Where to even begin with Ben. Ive been getting tattooed by him since 2021 and he has become such a dear friend of mine over time. i tend to be pretty introverted, so when i meet someone for the first time, im always a little awkward and shy at first; that was the opposite experience i had with Ben when i met him for the first time. i immediately felt so comfortable and it felt like id known him for YEARS. he does an amazing job at making everyone feel included, comfortable, safe, and makes you laugh if you have some pre-tattoo nerves. he will always ask you if youre feeling okay multiple times throughout the tattoo, whether its your first one or your 50th. so if it is your first one, dont be afraid to ask for a break if you need one! hes such a lovely person, and his talent is unreal. watching him grow over the years as an artist makes my lil heart swell. cannot recommend Ben enough; as a person and as an artist ☺️church is the first one he did on me, followed by more recent ones i adore !

Ben Whyte is one of my main artists for tattoos and he is just incredible. Ive followed him thru a few shop moves and Monkey Bones is by far my favorite place! Chill atmosphere, friendly and talented artists (who I plan on getting work from someday!), and Ben always has a ton of VHSs to choose from to watch during your session! Cant wait to go back!

I had Brook Hall as my artist. I really liked her. Shes very sweet, easy to talk to and VERY talented. She did an absolutely wonderful job on my American Akita tattoo. Getting the head/face shape and the eyes correct for the Akita is critical. She nailed it!!All the artists at Monkey Bones replied to my requests to get the art work done - which is impressive and not a normal thing for all tattoo artists. If you dont get a reply, keep trying. The really good artists are very busy and book up quickly.I highly recommend having an idea for the design you want when you contact the artists, if possible, but they will work with you on designs.

Monkey bones is clean and professional! I go to see Ben about once a month who is amazing! He’s extremely professional and kind and has a boatload of movies for your to watch during your appointment! His tattoos are phenomenal and I get compliments on them everyday. Highly recommend.

I’ve seen Ben for a number of my tattoos, and would recommend him to anyone! His room, full of nostalgia, is so comfortable and he truly makes the process of tattooing as painless as possible. He’s great to work with on custom pieces, but he also always has dope flash available. Definitely get something on the books with him!

I have been going to Ben Whyte for years! He constantly provides excellent service and high quality work. During the appointments he ensures you are comfortable, often times playing a movie and providing a numbing spray to alleviate some pain during the session. He cares about everyone he tattoos and it shows.

I got my first tattoo here from Brooke yesterday and she did a wonderful job. She was patient with my questions and took the time to make sure the placement looked good before starting. I was a little nervous about the pain and she was a very calming presence.

Ive been getting tattooed by Brook for a few years now and I have nothing but positive things to say! Shes so talented and sweet, I cant wait to get more work from her. Ive also gone to Tori once (so far) and she also did a great job and was so nice. Highly recommend the shop

Got a tattoo today by Anthony James and its amazing. This is my fifth tattoo by him and as usual it looks phenomenal. I also saw some of the work from some other artists working today and their work was great too!

Awesome service, my tattoo looks fantastic. Worth every penny I spent. You get what you pay for and prices are fair for the quality of work done. If you are looking for a cheep tattoo (under $125) go somewhere else, or pay them what they are worth, that simple. You wont regret it.

I got tattooed by Brook. While I was waiting we chatted with Roz (piercer). Brook was very pleasant. She allowed me to choose the music and made sure I was comfortable before starting. She did a great job. Id recommend this place for sure. All the staff that I interacted with seemed nice!

Me and my sister walked in to the shop in hopes of getting some ink done!!! Tori helped us out and spent lots of time listening to our wants and then came up with some ideas!! My sister went first and we came back the next day for mine! Both tattoos came out so beautifully!!! She was super awesome, the shop was super clean, everyone was friendly which you don’t find everywhere! This was tattoo number 15 for me and 2 for my sister!! So glad to finally have found a shop here in Ohio!!!!!!!

This is a great place! Very clean and professional! My Artist Viktoria was awesome! She was great at getting me scheduled after I was cancelled when they had to close because of the corona virus! She helped me with my ideas and was super nice and professional! Will be going back for sure!

I had my first tattoo ever with Viktoria and she was so patient with me! I got a little light headed right at the beginning, but after a quick position change the rest was a breeze! She makes great conversation and just is super nice. Will absolutely be getting the rest of my arm done with her!

Moving from a small town I am happy I was able to find monkey bones. I hate switching artist , but unfortunately my old artist lives 1.5hrs away (still love his work). But I came across monkey bones and after my first experience I will continue to go back. Staff is always nice and helpful. Ive had the pleasure of having Cole and Brook do work on my skin. Cole is what some may say my artist of choice, since he has done the majority of work. I love his work and how he makes sure the art is how you want it. I also enjoy his confidence. He is the only artist who agreed to coverup a very large blown out, scarred and black tattoo on my back.Highly recommend Monkey bones

Really great place! Ive been tattooed here twice and just got a medusa piercing yesterday. Friendly, skilled artists. Rozz, the piercing guy, was super nice and did a great job, explained everything I needed to know about this particular piercing, and was very enthusiastic about his job. Id definitely recommend this place!

Monkey bones is a great local shop to get your work done. Shop is very clean and updated. Artists are all extremely talented and have great attitudes. Every time I come in I feel like I’m just hanging out with friends and always have fun getting my work done. I’ve had Anthony do all my work for years now and he’s nothing short of amazing with his artwork and creativity. He can literally envision what you see in your mind and bring it to life thru his work which anyone that’s got a tattoo will tell you is very difficult at times for anyone such as myself that isn’t artistic. Great staff, very friendly. All very strict about working clean. No walls of flash to choose from, this is definitely a custom art place. Only gotten work from Torri and Brooke but everyone seems to have their own style so they can find the right person for the job.

Mike always does a great job on my tattoos. He has done all 5 of mine, not sure I could trust anyone else.

All of the staff are friendly. Cole is my artist, and I am thrilled with the work hes done for me. He knows what hes doing, and we always have a good laugh with the stuff we chat about during the tattoo.

I want to say that Spyder did my belly button piercing, but Im not positive. Anyway, my piercing was done perfectly and healed quickly. The store is very clean and the workers are very professional. I highly recommend this shop.

The wait was murder but probably to be expected on a weekend. Brook did my and my friends tattoos and they came out amazing. She even stayed late to get both done. I totally recommend this place.

Only time Ive ever felt like I was an outcast for not having enough visible tattoos. Went in to check on getting a wedding ring tattoo, but was told they wouldnt do one unless I was heavily tattooed! My whole upper back, both upper arms and one lower leg are all tattooed, but apparently not enough visible for this shop to want me to give them a possible new customer!

After a deviated septum surgery, I had my septum piercing fixed; it was incredibly professional and personal. I was given options I hadnt seen any where on the internet, it was really refreshing to see someone with so much knowledge, and care. I wasnt overpriced and the piercing looks amazing, without bleeding all over the place!

I had the worst experience yesterday while getting a small tattoo. I have contacted the owner and hoping for a quick resolution. I am beyond devastated at how terrible my tattoo looks! NEVER let someone freehand a tattoo! 😠

Raz did my 1st piercing back in 2010 and he was very professional! He took the time to talk to me and help me get a little more comfortable before all was exposed. I plan on getting another piercing and the first and only place Ill go to is Monkey Bones cause Raz is awesome!

The piercer himself was nice and tried super hard to make me feel comfortable with conversation but it didnt make up for his lack of knowledge that honestly should have made me run for the hills.I typically get pierced by a.p.p. members in Columbus however I was in beavercreek so I stopped at monkey bones cause I only needed jewelry changed vs driving 90 minutes.The piercer didnt have a working knowledge of how threadless neometal jewelry works. You have to slightly bend the pin on the end to get the tension in the post to set on it. He said it should always go straight in and in turn bent my straight labret posts to try to make it work. My piercings are 9 months old, with 14k gold ends that were expensive. I dont trust that my jewelry is now going to stay in with his method. Plus he was very rough when an insertion taper would have made a world of difference. The whole top of my ear was bleeding after being changed.My daith was an 18g leroi heart. I have the papers stating its 18g. He said it was a 16g and changed it to a 16g. My daith is slightly more than 2 months old and was also handled super rough in addition to now being a different gauge.Many of my friends go to monkey bones for tattoos but Id not recommend their piercer.....lesson learned as to why I only trust a.p.p. piercers eventhough I have to drive further to find them.

Got my first tattoo done here, a 3 hour session. Mike did an amazing job and made sure I understood how to properly take care of the tattoo afterwards. Cant wait to come back for another.

They do the best work by far. The artists are friendly and helpful and they are truly artists, not pick it and stick it guys. They are all laid back and easy going. They are priced reasonably. Always love going there.

Did not have a good visit there, paid 70 for piercing and he pierced it wrong and had to remove the piercing, not happy with them at all.
