I had a great time getting my tattoo done. I took a picture in there and showed it to Russ. He redrew it to a bigger size. Charged me a real reasonable $217 for excellent work. This kind of quality can not be beaten for this price. I had a good conversation with the man (Russ) as I got the work done. He is a funny dude which relieves tension and anxiety about getting tattooed if your scared. Location is the only thing wrong with this place. But its really close to downtown and I have never had any trouble though. Other then that this place is amazing.Me and my best friend have like 8 tattoos combined done by Rus. He is the best artist I have seen so far in Dayton. Our art is so much better then a lot of similar work done by other artists. He entertains you the whole time he tattoos too. Dude is hilarious. I always have a great time in this shop.

I paid $360 for a cover up that was changed and looks barely like the other tattoo I was hoping to get a few nuances from. Also went SO deep into my muscles, I have a blowout so severe it looks like ink dripping an inch toward my collarbone. They arent even fixing it!

Actually they deserve NO STARS. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. I PAID 350 FOR A MAN WHO CANT SPEAK MORE THAN 10 WORDS OF ENGLISH TOUCHING MY PARTS AND DOING WHATEVER HE WANTED AS A COVER UP... IVE GOT VIDEOS AND PICTURES DONT DO IT. Let me post it on the site once I sue them because that was so demeaning and disgusting.

I’ve been going here over the last decade and I won’t go anywhere else for piercings! Anytime I have an impulse piercing moment I go to Private Ink, the price is right, everyone is nice and professional, it’s clean, and I can just walk in and get taken care of!! They’re all amazing.

Chicken does an absolutely amazing job piercing.I have had my tongue and nipples done by him and they turned out beautifully.

Russ does such amazing work. This is the only place my husband and I go too and we will continue to bring our friends and family in. Thank you for doing a fantastic piece on my sister tonight.

Artist took deposit and totally GHOSTED! Made a post on the business page about experience and whomever tried to turn it around. This girl has done work before on me. She stated that Needmore was her shop. I did what was asked with deposit and I asked for my money back and well… D.J. has yet to do so!BE AWARE BE CAREFUL.You do NOT mess with people’s money!Very unprofessional, terrible business management !!

Dessa did a great job tattooing my arm & Tim did a great job piercing my nostril. Both were professional and made me comfortable.

Quick clean and professional.. i purchased a double nose piercing same side.. I was dine in one minute.. I was impressed they even took $20 off so instead of paying $100 I paid only $80. I was blown away and so excited definitely returning for more services

Tiffany has done all my piercings. Pics are both ears, but the right image is flipped. She’s so nice and funny and is super understanding about me being kind of scared. Love her, I recommend Private Ink for all your piercings.

I went in to get a lip piercing done . As soon as I walked through the door I was greeted. The shop is nice, VERY CLEAN , and laid back. He made me feel very relaxed and comfortable. The process was fast!I was serviced by the owner. His name is Timothy. He took his time answered my questions as well as gave me his input and advice. He was very knowledgeable and kind .Man hes just all around awesome cat!I would HIGHLY recommend this shop as well as the owner to do your work. Im sure other people in the shop dose great work too of course. But once Im attatched Im attatched. With that being said I will be coming back and when I do he will be the only one I allow to do any work.I hate that the establishment is 20 mins away from me, but it was WELL WORTH IT! I will do it all over again if I had to. SEE YOU SOON TIMOTHY!!! THANKS AGAIN!!!

I got my helix pierced and he was super chill and kind about it! He walked us through it and told us what to do for aftercare and gave us tips on changing it.

I love this place!!! My daughter just got her nose peirced and my son got his ear peirced, they look amazing!!! The guy who helped us was very nice and walked us step by step on how to clean the piercings!! I recommend coming here for any piercings you want!

Called on a Thursday and scheduled to have my tattoo done and the told me to come in on Saturday at 1:00. Got there and Ricco told me that I was scheduled with him but he also had a 1:30 scheduled. He told me he was going to do the 1:30 instead. He said he would text me at 1:30 to let me know what time I could come back or if he would have to schedule for a different day. It’s now Sunday night and he still hasn’t contacted me. Thanks Ricco, I scheduled with a different tattoo shop for next week that actually give a damn about their customers.

I went in and waited maybe 10 min before I was seen and I was in t h e chair and done in less then 5 minutes. All I got was a nose piercing so yes it was pretty quick.

Tim pierced my neices tongue and he was very professional quick and she never even felt it. Highly recommend trying this place for any tattoos or piercings

I got my septum done on Jul 13th, dude worked wonders! septum is already pretty much healed, was super nice and easy, talked me through the whole thing too. :)

My daughter got a naval piercing and a nose piercing the woman that did it was very good I forgot to ask her name but she was very nice and explained everything it was clean and we got a good price highly recommend

The artist was amazing and very professional however the management was very unwelcoming to women and seemed to be involved in shady business outside of the shop. I don’t recommend going here unless you’d like to be in a toxic environment with poor management that shows no respect to workers or customers.

I got my nipples pierced the other day and he did an amzing job very quick and easy explanation of after care instructions. Highly recommend.

Russ did a great job. Wanted a cover up for a tattoo I hated. With the tattoo being so dark it couldnt be covered up. Russ incorporated it into a sleeve piece and made it pop. Very happy with the tattoo I hated for so long.Thanks to Russ

Walked in shop and talked to Eric Hays about tattoo. Showed him several pics and where I wanted tattoo. He quoted a price and I made app the next week. Gave deposit for appt. Came in for tattoo that next weekend and made some adjustments, shrunk size by almost half, removed some detail and all but just one partial color. He tattooed me for an hour and a half which included 2 smoke breaks (his not mine). So actual ink time was an hour! He charged me $417.00 for a 6x 3.5 shaded tattoo...no actual line work even involved! I was in shock! Even stopped before leaving to ask if he forgot to take deposit off total! To which he said he hadtaken it off already! Left to go to another appt on other side of Dayton. While driving thought about what just happened and that not only was his quote not honored but the actual tattoo was half the size of the one he quoted and I paid $150 plus more!!!!! Yes I was naive and stupid for not just saying I wasnt paying that much when he told me but like I said I was in shock and not accustom to dealing with this type of shady business practices. Next day went to Timothy Bell, owner of shop at his downtown shop and asked what he thought the tattoo on arm was worth and he himself said $150-175! So proceeded to tell him the whole story. In end I was refunded $150 but $275 was still too much for any tattoo of that size. It is a nice tattoo but not the quality I would have paid that for!!! I like the tattoo but the whole experience was tarnished by a dishonest artist and shotty business owner who refused to make things right. I would not recommend Private Ink or East Dayton Tattoos to ANYONE!!! Plenty other shops to get this quality tattoo without being ripped off. I was there on a Friday night and not one other customer called or stopped in the entire time we were there!! I think that says volumes alone.

VERY rude..went in for a simple heart tattoo it was done poorly,crooked..asked for it to be corrected within my 90 days,was refused..also recieved 2 tragus piercings and they swole and fell out because of the harsh application and just 4 days later they came out..they didnt offer any assistance and was just very rude and non chalent DEFINITELY do not recommend if i could rate -10 i would
