Truth and Triumph Tattoo

It’s been a long journey but after searching for about 9 years I finally the right artist to do a custom piece. Mike Srnoyachki and from the first email to our first meeting booking a consultation he was the upmost professional. Impressed by the work he displayed on his IG being able to see the style of realism that he had already completed, after the consultation I knew Mike was the artist I wanted to work with. Mike educated me on aftercare even though this isn’t my first piece things have changed and I will be updating this post with a healed pic of the work he did on my ribs. Can’t recommend Mike enough, he is definitely worth the wait but the price he charges is equal to the work he does. He is on his way to being a world class tattoo.

Ive seen Kevin for two tattoos now, not only is his art stellar, but he is extremely welcoming and friendly. I always appreciate his insight on the best placement for the tattoo, and how he makes me feel at ease. Both of these pieces are in places that are pretty painful, but his tattooing is always very gentle and leaves minimal skin irritation. My back tattoo healed within a week.My friends come to see him now, and I always recommend him to people who ask about my tattoos 😊

John Lloyd is incredible (he did my newest tattoo). All the other artists here are amazing too, everyone was super nice and helpful. The studio was clean and I was overwhelmed by the art displayed. Truly amazing. I really had a great experience. Amazing cover tattoo and I got the itch to do more.

John Lloyd is a fantastic artist and not terribly painful to sit next to for 7 hours! Love the memorial he did for me incorporating my plain black, 2-D eagle and turning it into an amazing centerpiece with flawless freehand poppies.

Had the most Amazing time at Truth and Triumph Tattoo! The parlor had a cool and eclectic vibe! The artists were warm, inviting and highly professional with the utmost talent! Use to get tattoo on by Chris fettig does good work but will will play with u and ignore and won’t finish ur tattoos or give you ur free touch up and fix some messed up spots. Have had multiple tattoos done from him couple years ago. Then all of sudden he stated not responding on instagram from months at time when u would try to schedule an appointment each message u sent would take 2 months to get response would take half year to get appointment scheduled. Then finally got one scheduled and showed up he was tattoo someone else. Then got a reschedule and next appointment something I called up to let him now I was running ten min late and Chick on phone said he was tattooing someone else he forgot about mine would have rescheduled and he would get my asap and never did. Then I could get ahold of for almost a year after that then he finally responded here recently after messaging he for months he responded asked like he was down to do this tattoo of my daughter and finish my sleeve and touch up spots that have need fixed for over 2 years. I messaged a couple time asked boy get a date scheduled then he just out now where blocked my on instagram abd Facebook lol. But ya if u want some real good work that you will have a hard time scheduling appointments and getting ur tattoos finished or even getting ur free touch ups ur offred hit him Chris fettig he’ll you might even get blocked when all you have done is spend over $1500 with someone and hit them up to try schedule appointments. Was alway polite and cool always tip never did anything out of line

Took my daughter in for her first tattoo, was an amazing experience! Kelsey was her artist, super knowledgeable, very helpful, went way out of her way to make it a great time! Very clean, friendly atmosphere, we will be returning again, already have next appointment booked!

Alexis Zappia took great care of my daughter for her first tattoo, and did 3 more tattoos for me. I cant be happier, she is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I’M TELLING YOU ALL RIGHT NOW GO TO THIS PLACE AND BOOK WITH CHARLIE ASAP!!!!!! He did me and my best friends matching tattoos yesterday and he did a phenomenal job 🤩. I’m so obsessed with my new ink I keep on looking at it in awe😍😍. He’s one of the most patient tattoo artists I’ve ever come across so props to him for that plus he made me and my best friend super comfortable upon our arrival and during the time he tattooed us. This place is hands down the best tattoo shop in the Dayton area plus not even mentioning the inside of the shop is so cool and whoever designed it did a pretty damn good job. Don’t waste another second thinking about coming here because I’m telling you all right now, it’s worth every second!!!!

I went to Truth and Triumph to ask about getting a full sleeve to commemorate my long military service. I sought out Brian Brenner because I had seen some of his other work with patriotic themes. I was impressed from our very first consultation. Brian is passionate about his art. When I told him my story and gave him a rough idea of what I wanted in my tattoo, he simply said, I can make a rad piece for you! And boy did he deliver! We just finished our first session yesterday and it turned out better than I could have imagined. The design is more than I ever expected. Also, everyone in his shop is courteous and polite if you walk in the door, youll be cheerfully greeted by someone within five seconds. I sat in the chair for six hours and saw several people come and go ... It was like they were all family. This is a great shop. I trust them enough that I sent my daughter there to get a piece done as well. Thanks Brian, youve been awesome. Im looking forward to the next session.

I enjoyed my first time at Truth & Triumph very much! I based my decision on going to them by reviews on here and I made the right choice. Tommy Nash was my artist and not only did he do an excellent job but also was great company. I recommend this branch of Truth & Triumph for anyone getting their first or next tattoo. Customer service was great. I felt welcomed and that my business there was important to them.

Excellent staff, Clean environment, Talented Artist. Extremely happy with my tattoo. Stop searching the Google net. This is the place to get your tattoo. You will have a great time, some great conversation and laughs and leave with the best ink around. Credit to John Lloyd for this amazing ink.

Great experience. Jess and Chris, (Comfy) were great. I came in with an idea and Comfy drew the piece and it was perfect. Everyone was so nice, I felt like Id known them for years. You might be a stranger when you walk in but you wont leave one. I will recommend these folks to everyone. Thanks so much and Ill surely be back.

Kevin did my tattoo and its absolutely amazing. With it being my first tattoo, I appreciated how friendly he was and how comfortable the atmosphere was as soon as I walked in. He worked with me patiently on my design. Definitely recommend.

I got my tattoo done by Jenny. I have anxiety and was freaking out. Not only did she do AMAZING with mine and my friends tattoo but she was really sweet, sincere and helped me calm down and stay calm. Just a great experience all around and great staff. This review is based on the experience I had at the Huber Heights location at 5559 Troy Pike Dayton Ohio, Ive noticed google hasnt recognized that shop yet ! With all that said , The team of gals and guys out there are awesome ! Its a bit of a different experience, As soon as you walk in the door you are greeted immediately with a smile ! (not the norm for a tattoo shop) Ive been to shops where they look at you like your lost or you dont belong , Not here ! It was refreshing to have a warm and sincere greeting. They really were interested in what i had to say and my thoughts on what i was wanting to accomplish, They provided a lot of input and suggested placement that i wouldnt have thought of .... I could go on and on about how great this place is ! I DEFIANTLY recommend Brain Brenner and the entire team at Truth and Triumph Huber Heights

Morgan did my very first tattoo!! i absolutely love her and her art she was very helpful and provided me with more than enough information to take care of my tattoo! she was very professional and honestly i recommend her and this shop to everyone! aside from morgan everyone else in the shop was supportive and so kind!

Narayan was awesome and did a great job on my tattoo. The young lady in front getting guests gave a warm friendly welcome. They made sure they got it right before it went onto my body. Very happy! Other workers seemed standoffish for some reason. Not sure why. Id go back.

Went with my husband while he was getting a new tattoo. Staff was welcoming and professional. I was there for a couple of hours with him and had a lot of fun hanging out with my husband and his tattoo artist. His tattoo turned out beautifully. Very impressed.

Both my husband and I have multiple tattoos from Truth and Trumph. He has 2 Maori style arm pieces, a Pink Panther and our wedding date on his shin, all done by Josh Wilson and I have a bony hand done Josh Cook (Cookie) and our wedding date done by Josh Wilson. The shop is clean (we actually walked in during cleaning time), the guys are all super nice and ready to work with you to get the piece you want. The price was good as well. The guys are always super nice and their prices are fair. And the guys know who is good at what. Cookie is great with lettering and drew out our wedding date tattoos for Josh. All in all, great experience and I cant wait to get another piece done there.

Terrible experience with Morgan. August 28th, 2018. Maybe I came in on a bad day for her (it was a walk-in), completely unprofessional from the start. I was ignored for the longest time, then during the tattoo another client canceled on her. She was extremely agitated by this (I can understand) however, I felt like it was taken out on me. During the process she was extremely rough with wiping my skin off after each stroke that it was more painful than the actual tattoo (let me say that I have MULTIPLE other large tattoo pieces, one being on my sternum and across my stomach, and did not feel this type of pain and roughness). Im now left with uneven color and a blue tint around my entire piece, none of my other pieces have bled color like this and I cant help but think it was from he extreme roughness and pressure of wiping the ink away. Not happy at all when I look at this now. My only hope is to finish my sleeve and hope it blends in/camouflages it.-Side note- I know I could go back in to get the color evened out but I refuse to go back to her.

Just got one done by Artie and it turned out AMAZING, true talent. The atmosphere is also great and everybody is very friendly and even offered to get me some food they were going out and grabbing for lunch.

Im super late posting this but it just dawned on me to do so. Cookie of course did an amazing job and the other artists and employees were amazing and friendly as always. Love this place

You call the shop get the artist number to try and set something up they never text you back r call you back and this is what the owner wants you to do..Very sad heard good things about this shop and this happens cant believe it. So we headed to Columbus to get one..

JOHN LLOYD did my JUST WIN tattoo and covered a old tattoo from years ago I didnt like anymore, this image did not come from the internet. The RAIDER NATION he touch up in certain spots from a previous artist that went too deep on me and caused me to scab alot and it pulled out some of the ink in certain spots. I thought John was very light handed and very smooth at applying the ink the whole time. Im not saying this just because I had mine done by him, but I literally could have laid there 5 hours straight to get it done if I had too, but my body wont let me lay that long without breaks. Im in the itching and drying stage now. I have not seen any swelling, bleeding or changes in anything since I had it done, Im like having no pain at all, just a small amount of peeling. Its been a little over a week now and usually by this time Im swollen alot because someone went too deep on me and I scab so much I would always have to come back for a touch up. I think he is totally worth the wait and the money to do the job. Sometimes it takes multiple people to deal with to realize you found a true person that can do the job.
