April pierced me (more than once) and several of my friends over 20 years ago. For several years she was the vice president of the Association of Professional Piercers which wrote and lobbied for safe guidelines that are now industry standards. She has worked extremely hard to open her own shop and as of mid July 2024 she has finally achieved her dream.Today I was so glad that I could bring my daughter to get her ears pierced! Ive been getting pierced for over a decade by 5 different piercers, and April was immediately my favourite. Excellent bedside manner, knowledgeable, respectful, and just all-around charming. The studio is very clean yet cozy, a different vibe from the usual tattoo & piercing shops Im used to. Theres free parking right by the door.Google maps will take you to the wrong end of the building, its closer to the Dairy Queen side, by the train tracks.

April is wonderful! She is so knowledgeable, kind, and trustworthy. She’s been doing piercings for 25+ years and has just recently opened this shop. The shop itself is so cute and comfortable. I came in to have my ears re-pierced after not wearing earring regularly for years. The selection was great and suited a lot of styles, and she clearly knows her stuff. I felt safe, comfortable, and in good hands.

Been seeing April for mine and my 2 daughters’ (and their friends) piercings for years. She’s incredibly sweet and gentle. Very safe and clean environment. Highly recommend!

I met April over 20 years ago. I have had many piercings done by April and I am so excited for her new adventure of owning her own business now. I had a wonderful experience today in getting April Heart to pierce my ears.. I never felt a thing and I left feeling very happy and knowing I could take care of my new piercings. She is very kind in taking time to explain to you how to care for your ears and show you a beautiful selection of earrings to choose from. I will be returning to get a second set and bringing my granddaughter to get hers done. I truly believe if you want piercings you should go to April at her shop Exhale Piercings.

My daughter and I went in to get some piercings from April today. The space is beautiful and April was so kind to both of us. My daughter was nervous, but April really calmed her nerves and spent the time to teach us each about the jewelry, the piercing process, the healing process, and everything in between. We felt very well taken care of throughout our time in the shop. I have already told several friends and family members to go to Exhale for piercings and I know we will definitely be back.🩷

My experience getting pierced by April, was simply INCREDIBLE. She is so warm and welcoming. Her shop is beautiful and clean and theres a wide selection of gorgeous, great quality jewelry to choose from. I had my rook pierced by her and it was nearly painless . Clearly, shes very knowledgeable and experienced in her craft, and will be my go-to for all my piercing needs:)

A friend wanted to go into April’s new shop, both for jewelry and to visit. She has incredible energy that just permeates her space—and such a beautiful collection of jewelry. 🤩 There’s definitely something for everyone there. Also, I spent forever trying to make a decision and she was super helpful, never pushy… so patient and kind. It’s close to our house, too, so this might be dangerous. I’m trying to think of more piercings to make room for some of her pieces. I loved my time there!!

April has done all of my piercings since I met her in the late 90s. You will love her for her authenticity. She is very professional, gentle and a genuinely caring person. I can’t recommend her enough. Years ago I found the most wonderful septum jewelry ever. Right after moving back to Georgia, it broke. I have looked and looked and asked around to find it again to no avail. What did I find at Exhale Jewelry today? The exact design I had before. Kismet. So freaking happy!! Thank you so much!!

I think April is fabulous. I was her first client when she came to Atlanta and 54 piercings later she is the only one I go to. She’s creative, thoughtful, caring, and nurturing. Always professional but I never feel I am just her next client. She listens and shares. If you are looking for an artist then you need to see April.
