Royal Spade Tattoo

I took my grandson to this shop today to get his nose pierced. I am a retired nurse practitioner so I am very focused on cleanliness and safe practices. I found nothing whatever to complain about. The young man who did the piercing was kind, gentle, and very careful. Instruments and supplies were obviously in sterile packaging, the interior of the shop was all very clean, the artist washed his hands and changed gloves when switching what he was doing, and he wore a mask during the procedure. And it wasn’t because of my profession - he didn’t know. Altogether it was a great experience. My grandson has designed a tattoo for me, and once I get ready to actually have it done, I will go to Royal Spade. One reviewer commented that the artist declined to do something she wanted because he felt it wouldn’t turn out well. I was actually happy to read that because I would want to be told if a tattoo is not going to turn out very well on my elderly skin. High marks for an excellent business.

Super clean and professional. I had a great experience getting my ears pierced for the first time. The guy doing it was very sweet and made me feel comfortable. Definitely recommend!

I was advised that the artist did not want to do the size tattoo I requested because it was to small. Even though I have 5 more to get. Didnt know artists turned people down. I know many people who go here. They recommended this place. Guess they arent aware of how they treat people. I will make sure people know the truth. Just because I dont want my whole arm or leg done doesnt mean I should be turned away.

Zeb is amazing. I get all my piercings and tattoos here. Incredible work. Gentle tattoo artist. Art heals great. He is a quiet beast that can bless your body with beautiful artwork you can wear forever.

I have three tattoos from RS. The last was a memorial for my granddaughter and Zeb did an amazing job!! Highly recommend RS to everyone.

I had been in a little over a month ago for a lip piercing, I asked a bunch of questions Im sure hes answered a hundred times over, he answered everything I asked and didnt appear to be bothered by it. It was my first facial piercings and I was scared, the way he handled my questions and walked me thru every step helped me a great deal. I went back today for two more. The place was spotless and clean (just like the first time). The owner was a sweetheart (he did my first one too) he talked me thru it again step by step, what not to do after, what I should do for the After care ... I plan to get one more piercing and will definitely be going back to this shop for it.

Took my six year old to get her ears pierced. The lady was super nice and made her feel comfortable the entire time. She explained the whole process to her and told her exactly what she was going to do before doing it. The piercer was very sweet and helped calm my daughter’s nervousness. Would recommend to anyone, especially to parents who’s kids want their ears pierced.

Zeb is the best around for sure. He did an amazing job covering up my 17 year old mistake. You definitely want someone who knows what they are doing and Zeb is very knowledgeable and obviously experienced. Very clean and professional. I would and have recommended Royal Spade to my friends. I recently got a piercing done here and it was phenomenal. Definitely one of the most professional and clean places that I have visited. Also, everyone is very knowledgeable and helps you through it every step of the way. I could not have picked a better place to have my piercing done.

Dakota Richerson pierced my double helix on my ear and it didn’t hurt one bit! She was so informative and talked me through everything she did. She was very professional, cool as hell, and the cleanliness was impeccable! I’ve never been this stoked and happy over a piercing! Highly, highly recommended!!! Thanks my girl!!!

The staff was very professional.. The business was clean from outside to inside.. very thorough with what he was going to doand thats with before abs after care of my piercing..Pricing very reasonable. Stopped by just to see if I could get some insight about a piercing I’d just gotten not too long bc I had some concerns about swelling and pain. I wasn’t coming to complain about the piercing bc I hadn’t gotten the work done there, I just wanted to get it looked at and get some feedback. The guy that was there was very rude and immediately defensive as if I was accusing him of something. I understand I wasn’t a paying customer and he had not done the piercing however a little bit of hospitality would’ve been nice even if you couldn’t help with the issue.

Dakota does great piercings! The shop was very clean & she was very knowledgable about after care. She also made sure I was 100% confident in the markings before she did them. 😍

Dude absolutely cannot be bothered (unless youre one of his buddies or a referral I guess?). Absolutely zero response from his Facebook. Never ever picked up the phone when I called. Tried walking in and was told I couldnt possibly until , without really even the option of a conversation.

Tonight, I waited four hours for a four-line tattoo that I never received. If I could give zero stars, I would. I decided to come to Royal Spade after seeing a Facebook post about Friday the 13th tattoo specials. The Facebook post stated that they would be doing small 2-4 inch simple tattoo designs from 1-10pm and it specifically said Walk-In only. I arrived at the shop around 6:30pm and paid for my tattoo. At that point, there were five other people in the waiting area. As I waited, several other people came into the shop. I waited for a couple of hours as the people that came in before me got their tattoos done. At around 9:45, the receptionist called back people that arrived after I did. I was a little confused, so I went to the desk and asked the receptionist if I was next in line. She told me that there was one couple ahead of me but that I would be next after that. She asked what my tattoo was, and I told her it was the symbol for the air element, which was only a triangle with a line through it. She told me that she would try to squeeze me in next before the couple because my tattoo was so simple. At around 10:30, the couple that was ahead of me was called back. A few minutes later, another couple that arrived after me was called back. I went to the front desk and told the receptionist that I thought I was next. It was at this point that one of the tattoo artists came up and told me that they could not keep tattooing all night and that they could not accept walk-ins all night. I pointed out that people who arrived after me were called back, and that I had been there since 6:30pm. That is when he informed me that everyone that was called back had been in earlier that day and were told to come back later. I was dumbfounded that I was not told this once; not when I came in nor during the four-hour duration I spent waiting. I was not informed about any possibility that I would not be able to get my tattoo tonight until after I had been waiting four hours, and then was told that I could not get my tattoo. It also makes no sense to me why people could leave and come back for a special that was advertised as Walk-In only. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of organization and customer service of this shop and I would not wish this horrible experience on anyone.

Zeb is an amazing tattoo artist! He is talented and knows exactly what he is doing. The staff there is just a joy to be around and I highly recommend them!

I honestly can not say enough about this place they are amazing super friendly and the gentleman that pierced my babys ears was amazing he went above and beyond to make my little girl feel comfortable but her being 2 she was a bit hard to deal with but he was super patient and understanding and friendly i will recommend this place to family and friends
