Hold Fast Tattoo

I was never actually able to get the tattoo but Jeff drew it out so beautifully, it was literally breathtaking. He was also amazing about me having to reschedule. The shop is spotless, the artists are freaking amazing and literally make you feel so welcome and important to them. I recommend Hold Fast to everyone. Jeff is amazing hands down.I will be getting a tattoo and septum piercing there VERY soon and I will post pics.Thank you all you and your staff do, Jeff. Its amazing!Cori Simons

My husband and I stopped by here to ask about getting tattoos done and price points. The girl who came to greet us was very nice and helpful. Their price points are great just like it says in their reviews. We havent gotten any work done here yet but we plan on coming back some time and getting some work done...very great positive atmosphere and comfortable. Clean. We felt very relaxed and happy to be there. Was worth just stopping by. Tattoos can be pricey depending on where you go and why not go to a tattoo shop who offer great prices. So far, we would highly recommend looking into trying out this tattoo shop!

I have had three of my five tattoos done by Jeff, and I am still just as pleased with them years later as I was when I first got them. His quality is unbelievable. He does some of the best work I have seen. All my tattoos still look just as vibrant as the day I got them. The atmosphere is relaxed and just overall down to earth, and not to mention the always have the best music playing. I love Emily and Jeff, they both run a professional, clean, and amazing shop. By far the best and friendliest shop I have ever been to! Will continue to get tattoos here always!!

I went there in April 2010 to get my first-ever tattoo. I asked them a zillion times if that would hurt. So scared, I left saying Id come back when I feel ready, but came back right after (and it was raining so I remember that day so vividly). They designed one for me (I requested that it would be a heart and a musical note in it). I cherish this tattoo to this day, and I appreciate you guys for being so patient with me, and teaching me how to care for it step by step. It didnt hurt at all, and I was very comfortable during the whole process. Thank you again so much!!

I have been seeing Jeff for my tattoos since 2012. The shop is impeccably clean, he does fantastic work. Every staff member here is knowledgeable, informative, and helpful. They are definitely willing to work with you to achieve exactly what you want. They are also really responsive and easy to get in touch with so thats a definitely plus!

This will be the only tattoo shop I ever get tattoos from. I’ve known Jeff and Emily for years and they’re both amazing! Jeff did my 3 tattoos and after like 5 years they still look brand new! I get compliments constantly and am proud to say where I got them done :). Can’t wait to get more!Also, he is very gently and is mindful of your pain tolerance and does what he can to make it the best experience. Very clean and professional. Amazing artists too 🤗

Anne is amazing!! I sent her my idea and she drew up the design and sent it to me ahead of time for approval. She was incredibly professional from start to finish, I couldnt be happier!She was recommended by my oldest friend whos covered in tattoos so I trust her more than anyone.

I’ve had two tattoos done so far by Jeff, and he does amazing work! The shop has a nice relaxed atmosphere to it, and everyone I’ve encountered in the process of consultations/booking an appointment/actually being in the shop has been very friendly and helpful. Super clean and hygienic, if you’re into that (which you should be). I definitely plan to get more work done here in the future, and have referred others to this shop because I just can’t say enough positive things about them.

I absolutely love Hold Fast. The shop is cozy, clean, and inviting - Emily is awesome and I love that shes the first thing you see when you walk in the door! Jeff is such a nice guy and is incredibly talented. My experience here has been 100% positive and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone who needed quality work done.

About 8 of my 10 tattoos were done by Jeff the Owner/Tattoo Artist and wow. He is literally the only artist i like doing tattoos now and his quality of work gets better and better every day. Prices are great for the amount of quality he provides. Definitely would recommend family and friends to get their work done here.

Ive been going to see Jeff since 2012 for all of my tattoos and a coverup. Everything heals wonderfully and the shop is ALWAYS immaculately clean and spotless. Theres great music playing and everyone is very patient especially if youre getting something in a tricky spot. Jeff is an extremely talented and versatile artist and produces consistent artwork. If youre going to invest in wearable art, I recommend hold fast to everyone. Literally everyone I know.

Ive had a considerable amount of work done with Holdfast. Awesome work each and every time. Fair prices and great work. I went to one tattoo artist for over 10 years and after seeing Jeffs work I had to try him out. Needless to say I made the switch permanently. I cant wait to get more work done!

Jeff did a wonderful piece in remembrance of my father for myself, mother, and sister. The people are welcoming especially to my Mom, who never had a tattoo. The shop was extremely clean and professional. Being in the healthcare field this is something I look for. I would definitely recommend Hold Fast to anyone looking to get a tattoo!

I’ve been to Jeff at Hold Fast for five tattoos and I couldn’t have had better experiences! Scheduling was fast and Jeff put in a lot of work toward my design ideas! Each visit was a great experience and I’ll be back in the future for more! It’s totally worth checking out!!

Anne can take any idea and make it wonderful and perfect. She listens to what you want to do and works with you the whole time. Very clean shop. Very reasonable pricing. Id recommend this place to everyone looking for creative and communicating tattoo artists!

My husband and I have had quite a few tattoos by Jeff and while we both love his work and had no problem with him we will not be back due to the lack of professionalism from his front desk girl or manager . She is rude to customers and uses Facebook as a place to bash clients . Being a service provider myself would never tolerate this behavior from a place Iam paying for a service .It’s to bad because Jeff is an amazing artist and she’s ruining the bisiness reputation .

Jeff is a great artist who Ive known since I moved to Dover, before this place even existed. His work is clean, crisp, and professional. Check them out on facebook or instagram if you need proof.

A year after my wife passed away I wanted to get a tattoo in memory of her. MJ heard my ideas and was able to create a beautiful tattoo for me. He did such an awesome job I had him redo the tattoo I got when I was 21 and make it his own. Both are awesome pieces that I’m proud to show off. Couldn’t be happier with them!

It is very true that the shop manager frequently goes on various social media platforms lambasting/insulting/demeaning potential clients and people in general. Putting down peoples ideas, bemoaning her position as a customer service rep, just projecting a negative attitude. Jeff seems like a solid guy and great artist but the manager is unprofessional and rude in this regard. If you call and she doesnt respect your questions or ideas, you could very likely end up a target on her FB/instagram. She should be nicer if she knows her name and reputation are tied to a business. If it was a corporate atmosphere, a reprimand/termination would not be out of the question.

Havent had work done here yet, but Ive had a dialogue with the owner and main artist Jeff. Hes courteous, answers all of my questions, and his work and art style are out of this world. Highly recommend.

Jeff has done my entire sleeve on my right arm with all the MLB baseball teams as well as all of my wifes tattoos, his line work is amazing and Gilbert alone will make you want to come back!
