Yesterday, my wife and I were both tattooed by Jake. We had such a great experience! He was friendly, listened to our suggestions, and is extremely talented. Everyone at the shop was very kind and welcoming. Would highly recommend getting tattooed by them!

Jacob is fantastic. he was able to tattoo my wife’s arm where she has a lot of scar tissue which is not an easy task. not to mention the dude just has great energy and is super professional. you cannot go wrong getting ink from this dude. her first tattoo by jake was the hollow night on the right her second was the anchor on the left. we will be seeing you again soon my dude.

Matty b has always been a great piercer. Ive been going to him since one of my first piercings & over the years as I move, I still come back just for him.

My granddaughter recently got her nose pierced and this was the second time the earring came out. They suggested a screw-on back so it wont come out again.

Got my septum done Wayyyyyy to high in my cartilage and to small no room for swelling when I paid, I handed him 100 He took my $100 DollarsDid not give me $20 back in change

So far, all 3 of my kiddos have had their ears pierced by Matty, I’ve had my eyebrow done by him and now my inner/ orbital conch. Every time I leave, I’m over the moon. He’s super chill and keeps things mellow, easy to talk to and ask questions, clean and keeps you informed on what he’s doing as he does it. I’ll definitely keep going back for future piercings and highly recommend him!

So far only had piercings done here, wonderful atmosphere and very considerate to customers, havent had an infected/bad piercing done here! Getting tats soon because I just love the service!

Jordan changed out a piece of jewelry in an intimate area for me. Very chill dude and made me feel comfortable. Told me all about the jewelry I was getting and my options. He made sure I was doing well the whole time. The piercing area of the shop was clean and well maintained. I will definitely go back.

MattyB was professional knew that I had prior piercings so he knew that I knew what I was doing for aftercare offered up if any issues to contact him, and even suggested an artist in the building for some potential cover up work

My 7 year old daughter has wanted her ears pierced for 2 years now and I have been waiting for a tattoo/piercing place to take her to. Matty B was super nice and took the time to explain everything to my daughter before each step! She smiled the whole time, no tears at all! Thanks Matty B! I highly recommend 😃

My sister and I went in for a helix piercing each, and Jordan was absolutely fantastic!!! With neither of us having been to a tattoo parlor before or having a piercing done other than lobes, he made us feel comfortable, walking us through the steps he was taking. He was also extremely clean and kept everything as sterile as possible. Give this guy a raise please!!!!!

Clean, professional and quality art. Thiis is the place if youre looking for large, custom, distinctively good tattoos. Jake Miller has done some incredible artwork. Ive also seen some really impressive pieces from the other artists.No wonder they have the best reputation in Erie!I dont have any piercings, but Ive seen a lot of really happy customers move through while Ive had my work done. I would recommend them for anybody looking for any body art while in Erie.

ONLY my 3rd tattoo at the ripe age of 58 mind you. Made appointment with Jake last month and was not disappointed in the studio, staff, and tattoo. Jake was great. Talked a bit along the way for the 1.5 hours that I was there. Interesting artists and I love the work that he accomplished professionally. Ill be back for more as time goes on. BRAVO.

I got my tragus pierced on each side and was extremely pleased with the overall service I received. From the cleanliness of the shop, to the piercer being friendly and talking me through the whole process, I left a very happy customer! Matty B was professional, friendly, and made it a great experience. I definitely recommend going to see him for your piercings!

I received two piercings from Matty B just about a month ago now. Upon getting my tongue pierced I voiced it didn’t feel right Matty then told me once the swelling goes down if i still felt the same way to call him. I did follow up as my swelling had gone down I explained how the ball was constantly hitting my teeth so I changed the bar to a shorter one but it’s still hitting my teeth. I noticed the piercing was slanted instead of straight up and down he then said sometimes they have to do that to get the piercing to go through this is my second time having this done and it never hit my teeth when I first had it done. He had no solution but to redo it in another month I requested a refund and he declined. So he knowingly pierced my tongue incorrectly and thinks he going to touch me again. Never again very unprofessional and would not recommend to anyone. I have been pierced by missy multiple times at sacred piercings and she’s great highly recommended and she backs and guarantees all her work!

Jacob Miller did a wonderful job on my daughters Ghost Face. So much detail to it.

I got three piercings (two on the same eye brow one nose) and started my gauges, Jordan made it all so painless and easy, I dont think I could ever go anywhere else for piercings. He double checked with me three times that the placements were right and made sure I knew how to take care of them, I can not recommended this place more

I went in for piercings with MattyB. He was absolutely amazing. Made me feel so comfortable and was very professional. I was extremely nervous going in, but it was done and over with in a blink and was a quick pinch on both sides. He was able to get me in earlier than my appt time and I was in and out within 15 minutes. I definitely recommend and will be going back for any future work. Thanks again!

Great place for tatts or piercings!! Had 2 piercings done by Matty B., he was professional, his area clean and he made sure each step of the procedure was well-executed and hygienic! When I had a problem with the length of my labret stud, he found the right size and it was perfect, then.Very clean, professional & welcoming -- 5 stars!!

It was my first time there yesterday and i enjoyed it. Matty B seemed friendly overall but a little quiet, which i dont mind, im not much of a talker myself. i got my tongue pierced there and there was barely any pain, only a pinch. its the next day and i have no major pain, only the expected swelling and ache. thank you for the piercing :)

Please listen to the one star reviews. I have had 11 piercings done in total and mine from Ink Assassins was the worst by far. I had my industrial done, which I know can be a tricky piercing to heal. When I went into the shop, I was not greeted kindly and made comfortable like you would be at a good shop. My piercer barely talked to me, probably said a total of 10 words. The whole process was uncomfortable and seemed unprofessional. I tipped generously and didn’t even receive a thank you. I cleaned it as instructed but a month later, my piercing rejected and I almost had to have stitches because of how close it was to splitting my top cartilage in 2. I went to Buddha’s which is a shop I know and trust, and have had excellent experiences with in the past. He removed it for me and not only was it pierced incorrectly by my piercer at Ink Assassins, but it was also pierced with low quality jewelry that did not even have threaded ends. Please do not go to Ink Assassins, worst shop I have ever been in in my city.

Ive gotten a couple intimate places pierced, and Matty B has done an awesome job every time. Everything is very clean, he walks you through step by step whats going to happen and answers any questions you have with the utmost confidence. Very professional! He made what couldve been an awkward situation very casual and not uncomfortable at all.I would definitely recommend Matty B for any piercings.

I have never been to such a terrible place to get a piercing. Got a tounge piercing from Matt B yesterday and the first time he pierced it through the tip of my tounge so I went back inside to make him do it over again so here for a second poke in one day he got it back farther but guess what now its crooked in my mouth not straight. And I cannot feel the tip of my tounge its very numb. Never will go back there again. 10/10 do not recommend.

I have received 5 ear piercings here, 2 rooks, 1 daith, 1 conch, 1 tragus. All have healed perfectly. Jordy did my latest one and I love it, it was perfectly placed and he was very professional and courteous

My 16 year old daughter, her mom and myself decided to get the same Tatt, so we drove down and arrived to make an appointment. When we got there they had a cancellation, so we were able to be fit in. 40 minutes and $309 we were all done. Very quick, clean, and professional.

I went in looking for a traditional tattoo because I knew the shop was known for it. I worked with Thorns. He was able to get me in for the same week which is pretty quick considering Covid times. I was treated very well and I was super comfortable during the whole process. I ended up leaving with a really awesome traditional tiger tattoo. I would definitely go back for traditional pieces because they seem very passionate about that style there and their passion reflects in the work!

Matty B did my piercing, quick, painless, did not feel a thing. He is thorough, knows what hes doing. I definitely wont trust any other piercer. Thank, Matty! Youre awesome! I love it.

Got my first tattoo today. EMS is a very friendly guy with a huge imagination and great skills. Very informative, very comfortable environment, you can tell the customers safety is their first priority. It was a fun experience, albeit a little painful as expected lol. Thanks guys!!

I got my lobes pierced and two mid-sized tattoos here this month, and I couldnt be happier with how they all turned out. The piercing was relatively painless and the tats (designed by EMS) look absolutely gorgeous. Highly, highly recommend!

This is hands down the WORST business I’ve ever been to in my life. They are insanely rude and unprofessional. They have different standards for different people, depending on whether or not you allow them to talk to you like you’re trash. They back you into putting a deposit down upfront so that they get paid regardless. They almost ruined my kid’s day, but thankfully the very kind, professional people at Ink Xspression took care of us and gave my daughter the best possible experience. Definitely don’t waste your time or money here.

Tattoo artist was annoyed I kept telling him my stencils were crooked and not spaced apart correctly on my chest. Tattoo still came out crooked and not spaced out evenly even after I asked Him to redo the stencil placement three times.

Got my largest tattoo here about 6 months ago. Never had an issue scheduling an appointment or describing my idea to get what I wanted. Line work turned out great and solid. If you dont want to pay the price for good work then go somewhere else. It was one hundred percent worth it in my opinion. The building is older and yes, has chips in the ceiling, however I felt it added character and it wasnt like it was falling on my head. I really enjoyed checking out the architecture while getting my tattoo done. Cant wait to go back for more.

I’ve gone to Ink Assassins twice now. First time I got my daith pierced by MattyB. He talked me through the whole process and he did it so quickly I barely had time to feel it. Second time I went I got two tattoos by Jake. He did an amazing job on a coverup on my hip and another tattoo on my arm. The detail is just amazing and I am in love with my new tattoos. Very clean and comfortable environment and all of the guys are super nice and helpful. I already have another appointment lined up. Definitely recommend for piercings and/or tattoos.

I got an impulsive nose piercing at Ink Assassins while on senior trip and I couldn’t be more happy with my choice! The service was excellent, my piercer was friendly, and I am very content with the outcome. The entire facility was extremely cleanly and welcoming. Shoutout to the long haired man behind the counter and the bespectacled piercer who fulfilled my first-time piercing dreams.

I was here in August of 2017 and got a tattoo on the top of my foot and it turned out amazing! I highly recommend Teddy Rex, he was the one who did it. Even with how often I was in either the bath or even pools and hot tubs it still looks great. I havent heard too many good things about some of the other artist, my friend went the same day and got one on the side of her foot, which was a poor placement on her part, but its almost completely gone, I cant remember who did hers though. So as long as you get Teddy to do your tattoo youll be golden! Also for how big it is, very well priced.

Never had a single problem with and/or at this place. From my experience, the staff working here are quite honest and frankly have a calming sense of humor. EMS normally does my tattoos and I never feel overcharged or over whelmed. From what Ive witness from other artists works on my friends, Thorns and Jake Miller are also talented. I would recommend this place to anyone. Keep in mind, my experience is with the tattoo artists only. I have never received a piercing at Ink Assassins.

Just left Ink Assassins a very happy customer! David did my tattoo, and Teddy did my husbands. They are everything we wanted them to be! Everyone was very professional and nice, we didnt have appointments but were done in about an hour. I highly recommend for your next tattoo!

This place is trash. My husband, mother and I went in for tattoos. It was my mothers first time getting a tattoo and Tony had the WORST customer service we have ever experienced. My mother was nervous and Tony did nothing to reassure her even when she asked his opinion and eventually even got a little frustrated with her (all before he even started tattooing her). Thankfully our tattoos turned out okay but my husband wasnt so lucky. We all get done and leave the tattoo parlor and my husband notices that an entire line in his tattoo is missing so we call the shop and ask for David (the artist who did my husbands tattoo) and are told that David went home. My husband continues to explain the problem and the guy on the other end of the line tells him that no, no one here can fix it and David wont be in again until Saturday. My husband asked no one can fix a line real quick to which he replied nope I cant do that. Okay bye. A couple minutes later DAVID calls back and tells my husband to come back in. We went back to the shop where David continued to argue that the tattoo is fine and found every reason why what he did was right. Overall horrible customer service, overpriced, and crappy artists. What a joke. Never again.

Took my daughter there for a belly button piercing the guy was very understanding that it was her first he made her feel super comfortable and he was very easy to get along with i would recommend taking any first timer there its a very clean place as well they get an A+ in my book

I was extremely upset and had an issue with only one artist, who was very unprofessional , I paid for 2 tattoos sitting fees. Then he told me he could not do what I was asking for. The art work was just traced from a picture that I sent him with all the flaws and was not altered the way we asked. Then I was charged for art work he didnt do. I went to Buddhas who was extremely professional was very patient and understanding to what were looking for. My son got an amazing tattoo from Rob that my son and my family are extremely proud of.

Went in for a small tattoo on my hip and told them what I want just for them to completely change the tattoo. He also missed a few spots and I had to get it retouched else where. I also got my nose pierced here and he made the hole too big for the stud he put in so it eventually fell completely through my nose and became severely infected. Will not be going back.

I got my second industrial pieced and the piecer took their time to measure the distance and angle of my first piecing to make my ears look symmetrical.

Got my first tattoo in honor of my wife who just passed away. It was done in Cyrillic Greek lettering and it came out perfectly. My thanks to the young man who did this for me. He made me very comfortable and at ease. Just in case youre wondering it says Susan is love .

Having gotten several tattoos here, and also having gotten many elsewhere, I can tell you that in my experience this place is a bit costly for what you are getting. Now obviously with something like a tattoo, the artist you choose matters. And the art you choose matters. And the combination of the two also matters. But as Ive said, Ive been here several times. So have my friends and colleagues. I always think the tattoos are okay, but not great, and I always gasp when I hear the price. I can tell you that the last time I was there I paid $150 for something that would have totally been a shop minimum tattoo elsewhere. But, it was a Sunday and I wanted ink, so there you go. Still, its a clean establishment. I recommend them if you are a walk-in sort of customer and you want something now.

Please spare yourself and go to Sacred Piercing for your piercings and body mod. I went back to ink assassins 4 or 5 times and consulted both piercers trying to fix a mistake they made and never owned up to. In reality they were too inexperienced to fix the issue. Other than being very frustrated I now have scaring for life. Love and respect your body enough to never go to Matty B.

My first tattoo at age 50,Teddy Rex was awesome, for someone being as young as he his, he is very talented. He had my idea of a tattoo drawn out in about 20 mins. I had to laugh when he said it was a classic tattoo, and when his colleague came in and said the same thing. The Customer service was fantastic, and the way they take care in every process was awesome. 5 thumbs up for this place. If i decide to get another tattoo, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!!!!!!Thanks again guys Job Well Done.

Worst first experience I could be asked for. Not even sure of the name of the guy because I was never told. Dug up my arm so bad it was bleeding for 12 hours while my friend (who got the same tattoo in the same place by a different guy, who was very nice) was fine shortly after. I took care of it exactly how I was told to, by the card given to me with care instructions. Lines are very crooked, its extremely faded, and some spots arent even filled in at all. For a tattoo smaller than a credit card, consisting of 2 letters, I really expected a better experience.

Just got my nose pierced by Jordy. It was a really relaxed environment and Jordy was informative, quick, nice, and super patient when my card was was an issue. They followed all COVID guidelines and it was super clean. Definitely recommend it. :)

I’m sure they do good work. But I’m highly dissapointes in them.. I was charged 150$ to make a single line around my ankle and three small (1 1/2 inch) simple flourish designs below the single line.. wish I could post the picture, because anyone would agree I was over charged. The tattoo it only took 20 minutes! And I had made the appointment in advance! I won’t be going to them again. I have a lot of tattoos, some of which were 100$ per hour. So I know this was an overcharge. Other places will give you great quality work, for fair rates, Ink Assisns is not one of them. If you’re a local Erie-ite, you probably already know this lol I’ve never talked to a single person who had good things to say.

Got my first tattoo there 8 years ago. Friendly folks, good music and relaxing but my tat is raised which I dont personally mind. However, Ive been told its technically scarred which is not proper tattooing technique.

Mean, rude, careless... I regretted getting the tattoo the minute he was done. Tony has no emotional intelligence. Tony had no interest in discussing the details of my tattoo and/or addressing any of my questions or concerns. Lastly, I scheduled an online appointment with another person, but was told only Tony was available. I strongly recommend that NOBODY wastes their time with Tony. I truly wish I had walked out.

Worst experience ever I went to get dermals done and the piercer matt decided to do them crooked and thought it was funny after they will never get my services again highly upset and I had to take them out ! How unprofessional

They did a great job with my daughter when I took her to get her bellybutton pierced. Very clean facility and great job explaining the procedure and aftercare to her.

I am not impressed with this place at all!! im actually very unhappy. the guy who did my tattoo was extremely rude and would ignore anything that we asked him. also very expensive and shouldnt be considering the fact ive taken excellent care of my tattoo following everything im supposed to do and not supposed to and part of my tattoo just completely faded off. ive had one other tattoo before done about a year ago (not at ink assasins)and it is in perfect condition , so its not even like i didnt know what to do. i will not be going here ever again or recommending to anyone.

I went in to have my Prince albert pierced and i have to say it was the worst experience I have ever had being pierced by a professional. for starters Matty did not walk me through the piercing process, the reciving tube was over sized and he jammed it into my urethra forcefully, with no lube. I had no choice in gauge, jewlery, or placement. He actually pierced me on a different spot then where he marked. The piercing was way off center and less then a 1/4 inch from the opening on my urethra. The jewlery he placed in the piercing was a 1.25 inch bent barbell. Not only is a bent barbell the wrong starter jewlery it was about 3/4 of an inch too long. Because of the placement and jewlery I had to take it out. I did some research and repierced it myself.... properly. Matty is Unprofessional, uneducated, and not fit to be piercing professionally.

My daughter got her tattoo here. She got it to cover several scares The art work is amazing. The staff is very professional, my wife and will be returning for tattoos we will be getting in the future.

Made an appointment a month ago walked in today (my birthday) and was told I could not get it because the guy was not there to do it. I was not called in advice my time was waisted. Not Impressed with the staff only good for piercings.

I didn’t have an appointment because it was an emergency but they were very quick and very good at re-piercing my nose! I only waited for about 20 minutes

Me and my wife went in to get piercings. Took less than 20 mins to get both my wifes septum and for me to get snakebites. Guy was amazing at it Id highly recommend this shop for piercings.

Did not feel comfortable or welcomed there. They werent understanding my vision of what I wanted and talked down to me for it. Sorry I dont want something a million other people have.Clean place though and good prices. Ill give them that. I chose not to get ink there, so cant review that.

Went there to have ears being prie everything was in sterile packages they use a needle and not the gun. So you know that the equipment was actually sterile. Ive been to other place and had my ears pierced and the used the gun and my ears got infected. This the third time for my ears. Two were by the gun and got infected.

I got my septum done here today, and Matt was honestly amazing! It was a quick and i was surprised at how it only hurt for a few seconds. Thank you Matt!

Jordy was professional and I felt very relaxed in an atmosphere where there isnt fake cha-cha. A place where tattoo and piercing junkies will feel right at home. Cant recommend enough!

This was my first time going to Ink Assassins for anything and I honestly love it. Having it as my first facial piercing too, the piercer explained what each piece did and how hed do it. Really great service

This place is one of the best places to get a tattoo in my opinion. Make sure you get there early or make an appointment because they get busy really quick. I would definitely recommend this shop to anybody looking to get some ink done. I know I will be back.

Place sucks. looks clean but look up at the ceiling,plaster is falling.sorry 1)its not a way to have sterile environment. not friendly at all. in 15 yrs iv never had a captive bead come out and i have 9. dont no why i went back cuz first time he was hurting just putting the ball on,this time it fell out 4 days later while i was sleeping. then they said i could pay to have it put back..NO THANK YOU

I went there with my sister a couple days ago for my 18th birthday. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and they were very friendly. I had an idea of what I wanted and they helped me out alot with it and where to get it at. I highly recommended this place. They did an amazing job. Ill sure be back soon!

Got an intimate piercing here. Piercer was cold and unkind, barely spoke to me and then pierced my nipple so completely wrong, it had to be removed.

Went here twice. Uneven piercings both times. Don’t even waste your time. Book an appointment at Sacred Piercing instead.

Got my first few unique piercings done here but the prices are a bit much and the amount that they charge for tattoos is extravagant.

THIS PLACE IS A JOKE. STRAIGHT TOOK MY DEPOSIT ON A TATTOO BECAUSE I GOT IN A CAR ACCIDENT AND WAS IN THE HOSPITAL SO I COULDNT MAKE IT. NOR WOULD THEY EVEN LET ME RESCHEDULE WITHOUT A NEW DEPOSIT THEY ARE HEARTLESS MONEY HUNGRY SICK PEOPLE. THEY THOUGHT IT WAS FUNNY TO TAKE MY MONEY. OVERPRICED TATTOOS AND A UNWELCOMING ENVIORMENT. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEM TO NOBODY.

Very organized and confident in what they do. The displayed art is awesome and the guys are easy to talk to and they help you get the look you want.

I feel I was over charged for a nose ring 55. Was steep! I coulda of gotten a tattoo for that price....and its COVID 19
