My daughter Dani wanted to get her ears pierced for her sixth birthday. She loved Michael so much. He was great with her!!

I took my teen to get her ears pierced for the first time. She was nervous and Arielle completely put her at ease. My daughter made the appointment and said the guy there (forget his name) was very helpful and nice, explaining the process and what we needed since she’s a minor. I had to bring her sisters with and was worried how they would feel about it but they were incredibly welcoming! There was a sterilizing process of her jewelry that I can’t explain why it was needed but it took longer than expected. Arielle had her come back out of the piercing room to calm her nerves while we waited. They offered to do both lobes at the same time since we waited so long and while prepping, they were joking and talking with her. Pictures say it all! Thank you, Arielle, for chatting up all 4 of us, answering all the questions, and taking such good care of my girl!

The best piercing experience hands down. The experience of the staff and the quality jewelry offered makes this the place to go for all your piercings. Took my timid and scared 9yr old daughter to have her ear looked at and ultimately re-pierced after the one from Claire’s never healed (6 months prior). They treated her with friendliness and respect. Very impressed with both the man and woman who worked there. My daughter was so encouraged and excited by the time she left.I was so impressed that I ended up getting my own second ear piercing.Both my daughter and I haven’t had a single issue with our ears. Top quality 👍🏻 all metals are surgical grade.I was worried it would be a very different, very grungy body art parlor when I went looking for a professional but thankfully this place is clean, neat and family-friendly.

We had our daughters ears pierced by Arielle who was super friendly and put my daughter at ease, Michael was incredibly knowledgeable and gave us a generous amount of information regarding modern-day piercing. They are clearly passionate about what they do!

They are amazing. My daughter got an eyebrow piercing that we didnt have any issues for 2 months. Suddenly, she started developing a lump nearby that I wasnt sure was related. I reached out to the owner of the shop, Michael, and he took such good care of my daughter. We visited him so that he could assess the lump and drained it. He texted for several days, following up to make sure she continued to heal. He was just incredibly attentive and helpful and this mama bear was so grateful to have his help and guidance. ❤️

My seven year old daughter wanted to get her ears pierced so I decided to bring her here rather than Claire’s. It was definitely the right decision. Michael was very professional, personable, and you could tell that he really cares about delivering quality service. We are very happy with the results and my daughter hasn’t stopped talking about her new earrings.

Michael was phenomenal with my almost 5 year old! He was very kind and patient with my nervous but brave little girl. Hands down would recommend him and his staff and will go to him for an future piercing needs.

I havent had many experiences with getting piercings or whatnot, but Michael helped greatly when it came to my own comfort. He made the entire thing feel very casual and yet had a strong sense of formality and professionalism when needed, both calming my nerves and making me feel very safe during the process. Very cool!

Came in to get my jewelry updated after getting the piercings done at a different shop back in December 2023. Not only was the shop clean and the staff professional, they had the expertise and tools to make me a custom bridle chain for my new nose studs. 10/10 experience and will recommend this shop for years to come.

Michael was very knowledgeable and professional and friendly. You can tell he is very passionate about what he does and has great experience and great stories to tell and entertain you. Very cool he sets jewelry as well! My sister and I found him online and went in I brought my four year old with me and it went great! The piercers are awesome, professional and super friendly! Right when we walked in (they took 3 of us back to back), they made us feel comfortable like we had been coming into their shop regularly for years. They are extremely knowledgeable about what works best for your anatomy, take the time to help you find the jewelry that fits you best (they have gorgeous jewelry as well) and are awesome about aftercare and any questions you may have! Michael pierced my septum and nostril 2 weeks ago. I could tell he is very passionate about his craft, as he took extra care and time to ensure the angles were perfect and even through the septum. I really appreciated that. The staff really goes the extra mile to ensure everything is clean and sterile.I had such a great experience, I decided to go back just for jewelry. I know I could probably find it somewhere online, but I love supporting great local businesses.Naomi is a gem! She has been extremely kind and welcoming and always knows exactly how to help. Earlier this week, I went in for a jewelry change and had to wait for quite a while (no big deal as I wasnt in a hurry.) but during the wait, I saw her pierce 2 women and 2 girls and she was totally professional, comforting & warm to the children. She was the only employee in the shop that day and handled all the pressure of a jam-packed waiting room and the ringing phone better than I could have!Youre all awesome and Ill be sending people your way!

I read through all the reviews and was glad to say that I wasnt disappointed. Took my 12 yr old to re-pierce her ears. The backs kept getting infected last time she had it done a few years ago at Claires in the mall so, after much begging from my daughter, we decided to try it again with a professional piercer this time. Z did a great job and was very through explaining and demonstrating his sterilization and safe handling practices. Quick and painless. Followed up a month later so they could check the healing and happily met the owner, Michael this time as well. He addressed a small issue she was having and gave her recommendations. Both interactions with Z and Michael were excellent. They are very cool and kind and did an excellent job making my daughter and I feel comfortable and confident. I would definitely recommend them.

He made sure that she knew that it was entirely her choice with no pressure. He talked us through everything before hand and made sure that she felt comfortable and involved.Aside from the vibe being amazing, he is also very professional and great at what he does. Ive personally had many piercings and I was very impressed.The piercings were completed quickly and with minimum pain (he even gave her some time in between and waited till she was ready to do the other side!)The piercings are great and look perfect, but more importantly, my daughter is so happy with them and she had a great first piercing experience.As a mother, I was especially thankful that she was treated with so much kindness, respect and care from the moment she walked in, till she left.I would 100% recommend them!Ill definitely be back for my own piercings in the future!

One of the best piercing experiences I’ve ever had. I spoke in the phone with Michael super last minute and was able to walk in as well as have a talk in what to expect with the piercing process, the healing process and future options and questions I may have. They have a multiple choices of high quality jewelry that you can choose from. They are all super personable and want to make sure you have a comfortable appointment/walk in. I walked out with two beautiful conch piercings and the biggest smile ever.

I came in to exchange some jewelry I had in a forward helix and Michael was really welcoming and just overall had great energy. The shop is super clean and they offer really high quality jewelry so the higher price point is very reasonable for such great quality work. I will definitely be returning for my next piercing.

Best experience I have ever had at a piercing shop! From the moment we walked into the door, we were greeted by the amazing staff. And by the time we left, pierced and satisfied, we felt like we had connected with each staff member; building that customer connection with us. We also left the shop more educated on piercings. I contacted a few places looking for a butterfly stud and most tattoo shops only had the most basic jewelry. This place had the cutest studs and jewels to choose from and were all superior quality. I chose the 14k Gold Butterfly for my nose piercing and absolutely love it. My first visit was so comfortable and extremely sanitary. I will be coming back and referring my friends to this spot.

I WANT EVERYONE OUT THERE TO KNOW THAT IS THE PLACE TO GO FOR PIERCINGS!!! I came here today to check out the jewelry and possibly get my nose pierced. After speaking with both Michael and Arielle and discussing jewelry types for my nose piercing, I felt so comfortable and confident I was in the right place. They were both so knowledgeable and really helped me figure out what I wanted. The jewelry at this place is unique and beautiful. I even discussed the possibility of having a custom piece made. Arielle was the person who did my piercing and she was AMAZING!!! She was quick and there was really no pain!! If 10 stars was an option I would have given it to them. I have never experienced anything like this place. The care and thought that was put into helping me pick the perfect piece of jewelry for my new piercing was out of this world. Not to mention that the piercing itself was done so well and pain free. I even had an old piercing (1 year old) that I was struggling with and Michael helped me understand why it was a problem and explained to me a plan to get it fixed and healed properly. He again also helped me pick out a great piece of jewelry for this. One thing to note is that the pieces here are all hand selected and just beautiful. Its not like going to a tattoo parlor and getting a boring round silver stud or basic hoop. Nothing but the best from these people.

First of all customer service 10/10! I have come here twice, first for a jewelry change and second for my 2nd nostril piercing! Naomi greeted me and she is SUPER nice and welcoming! Zero their new piercer did my nostril today and he was super attentive to how I was feeling throughout the whole process and made sure I was satisfied with how my jewelry looked on both sides! Will be coming back again for sure!!

A few weeks ago Micheal pierced my ear. I got a flat and helix piercing. The attention to detail is amazing! I wear glasses and he made sure that the frames and the back of the piercing wouldn’t collide with each other. Can’t wait to go back once they’re more healed. 🤩

Walked in with my friend who needed her lobes repierced and ended up getting a piercing for myself (double helix)! Micheal and Naomi made me feel so comfortable throughout the entire process, walking me through each an every step of the piercing. I’m generally super picky about the placement of my piercings, but Michael held no judgement of how long it took for me to be happy with the placement. The piercings were the easiest i’ve had done so far (8 previous piercings), and Micheal had this really awesome technique where he did both the helix piercings at the same time. The entire process was super simple, quick, generally painless, and was the best experience I’ve had at any piercing shop to date. Highly Recommend!!!

I went with my roomies. Two of us got our nipples pierced. Micheal was clearly knowledgeable and intentional. He took time to make sure we were educated and that our piercing would be what we wanted after healing. Also ladies, they were beautifully professional. No weirdness at all. Love this place!! Since COVID, I had quit wearing earrings and needed to get one ear re-pierced. It has been YEARS since I have gotten anything like this done and did not want to go to the mall. After reading the reviews, I decided to give this place a try.Michael was my piercer and he has to be the most patient person in the world. I had a gazillion questions because I am naturally curious. He gave me such a great overview, explained all of the sanitation procedures, professional certification, everything. Honestly, I could have sat with him for another couple hours just talking to him.When it came time for the actual piercing, he did a great communicating what was going to happen each step of the way. When it came time for piercing, he fast and calm. It went by quickly.Their studio is super clean and nice. Really a good atmosphere. The selection of jewelry was really nice. Michael even had some of his work available.Planning on going back soon! Cannot recommend this studio enough.

This is the best piercing studio i have ever been to 😍Michael is a true artist, he is very professional, extremely kind, patient, and only uses high quality jewelry.i was lucky to have found them on Google maps and spoke with Michael on the phone and knew right away that thats the place i wanna get my piercing at. He was super nice and extremely knowledgeable. I called with a question about the dermal piercing i already had on my cheekbone from 17 years ago, i wanted to change the diamond but wasn’t sure if i could change it. He kindly explained every little detail and process and its risks, and said that he will do his best to help me. I went there and got my piercing changed even though im sure it was very difficult for any artist to do it. I also got three beautiful Collarbone dermals that i really really love 🥰 i went there after hearing good news from my oncologist to give myself a gift for beating C 😤 and received the best VIP service from michael and his co-worker 🥹 it was a day that i will remember and cherish for the rest of my life because of their kindness. Thanks a lot Michael 🙏🏻 you’re the best.

I went with my friend to go get his ears pierced and ended up getting another of my own. 10/10 experience, this will now be where I go for all future piercings!! The staff is so friendly and passionate about what they do! This was my 6th piercing and by far my favorite experience! All the jewelry is high quality and absolutely adorable!!

Had my helix pierced here yesterday, the piercing area was very clean and sterile- piercer and apprentice were welcoming and helpful with selecting jewelry. The piercer also kindly thought ahead to what type of jewelry I would want to wear after the piercing heals to determine the best placement for the piercing. A little expensive compared to other shops I have been pierced at, but overall a positive experience.

Michael was very knowledgeable about piercings and the type of steel or thread that should go into a lip piercing. i had got my lip already pierced that day but he repierced it for basically free very very nice guy. If you need anything pierced he is definitely the one to go to very quick and painless.

I have a flat piercing and a double helix piercing that were pierced 4 months ago at different locations. They didn’t seem to be healing right so I went to see Michael today. I had been following him on IG for awhile and knew his work fixing problematic piercings. He diagnosed my issues, fixed my setup and reassured me that we could correct it. I was so impressed by his level of expertise and his overall willingness to help fix me up. Ariel assisted and she was simply delightful. I’ve been pierced in many different shops over the years and this was by far my favorite experience - I wish they would have pierced me in the first place. They are moving locations soon. Took my daughter (13) to have her ears pierced for the first time. The lady was extremely patient, explained everything thoroughly and very sanitary. I would not hesitate to come back for any piercing needs!

Peirced my daughters ears for the first time, made her feel very comfortable, a few tears were shed but dried quickly when she saw the result looked great. Very clean work space, autoclave is used on all equipment to sterilize, gloves and washed hands, super friendly staff.

I got my belly button pierced here and it was the best experience Ive ever had at a parlor. The individuals at the front were very welcoming and Michael and Ariel were so sweet and comforting while I was getting pierced. Definitely an amazing experiencing and will be a customer again.

I love my new ear piercings that I got by Michael. I got my conch and helix pierced both with high quality grade jewelry that look so cute 💖 Everything was very clean, pain free and once the swelling went down he helped fixed the irritation problem I had with my hair getting caught pretty quick. We had a pleasant experience getting our ears and nose pierced and the people were very personable. Not only did they talk us through the process but they also made the piercings stress free. I got my first piercings with a needle here and both the piercers were understanding and helped calm down my pre-piercing nerves. The shop was clean, comfortable and had a welcoming environment. Puncture Theory body piercing’s, is definitely my go to piercing place, by far the best place in San Diego to get a piercing.

I went in because I was having issues with my piercing which I got changed somewhere else and the person that help me informed me that my piercing wasn’t ready to be change that’s why is was swollen and had a bump on it. He changed it and by the end of the day the swelling went down. He was very helpful and informative thank you.

Very unprofessional and careless. I made appointment for my sister, my daughter and myself few days ago and went there all the way from Mira Mesa. When I arrived their shop was closed and I called over ten times, messaged them, left voice messages but no response. I would never used such person to do piercing for me or my family members who doesn’t care to cancel an appointment so the customer doesn’t waste time and gas and even doesn’t care to respond to calls, messages and voicemails. It shows the amount of care they have for their customers.
