Grand Legacy Tattoo

Came in here with a group of 6 on a bachelorette trip, they got us in right away and gave us all exactly what we wanted! The line work was fantastic for each of of us! I couldn’t be happier with the way mine turned out specifically. The artists were fun, professional, fast, personable, and so talented. If I’m ever back in the area I would absolutely love to get another piece done!

Stevie is AMAZING. He does many tattoo styles and is really good at making your ideas come to life. Just had a coverup done by him, and you can’t even tell.

I got this tattoo with Tristen and am beyond words for how well he did. I would recommend this shop and specifically him any day. It was such great experience, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I’ve been looking for the tattoo artist for me. When my friend suggested this place with how good her tattoos look I could not wait. Not only are the tattoos more than beautiful but also extremely good prices. Looking forward to coming back!

Accessibility: there are wheelchair accessible parking spots directly in front of the building with flat ground going into the building.Experience: my 70 year old mom got her ears pierced here by Ollie. She was nervous, but it went well. Regular ear piercings with titanium earrings cost $100. We will come back if we need any more.

Went here about a month ago to get a fairly big tattoo. The tattoo came out great and the people who work here were all very nice. Thankfully lots to look at and a tv with movies playing so you dont get bored while you sit for 8 hours. Would highly recommend going here.

The piercer shannon is so quick and the sweetest ever 100/100 best piercer ive been to . she did my belly piercing and it was in and out super easy didnt hurt one bit either.

Stevie is the literal best. I’ve unfortunately been thru a few tattoo artists and not only has Stevie designed the most beautiful pieces I could have imagined, but he has fixed the ones I wasn’t happy with. I’m not great at envisioning what I want ahead of time and Stevie is the best to go to and just let his imagination do the work. He includes the elements important to me and then blows me away with the rest! The shop is always clean and everyone in there is professional and oozing with talent. I tell everyone I talk to to go to Grand Legacy. You won’t be disappointed.

Theyre all amazing but Lorenzos my guy! Super talented. Trust him a lot. He is done almost all of my tattoos and has always given them his personal touch. They come out amazing and is always a joy to work with. I will always trust him for future tattoos. 10/10 recommend grand legacy.

I’ve been to a few tattoo shops, and this one by far really made me comfortable! I really wanted to get a septum piercing after another piercer told me it wasn’t possible. Areal did my septum so easily. I thought the septum was going to hurt, but it didn’t. I also have a lot of anxiety when going to new places/artists but I wanted to get out of my bubble and try something new :) I left very happy with the piercing service, but as well as the environment provided there. I was treated with upmost respect, and that I was welcomed. I believe I also met Shannon, and she was one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. Thank you everyone!

Went in to get a piercing downsized. Friendly staff, amazing piercer! Everyone was very professional and helpful and answered all of my questions. Clean shop, very chill environment. I liked the piercer so much that I bought my daughter in that same day for her second ear piercing!

Thursday afternoon I did a walk in and was able to consult with an artist immediately and only had a two hour wait til I was in the chair. Doug was my artist and he was very professional and made the whole experience great. We enjoyed Grand Legacy so much the my husband returned this weekend to get his tattoo done as well. Again we were able to walk in and consult with an artist and he was in the chair immediately and Henry gave him this awesome Halloween piece. We were extremely pleased with the staff again this visit and we will be visiting again for all our tattoo needs.

Absolutely recommend! My boyfriend and I went to breakfast and saw this place next door and decided to stop in. We told them our ideas and they were super excited to do them and were very welcoming and kind the entire time! We both love the work and definitely will be back.

Always felt very welcome walking into this shop. Areal did my dimple piercing and she’s amazing and she did an amazing job!! She also made sure to follow up with me and ask any questions I needed answered about aftercare. Henry did an amazing job with both tattoos. Absolutely love my rhino tattoo. He fixed the butterfly that was 19 yrs old and it looks incredible! Will def be back to see him again.

I haven’t gotten a tattoo in quite some time, and wanted something on my left arm, since my right arm has some work.I told Stevie I liked the symbolism of the Phoenix, and that I wanted something black and white but not too “masculine”. He drew up the perfect design!Stevie is super cool! He was super easy to talk to through this long session and did an amazing job!

My brother and I walked in to get tattoos. Lorenzo was able to work on us. Mine was simple, but his lines were super clean and perfect. My brother’s idea needed a little artist work. But he did a great job in making it spectacular.

I haven’t received any services here personally but the piercer, Arielle I’m very familiar with.I have been an instructor at piercing conferences, apprenticed 5 successful piercing specialists and have trained numerous piercers and shops owners globally. In my (almost) 20 years experience piercing and building studios Arielle stands out to me specifically for her customer service. While she claims Daith piercings are her thing, I firmly believe she shows remarkable talent for septum piercings.She’s a talented piercer and I would recommend her for anybody with a deviated or otherwise complicated septum piercing without question.

Google says theyre open their hours of operation on their door says they should be open and they are closed today.Ariel and Shannon were amazing, super friendly girls. I go to this place for all my piercings and while both piercers are kind and considerate people, Ollie is an especially sweet guy. He really went the extra mile to make sure I was safe and satisfied whenever I had any complications with the piercings I received from him. I had such a pleasant experience with him every time I went to see him. Totally recommend him!

Great place! Ive taken my daughter here twice for piercings and we are super happy with how they both turned out. The staff is always nice and even when they are busy there is someone there to answer questions or help set-up and appointment. A few things we look at when checking a place out for piercings and/or tattoos, cleanliness, overall reviews, and whether or not the staff is friendly. Some places have brushed us off and when I am looking for something permanent on my body that is not the type of place I want. That is not the case with Grand Legacy though. Every time weve interacted with the entire staff they have always been great. The piercer is a super nice guy as well. One if the best local places to check out if you are in the market for something new.

Matt did the most incredible job on my snow leopard! I got this piece to represent my first research project for wildlife conservation that I have been working on this summer, here in San Diego. I’ve been working towards this career goal for years now, and the tattoo means a lot to me. Matt brought my vision to life and did a more beautiful job than I could have imagined. He also provided an all-around wonderful experience while I got the tattoo. I would recommend this shop, and this artist specifically, to anyone and everyone!!! I hope to come back for another one some day!

Got a septum piercing about a week and a half ago from Ollie! He definitely knows his way with piercings and was very helpful in his instruction on how to properly take care of my new piercing. Since then, my piercing is healing up well and I’ve gotten many compliments. Thank you so much!

I got an eyebrow piercing there and was not a fan. I had called the store early in the day and asked about the cost of an eyebrow piercing, they told me it was $40 and that was the whole conversation. I then went to the store and they told me an appointment was needed but unfortunately had not mentioned that over the phone. I wasn’t to excited about having to go back but I didn’t mind. I go back for my appointment and the employees and the customer inside weren’t wearing a mask (the piercer told me they were pretty much over the masks and it was optional). I should’ve left then but I’m vaccinated and went with it. The one part that I liked was the private room in the back. The piercer grabbed the jewelry without gloves on and only put some on as the piercing was done. He grabbed the jewelry out of a large tray, not wrapped in plastic which I should have taken a a red flag. Was nice and gave me the choice of the size of the metal balls of the piercing. When he drew the marking on it looked great but once I was in the car I notice the piercing is too low on my eyebrow and the top is pretty much on the hair. Concerning because he told me he had been piercing since 2003. He also recommended cleaning with antibacterial soap, when you should be using a saline rinse. All in all I will most likely be removing my piercing at one point :/

Grand legacy is a great shop all the employees are very friendly, it is very clean and Doug was amazing he made me feel comfortable the entire time and his art work was amazing I’m so happy with my tattoo and can’t wait to see it all healed up! Thank you!!

I got my piercings with Ollie. I was afraid of the whole process but he reassured me and made me feel comfortable. He guided me with breathing techniques, which helped ease the pain of the needle. Now the after care has been great! No sign of infection. No redness. No soreness. No pain. I am really happy with the results. Thank you Ollie!

I got my tongue and second nose piercing done by a piercer named Ricky. He did such an amazing job at making me feel comfortable and walked me through the whole process. Ive been here three times once with a friend and twice to get tattoos of my own. and every time it has been absolutely fantastic experience. I have quite a few tattoos from quite a few different shops and most of the time you can expect the normal level of rudeness and drama, but I have never had that experience at fatkid. Every one of those tattoo artists is not only talented but also friendly and helpful. The whole shop is always laughing and theyre really attentive to everything that you need as well as things that you want, but also knowledgeable enough to help you create a tattoo thats going to look fantastic in that youre going to be happy with.They price incredibly fairly, I was happy to actually pay more for what I got considering how fantastic it actually is. So make sure to always tip your artist. So piercings or tattoos honestly theres not many tattoo shops in the San Diego area that are as good as fatkid. I plan on going there much more consistently for any work that I want done.

Stevie did my Tattoo. Im 63, this was my first ever Tattoo, this was on my bucket list. Yes it hurt alittle but was just an awesome experience. I have a very unique ladybug design on mywrist and the peace sign behind one ear and another ladybug behind my other ear. Stevie was so awesome and made me feel so comfortable. Um...maybe I will get another one...Thank you so much Stevie! I love all 3 of them!!

Walked in for a small tattoo the size of a quarter and then charged me the shop minimum($80) which only took 15mins. Had the guy mentioned the amount before he started i would have got something else. Just a heads up for anyone going. Good work but i wont be returning.

Was referred to Stevie by a friend about two years ago. Since then he has almost completed a sleeve, and has retouched some of my other work. His ability to listen to what you want, and freehand your dream is a rare talent. I strongly recommend contacting Stevie and having him do your work. He is a natural talent, and well worth the money you spend. His work is so good he could charge double or triple. If you want cheap crap stencil work, go see your friends friend with a tattoo kit in his kitchen. If you want an impeccable original art piece, set up an appointment with Stevie.
