Black Sheep Custom Tattoos and Piercings

I went here based on a co workers recommendation. I haven’t gotten a tattoo in a while and I have been wanting to do a cover up of my tigers. I originally got it to be something to remind me of how strong yet playful and silly my kids are and as grown as they are now it just felt like the right time to finally cover it up. And DRAVEN did not disappoint. He did amazing. And he does a great job. There are many other artists there available for drop ins and appt depending on your style. But this place is awesome. They are clean and keep the atmosphere great. I will be back for more !

JC was awesome! He made my daughter feel comfortable and even had her laughing while she was getting her ears pierced. Were ready for tattoos now!! Ill definitely will be back!

I highly recommend this parlor! I walked in and was able to make an appointment so easily. They are so helpful and professional! I was in for a cover up and Dylan did absolutely beautifully! Totally worked with me and got me exactly what I was looking for! Plus he’s got a very gentle hand and that really makes a difference when you’re tattooing over the wrists! Called and spoke to someone about my wife a d I coming in for Bday Tattoos and was told to send info on Tatts through Messenger. Well I did this and as the messages were seen as read I was not responded too. So we chose to go to Nostalgia Ink and had an amazing experience. I mean if you are booked or busy a quick response is not that hard.

Took my daughter get her navel piercing today. The owner pierced it and he done a great job. He walked her through it and he was done before she even had time to say ow lol. 100% recommend for all piercing or tattoos

Took my 7 year old daughter here today to FINALLY get her ears pierced after her consistently asking all week! I cannot say enough good things! We walked in, sat for maybe 2 min and was greeted by JC , filled out two forms and he took us back to get started. He explained everything in detail as he was doing it. There were no surprises, she felt comfortable and never shed one tear!!! AMAZING ! He was also extremely thorough on after care instructions and was super nice! 10/10 would recommend this place!

After 3 years of continually visiting this shop for various different piercings and tattoos I can say that the shop owner always makes it such a welcoming experience. He’s constantly making improvements and listening to his clients. He does all the piercings and he’s so precise!! Everything from nipples to navels :) all heals well and the aftercare instructions are the best!! Not to mention the vibe of this shop is one of the best I’ve been in! Quirky but so comforting!! My home tattoo shop for life :) prices are so fair especially for the amazing art they put out!! Can’t wait to go back!!

Jc pierced me and my friends navel (belly buttons) and did an amazing job!!! The place was very clean and was a very nice environment. Came here for my daughters first ear piercing and so glad we did. The atmosphere was really cool and kept the kids entertained while we waited. Everything was super clean as well. Phenomenal place! Brought my teenage daughter to have her ears pierced and she was so nervous. JC was amazing! He walked her through exactly what he was doing, told her what to expect, and had the earring in before she even knew he had put the needle through. Me and my friend were in and out of there in exactly one hour after receiving one small tattoo that looks perfect and one helix piercing that also turned out perfect. The staff here is so kind and patient with all of their customers, making sure the tattoo or piercing they’re receiving is exactly what they want it to look like. Their prices are also very fair and reasonable for such experienced artists. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a tattoo shop in Gulf Shores or Foley, I will definitely go back if I’m ever in the area.

Went and got my septum pierced here by JC and I was so satisfied with his work! He is absolutely amazing! He goes through step by step of everything he is going to do! Any move he makes he will tell you! 1000% recommend him. He’s absolutely amazing!! Will definitely be going back!

Do not patronize this establishment. When we walked in there was an employee standing out front smoking and she did not speak. Then we sat inside for 15 minutes without acknowledgment. More than one employee looked at us sitting on the couch. This is not only rude but unprofessional.

If you need a tattoo and youre in the Foley area, Dylan at Black Sheep is your guy. Came in as a walk-in wanting matching tiny stars with my mother in law and he made it such a fun experience and he was very gentle, professional, and clearly experienced. He offered his professional opinion on placement and gave us exactly what we wanted at the same time. Very thoroughly pleased and would do again! (ignore the peeled dermashield, user error not theirs 😂)

Girls trip to Foley and we wanted some piercings. We looked up reviews and this place had some great reviews. We decided to go here and it was the best choice! Loved the atmosphere and the piercer/owner was fabulous!!

I went in today for a nose piercing the guy came out very quick and served us. Told us the piercer was on his way and super close, had us sign papers so we were ready to go. JC the piercer was very nice and understanding. Very social and explained everything he did, told me how to clean it and everything. Definitely deserves 5 stars. Absolutely wonderful experience! Pricing for our two piercings was very reasonable and the guy who did them was extremely nice. My sister and I decided to get Tragus and Daith piercings while here on vacation and as soon as we walked in the door I had a feeling we were a green light (my sister doesn’t do well with needles and such). Gentleman that pierced us was very informative and made me feel like he was an old friend. The piercings themselves look awesome and are placed in perfect spots! I’ve never had a better experience in a tattoo/piercing shop... super friendly, nice guy full of knowledge about care and his practice. Very clean and sterile too! Gave us tons of info about aftercare and made sure we understood everything during the process. My husband and I both have came here for multiple tattoos and we will be back here for more. Got my daughter a septum piercing for her 16th birthday present.The piercing technician (I dont know what the actual job title is) was very clean, professional, and sterile. I work in healthcare and have witnessed many sterile invasive procedures. He could teach some physicians some lessons about bedside manner, for sure.Excellent work! I would not hesitate to recommend them for anyone looking into piercings.

Here on vacation, wanted to get a piercing for my birthday. We called to ask about pricing, and asked if we needed an appointment and they said they took walk ins at any time. We drove 30 MINUTES to this place because of good reviews, and we get there and stood in the lobby for about 10 minutes before anyone helped us, despite apparent workers walking back in and out the door, clearly seeing us. When finally helped, he told us that his piercer was out “picking up his kids” even though Tuesday’s are discount piercing days. The guy told us to come back the next day when the piercer was back in. We called back the next day to make sure he was there, and the piercer was conveniently “getting foot surgery” and wouldn’t be in at all. He was terribly rude on the phone both days and in person. Very unprofessional and lost a lot of money considering a lot of girls were going to get pierced.

Awesome shop!! Very clean shop and amazing artists. Went in while on vacation with my hubby and had JC do our tattoos. They turned out to be our best tattoos thus far. And that’s saying something seeing as though this was my 15th tattoo. Our daughter also got her first tattoo by Bruce and it turned out great too. We are actually planning on driving from Georgia to get the rest of our tattoos done by them as well. To us it’s worth a 7 hour drive to have JC or Bruce do our tattoos. They are amazing!!!!

Expectations were beyond anything I imagined. I walked in with an idea and Leif made it come to life. I dont have the best luck with outta town ink but if Im ever in Alabama Ill be getting another piece of Liefs art on my body. This place is THE place to go. By far the cleanest, friendliest, and best pricing in Alabama. Other tattoo/piercing joints around the area will charge double, if not triple what black sheep does, and yet the quality in this joint is unmatched. JC is the man.Not even from Alabama, but will make the 10 hour drive the next time I need a tat. This is the joint you are looking for.

JC is a very knowledgeable piercing guy. Even helped me straighten out 6 piercings I had done at another shop in Daphne. Top notch guy, use him you wont regret it!

Absolutely love this place. One of the best parlors ive ever been to in the area. Employees are very professional, very good atmosphere. Keegan is a great artist. Just had a portion of a piece done by hik today, and I absolutely love it. Will definitely be back soon to finish up the rest of the piece.

First tattoo was great so I decided to come back and let Draven expand my tattoo. my tattoo ended up been uneven so had to make another appointment to fix it. Left work early to come to my #1 appointment get there and he tells me he overbooked so I had to wait another week. 2nd appointment he texted me to tell me hes car broke. I came back for the 3rd and last time, left work early Again to get there and JC come out and tell me that Draven had someone on the table if I could come back in two hours. I explained to JC that this was the 3rd time and saw my frustration and he did apologized and tried to offer me a free piercing next time I came for another tattoo.. Freaking ridiculous ...!! Never again worse experience ever.. !

Went in today to get a sick tattoo and they valued my needs and wishes. Also very respectful and great customer service! My tattoo turned out better than I could have imagined! Super happy! Would recommend to everyone!😊

I went to get my nose pierced and the guy who did it was super nice and super friendly and he was very detailed with everything and he walked me through the whole process even though I have already had that done before! Horrible customer service.Went to go see last week what the prices were, because Im trying to save up money to get a couple piercings done at once and know where the best place would be since Im in town visiting family for a bit, and the worker got mad because i didnt want to get a piercing that day. All I got was insulted; when the only thing that came out my mouth was I dont have the money right now. once told the pierces. I was not given a chance to speak or to defend myself. I just walked out.I dont know if the artist was in a bad mood or what. But my business is not going there.
