My sister n law came for a visit and we decided two days before she left to get matching tattoos. Brad was amazing, he worked with us on making our tattoos come together, he was very personable, he chatted the whole time with us and I have to say he is one of the most hygienic artists I have ever met. He is all about the safety of his clients. Thank you Victoria for directing us to him. It was the best night out of our whole visit.

Brad did an amazing job bringing the concept I had in my head into a reality. He listened to what I wanted and made a gorgeous piece of art. This was not my first tattoo but it is as much loved as my 1st that was done incredibly well by another talented artist at this shop.

We got two tattoos . Rude guy helped us, overpriced for the service received. They really didn’t want to help us. Smelled like weed which is fine with good service . lol. You would think a tattoo shop was more professional 😂😅

I came here about two years ago for a piece that lays on my arm and across my fingers. not only is the work uneven and sloppy, the lines are crazy thick and i have a decent amount of raised scar tissue from the artist. i had my first laser treatment today and am expecting to spend about $10,000 to get this off of me, not including the SURGICAL BIOPSY i will have to have to take care of the scar tissue caused by improper needle depth and machine work. Please don’t be like me and do your research before getting something permanently tattooed onto your skin.

I had Tony for my artist and he was absolutely amazing he was more than willing to work with the ideas that I had until I was completely satisfied he was so kind and gentle I could not ask for a better experience. My friends and I take a trip once a year for vacation, we started a tradition last year that we’d get a tattoo from every place we visit. This year we went to Alabama, and of course had to get a new tattoo. We googled several places and Next Level Ink had some very good reviews so that’s where we decided to go and very happy we did!! We all wanted a tat to say “Ohana” with an hibiscus flower. They paired me with Brad to do my tat and I must say he’s absolutely awesome!!! Very cool dude!! He did such an amazing job! Me and my family went down to orange beach for vacation 22’ and i had gotten my first tattoo done. we went down to Next Level Tattoo and had some amazing art work done by Tattoo Tony. I definitely recommend him for any beginners or your children. He’s very patient and will talk through it making sure your the most comfortable while doing the tattoos. i will definitely be going back to him for future art pieces

Ashlyn is hand downs the best tattoo artist in Foley (Gulf Shores)! The shop itself is full of lively, interactive artist! Never felt weird here! We came in from TN and got a total 9 tattoos and love all of them! They listened and accommodated all of our wants!!! Will never go anywhere else! We come here once a year and will definitely be back!!

I got a cover up of a name and my boyfriend got the parasite from Resident Evil 4. Ben went above and beyond. Everyone there was extremely nice. My daughter and I were referred to Next Level Tattoo for my daughter to get her belly button pierced. When we got there an employee was sitting outside and asked how could he help us? We told him why we were there and he pointed us to the fat, bald-headed man behind the counter. Baldy proceeded to ask me was my daughter a minor and that if she was he didnt do piercings on anyone under 16 because THEY DIDNT KNOW HOW TO ACT RIGHT. My daughter 100% knows how to act right, she does everyday. Next Level Tattoo not only showed what the meaning of bad business is but more importantly showed how ignorant and stereotypical the vibe of their shop is.

This place was great! For my daughters first experience, her first tattoo; Victoria made it so pleasant for us. She did an awesome job on my wrist Sea turtle and my daughters symbols. Highly recommend Victoria!

We came down for a trip from Memphis and heard from a local that Tattoo Tony was the best around and he was for sure! We got a couple tattoos each and Tony was awesome. He took the time to make sure it was exactly how we wanted, was patient, made us feel extremely comfortable, and was safe (which is so important.) We will be back!

Came down to Gulf Shores with the fam for a weekend vacation.Victoria was my artist and it was her first day at this shop. She was amazing. Everyone was friendly and prices was reasonable. Definitely worth it. Definitely will come back the next time we come back.

Unfortunately our visit today was less than ideal. My wife had communicated with Victoria who suggested she come in on Thursday afternoon. We show up at opening and after waiting 45 mins we were told she wouldnt be in until 4. If only that had been communicated beforehand we would have waited and come later. My wife has since made an appointment for her tattoo to be done in Charlotte NC while we are there next month. It should be known that everyone in the shop that we encountered was friendly and professional.

Had a 17 year old that I as the parent had to sign for and Tim did the tattoo and it was great . His work was beautiful and so fast .My problem was with the front desk girl and I wish I would have gotten her name and she also does tattoos . As I was helping my daughter explain what she wanted she pretty much said she could not do that. Once I told her that Tim was recommended she went outside to get him and I could tell by her body language she was mocking me when she told him what we were looking for .She then came back in and so did Tim and she was again almost felt like she was making fun again . It was so strange because we were all very nice . My daughter wanted just a simple dainty butterfly and the initials of one of her very good friends that passed away almost 2 years ago this month . Again Tim was so helpful and his work is beautiful and made us laugh several times . We aren’t sure what we did that offended the girl but she was not nice . I never leave reviews but hoping she sees this and doesn’t make anyone else feel that way !

This wasn’t my first time coming here and they still didn’t disappoint. They were completely honest with you whenever you show them where you want the tattoo and how you want it. They help you choose the best place to put it. Shout out to Benjamin for doing my tattoo. It turned out amazing!

Despite being late and missing our original appointment with one of the artist here (I cannot recall his name, but he wasnt very friendly when we made the appointment 😅)A very sweet individual named Tony took me and my partner in immediately and at a low price for each piece.This was my first tattoo and I was very nervous about the artist being mean or the tattoo being painful, but he walked me through the entire process and was nothing but kind and funny to us. I couldnt have asked for a better person to do the job.The tattoos are still fresh in the photo but still beautiful

Had the BEST experience here! Between my boyfriend and I, we’ve had tattoos done at 4 different places... This one tops them all & I’ll definitely be back! The staff is so friendly & we were treated awesome as walk ins. Ben was our artist and he took his time and listened to what we wanted. He went above and beyond what we expected. He was fun & seemed so excited about doing our tattoos. We have no complaints and absolutely love how they turned out. His small detail work is awesome and he seems very professional! The A/C was broken and the artist were still tattooing, I almost passed out from heat, it was horrible and I’m pretty sure it’s illegal

My nephew went in to get tattoos and were told we had an hour wait. The guy we talked to first said we could be next. We just needed to put down our names and numbers on a list and they would call when they were ready for us. So we did that and went to run a couple errands. We went back after an hour and another gentleman told us that we were going to have to wait until after a group that had come in while we were gone and when I tried to explain what the other guy had said the guy this time got extremely rude and so we left and went to a different establishment. If that’s how they are going to treat paying customers then I would not recommend them to anyone.

Incredible service and was super nice staff to everyone in my group and amazingg art work on all different areas of body. super friendly, definitely recommend.

My family and I are here on vacation and wanted some tattoos. We went to Tony and he did 3 of our tattoos and even did a touch up on one and made it look 10x better than what it looked like before. He was very nice and super talented even with tiny details. We will definitely be saving all our future tattoos for him to do on our annual beach trip! He was amazing!

Me and my 2 daughters went in for tattoos and they were very professional. Randy was awesome. Took the time to make sure we were happy with our choices and placement, good quality work and excellent after care instructions. Highly recommend him!

Me and my two friends got piercings done and they were all messed up, I got my nose and belly button done, one friend got a nose and the other friend got a belly button done. We only knew it was wrong because my friend that got her nose done, woke up and her skin was growing over the jewelry. She called next level tattoo and was told we can go to our nearest piercing place to get a bigger piece of jewelry put in. We went to Anchor Tattoo And Piercing and the ladies there had been doing piercings professionally for 9 and 6 years and they looked at all 3 of us and everything was wrong. All of the jewelry wasn’t long enough for the belly buttons and the noses. The jewelry type for our bellybuttons based off the shape of our bellybuttons was wrong. The noses were done at angle when it’s supposed to be 90 degrees. The bellybuttons weren’t pierced deep enough. And my friends bellybutton was just straight up crooked. We called next level tattoo after getting this information. Kindly told the piercer who did them her mistakes and she did not seem to care one bit. The piercers name was Blaise btw

My name is Ben my tatoo artist name is Ben I went in with kind of an idea of what I wanted I made some suggestions and then Ben had a better idea so I just rolled with it trusted his expertise and he didnt disappoint this guy was great easy to talk to easy to work with I had such a great experience I got shark teeth on my knuckles and he did a sharkbite on my arm and inside he did hammerhead sharks it was like watching the late Picasso at work so then i invited him fishing on my charterboat he was seasick when we got out there and throwing up off the back of the boat he was projectile puking so hard he fell off the back of the boat Im sorry to say the irony in this story is he ate seafood the night before fishing and he basically chummed up the water and the biggest hammerhead Ive ever seen bit his arm off crazy I know but afterwards he had a better idea for touching up my shark bite tatoo so he did the one armed Picasso tatood for 3 more months then passed away to the nextlife from complications of the sharkbite people that have had near death experiences say to this day that they saw Ben Picasso tattooing Jesus so the legend of Ben the one armed tatoo Picasso continues onward the end!!!! Excellent artist who listens and goes the extra mile to make sure your happy he will be missed

This is probably one of the best tattoo parlors I’ve ever been to but I’m also biased because it was my first tattoo I’ve ever gotten. Tim was super patient and explained everything to me because I was extremely anxious. He had a really light hand and overall it was painless. I had the best experience and would willingly drive back to Alabama to get another tattoo in a heartbeat. Go Tim!!! You rock!!!!

My friend got a tattoo done here the other day and while it looked lovely and the artist did a fantastic job, I wanted to mention their kindness and understanding. I had went in with my friend to wait with her through the tattoo and I wasn’t feeling the best, I ended up laying down on their couch and they brought me a pillow as well as a drink to help calm my stomach. Both artist that were in were a delight and I definitely plan on getting my own tattoo done here ✌🏼

I was refered to come here and ask for randy yall hands down the best randy has now done two of tattoos I have had a total of 3 done here. My family has even made a drive from mobile to see randy. The shop is always clean everyone is so friendly and make you feel so welcomed . Lexi is awesome too she has pierced my sister ears. When my family want stuff done we always come here. Always refer this place and never once had any issues. Randy is amazing at making your vision come true. Prices are very fair in my opinion.

Everyone was so nice here and the stations were very clean. I had 2 gentlemen work with me because the first guy did a good jobs with my kids names, but the day after I needed something else to pull it all together and that guy was not there so I had a different artist work on it. I am leaving soon for a trip, so I wanted it done before I left.The only thing I wish that was done, was to have my kids names straight in a row. One name is on a slight angle from the other 2. I realize it was done in a place that I have many self-injury scars, so overall I really like it and the names are my kids actual signatures.

Danny is the absolute greatest. It was my daughters first piercing and he knew exactly how to keep her calm and get it done in less than 7.5 seconds. I would definitely recommend going here. We looked around at every place and this was the best choice we could have ever made.

I walked in just to look at the portfolio of the Artist, went back about an hour later to get a new tattoo and 2 revisions, my artist was Ben Lee and his work turned out better than I expected, I am very satisfied with everyone at the studio, I live locally and if I have any more done I will certainly return. I will recommend Ben to everyone that is looking for a great tattoo, every one was super nice but all that matters to me is that I receive outstanding tattoos and I did.

The ladies at the front were super cool and nice.We did talk with one artist that seemed short and like he couldn’t be bothered but I ended up getting Randy to do mine.I’m extremely happy with my work!! He exceeded my expectations... not to mention, his line work can’t be beat. He was extremely nice and made us feel comfortable.My ONLY negative comment was the pricing was confusing. I got something pretty small and when I asked for a quote he said “$150 per hour” which usually smaller pieces aren’t by the hour. Mine took 30-40 mins and was simple black and grey. I was charged the full $150 but my friend, who got a bigger piece with thicker lines, more black, and color... hers was $120.I don’t mind paying for good work... which is what I got and why I still gave 5 stars but the pricing was confusing.

Last night of our vacation we went to get tattoos. Our artist was Ben. And he was awesome. Worked with what we wanted and our budget and blew our minds with what he did. I wanted a small sailboat with some waves and he had the idea to change it to an origami boat. And the jellyfish and the whale he did for my friends were just perfect. He was the best we could have ever asked for. We’ve all agreed we’d drive down from Missouri JUST to get tattoos from Ben again. Probably the best tattoo experience I’ve ever had.

The three of us walked in maybe 30 minutes before they closed, definitely not ideal for the shop, but everyone was super nice and the work they put into our tattoos was outstanding. We took our daughters here to get belly button and cartilage piercings. At first, we kind of cringed when we walked in, but after talking with Ben, we felt so much more comfortable. Ben was amazing with the girls, hallarious, and very serious about the health and safety of the whole operation. We did not get a tattoo, but did get to see some of his art work and it looked extremely detailed and amazing.

That guy Ben did my tattoo tonight and I flipping love it!!! I told him what I wanted and he freehanded it better than I originally imagined! Pricing was spot on and all the staff was friendly. My daughter got her belly pierced by Courtney who was very professional. We sent a Facebook message earlier today to make sure Ben was going to be in and they responded within 30 minutes. Im 100% satisfied and will definitely be back next time Im in town! Thanks Ben! My tattoo is LIT!!

This is definitely the best shop in Gulf Shores. The guys were super crazy, but made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. I was beyond impressed with how clean the shop was, and how smooth the entire process went, plus my tattoo turned out awesome! Very laid back atmosphere. My tattoo artist was Ben. The guy talked everything from anime to quantum physics while in the chair and I loved every minute of it. The bald dude with tattoos who pierced my friends was terrible he was in a bad mood the whole time and was very rude he told her if shes gonna be screaming like all the other customers she can leave, she just walked in at that point and hadnt said a word, he made her hold the clamps and when she tensed up he kept yelling at her which made her more tense over all it was just a very bad experience

Came for a tongue piercing after a last minute decision. Ben was super funny and made me feel completely comfortable. I definitely found my new go to place and cant wait to go back and get some ink done!

I took my 16 year old to get her belly button pierced. Ben was very detailed and clean.. I was impressed with the jokes and he had a steady hand. He made sure to tell her how to take care of it and made sure after the piercing she was ok for a couple minutes.

Dan worked with me to get my first tattoo. I came in with a drawing. I wasnt exactly sure how I wanted it so he worked with me to show me how it will be and we tweaked it until it was perfect! The tattoo came out with clean lines and the right proportions, Im very happy with the outcome

Got my lip pierced here and tried telling the guy I wanted to match up with the other side but I guess he had his own way of figuring out where to put it. It ended up being directly on my bottom lip line and is not in the same area as the other side, the other side is under the lip in the right spot but I didn’t get that one done there I had the other side done for years and decided to go here and get the other side done. My friends said “why didn’t you go back inside?” Well after the pain I was in after I didn’t want anymore poking through my face that night. I gave it time to see if it would heal and go down a little thinking maybe it was just the swelling to put it on my lip line but I was wrong. He did a grab job otherwise very clean and sanitized but since getting this lip piercing it has done nothing but hurt the entire time and trying it’s best to close around the piercing (mind you have had it for months now and my first one was not this bad) he does great tattoos from the work I saw but I wouldn’t go here again for any piercings.

Have gotten one sleeve a cover up and some touching up on triable. Fast and I consider very competive pricing. I had a blast clean shop funny staff and look forward to going back for my next tattoo. Both were free handed worked well from start to finish on picking out my sleeve, very happy with the out come.

Ben and Randy are amazing!!! Three ladies on vacation and wanting to get tattoos, we checked out another tat shop before finding Next Level Tattoo but as soon as we walked into this other place we felt as if we were a burden. You will NOT feel this way at Next Level, they greeted us as soon as we walked in and the artist behind the desk made sure to speak with the artists who would be completing our tats and gave us a wait time, which wasnt long! Ben is fricken hilarious and sarcastic, but both Randy and Ben were professional and very non-judgemental. They did not make us feel out of place at all. The tats we got were not our first by any means but by far the best tats we have gotten right down to the very fine detail and straight lines. If ever we are back in Alabama and are looking for a tat this is where we will go!! THANKS GUYS

We just left this tattoo shop, and waited for 30 minutes at least. No one greeted us or even looked at us. I said hello to the guy at the front desk dealing with other customers and he looked away. Sat on the couch waiting to be seen by and some other guys walked in and the girl just sitting in the room on her phone got up and dealt with them as SOON as they walked in. Definitely will not go back. Customers should ALWAYS be greeted and talked to not ignored. Wanted to get my first tattoo my last night at the beach, but guess that isnt happening.

Last year I got my septum pierced here by Courtney and though she was nice, she messed the piercing up pretty bad. Honestly if it was just the bad placement, Id be okay. But the reason Im leaving a bad review is because every time I contacted them about this piercing they either ignored me or told me theyd get back to me. And Courtney was conveniently on vacation for the next month I was trying to get in touch with her. It wasnt until I said Im taking it out that they were actually nice and ACTUALLY RESPONDED. This place has no concern for its customers, at least for the piercing side.

Although ther front desk was very Disorganized causing a several hour wait for several customers the ink work by Leif was worth the wait. My wife and I both had one done and he done a excellent job. Great attitude and very professional. Extreme value to the shop. Thank you

Mike is pathetic, he over charges and does sub par work. He charged $180 for a 15 minute tattoo. Has a terrible attitude and doesnt stand behind his work. Do not go there.

Went in there to ask about getting my FIRST tattoo and how much they charge and the guy was totally rude! He made me feel very uncomfortable and not welcome. It was like he was mad that I was shocked by how expensive a tiny micro tattoo costs. I politely told him I was unaware of how expensive they were and told him no thank you. He then went on to tell me I could go buy my own freaking needles and freaking ink at the freaking Walmart and do it myself! Very unprofessional.

It wasnt the worst place Ive seen but it definitely wasnt the best. First off The shop seemed very clean and and the people there were extremely friendly. Walking in it didnt even feel like we were strangers so that was nice. Although, I went in to get my septum pierced and they messed it up. They did it slanted instead of straight and the side she put the needle in was way lower than the side the needle came out of so it was extremely crooked. I had to take the ring out two days later because it kept flipping up and wouldnt stay down because of how crooked it was. I liked the environment there but overall I was very disappointed in the outcome of my piercing.

We came to this place a few nights ago looking to prove tattoos. There was one guy there and he was a little busy so we let him finish up what he was doing before asking questions. Then when he was done he didnt even acknowledge our presence. So we left. Then the next evening (giving then another shot because we understood they were busy with one person) we called about getting a tattoo the lady at the desk said the artist would be back in 45 minutes so we went up there to look at pricing and to talk to the artist. We got there and the lady at the desk (who looked stressed out and didnt know what was going on) said she didnt know when the artist was coming back but we could come back before they close at midnight. We gave them 2 chances and they failed both. I dont recommend this place after the experience we had especially after going to 2 other places and having a great experience for everyone in my family!

I was there yesterday for Friday the 13th deals, I honestly dont think I asked the guys name who tattooed me( my bad), but everyone was very friendly. I got sick (low blood sugar) and the artist was on top of it. Brought me a wet papertowel for my forehead, gum, and a bottle of water. He knew what was happening while I had no idea. Thankfully he did. Would definitely go here again.

My fur baby (my child) had to cross the rainbow bridge after 14 years and Tony did an amazing job on putting her paw print in the place she always laid her head. I am forever grateful!!

We waited over 40 mins for a guy named Dan who never showed after having an appointment set for 6pm for 2 people . The girl at desk was polite and seemed very sorry for his actions however seemed relieved that we said we were leaving because I don’t believe he even responded to her text asking when he would be at the shop.

Terrible customer service. The fat bald man was super rude just because I asked if the piercer was there. And they jacked up my piercing. It’s so uneven.

The guy who did my navel piercing a couple weeks ago was really nice, BUT. When I got back to my hometown, I started noticing that the top ball of the piercing was sinking down into the hole. So I went to a tat shop close to my hometown and he said that the guy who pierced it pierced too deep, so now I have to let it grow up and get it REpiercied. Also, the piercing was crooked. So that was $40 down the drain.

I got my first tattoo here on Spring Break and I’m very very happy with how it turned out! It was exactly what I wanted and Ben was awesome and made me feel less nervous!

Myself and my 2 daughters decided to get matching tattoos while on vacation in Gulf Shores. After finding Next Level and discussing via Facebook messenger what were wanting, we visited on 04/08/2021 for our ink. Our tattoo artist had a picture waiting of what we all wanted and asked the area we wanted it. 2 of us got it on the wrist in the same area, and my other daughter elected to get it on her foot. Our artist never gave advice or suggestions on our locations, nor were aftercare instructions given. When filling out the questionnaire before receiving our ink, we checked the box NO that we had not received these instructions as well. When the lady checked us out, she told our artist to give us a pack of A&D ointment to use, but that was all. No big deal, we received our ink and it looked wonderful, AT FIRST! in about a week, after arriving home from our vacation, which is 8 hrs away from Gulf Shores, I contacted them once again through FB messenger bc my 2 daughters tattoos seemed to be fading drastically, however mine still looked good and dark. They told me that we were still healing so to give it a little more time, but to stop using the A&D ointment bc we were only suppose to use that for 3 days after, well that wouldve been nice to know when were to supposed to have received our aftercare instructions! So I let another few weeks pass and my daughters tattoos now look horrible. The one on the foot is barely even there, so I contacted them again through FB messenger and asked for a refund. I was told no refunds would be given but I could drive 8 hrs back down to their business (16 hrs round trip), and they would retrace it. I asked to speak with the shop owner about this, and was told that person was the shop owner and that he would not do anything about this, he was sorry that I wasnt happy with my service. I explained that a tattoo should be permanent and not fade almost completely away in 2-3 weeks, he couldve cared less. So I have now not only wasted $140.00 ($60.00 for each tattoo and $20.00 tip) but now I have to pay again to have it retraced. BEWARE!!!

Piercer had no idea what she was doing. she gave me the wrong nose piercing and it kept falling out. Went back to my home town and new piercer said I had to take it out and get it re-pierced.

I came in 07-15-21 and purchased 2 tattoos done with Ben and Im very disappointed and dissatisfied with mine all I got was a little heart and all the ink is coming out of it I would like my money back I paid $65 for it I want my money back and also my daughter got two tattoos hers are perfect but another thing he never told us how to take care of our tattoos or after care and he never put protective coverings over her tattoos or mine so Im very disappointed and dissatisfied with my tattoo it is in the picture below

By far the absolute best tattoo Ive been to one of the artist Ben Lee is a great guy he done several tattoo that he freehand drew on me I dont have to even look in the mirror its like the manotes can read your mind I have alot of tattoos and I get more compliments on the work that he done than any other artists and I go to the tattoo expos Ive seen alot of great artist but this man is a painter he also can draw these amazing designs he sleeved my right arm for me and he guarantees his work for life Im from North alabama and no one guarantees there work for more than 6 weeks much less for life all around Its a great shop
