Got my septum pierced by Jared, was super nice and made me laugh which helped calm my nerves. It was so quick and barely hurt at all (I have a low pain tolerance but it was okay!!) Was only $25 which was such a good price. Great experience overall :)

Recently, my partners, a friend and I all got piercings from Jared. Double nose, nipples, eye brow and ears. Walk in. We were going to go somewhere else, but we didnt realize that they closed early, and Im glad we came here instead. I got my piercings here with some friends right after work as walk-ins. Jared was so inviting and such a funny guy! My friend was getting piercings for the first time and was super nervous and he made it so comfortable for her. I got four done this time and he did every one with ease. I have only gotten pierced here by Jared and he is AWESOME!! I only ever go to him now for my piercings. They have always healed well and he doesn’t charge an arm and a leg— just make sure to tip him good!! He provides the aftercare as well which I don’t see a lot of piercers doing! Rocksteady tattoos has real nice geniune tattoo artists, that really care about there work and care that people leave there shop with the work they want and that they love the work they got, and if you have any issues with anything you can just go and let them know and they will do what they can to fix the problem and make sure you leave truly satisfied . I had a cover up of a tattoo and rob did the cover up and I had a idea of what I wanted and the work rob did was even better than what I was thinking and he did an amazing job and the manager there was great and helped me as well as they could of if not better, and I will definitely be back for more tattoos and I actually was talking with rob about ideas for another cover up of an old tattoo I have. My recommendation to anyone is to go to rocksteady and get there work done by any of there tattoo artists, for me, my choice will be rob not only because of the cover up but also because I enjoyed having conversation with him while he was tattooing, shout out to rocksteady and an even bigger shout out to rob and the manager

Went a few months ago for a nose piercing and just last week went again for a tongue piercing. My nose was done by Hailey and tongue was done by Jared. Both are excellent piercers and very kind. Had a little bit of anxiety both times but the piercers made it a very comfortable environment. It was a quick process and healing has gone very well both times. I highly recommend going here and if I decide to get another piercing in the future this will be my first choice.

I am visiting friends in Colorado and wanted to get a tattoo while we were here. I messaged Rayni last Saturday seeing if she could get me in this week. She was very responsive and kind, and was able to design my tattoo and get me in yesterday to do it. I really appreciated her help and I am in love with my tattoo. Of my 4 tattoo artists so far Rayni gave me the best experience and I could not recommend her more. Its exactly what I wanted. Their prices are reasonable, about $100-$150 an hour, which for the quality of work, wonderful atmosphere, and amazing workers I feel is perfectly understandable. Everything was clean, safety was a top priority, the shop was bright and inviting, and Rayni checked in with me periodically to make sure I was doing okay. One of the friends with me got a labret piercing while we were there and was super happy with the piercer. Theyve definitely gained several repeat customers after this experience. I know I will 100% be going back to Rayni given the opportunity.

I had came in a couple days ago with my friend and we had both gotten face piercings from Jared and he was the sweetest and kindest guy. He wants you get a safe, clean piercing at an affordable price and I have had more than a handful of them from him. I got a tattoo done recently by the artist rayni! First off the tattoo is incredible! The detail is amazing and lines are perfect. She was so sweet about moving the design and was such a perfectionist! She also made it so unique and made to fit my body. Rayni is such an amazing artist and person to be around and makes you feel so comfy the whole time. 1000/10 i would recommend going to her! Thanks rayni:)

I went in on Sunday to get my septum pierced by Jered. Let me tell you, he did an amazing job. He is friendly, funny and professional. I will definitely be back to get my other piercings done by Jared.

Came in for a piercing. She said she was doing piercings and to take a seat. Waited a half hour to talk to the piercer to be told “I refuse to do nose piercings with hoops in the winter and my piercings don’t heal well” and told us two other shops to go to instead. Why would you tell someone that? The winter part is weird. It would have been nice to be told that when we came in so we could have found somewhere else in that half hour. So if you’re looking to get pierced I wouldn’t come here if they’re straight up about piercings not healing well. But hey, at least they were honest!

My friends and I all went to get our belly button pierced one day. We were all absolutely horrified but Jared kept us all calm and cracked a few jokes to ease the nerves. It did not hurt at all and it was super duper fast. Very good price. I absolutely love my piercing, it is a really good metal and he gave an entire care package. 10/10 recommend Jared for the best service.

Ive gone here twice now - for my first tattoos and for piercings. My tattoo experience was really great. The artist was understanding and really precise. And my piercing experience was also 5/5! Jared pierced me and it was super quick and easy. I was in and out in about 10 minutes and I got 4 ear piercings: my second lobe and two cartilage piercings. His pricing is also amazing (probably the best around town). About a week after my appointment I went back to see if my piercings were healing well and Jared was very attentive and checked them all for me (they looked good!)The shop is clean and its a calm and chill atmosphere. Everyone Ive talked to has been very kind. Highly recommend this place!

I got an eyebrow piercing done with Jared and he is the best!!! My piercing healed super fast and I didnt face any complications. I was worried about getting it pierced because not everyone could perfect it and your body could reject the piercing if its not done the right way. But Jared did a great job, you can tell hes a professional and it didnt hurt one bit. I am very sensitive to pain but this didnt hurt at all, it literally hurts more getting my eyebrows plucked and I think its definitely because Jared is great. I 100% recommend you to get your piercing with Jared! I would also like to say the pricing was really good!!

I called several piercing places around Fort Collins about adding to my preexisting 18g helix piercing by changing it to a 3-point industrial. I spoke with Jared on the phone and he asked me to e-mail pictures of what I already had and what my goal was. I appreciated his fast, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic response! I got the 2-point standard industrial pierced that evening and it was amazingly less painful than I expected. About a month later, I returned to re-pierce the 18g helix up to 14g, after which I allowed both to heal for the next few months while I waited for the custom 3-point industrial jewelry I ordered online. Jared was able to tell me exactly what I needed to order. Everything healed with no complications and looks fantastic! Thank you so much, Jared!

I loved my experience with Rocksteady Tattoo!! I got a nose piercing and Jared pierced me. It has healed beautifully. It was also the fastest I’ve ever been pierced, don’t let that deter you though because he was very precise and informative. I had asked him if we could place it higher and he said we could, but informed me about the pros and cons. After reading the reviews for this tattoo parlor, I think that my situation may have been a bad afternoon, but Ive had roughly 20 hours of tattoo work done in the past 2 years and this was by far the worst experience I have ever had at a tattoo parlor.A friend and I went in for tattoos, my design was more complicated than his with a few flowers, but overall it was a simple design. The artist my friend used was names Joe and he did a wonderful job. I had the other male artist and was not so luck. Considering the rating for Rocksteady, I assumed all of their artists would be equally skilled. I was wrong.Full disclosure, I use a numbing solution called Hush, I swear by it for tattoo work. My artist seemed disdainful of my choice for how I get work done on my body, which should have been my first clue that this artist wasnt going to be a good match. 20 minutes into the tattoo I knew something wasnt right, I was in a lot more pain than with any other tattoo Ive ever gotten, including one I had tattooed directly onto my spine.Initially, I thought it was my fault for not applying the numbing agent right, but I used a faster acting spray version and took a 20 ish minute break, which did help with the pain a lot until he started working again. However, it was not the numbing gel or my pain management. The artist was terrible.The tattoo was on both of my wrists, the way he stretched the skin on my wrists left bruises, and he managed to dig deep into my skin with his tattoo gun on all of the black lines, he missed sections multiple times, going over the same spots repeatedly. The healing process has not been pretty, and I will almost certainly have some additional unwanted scars from this tattoo once its done healing.Considering this, its impressive that he missed entire sections of the tattoo when filling it in. Parts of the leaves and flowers dont have ink in them, and one flowers ink goes outside of the lines. Some of the weirdness in the pictures is simply the fact that the tattoos are a week old and still healing, but the scabs that formed on three areas of the tattoos that have made the skin pucker was not normal and will leave unasked for scars. The coloring mistakes are also a problem.The cherry on top was a conversation my artist had with my friend when he was finishing my tattoo. They were playing pineapple express on the TV, and my friend made a comment that this was one of the few movies where it made sense for the actors not to shoot guns correctly, because they were high for the entire movie. The artist said, That shouldnt be a problem. Im high all the time. Yes, were in Colorado, but tattooing anyone while high is pretty ridiculous, maybe he wasnt high. Im not sure, but it would certainly explain the poor work. I will be getting the tattoos partially covered and hopefully corrected by a different artist sometime in may, but I strongly advise anyone who goes to this location to schedule carefully, or to find a different parlor altogether.

Haven’t been so impressed with a tattoo shop for a while.I have many tattoos and have been wanting a coverup on a forearm piece for a while.I’d talked to many artists and heard of Rocksteady through word of mouth. I decided to go in after work one day, and I was recommended to Rob.He had an opening for me in a few hours. He drew up a coverup I fell in love with. He’s very professional, an incredible artist has beautiful work. He was very educated & funny and easy to talk to. Over all it was clean & sanitary, the other employees had a great sense of humor. Super chill environment too. Definitely coming back for another tattoo soon!

Jared was my piercer for my 22nd birthday and he did an amazing job! He was super funny which put me at ease. He made it fast, was proficient, and my piercings are healing very well! I’ve been pierced by Jared at Rocksteady Tattoo twice within the past year; once in April, and again three days ago (industrial and eyebrow, respectively). Both experiences were professional and relaxed. The shop is clean and roomy (good for groups). The piercings look fantastic - my industrial has completely healed, and I have yet to experience pain or swelling from my eyebrow piercing. Both piercings were quick and painless, and I can’t wait for my next one!

I walked in on impulse on an anniversary get away and Jared was able to get me right in for a septum piercing. He was quick, clean and professional. Oh my goodness this place is amazing!!! I am from Wyoming and I was visiting Fort Collins. On a whim I decided to get my septum pierced. Not only is it probably cheaper for me to drive to Fort Collins to get a piercing, but the aftercare supply kit as well as quick professional service blew my mind! As someone with about 16 piercings I have had my fair share of piercers and I genuinely think Jared is the best! I will definitely be going here for all future piercings!

Jared is so good at what he does! I definitely think he should charge more. I was so impressed. I hadn’t had any piercings done in 15 years, so I was a little nervous to get four at one time, including one on my face. I had my helix and conch done by Jared. Awesome experience! Super friendly, efficient, sanitary, and personable. Went through all the steps of taking care of my piercings with me and also gave me his website info with aftercare instructions in case I needed it. Also gave me a little “goody bag” with saline solution, some stickers, and a lollipop! And then when I had trouble with the conch piercing a few days later, he changed it out, no muss, no fuss. If you want a piercing, Jared is definitely the one to go to, he’s great and I couldn’t be happier with my experience.

On Saturday a group of us ladies went in to get a variety of piercings. We had the pleasure of working with Jared. Not only was he excellent and competent in his skill but his disposition and welcoming calm manner really helped settle my nerves (I was a chatty noob). This is my third time getting pierced by Jared and I can honestly say he has always made it a great experience. If he had a line and there was a different piercer free I would still always go to him to get pierced hands down.In my experience if I have a certain piercing that Im wanting and it doesnt work with my skin he tells me why it isnt a good spot and even offers similar suggestions to what Im wanting instead of just trying to make it work and having to get removed afterwords (which I had a previous experience with for my rook that I got with someone else and I honestly wish I could take back).He is the reason I keep going to Rocksteady anytime I want to get pierced and I would personally recommend him to anyone who has had bad experiences elsewhere and dont want a repeat of the same situation.Hopefully this helps someone trying to find a new/talented piercer!!

Got my ears pierced by Jared pretty recently. Would highly recommend him to anyone who doesnt have a whole ton of experience with getting pierced. He explained the whole process to me before doing anything and told me I couldnt take them out. This was important because I didnt know if I could have them for work and he actually suggested me not piercing my ears until I knew for sure. Dont know a whole ton of other people that would do that. Overall great guy, would 100% recommend.

I walked in for a piercing recently and was impressed with the cleanliness and compliance of the shop. They’re clearly working hard to remain accessible to their clients AND meet CDC standards: limiting the number of people inside, affording ample distance between customers, checking symptoms, and requiring masks and hand-washing. Jared pierced my nose and I was so pleased with how gentle, efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly he is. His prices are excellent, too. I’ve had my nostrils pierced twice before elsewhere, several years ago; neither experience was especially nice, and ultimately the piercings rejected. Either the third time’s the charm, or I just haven’t learned... 🙃 Anyway, it’s been about a week, and my nose is healing perfectly. This is a great place! Ive gotten two of my lip rings here from Meg and most recently my septum by Jared, as well as an upper ear piercing a while ago although I dont remember who did that one (I am sorry for my forgetfulness😭). My septum is still healing, but it didnt bleed at all when it was done and it still doesnt hurt in the slightest. I accidentally moved during my second lip piercing so its slightly different than the other, but Meg offered to fixed it for free when it was a bit more healed which was really cool (I prefer the asymmetry though). They all healed very quickly and without any problems. Ive never gotten an infection from any piercing I got done here though I have at other places beforehand. Rocksteady is 30 minutes away from me and I have six or seven piercing shops within ten minutes of my house, but I still exclusively go here. The only reason I would ever go to another piercer would be if I was out of the state. The people here are also incredibly friendly, waiting for them to get the equipment ready is never awkward silence. If you want a piercing done affordably and correctly absolutely come to Rocksteady.

Came here for my first tattoo and I was pretty pleased with how that went but unfortunately the second time or yesterday, artist Joe and his apprentice were being very disrespectful to my girlfriend and I. Was trying my hardest to be tolerant, even paid at the end and thanked him but noticed he went out of his way to mess up my tatt so yeah very disappointed with how rude and conceited they were being and will most likely not go back or reccomend.

I was referred to Jared because I was have been experiencing horrible headaches for years - almost daily. My daughter and I both got a Daith piercing. I havent had a headache since. Ive had alot of work done with Rocksteady. To this date Ive gotten 14 of my 20 piercings there and 3 tattoos. Great work, every time. So I’ve been going to Jared for about...3 years now. He’s done quite a few of my piercings and swapped out my jewelry when needed, he’s the first person I go to when I want something new done and he’s always super professional and cool and makes sure it’s done right. Regardless of which piercing it is he never lets someone leave with something that’s not right. He’s done literally half of my piercings and I’ve never had an issue with any of them. He’ll answer any questions regarding the piercings and aftercare and that more than any of the other piercers I’ve ever seen. 10/10 recommend

So I got my Medusa done by Jared on my birthday in November. It was the easiest piercing I’ve ever gotten! Literally one second of pain while the needle went through. It never got swollen or hurt. I just went back yesterday to get my nipples pierced again I was so nervous about it hurting more the second time around. Jared is so fast and steady it was again just a few seconds of pain and today my nipples are barely sore. He has great bedside manner and is great at keeping the environment relaxed. If you need a piercing I would 10/10 recommend Jared he’s amazing!

At first I was skeptical before I came in to get pierced because I saw all of these five star reviews for Jared. And I was like “there’s no way, they gotta be paying people for reviews or something”. Well. I went in and got pierced by Jared and I TOTALLY understand why there’s all these amazing reviews. He’s super calming, I didn’t even need to take my anxiety meds like I usually do when I get pierced. He’s very meticulous and careful with what he’s doing but at the same time he’s quick and confident. Never again will I be pierced by anyone but him haha. The drive from Denver is long, but it’s worth it!

I saw Meg on Monday for a nostril and conch piercing. I was a bit undecided when I went in and she talked me through pros and cons of some options I had in mind. Had an awesome experience with Jared at Rocksteady! Walked-in to get my septum done and it was a very fast and comfortable experience. Will definitely be going back for my next piercing!

The first time I went i got my nose pierced by Jason and he was very nice and knowledgeable and explained the whole process and made me feel very comfortable and it was a great experience. The second time I got my belly button pierced by Tommy and again he made me feel so comfortable and the experience was perfect. My nose healed perfectly without any issues and my belly button is as well! I love runic and tell all my friends about it and will be going again very soon!

I got my 5th piercing done here and honestly loved it. The shop is great, everyone there is really nice and chill. Jared did my piercing and he was really great. Super nice, good humor, and checked up on the piercing later. Definitely recommend Rocksteady for future piercings!

I came in and got a helix piercing a couple of weeks ago. Jared was very patient with me as I asked to move it around again and again. He did a great job, the pain was very minimal, and it’s healing very nicely. 10/10- Would Recommend

Jared by far is the best piercer I’ve had!! He has been so attentive and helpful, and any time I reach out with questions he responds right away!! No doubt I would completely recommend him for getting your piercing!!!
