Sept. 5, 2024I got a nose piercing from Adam and all I can say is WOW! Adam went above & beyond to make me feel comfortable and explained the entire process to me before and while he was piercing my nose. Beforehand, he took the time to show me all the jewelry options I had and afterwards he walked me through the steps on how to properly clean and care for my new piercing. I would 10/10 recommend Adam at Solana to anyone for any and all piercings! Big s/o to his apprentice, Biz, too! She was awesome at helping facilitating an earlier piercing time to work around my busy schedule, which I really appreciated! Theyre the absolute BEST!!!

My daughters and I received matching tattoos from EZ today. He was amazing! He is incredibly friendly and professional. He made my daughters’ first tattoo experience fun and memorable. We LOVE our wrap around vines and are really pleased with the out come of his detailed work and design. I would highly recommend EZ for newbies and seasoned tattoo lovers alike.

Went to Adam yesterday and had an absolutely amazing experience!! He did my snakebites very efficiently and professionally. I really appreciated how he explained the steps to me throughout the entire process. I felt very comfortable the entire time and he was very easy to talk to and ask questions. I love how the piercings turned out and the placement!!

Adam the piercer is amazing!! We took our 5 year old to get her ears pierced for the first time (her choice). He was very thorough with the consultation and even spoke to her confirming she wanted to proceed which I appreciated. His technique was great and everything was super clean/sterile. After the first ear she decided to wait a few days for the second one and he was supportive of that. We came back a few days later and she did great with the second. 10/10 recommend for anyone but especially kids. The jewelry was high quality and reasonable as well.

I went with a friend to get him a piercing and the workers there were the absolute best. So helpful and communicative. Adam was so thorough in describing his methods and incredibly transparent. So so friendly as well Ive never gone with someone to get them a piercing and left so confidant that I wanted one as well

I got my second ear piercings and navel done here on Friday. The staff were extremely informative, and careful of giving recommendations and examples of how to care for piercings. Adam was my piercer and I would 100% recommend him again. He was skillful, kind and did a Wonderfull job all around. The attention to details and personal preferences is un comparable to any other organization. Amazing place. Would give 10 stars if I could!

My friend and I wanted to get piercings and werent sure where to go. We decided to give Solana a try since it was close and so highly rated. BEST DECISION EVER! Our piercer, Adam, was INCREDIBLE!!! Not only was he very kind, personable, and knowledgeable, he was so funny and helped to ease all of our anxiety. He was very informative and took the time to really explain all that we needed to know about the jewelry options, the piercing process, and the aftercare. It was so wonderful that he genuinely took his time and didnt rush a single thing. He marked my nose 3 times to make sure it was precise and matched the other side. Adam made the experience so much fun that I didnt wanna leave! I felt super welcomed and comfortable which has been a rarity for me going almost anywhere here in Fort Collins. People need to take a page out of Adams book for outstanding customer service! I got my other nostril pierced and I LOVE IT, its perfect and I will NOT touch it, haha!

I have had multiple tattoos and piercings from Solana, and I constantly recommend them to everyone!! I have had tattoos from EZ and his work is incredible and he works very efficiently and has designed a very meaningful tattoo for me! I’ve also had all my piercings from Adam and that is such a fun experience to work with Adam! He’s so fun and energetic and very calming and explains everything he does to you so you feel very comfortable in the process! Everyone that I have talked to, the other tattoo artists and piercers, are all so so wonderful and kind! So glad I found this place, such welcoming and fun place to be at!

Adam was my piercer and all i have to say was WOW. The whole process leading up to the actual piercing was amazing. The consultation was perfect and i felt i had so much that i could get done. I can not thank him enough for how in depth his knowledge about this went. Even the actual piercing didn’t hurt to which was amazing! 10/10 with a navel piercing !

I got my nose pierced and absolutly love it. The staff were so kind and walked me through each step and gave me many options. I have had the piercing now for almost a month and with the cleaning and care instructions I have had no problems. I cant wait to go back to get more piercings.

There are so many great things about this shop. They have amazing artists who really pay attention to what the customer wants and do amazing work. We love that each artist has their own space so we aren’t showing everyone who walks in our body parts. Adam The Piercer takes special care with hygiene and education on caring for your piercings. Max takes care of the front end and is one of the nicest people you will meet.

Adam was truly the best! I came in with a messed up piercing (from a different shop) and Adam was kind enough to clean it and switch out the piercing. He also gave me good tips for after care. I felt so safe and well taken care of.

Best piercing experience I’ve ever had! Adam was great. I got both my daith done and my Tragus changed. Hardly hurt at all. He talks you through everything he does. All with jokes and humor and enjoyable conversation too. Truly such a safe and great environment. Made sure to give me the best info for care and plan with piercings. Can’t say enough good!

Yesterday I decided to get my belly button pierced! I had a piercer named Adam who did a very good job. I went in a little nervous and I wasn’t really sure if I wanted it done that day, but my Piercer made me and my friend feel a lot more comfortable. He made us laugh quite a bit which lightened my nerves and in all he did such a good job! As for the building itself it was very clean and really welcoming! I didn’t feel out of place at all and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to get a tattoo or piercing!

My daughter and I went to Solana to get multiple ear piercings (tragus, flat, conch, helix) and Adam was amazing! He talked us through the process, placement, care before starting and it was greatly appreciated. As soon as I was done with my three piercings, I wanted five more. I got my ear pierced at Solana just over a week ago. From the moment my friend and I walked through the doors, we were greeted by incredible staff. The lobby is very welcoming, clean, and comfortable. I had booked an appointment with Adam to get a rook piercing. Without a doubt, hands down, this was the best piercing experience Ive ever had.I cant say enough nice things about Adam. He was immediately such a kind presence from the moment he introduced himself. He began by discussing the different options in terms of the metals and jewels. He was so very patient and made sure I understood everything.Once we made it into the room, he began setting everything up and just talking to my friend and I. I dont think Ive ever laughed so much while waiting to get pierced before. Between the constant conversation and the music playing (Adam has a great playlist!), I felt so at ease. The piercing itself was swift and essentially painless, he takes such good care of you. The experience was so positive and smooth that my friend who was originally only there for moral support decided to spontaneously get her nose pierced by Adam as well.Overall, Im usually terrible about leaving reviews online -- but I had such an amazing experience that I knew I had to. I will absolutely be coming back here for any future piercings. If youre on the fence about this place, dont be.

Adam the Piercer is the only person in Fort Collins that I allow to give me piercings. He is thoughtful and dedicated to his work and will always leave the client happy. Today, after an exhausting day, I noticed that the ball on my jewelry went missing. After I waited at Solana’s to buy a replacement, Adam remembered myself from my previous appointments. It is amazing that he is so personable and it is very enjoyable as a client. Highly recommend him for any piercing needs!

My tattoo artist was JD known as Jacked Kirby and he did a fantastic job on my tattoo! Great work. The staff here is also extremely helpful and kind and you feel welcomed as soon as you walk in the door. Definitely getting more tattoos and piercings here.(the wonderful artist behind the design of the actual tattoo is EZ)

My friend and I went in to get a couple piercings and Adam was GREAT!! He was soo kind and professional and did such an amazing job on both our piercings—at such an affordable price too. We will def be coming back for any more piercings or tattoos 🫶🏼

I went in for a flash and got my nose pierced. Staff was kind and organized, shop was clean. Adam was engaging and made me feel comfortable. A Few weeks later, the bead fell off. I walked in and Adam fixed me right up. Would recommend and plan to use this shop in the future as well. 💯

Adam is such a wonderful piercing artist! I recently went to Solana shop to get my nipple piercings done and Adam made it extremely comfortable the entire time. He was cracking jokes but also making sure I was getting informed on how to safely do through the pricing process and after care for them. Got my daughters nose pierced here. Adam was highly professional. Absolutely pro. He thoroughly walked us through every step, was comforting, and encouraging to her. Just really made it a wonderful experience. Bonus points for the calming music selection. If I could give him 6 stars I would. HIGHLY recommended.

I absolutely love Solana Tattoo! I have gotten pierced and tattooed here and all my experiences have been amazing! The artist and the counter staff are always so friendly and helpful every time I go there. Adam has been my piercer 2 times now and every experience with him was great! Rachel, an amazing artist and person. She really cares about her clients and will take whatever time is needed. Rachel was great with my minion. The yellow was extremely difficult to take to my skin and she had me come back three times until she was satisfied.Xae was very helpful, friendly and welcoming at the front desk. He walked me through the process as it had been awhile since my last tat.

I got my septum pierced here a few days ago. Adam was great! The piercing was quick and everything was super clean. I 100% recommend Solana for piercings.

I got pierced with Adam a little over 2 weeks ago. He did my second lobe and my navel and both look amazing. He’s super friendly and will keep a fun conversation and energy that clear up any nerves you have! He explains everything he is going to do before he does it and makes everything quick and painless. Went with my family today to get some piercings. My young brother got both ears pierced and I got my third lobe done. Adam was very kind and informative. It was my 6th piercing and I learned more than I ever have before! He walked us through the whole process and made the entire experience very fun and comfortable. When Adam found out it was my dads birthday, he threw an in extra ear piercing for him as well! It turned into a fun bonding experience for the whole family. Solana Tattoo is now my go-to place. I’ve had such amazing experiences with Adam the piercer! Every time I’ve gotten a piercing done with Adam, he is always so kind, easy, clean, and takes the time to talk me through each step. I’ve come back to get piercings from him again and again because I trust in his skill as an artist and no matter how long it’s been he always remembers me. I’ve gotten four lobe piercings, a conch, a rook and two helix piercings done with Adam and he has truly done an amazing job of curating my ears. I highly recommend Adam and I can’t wait to go back for my next piercings!

This is my go to shop for tattoos. The artist I go to is Rachel. I’m always given all my options, she is always willing to revise the design and placement to make sure it’s exactly what I want and works w my budget. The quality of her work is top tier and shows an immense attention to detail. I don’t typically go to the same tattoo artist but I will continue going back to Rachel until I have no space for tattoos left on my body. 10/10 experience every time. And for people with complicated skin conditions like me, Rachel is more than willing to adjust the care routine and ingredients used during the tattoo, making the healing process as smooth as possible. I’m always absolutely obsessed with her work and recommend her to all of my friends and family :).

I have so many great things to say about Solana after my first visit and don’t even know where to start. The staff did such an amazing job at making us feel welcome! :) I arrived to an event with a lobby full of guests and was taken care of immediately. I also can’t speak highly enough of Adam, he did an AMAZING job!! I not only felt comfortable and excited to get pierced, but he was highly informative about the piercing and thoroughly communicating every step along the way. The whole team just carried this uplifting atmosphere that makes you want to keep coming back, I’d highly recommend!!

Maybe good for tattoos, not great for piercing though. Jewelry is cheap quality but super expensive and will fall out before piercing is healed. I got two piercings and they both fell out within 3 weeks. Never had this happen and I have over 10 piercings

Ive been to Solana three times to see the magnificent Sabrina aka @bybryne. I truly felt like I was getting pampered at the spa for each one, including my rib piece. My smart watch asked if I was taking a nap due to how relaxed I was. Easily my favorite tattoos due to design, style, linework and comfortability. You know Ill be back for more! Thank you Sabz!

My little sister was gifted a tattoo for her birthday. Over the phone one lady told my mom that my sister either had to have her birth certificate OR id. We are from out of state and came this way because we think they do better work. Unfortunately, they denied us tattoos because this information was false. She needed her id AND birth certificate to prove that my mom was actually her mom. She was not very kind about it. They had this planned and had been talking to the artist since yesterday. Waste of our time.

I was in yesterday and Adam did my tongue piercing, he was so great! He is very professional, efficient and sterile with his work! Waited 4 hours for black friday deal and it was worth it. Family owned/operated and they’re very nice welcoming people! Would be a perfect place for someone’s first tattoo as well as a more complex, larger design. Extremely clean place and the artist and owner JD was very patient, wanting to get everything exactly how we wanted it. Private rooms rather than getting tattooed in front of the entire shop. They accept cards not cash only! Will absolutely return if I get more tattoos!!!

Adam is literally the best! He is super kind and funny, and did an amazing job at making the whole process less nerve racking. Even after spending the whole day seeing one person after another for a flash sale he was an absolute joy. The actual piercing was super quick, but not rushed at all (I got my septum done). I came here while they were having a flash sale a few weeks ago to get a piercing and had a really great experience. I got my nose pierced at Solana with Adam and it was by far my most unwelcoming & weirdest experience with a piercer. He made my friend & I feel uncomfortable and we told him as much, but he continued with berating remarks disguised as jokes. I asked him to pierce my nose lower than he initially put the dot, but he still pierced it in his original placement so now it looks uneven with my other nose piercing. I have had 15+ piercings in my life and this experience with Adam by far ranks the lowest. Front desk staff was nice though, and the place was sanitary. Cool fish tank in the lobby.

My husband and I took our 3 year old to get her first ear piecing. Adam was so kind and patient with her. He not only made her comfortable, but us as well. I first got my third love piercings by Xae and my experience and piercings were absolutely amazing!!! I then got a tattoo done by Rachel! My friend designed it, but Rachel executed it so beautifully! Getting pierced at Solana Studio has been an amazing experience. I had both my daiths recently pierced here by Adam and previously had some other piercings here as well. The studio is very clean and he puts a lot of work into making sure everything is sterilized and well maintained in his piercing area. This place is so professional and every staff member is welcoming and just radiate good vibes which makes the experience that much better. I am so happy with all 4 of the piercings Ive had here and 100% will be going back for more. So I went in a little nervous and when I walked in I was met with two very nice and kind, informative ladies at the front desk. They were really sweet and answered a couple pre questions I had. As I sat around there was artwork of the artists and piercings which looked amazing. They had a Nintendo Switch to play games on and offered a variety of drinks. When the Piercer, Adam, came out, he was very friendly. So I went back to his room for the piercings and he was so very friendly, making the whole experience really amazing. He talked with me about my life and we joked around having a blast, which helped calm down the nerves a ton. And he was very informative, like he was talking about the process and everything. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and I totally will be coming back!

I went in for the flash Friday piercing sale a few weeks ago, and I had Adam do my two ear piercings and he was AMAZING!! I’ve been to Solana for piercings twice now, the first time I had Adam piercing my conch. He was funny and explained the piercing process really well. My friend recommended Solana and Adam to me and I was SO glad that I went. Since I had such a good experience I decided to go on Friday the 13th for my 13th&14th piercings. Solana was super busy but managed to stay organized and professional when dealing with the massive amounts of crowds. I’m impressed with everyone’s ability to remain positive and friendly after a fast-paced and busy day. Xae was my piercer this time and he was also absolutely fantastic. He made sure that the piercings would be perfect and aligned well. I felt so comfortable with him, especially since I was getting a vulnerable piercing. He made sure I was doing alright and checked in if I needed a break before following through with the second piercing. My friend was with me and watched Xae’s work. She said she was impressed with how swift and awesome Xae was and regretted backing out of her piercing. Next time she’s in Fort Collins we’re going back :)I’ve been to a handful of shops, having 12 piercings before coming to Solana. None of them can compare to this place. Solana super clean, friendly, and professional. Everyone here is phenomenal and I’m really looking forward to coming back again!

Took my daughter for a repiercing of her ears and she thought she wanted an industrial.Adam was fabulous. He did the ears and explained the difference btn the industrial and lobes, he saw she was hesitant and offered a few options to work up to an industrial piercing. She decided on a high lobe and it looks great. He was patient and did a great job.

Everyone at the shop is very knowledgeable about what they are doing and give you the best advice. I got 2 small tattoos and Aiden was helpful and realistic about how big they should be for longevity. He was also super fun to work with!

Got my conch pierced, was the best piercing experience I have had out of all 14 piercings. Adam is the best piercer I have yet to find, and the prices here are extremely reasonable; paid $50 in total to get custom jewelry on my conch!! I have loved every single experience I have had at Solana Tattoo Co. and I find myself booking an appointment out months in advance every time I leave. Alyssa has done all three of my tattoos in my last few visits, and even touched up my stick-n-poke from years back, making it crisp and clean. The environment is super relaxing, and Im someone who has to just close my eyes and focus on not holding my breath in painful spots and she was totally cool with just hanging out and listening to the music at the shop and checking in to make sure I was all good! The reviews on here led me to finding her for my first tattoo experience after months of searching and I literally cannot recommend her enough.

My friends and I went into Solana Tattoo yesterday for the special Flash Friday event. While all the work they did was phenomenal and all the workers were super friendly, I do have a few concerns.My friend was getting her very first tattoo so she didnt have any prior experience with tattoo pricing or just general tattoo knowledge. She went in asking for two tattoos on her ankles and spoke with the apprentices at the front desk who told her that the tattoo she wanted wouldnt be more than $130. After receiving the tattoo and going to check out she was told her tattoo was $320. She was not communicated with before getting her tattoo that it would be this much. After pulling out money from her college savings she was able to pay for it. She was in tears after the fact and felt she had been taken advantage of.My boyfriend also came in to get his right ear pierced for the price of $25 for a basic piercing. After he had gotten his ear pierced, he was told it would be $50. So he ended up paying double what he had been expecting.While none of us blame the tattoo artists or apprentices for these mix-ups, I do think there should be more communication and transparency between artists and customers as well as more communication between the artists and apprentices working at the front desk so they are able to effectively communicate the correct prices for each tattoo to the costumers.I also understand that yesterday was a busy day due to the Flash Friday event, and maybe we would have had a different experience if we had come on a different day. My friend and my boyfriend also just felt rushed out of the salon while they were checking out, so they werent able to ask questions about the price of their piercing/tattoo. When my friend told them that she was not aware her tattoo was going to be $320 and she couldnt afford it, she was told that there was nothing that they could do about it.We were also told it would only be a 45-minute wait, and after two hours my place in line had been given to someone else. My friend was also told they would be able to do her piercing in 10 minutes but waited for over 30 minutes. Also, the guy working at the front desk was not very attentive and did not keep us updated on wait times.Again, we completely acknowledge that it was a hectic and busy day, I still believe there should be better communication between artists and customers, especially when your business is located in a college town that will attract college students who are not yet financially stable. The tattoo artists and piercers are all amazing and kind and did a phenomenal job, and I would love to recommend this place as long as in the future there is better communication about pricing.

Thought I’d posted this review a long time ago but apparently I did not. Can’t say enough great things about this shop. From their upscale atmosphere to their laidback attitudes, you are sure to feel comfortable and at home as soon as you enter Solana. The customer service is top notch, the owner cares about his artists and his customers and his attention to detail in his shop reflects this. All of the artists are amazingly talented - I’ve now been tattooed by JD, Rachel, and Alyssa and love my pieces from all of them. Can’t wait to keep coming back for more and hope to see Solana stay for the long haul in FoCo.

Fantastic place! There was a little miscommunication when I came in for the Flash Friday event, but Aimee was incredible at getting me back in so that I was happy with the final design. Both artists I saw were incredible - Moe does amazing linework and Alyssas stippling is to die for. Absolutely recommend this place!

Went yesterday to get my daughters nose peirced for her birthday. Adam the peircer went above and beyond expectations. I could not have asked for a better experience for my daughters first peircing. And it looks absolutely amazing. We look forward to going back very soon.

Super disappointed with the service.Came in to get jewelry again..the first time I was given the wrong size- way too short and it was pulling through my skin.This time the jewerly was way too long..I asked to be sized because I could tell the jewelry given to me would be way too long...and was told with MUCH frustration and sighing, to come back another time with a scheduled appointment..which I find funny because this is a walk in facility...I was a walk in just like everyone else but was treated less than.Great way to show poor customer service and waste my $200 throughout both visits.Definitely do not recommend.
