Went in to get my nose pierced. JoJo was very professional and calming as I was really nervous. He explained what he was going to do and then did it very quickly. Will definitely come back for any future piercings.

Went and got a piercing from Jojo. He was so amazing!! Quick, easy, and quite painless, actually. I have had bad experiences with asking questions with piercers. But he answered questions about previously done piercings and even put new jewelry in for me! Super friendly and knowledgeable. He came highly recommended and now I also highly recommend him. The experience was great, and I even got an after care goody bag, so cool! Thank you for one of the best experiences my sister and I have ever had!!!

Cade did a good job on the tattoo I had him bang out.The first person I encountered though,,, asked me what I came in for and didnt seem interested in what I had for an answer.Passed me off to my guy who at least listened to me for a minute before asking if I wanted anything Right Now.So I let him pound out a cool little Native American Snoopy design I brought in.😄I love him lol.But I walked in talking about a traditional Japanese style Dragon and Koi fish, with a Samurai on top to make a sleeve 🤔Maybe they thought I was broke 🤣.I have half a day booked next Friday somewhere else where they took my request and ideas seriously 💯Not taking anything from my artist really, I just felt like nobody gave a shit what I was looking for in the first place or the long run.Yeah Im Native lol, andCade did awesome on my lilInjun Joe Cool 😎

Recently got a couple tattoos done by Jason. We started off with a small walk-in that turned out okay enough that I felt comfortable with getting another tattoo by him. We scheduled another one for a couple weeks later and it unfortunately didn’t turn out very good. Kinda felt like he was rushing through the tattoo and overall the line-work, shading, and attention to detail turned out extremely sloppy. It honestly looks like someone did it with an ink pen and some of the details are just completely lost in the design and don’t make much sense, will probably have to laser it off or completely cover it. Jason seemed like a pretty chill dude and he was easy to talk to but I don’t think I’d ever comeback to get any more work done by him.

I had a great experience at Freakshow! Best place in town to get pierced. I had Haley the cute blonde girl do my septum and industrial she made it super quick and practically painless even dealt with my profuse bleeding and swelling no problem(Im a bleeder) overall 5 stars definitely coming back soon

Highly recommend JoJo for piercings. He takes the necessary sterilization process seriously. He has done multiple on me over the course of six months and all have healed beautifully. You won’t regret JoJo as a piercer.

Went here after being turned away from another shop for not piercing under 18(my little sister) , but am sooo happy it worked out this way- had a great experience.got pierced by Jo Jo today and he was beyond helpful! I went with my little sister who was nervous, but him and his apprentice were making fun conversation and jokes to help ease the tension. Overall did an exceptional job!

Got two small tattoos, 1 for me, 1 for my wife. The experience was 5 star. We paid and left happy. They called us about an hour later to tell us they screwed up and needed to charge us more. So now it’s an average rating.

Jojo has done an amazing job on all my piercings (Had 14 done with him) and was extremely helpful whenever I had issues with any of them. Hes also a great person to talk to and helps his clients feel as comfortable as possible whenever getting a piercing done.

Ive been here many times and Ive gotten all my piercings here. Usually I go in when Jojo is the piercer just because hes always been super friendly and overall does a great job. however I went in with a friend a few days ago and Hailey was the piercer. I had no issue with this initially but throughout the entire time my friend and I were getting pierced Hailey was very cold and rude. Whenever we asked a question or tried to make conversation she would respond with a snappy and aggressive tone. Definitely will never be going to her for piercings ever again.

Jojo is always so kind and talks you through the entire process. Been pierced by him 4 times and never had any issues with healing or other issues.

Jojo is professional, personable, and well rounded in his skills as a piercer. He has a unique passion for the craft and is willing to go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, not nervous, and takes no shortcuts in working with the geometry of your face and body. He has done over 20 symmetrical facial piercings of mine over many years and not only do they always align right; his artistry is a conversation starter and head turner. Could not possibly recommend someone more in 50 miles around to stab you right.

The service here is great and I loved Jojo! He was super fun to talk with and they had good prices, BUT my piercings ended up extremely uneven. I will have to let it grow over and get it re-pierced. My first piercings from Claire’s were way more even than the ones here. Disappointed in the results ☹️

No issues for piercings, but I got a small (dollar bill size tattoo) line work only, not micro realism or anything crazy no shading even, but my experience wasnt great. It felt like the artist was fully annoyed that she even had to do the tattoo and was pretty rude and just heavy handed. Overall, the tattoo isnt bad, but its not great for what I paid. (Around 300) Thats after a bit of reflecting, now that I have a full back piece and a fairly large tattoo on my arm done. I wouldnt recommend them for tattoos overall, but Ive never had an issue with any of my piercings. I would actually recommend them for piercings as the pricing is fair and theyve always been straight and well placed. Pretty sure my piercer was JoJo he was great - good customer service and good at his trade.

Drove up for the day to get my daughter’s nose pierced and called in advance. The guy on the phone was super helpful and made sure that I had all my her info I needed. When we got there we were greeted by the group of people in the main area, all of which were super friendly. She got the piercing done by Jo-Jo and I must say best experience ever. He was super chatty with her and made the entire thing completely comfortable. At the end he went over all the cleaning and instructions and then was sure to give her and I his business card in case we had any questions. Then she got a little goodie bag of things. I initially went because I loved the name but we will for sure be back because it was a fantastic experience.

Jojo was able to take me as a walk in for my Smiley. I was super happy with the outcome! He was even able to give me recommendations on which piercings would be best to do next, since I want to get 3 other piercings.

I was excited to come here as in Greeley we don’t really have walk-in shops so o came to Fort Collins to this shop hoping to get a piece done. The first person was really friendly and we chatted about my design, but he didn’t have time that day and asked another artist consult. That artist completely ignored me. I stayed for about 15-20 minutes and he didn’t come over to see what I wanted. I saw him getting ready for a different person, but just acted like I was bothering him. The rest of the staff there either ignored me, or just gave me stares. I ended up leaving and going to another shop and they did a fantastic job and costumer service was way better.

I highly recommend Brett Tovar! He did an absolutely amazing job on a very special memorial tattoo. Thank you so much man. I seriously can’t praise him enough!!

I went and got my snakebites and jestrum pierced by Jojo!! Not only was he super professional, but it was one of the best piercing experiences I have ever had. Very budget friendly, but I never felt as if I was losing quality. He meticulously looked at my anatomy and repeatedly had me open and close my mouth to ensure the placement was perfect. He did my jestrum first because it was more painful, demonstrating immense care for my comfort. He was funny and genial. I am so happy with the piercings. More than that, I ended up heading back to get different jewelry for my snake bites because the captive bead rings weren’t working for me, and he refused to let me pay as it was a jewelry swap. Honestly it was a phenomenal experience and I can’t imagine ever going anywhere else now that I’ve been pierced by Jojo!!

The artist (Jason Johnson) that did a tattoo for a friend and I was friendly but I wouldnt recommend him and his 25 years of experience.His line work was garbage... didnt fill everything in he was supposed to and his lines didnt line up, he should have pressed through the entire line instead of trying to meet in the middle.The sticky clear bandage didnt allow for proper care and gave me a rash.The shading he did on her tattoo wasnt consistent.Bottom line he didnt take his time and he overcharged, for almost 2 hours of shop time when overall it took him slightly over an hour to do both.As a repeat customer at Freakshow, this experience will keep me from going back ever again, not even for the no charge touch up, I would have been better off getting the tattoo in a prison or someones garage.

Ive been here twice now and scheduled for a third visit in a few weeks. Jojo is great at the piercing but Rayni did an amazing job on my tattoo. The service is fantastic. Store is clean but full of young college students. So many college students...

The piercer JoJo is the best, he has done like 90% of my piercings. They all healed beautifully and evenly.The only things is sometimes when you go in the staff seems very unwelcoming. Makes you feel a little awkward and intrusive.

I got a flash tattoo from kenny a few months ago, and i had a great time the atmosphere in the shop is great and all of the artists and piercers are super kind. my piece healed really well i’m excited to go back and get new jewelry and art :)

My friends and I went in for nose piercings and a cartilage piercing. Jojo was super friendly and well informed about piercings. His room was clean and everything was properly disinfected between piercing my friends and I. He was super gentle and quick. He even cleared up some concerns that we had. I loved that his thorough explanation of after care consisted of a card with after care tips and a cute post card. I would recommend Jojo to any one getting a piercing for their first time as he is hilarious and takes away the nervousness and he is very professional.

He is insanely friendly and the shop is sanitary/feels comfortable in the midst of COVID. The price was unbeatable, and I’d highly recommend getting any piercings done here. JoJo is absolutely amazing! He’s a great guy and when I told him how nervous I was he kept everything light hearted and was cracking jokes the whole time. He made me feel very comfortable and explained everything, and made sure I understood after care, he was very quick, and just all around provided a great experience. Jojo is the absolute best!! Ive gone in twice (once for septum piercing and another time for dermal removal Id had for two years that was rejecting). He explains everything in so much detail and is by far the best piercer Ive been to. Moved here from Texas and still, hes the damn best! I took my young daughter in to get her ears pierced after a recommendation from a friend. So glad we didnt go to Claires-- JoJo was great! Very friendly and answered all our questions. Great experience and quality work-- she didnt even flinch and no tears! JoJo explained her after care protocol and sent her home with supplies. When we walked out, my daughter said I love my earrings! He was the best, Mom! Thank you so much JoJo!

Got my venom bites pierced here a month ago (I can’t for the life of me remember my piercer’s name- she was amazing, though!). The piercer who did them was great, I was really nervous going into it and she explained everything about getting them so well that it calmed me down almost instantly. The whole experience was quick, painless, and easy. They’ve healed perfectly with zero issues and they look awesome, I love them! I’ve had almost all of my piercings done at Freakshow and I’d recommend this shop a million times.

Every piercing Ive ever gotten here heals phenomenally and I have no issues with them. This shop is very clean and is a really cool environment. I went in to set up septum appointment, but they just took me right on back! JoJo was way cool and got the piercing done fast and its looking great. The price is way better than any of the other places I’ve checked around. I went in to get my belly button pierced and left feeling happy. Jojo was fantastic, hilarious and made me feel comfortable the whole time. He was really prepared and wasnt rushed. The place was super clean, friendly, and they use fresh needles and clamps, and they dispose of them properly. I walked in Sunday afternoon and was immediately greeted by both a tattoo artist and by a piercer. I was able to discuss a tattoo idea and scheduled an appointment for the next day. Ended up getting two beautiful tattoos and I genuinely enjoyed the time spent there. Great attitudes and quality work.

Rayni did a great job and was flexible and transparent about the whole process. This my first tattoo and I had no idea what to do, but I just walked in and asked, and booked an appointment for the next day. At the appointment she was efficient, it was cheaper than I expected, and it felt like a cat scratch. I even made a last second change and she was willing, and even agreed with the reasoning which was nice. Despite having no tattoos before this and having no idea what to expect, I felt comfortable the whole time.

I cant speak for the tattoo artists, however, I cant say enough nice things about Jo Jo. Hes nice, friendly and very professional. Its always a very positive experience. I recommend him any chance I get. Ill never go anywhere else for piercings.

I absolutely love the staff here & they have an incredibly welcoming, chill vibe. I only wish the piercings were good quality! I’ve had 2 done (1 cartilage, 1 lobe) and had to take both out after a year of trying to get them to heal. The person who pierced me was incredibly accommodating, I just don’t think the jewelry they use works for my body. If you’re someone with sensitive ears definitely go for a place that offers silver jewelry

Shae and JoJo both have given me plenty of piercings. all who work here are super awesome, they make you excited and feel comfortable in their shop. 10/10 best place ever.

I went here to get my first tattoo after meeting Rayni a few months earlier and she did an amazing job! She is awesome at linework and I was really impressed with her talent. The tattoo itself barely felt like a scratch to me, she has a really gentle hand. Highly recommend! Im going back this weekend for my second tattoo and Im stoked!

Meg was AWESOME! Wandered in on a whim looking to get my noise pierced and she was super cool, made me feel very comfortable, made me laugh even though I was a bit nervous, and gave clear, simple instruction for after care. I wish I would have found Freakshow a while ago for other piercings and tattoos, would have been a different experience if I went with these folks from the get go. Keep it up!

Where do I even start? I love it here! Im a major piercing enthusiast, so Ive gone into my fair share of piercing and tattoo shops. When you first get there, the door has some cute little sayings on it that will make you laugh, easing any tension you may have about getting a tattoo or piercing. As you walk in, youre warmly greeted by a variety of tattoo and piercing artists. Ive gotten 2 of my own piercings here. The first one I got was my tongue, pierced by Twiggy - or Shayna on their site. She is the absolute best. Not only is she a sweetheart, but she makes sure youre comfortable before continuing with the process. She did an amazing job, making the piercing swift and simple, quickly exchanging the needle for the bar and off I was with a bottle of piercing care and a new piercing! The second piercing of mine was done by James, who not only pierced my eyebrow but the brow of my partner. He did a great job of making us comfortable and laugh, easing the tension of my partner, who had never gotten professionally pierced. He answered any questions we had, and let us know to call the shop if we had any issues. Apart from my own two piercings, Ive recommended the shop to anyone and everyone who asks where to get a piercing, and have brought 4 different friends there to get theirs done. All in all, this is one of my favorite piercing shops and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to get poked!

I’m from Texas and came to the shop as a last result I went two other two shops they made me wait over 20 minutes while sitting outside and never check on me. So I went over to FreakShow and Shae did my piercing and was quick and easy. She was friendly, super nice and great process of getting it done right away. If I’ll get another piercing in Colorado I’ll definitely go back to her. Will recommend to anybody who needs something pierced.

I got my tragus pierced here 8 years ago by Jojo and it is still one of my favorite piercings. Ive recently got some lobe piercings by Megan and was pleased with their covid precautions. I love that they do walk-ins instead of having to schedule an appointment. Its always a quick and easy process. They are clean and friendly and have always been my go to place in Fort Collins!

I had my septum pierced at Freakshow, and I am so so pleased with my experience. I was a walk-in but was helped right away. I dont think I was even there for 10 minutes. Jo-Jo was awesome, made me feel completely at ease. I was pretty nervous about how much the piercing would hurt, but the pain was so minimal and he was so quick I was kind of in disbelief that I had been pierced at all. I would definitely recommend this place!

My boyfriend and I came in for walk in s today. Jeremy did both of our tattoos and they both came out awesome! He is a great artist and seems to be very down to earth. Everyone in the shop was very friendly and the atmosphere was very welcoming. I would definitely recommend Freakshow, and I plan on coming back to have more work done in the future.

Micah did a drawn-on demon/Hanya style head for me and a vintage flower girl and I could not be happier OR stop staring at them in awe. If you’re looking for heavy blackwork designs and a meticulous artist who takes their time, he’s perfect. Not to mention the great environment he created! His flash feels exceptionally unique and playful/weird, and I highly recommend him if you’re looking for a creative artist (& the shop)!

Ive been seeing Jojo for almost 10 years and I am never disappointed. He is the only one I will every let pierce my body. I have 28 piercings done by him and I will always recommend this amazing man!!!

I seriously hate writing negative reviews, especially considering the work and talent that goes into body art. Firstly, the staff was super friendly, and I enjoyed the time spent in the shop. Sadly, however, the tattoo I received was was exceptionally over priced (my fault for agreeing to it I know) but that’s not my beef. I received zero aftercare advice, my tattoo was not cleaned after it was done, no wrap was applied to protect the fresh wound, and the damn thing is already fading and scarring. It’s incredibly uneven and the tattoo I’ve been planning for years turned out to be a huge mistake. Compared to other shops I’ve experienced, this one is generally unclean and poorly organized. This review killed me to post, seriously I hate writing these but it needed to be said.

Got my ears pierced for the first time by Emily, it was very simple and quick and they have been healing well. Overall an awesome first experience. Very friendly staff, clean shop, affordable. 10/10!

Ive been pierced many times over the past 7 years and it was always a great experience!!! JoJo is a fantastic person and will take the time to educate you on whatever youre about to get pierced. He provides aftercare solution and instructions. I also have a tattoo that I received here from Topher a few years ago and to this day, people still ask me if it is a new tattoo because it looks that good. Thank you guys so much!

A friend and I went here for a walk-in tattoo. My artist was Casey, who was great. He did exactly what I was hoping for in a timely manner and for a good price. I have never done a walk-in tattoo and was kind of nervous, but I am pleasantly surprised. My friends tattoo also came out great! Definitely already thinking about going back.

I want to start off by saying I got my piercing here a couple months ago and it was great! Everyone who pierces here is cool and makes you feel comfortable and at ease so I would recommend coming here for piercings 100%.As for my tattoo though... not only is part of it missing (even though it was on the stencil) the man who did my tattoo was rude and did not understand the fact that he is giving me art that I want and his opinion should not matter. When I pointed out his attitude he said it was just him as a person, so dont expect much better treatment if Jeremy is your artist (most the people on these comments complain about him also so that really shows his abilities). I didnt even know his name until half way through my tattoo when I had to ask what it was. Not friendly, not helpful, not a good environment; he even complained about the fact that my tattoo was pretty much just a basic girl tattoo and I was the same as every other girl who walked through the door (excuse me, am I not PAYING for this?). It was also over priced... $80 for a tiny 2inch tattoo is up charging (I have 2 larger tattoos and they didnt even cost that much) AND as I said it was not even completed and frankly I just didnt want to get into it with this guy to fix it once I noticed. Not the environment you want to be in for a tattoo ever... In fact, I went and got it fixed at Tribal Rites and they have 5 stars from me, always. I got my first tattoos there and would recommend it as a million times better alternative any day as a place for professionals who care about the people they are tattooing.

I have been coming here for a long time to get tattoos and piercings. Mostly tattoos. When I called the other day to schedule a tattoo with my usual artist I was told he no longer worked here. I was super scared to let another artist go to town on my arm but Mikes book and work online looked good so I decided to give him a chance. Best thing I ever did! He did such an amazing job on my tattoo!!! I actually came back two days in a row. The first tattoo was 3 hours with lots of detail and the second was some script to go with it. I am so happy with his work and his personality is great! Super nice guy! Everything you’d want in an artist. I’ll be coming back to Mike for all my tattoo needs! Highly recommended! Thanks Mike!

Jojo is great and incredibly professional while still being very funny and kind. Hes done seven of my piercings and theyve all been great. I really recommend him and this shop overall.

Rayni is an excellent artist with a light touch. She is serious about sanitation and hygiene. She worked with my Mom and I on our matching tattoos which weren’t very exciting but she took great care. Tattoos are healing well!

Ive yet to get any tattoos here, but Ive been in for a couple piercings in the last several months. Jojo always takes the time to make sure he has my piercing lined out just the way I want it. Hes great at what he does and hes quick, too. I went in for a piercing last week that I was really nervous about due to the placement. I was concerned it would be much more painful than any of my other piercings have been. I laid on the table trembling, seriously considering making a run for it, but he was already finished with my piercing before I realized he had started. Hes always happy to answer any questions I have on healing time or anything of that matter. The shop is also very speedy in their response time if I message them with questions on their Facebook Messenger as well. Im always treated well when I go into the shop and I will continue to go to them for any future piercings I may want. Hell, I may even start getting tattoos, who knows?

Freakshow is the best!! All of the staff is extremely friendly and courteous, the shop is kept extremely clean, and the artists have an insane amount of talent.I just had a 6 hour piece finished up by Casey and he was fantastic. I walked in with an idea of what I wanted, but when I came back to see what Casey had drawn up I was blown away. He incorporated all the elements I wanted, but it was so much better than I had imagined.That tattoo process was great. I had the outline done in one sitting, and came back a second time for the color. The detail is incredible, all the lines are straight (even though I flinched a few times), it has flawless shading, and impeccable color. I couldnt be more pleased with my new tattoo!I absolutely would not go anywhere else, and would recommend this shop and Casey to anyone looking for a professional custom tattooing experience.

My friend and I called prior to going in for a consultation and the woman we spoke with seemed very friendly over the phone. Upon walking in we were greeted as as if we were lowlifes causing trouble. We expressed interest in getting tattoos to celebrate my friends birthday. The gentlemans demeanor completely changed upon finding out that the tattoo I wanted was to celebrate my pride as a gay man and he was completely rude and disrespectful to me and my friend. Would not recommend going to a shop when the person altering your body and putting art in your skin wont treat you with respect or address you with a kind and polite tone.

I received my first tattoo here. I got coordinates done by Jeremy, he was super friendly and made me feel comfortable and relaxed. However, the lines were not as clean as I have seen or as I believe they could have been. Some of the numbers were slightly uneven and not identical and a period is also missing in between some of the numbers. I still like the tattoo and what it means to me, but I would have liked a cleaner piece of art.

I arrived and everything seemed great until as I was signing the paperwork. My friend asked the artist a question about what kind of tattoos he specializes in. I could immediately tell they didnt approve of the tattoos I was asking for as it didn’t appeal to their taste or style.When we asked him to clarify what he meant by that he turned to me and said I’d regret these tattoos in 5 years and that I was only getting them because it was fashionable to do so, not because they meant anything to me. I decided to opt out of receiving a tattoo from someone who felt so openly regulatory to others body art.While Im sure some people who come in for tattoos maybe in fact be asking for fad tattoos; I feel its a bad business model to assume thats always the case, and even if it were, to be so closed minded and openly advertise their disapproval. It felt rather dismissive and off putting in the moment.I cant speak for the other artists but I wouldnt recommend Jeremy Flebbe.

I got my daith pierced by Jo-Jo five days ago. He did an amazing job! My mom got her tragus done and he did a good job on that too. He does a good job at piercings. Also piercing prices are very reasonable. It is a very nice and clean shop. The way they do aftercare for piercings is neat. I live in Minnesota and I definitely will be going to get piercings from freakshow from now on instead of the shop I go to back home!!

Talented staff, super patient and absolutely willing to work with you on what you want. Kaden had me in and out in abut an hour, but my tattoo doesnt look rushed at all, it looks incredible. Even better than what I had asked for. Overall super satisfied, and Ill definitely be coming back here for future tattoos.

I got a sternum piece done by Casey recently. I absolutely LOVE it! The shop was great - super clean and everyone was so friendly. I have a medical alert dog for migraines and seizures. She is extremely well trained. I keep her clean and brush her daily. She accompanies me everywhere as medical equipment. I have brought her into tattoo shops before with no issues. She stays out of sterile areas and is extremely well trained so most people dont realize she is there.Today I was rudely denied access to this shop, which is against the law. I tried to compromise and offer to stand next to the door while I waited for my friend to get pierced because I understand keeping a shop clean, even if it is technically against the law. They said I could tie her outside in the 90 degree heat in the sun. Sorry, I will not be tethering my $8000 piece of medical equipment outside while Im at risk to a seizure inside.Train your employees better.

I went in today for the 13$ Piercing and was really happy with everything, even waiting for 2 hours in line. The three stars are for when I paid. My piercer, they call him Joe-Joe, was so great and put me at ease. I asked him the gauge of the nose stud and he told me 18, the standard size. I was going to get a ring but decided against it. I went to pay my 13$ and was told that the piercer has upgraded me to an 18$ piercing with the stud he put into my nose. I was really confused and actually talked to the Joe-Joe so I could get my 5$ back. He absolutely insisted he informed me that the stud would be 18$ and the ring would be 13$ because hes been doing it for four hours already and had the routine down. His only solution was to put a ring in my nose instead of the stud that was already in there. Very frustrating customer service.

Just got pierced at Freakshow tonight - JoJo was my piercer. Excellent experience. The jewelry selection was exactly what I wanted - he was very patient and able to build upon my pre-existing piercings. Did an excellent job of lining up my new piercings with the ones I already had. Answered every question I had and then some. Overall a great laid back atmosphere - I will definitely be going back either tomorrow or next week to get the rest of my piercings. Out of my experiences in NYC and RI - JoJo really was a cut above.

Got my first tattoo here almost a decade ago done my Dan, who I went to high school with; he is an exceptionally talented individual. Is do not have many photos where you can fully see the wolf atm. I will only have him touch his work so when I get it touched up I’ll have to go to LA where he got recruited to.

I got my nose pierced by Cherish and I thoroughly enjoyed the process. She answered all my questions and concerns with a fun, silly, spunk about her. I really like the way the piercing is set and it looks great. She will absolutely be getting my business later on when I am ready to add more holes to my body.

After talking with my artist for about a week I went in for my appointment and everything was going smoothly. While getting my tattoo my artist kept going on about how he hates simple tattoos ( as I got a symbolic message consisting of lines) and that it was essentially a waist of his talents. And all he did to wrap my tattoo was he just put on a piece of cling wrap without wiping my tattoo off or anything. The other two artists that were in the studio were so nice and professional so I know this is a good place to get a tattoo, I just got stuck with an unprofessional artist. Like I would have much rather gone to a different shop than my artist tell me that my tattoo is boring and in his own words “ small tattoos like this are just kindove dumb ya know?” Idk

Got my smiley done here! Love the atmosphere, everyone was so nice and I felt safe and welcomed. It was $25 with jewelry, but remember to always tip your piercer. Highly recommend this pace!

I got my first tattoo from Casey over a year ago. It was a great experience, so I went back a few times for more. He suggested one of them and drew it for me. I liked it so much I had him go ahead and tattoo his design. Even a year later, Caseys artwork still looks great. I will definitely go back for more in the future.

Very mellow but energetic vibe the moment we walked in. Joe answered the phone and was encouraging and supportive - he was just as much so in person. The whole process took about an hour but I always knew what to expect and he regarded my two-word tattoo as if it was a 500-word sonnet. Quality is definitely in their business plan, as is a very clean shop. PS: Dont let the exterior fool you, its all about country music once you get inside:)

I wish I remembered my piercers name, and I feel so bad that I dont. But I came here to get a daith piercing to help my migraines. it was kind of one of those last-minute decision things and Im so glad that I decided to go to freak Show. My piercer was absolutely fantastic and made me and my friends that came with May laugh the entire time. My Aftercare has gone super smoothly thanks them and I am 100% happy with my piercing.

Terrible experience overall... my tattoo is half complete and Im waiting for a removal consultation. I lost track of how many bathroom/smoke breaks were taken in that 2 hour period. What should have taken no more than 2 hours is only half way done. I wish I wasnt so passive and I wish I had left immediately when I first realized it was a terrible idea. Save yourself, your time, and your money. Go somewhere else.

Incredible experience. I have 5 tattoos, each from a different artist around the country and freakshow is my favorite shop by far. Awesome vibe, and top quality talent. Topher put about 5 hours into my forearm piece and I couldnt be happier with the art, the tattoo came out even better than I could have imagined on my own (sign of a good artist) and I could tell he genuinely was excited to watch it grow into a full sleeve. I went in for a nose piercing on Saturday. I got a stud. Initially, everything was fine. On Monday I woke up and the stud had disappeared in to my nose indicating the jewelry he used for my nose was too small. I am now in Omaha nebraksa visiting family and had to visit a different shop because the screw had almost come completely out. The second shop I went to said the jewelry was cheap, the placement on mynose was terrible, and that I should have been advised to get a hoop. Maybe there tattoo artists are good, but for a piercing go elsewhere.

My girls went here for piercings and they took excellent care of them. Very professional and clean.

Honestly, I was so disapointed with the customer service I received. I made an appointment for my first tattoo and was looking forward to the experience. I have had many friends who had such good tattoo experiences with Freakshow. To me it was a no brainier choose this place of of all the tattoos shops in Fort Collins.Im wishing I had chosen elsewhere. I wasnt told anything about their cleaning procedures or really anything about the process, and when I asked. I was told I was being salty as f**k by another worker. I wasnt trying to be rude, there is just a stigma with tattoo places and cleanliness. I didnt receive anysort of information or details and when I asked about aftercare, by tattooer told me most people dont ask. But just use aquaphor and that was it.I can understand why a small tattoo may seem not like a big deal to experienced artists, but to me this was an important memorial piece and I was nervous about it all. And I felt unwelcome and judged for having questions that were never really answered.I didnt think this was a huge deal until talking with other friends who have gotten tattoos from other establishments and told me they would have left immediately after having received this service. And now I feel wierd about the wholeexperience now. I hate leaving negative reviews, but everyone I know was so put off by my experience that I felt that I had to say something.However, my tattoo looks great and has healed very nicely & was affordable, Just not what others would call a good first tattoo experience on the service front.

My boyfriend has gotten all his tattoos here love them very happy on that end. We went in at 532 pm. I was wanting a piercing that day and was googling how bad it was going to hurt. We waited on the couch for 15 minutes. I laid down on my boyfriends shoulder and dozed off. He woke me up and we went home it was 608. Idk what the piercer was doing to the group in the room but that was ridiculous.

I got my first Tattoo here 2 years ago. They did a amazing job and walked me through it. My Tattoo still looks amazing and I get compliments on it all the time. I have gotten a few other Tattoos since then from other places and they dont look as good as the one I got here. I highly recommend this place.

Mixed feelings about this place... my sister and I went to get new tattoo and new peircings. My peircings came out great love them!!! The tattoo on the the other hand never happened because the so called artist cut my sister shaving her wrist where there is no hair... maybe if he would have just slowed down a lil bit it would have been fine but he was in hurry from the beginning. Weird thing was he was the only going about 100 mph that night... makes ya wonder... i would not suggest getting tattooed here... the peircer jo-jo was fantastic tho!!!!

My Brother and I got matching Tattoos by Flebbe at Freakshow - He was awesome to work with and super accommodating. By far one of the best tattoo experiences Ive had.On a side note, I see that several reviews for Freakshow call it Over Priced - First off, I think that their prices are about the same as any other REPUTABLE Tattoo shop that I have set foot in (anywhere in the US). Sure, if you look hard enough, you can find a shop that will do a back piece for $150 - and the artist wont be able to finish it because he has to go back to prison for getting caught with his 2nd meth lab (which is what happened to me when I was 18 and thought $700 for a back piece was too much). So do yourself a favor, realize this is artwork - and discount artwork comes from discounted artists.

Recently got a piece from Topher Wood and Im not thrilled. Asked for black and grey and he took the liberty to add color without saying anything to me. Any tattoo artist worth their salt should at least say something if thats how they want to do their design. This is my first tattoo with color and I didnt want it, cant do much about it now besides say CONSENT IS AN IMPORTANT PART OF PERMANENTLY MARKING SOMEONES BODY.The design was what I asked for and technically hes an excellent artist (executed well) but if you have specific tastes this isnt the place to go because he doesnt seem to respect them.

Even though they were busy they were cool calm and collective. I did a walk in piercing and that wasnt an issue, they made sure I knew what I was getting and how to take care of it. They were very professional and helpful

Ive been working on a peice with one of the Tattooists for the past 4 months and I really felt their efforts should be noticed. I mention my time frame because Ive seen a lot of customers come and go during my sessions.My tattooist specifically has always given the utmost class act of professionalism. Hes been straight forward from the get-go, letting me know if my ideas are too unreasonable, but hes always been open-minded to new ones. What really motivated me to write this review was because of an incident that had nothing to do with me, but I witnessed it.After the artist taped me up, I began to grab my things and a previous customer came in. He had started an arm sleeve at Freakshow, went somewhere else to get more work done on it, and then came back in thinking he could just continue from there. The artist respectfully told him he couldnt continue to do that arm sleeve because his work was no longer his own. The artist said hed be glad to start a new piece, but would prefer to no longer work on that original peice. Well, the customer was not happy, and stormed out.The hard work and pride that these guys take in their work is second to none. They arent money hungry, they have no hesitation in turning work away, and if they think a customers request/idea is outside their reppitoir, they gladly refer another artist who can give the customer what they need. Much respect.

Today, my Fiancé & I went and got our tattoos, they are about 2inchs big and the tattoo is only of an I&S, its only writting too! And my Fiancés tattoo is messed up as well! We got charged 80 dollars for each and they guy said, it was a complicated tattoo but we have tattoos on our leg that were only 60 dollar each and they are bigger and have more detail and it was from the same shop just about a month ago, I believe that I got ripped off and it should have been 80 for both of them and not for each!I would not recommend Jeremy from Freakshow

There were maybe two real artists working there and anyone else seemed to just be someone hanging out. They try their best, but it just wasnt good for me. The have an apprentice working there, so keep that in mind when you go. Hes a nice kid, but still inexperienced.

Their piercing jewelry is way cheap and I paid $70 to get my belly button pierced. My body rejected the piercings because of the low quality, plastic-like jewelry. I’m very angry and upset that I wasted so much money here.

I went in to get a tattoo done on my foot. I unfortunately didnt have anyone to come with me during my appointment time but my artist made me feel comfortable and talked to me the whole time to help keep me distracted. I love how it turned out and am proud to say I got it done at freakshow I will be back for more.
