Good Afternoon

This is such a cool tattoo studio. My artist, Luz, did such a good job on my tattoo. I fully intend on coming back and getting more. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking at getting a tattoo.

I have not been this impressed with a shop or group of artists in a long time. Polite, friendly, respectful and fun! The quality of my tattoo is impeccable! Day three and it is healing better than any other I have had in the past. Jesus was gentle with my skin and made sure I knew all aftercare procedures. The shop was clean and had a really relaxing and inviting atmosphere. I will be going back in the very very near future!

Aly was my artist and she did a wonderful job. Her line art is clean and she worked quickly and efficiently. She’s also super nice, and her prices aren’t too high. Will definitely be getting more work from her!

In the last year Goodafternoon Studio has been a place not only of amazing art and talented artist, but also one of inclusion and diversity! I was new to tattoos last fall, but went to one of their apprentices at the time (now one of their amazing tattoo artists) to get a design I liked. They made me feel safe and comfortable. I came back for another piece from them and met some of their other artists. They have an amazing line up of artists that can do all kinds of tattoos!!! They make you feels comfortable and safe. It’s an amazing and fun shop That’s totally inclusive to all! I can’t wait to go get another piece done soon.

Good Afternoon is an AMAZING studio with some of the sweetest staff I’ve ever met. I was so nervous about my first tattoo but my artist Luz was so awesome and really worked with me to make sure I was incredibly comfortable! The experience was top notch and I adore the art I got; I’m so happy I got it from them! Thank you again!

I loved working with my artist. Jesus made every step of the tattoo process comfortable. The only thing problem I had (which wasnt even a big deal) was I didnt get to see my design til right before we tattooed it but I didnt mind too much and I bet if I communicated that I would have liked to see it before the session we would have worked it out just fine. My artist checked in multiple time through the session to make sure I was doing okay as it was my first tattoo. I really enjoyed my experience!

I have gone here for my last few tattoos and the staff have all been so welcoming and knowledgeable! Sierra is IMMACULATE in both personality and talent. She is so considerate and pays so much attention to detail (and makes bomb anime designs!!) I have been to so many different studios, and can say without a doubt this is my favorite by far. If you are considering getting something this is place to go.

Not gonna lie, came in nervous for my first tattoo. However, Sierra made me forget about that immediately. She was so welcoming and stoked that I completely forgot I was ever nervous. Everyone in the shop is so welcoming and Sierra made the experience comfortable, so much so, I went back in for a second one a month later. 10/10 experience and Sierra’s work is phenomenal.

Sierra Chambers is my artist and she is the best!! She kills my tattoos every time , she always makes me feel comfortable in the chair and she’s the sweetest person ever. She’s the only artist I 100% trust tattooing my body , and I’ve gone to her for every single one of my tats.She always brings my visions to life and her designs are dope as hell.Book with her ‼️

I got my bicep piece done by Sierra and my red lettering done by Jesus. I am so in love with these tattoos! I get compliments nonstop on my bicep piece! Even my good friend had to go get tatted by Sierra after seeing mine!:) I highly recommend Sierra—and the shop in general! It is very clean, everyone is friendly, and it is inclusive! Its the only tattoo place I’ll go to!

I came in nervous, since this was my first tattoo. Jesus did my tattoo and he was very nice. He explained everything well and made me feel super comfortable. In the end I loved my tattoo, and will definitely be back for more.

100000% will be returning.The establishment and artists from observation, everything was insanely clean and sterile which is so important, everyone was welcoming and happy excited to see what you were doing and what brought you into the shop, so much positive energy!Overheard between artists and clients: There was communication, reassurance, checking in with their clients was heard from every single artist working. Everyone was listening and understanding on what was being explained and the process, they were flexible for change and offered honesty for expectations with through aftercare instructions!!The artist I had the pleasure and opportunity to be tattooed by was Ellehoodman. They were the absolute best! Light hand, reassuring when things were going to potentially feel a bit more to set proper pain level expectations, so much thought was put into making sure I was comfortable. They took all of my ideas and customized an absolutely stunning design! I will be back for future phases to be added on! I am beyond happy with their work and talent. I don’t know what the next session will be because I am leaving the artwork in their incredibly capable hands but I am already scheduling all of my future sessions with them!! I am so excited to see where their design journey will go!! They really made the entire session a wonderful experience!!Thank you!! I will be seeing you soon!!

I have been extremely happy with my detailed tattoo that was done by Sierra. She helped come up with something that really means alot. i will be back especially for how chill she is and for the effort she puts into her work. 😎

I recently had the opportunity to get a tattoo by Jayden. I had a nasty scar on my leg, near my ankle, and wanted to cover it with unique art. Jayden has a creative, unique style that I’ve admired for awhile. When they had a late evening opening, I was ready to book! The studio is very comfortable and has chill vibes. Perfect if you’re looking to sit for a large piece. Jayden made my experience a positive one as they were welcoming and conversational. They gave me great aftercare tips, as it was my first leg tattoo, and it has healed beautifully! Now I’m not insecure about showing off my leg because it features their amazing art!! 10/10 for Jayden and the Good Afternoon studio. I’ll definitely be back!

My artist (Mel) did great work. It healed really well, and fast! People who know more about tattoos than me compliment the stippling.

I went to good afternoon to touch up a cheap tattoo and add a floral design! I picked Jayden because I absolutely loved her shading online. And I was not disappointed with her final product. Absolutely love it, loved her ideas and what she added onto my older tattoo! And loved even more the roses. Very excited to go back to get a Pokémon evolution line done!

This tattoo shop is BY FAR the best I’ve ever been too, great tattoo artists with amazing energy and chemistry. They make you feel welcome off the bat. My artist was Ashley. She was amazing for me, we were able to communicate and add things we both thought would be amazing for the piece and her own ideas and creations were perfect for my style. You cannot go wrong with coming to this shop!

Good afternoon is by far, the best tattoo shop I’ve ever been to. The environment was nothing but kind and welcoming, and i felt so comfortable around everyone there. The artist, Jayden, who did my tattoo, took my idea and brought it to life. They did absolutely amazing with not only the tattoo, but making me feel invited and comfortable during the whole process. I will definitely be coming back to this shop in the future!

I have 6 tattoos from Brooklyn now and i will keep going for a long time. This shop is so nice and everyone is very nice when i talk to them. I can’t recommend this place enough!! I’ve taken several people there and they all love it too!!

I had a great experience at good afternoon! I have been getting tattoos for the past three years and I have gone to four artists. At Good Afternoon I found an artist that does work that I want to show off. Everyone working there was so nice and they were very open to anyone who walked through the door. I especially like that like all great tattoo artists they provided a more custom design as well as the design I messaged them wanting. I had Lexi and she was patient with me when adjusting the tattoo to fit what I pictured.The environment was open and sterile. It also was not overwhelming with the stuff on the walls, but still got to see each artists’ work on the walls. The pricing also for the tattoo obviously varies but I found it to be very reasonable. I definitely recommend all the artists here and definitely will be coming back for more!

Aly is great! Phenomenal artist with really fun flash designs, and she might be the nicest artist I’ve gotten a tattoo from. Great shop as well!

Ive been wanting a male pin-up for a while. I was so fortunate to have found Kino, an apprentice at New Renaissance. They took my idea and ran with it and made a beautiful work of art. Its my favorite tattoo! Kino is a joy to work with. I got to speak with other artists and the owner as well. They are all wonderful. Great shop and it is very clean. I highly recommend Kino to anyone, and I trust the other artists are great too. Youll be happy with the results!

Charlie is my go to guy. Very spot on in his work and gives off a comfortable vibe- especially for first timers. Good Afternoon studio itself has lots of talented artists from all different backgrounds and all have many different styles. Clean and respectable place to get tattoos :)

Ive been to Good Afternoon several times and every single time they floor me! Jesus has done 3/5 of the tattoos I have and theyre all of my favorites! His line work is amazing, hes fast, affordable, and the experience is just overall really comfortable. 10/10 recommend this studio to all of my friends and Ill come back for all of my tattoos!

Excellent folks. Super fast and worth every penny! I drive 3.5 hours to get my tattoo put on. Yes it was so worth it. Kino was my artist and explained everything wonderfully.

Jayden is not only an amazing and authentic individual but they always go above and beyond. Past experiences at other studios in Fort Wayne made me hesitant to get a detailed piece of a bird but last year I decided to contact Jayden and I am so grateful I did!! I audibly went WOW! when I saw the finished design. They always find a way to make a design work. They also understand skin depth— which other artists do not— thus all of my ink from them is not rough and bumpy and ugly, rather it is smooth and detailed and clean! I will continue to work with Jayden for my inky dreams!!!

All the artists here are so friendly and patient! The vibe is top notch. Jesus recently did an Arabic text tattoo on me and my husband and he nailed it! It is petite and perfect, and done with such elegance. This is clearly a safe space for everyone to feel comfortable. We will be returning soon!

Got my first tattoos by Sierra. She was amazing. Sent her my ideas, she made them her own and better than I could have imagined. Very talented artist and very fun personality. It was an all around great and fun experience. I will be back!

Love this studio and its artists! you can tell this studio promotes the individuality and creativity of each individual artist. i have only been tattooed by lexi, she has a very light hand and her lines are so crisp, i have four tattoos from her and recommend her to anyone!

Ashley at Good Afternoon made getting my first tattoo a dream! She walked me through every detail of what she was doing, was thorough with instructions and information, and was most accommodating, as well! Anything I needed she was totally up for. Her execution of my tattoo was absolutely flawless, might I add. All of the artists in the studio had great attitudes, and were friendly to everyone! Very personable folks! They felt like a small family. My nerves about tattoos left quickly after my experience here, and I’m excited to get more done with this studio! I can’t recommend them enough!

What an amazing tattoo shop! Super cute, as soon as I walked in I felt welcomed, there was art made by local artists for sale and some super cute earrings for sale as well which I thought was fun. The atmosphere was chill, and welcoming, I really enjoyed my time there. I was tattoo by Lexi and she absolutely killed it. I’m obsessed with my piece, it was exactly what I was envisioning. I rescheduled with her for May, I enjoy the vibes of this shop and love their support for other local artists here as well. They have a really talented group, I 10/10 recommend✨✨

The artists are super supportive of each other and super kind to clients, even if theyre not the ones working with you. I recommend this shop to all my friends.

I LOVED having Jayden as my artist! My tattoo healed over and the appointment was super casual. I was able to be comfortable in a silent appointment without feeling like I was letting a complete stranger do my tattoo. On top of that, it turned out great!! Definitely worth it!

The atmosphere is super comfortable and everyone is so friendly no matter who’s station you are at. I usually go to Lilac for my tattoos because they’re super lighthanded and reassuring asking if I’m okay after a while. Each artist has their own style which is awesome if you’re a walk in cause then you have the options. This shop is always my top recommendation for people looking for good artists.

I took my daughter for her first tattoo for her 20th birthday. Brooklyn was very on point had everything ready to go was polite and courteous and respectful shop was clean. Well-maintained. Even the bathroom was fresh, scented and very clean. I would definitely recommend Brooklyn and the shop to friends and family excellent.

I was tattooed at this studio in Feb. and it was one of the best experiences I have had while getting tattooed. It also happened to be my first time getting tattooed by a female tattoo artist and the difference was night and day. I felt more comfortable from the moment I walked in the shop. I highly recommend going and getting some ink done by any of their artists.

Kino did a cover up on my arm. I asked for a custom design in color. I sent them images of what I liked and what I was covering. First, the work is beautiful, I love my tattoo and am so happy with the quality. The old tattoo is barely seen anymore, you have to really look for it. Kino captured exactly my style with the design and colors used. I also want to comment on the experience. I’m autistic and have bad social anxiety, so while I love tattoos, I get really nervous about the whole process. Kino made me feel very comfortable and even allowed me to select a silent appointment. We talked about necessities and they checked in with me to check how I was doing with the pain, but otherwise I listened to a podcast, and they did their work. Even if I hadn’t selected a silent appointment, I would have been calm as Kino is approachable and kind. I would recommend anyone to go to them for their quality of work, but if you have anxiety, they’re an easy artist to work with.

Kino is who usually tattoos my wife and I and they are fantastic! I have also been tattooed by a few other artist at shop and they are all incredible. A very welcoming and clean environment and a place I always recommend to family and friends!

Lauren Hoodman is the best of the best! I love my tattoo by them, and they made me super comfortable during my time at the shop. Tattoos make me nervous, so their calm and friendly presence truly elevated my experience! Will be returning 🖤

Back in March myself and my girlfriend went in for our first tattoos with Charlie and it was an awesome experience!! 1000% planning to go back! He even opened up early in order to get us in, we got to meet a few of the other artists and they were just as cool and friendly as he was.

I’ve been here multiple times and gotten tattooed by Lauren who has helped me start my patchwork sleeve. She’s an amazing artist and so sweet. I’ve also been tattooed by Jayden who was at a different location at the time. Everyone here is so talented and welcoming and I tell everyone to come here when they ask about my tattoos.

I mean, there’s literally no other place to go. Charlie is absolutely the best artist I’ve ever encountered, and really just an all around amazing dude. This is the place you come, and the guy you work with, if you want something done right or want the artist to truly do their thing (as they should). The experience was great, it was a super chill environment which is always nice especially when getting a tat. The people working there were cool, same goes for the artist that did mine, bro knew what he was doing & he was helpful when I got a little lightheaded after the tat was finished.

I had the most wonderful experience at New Renaissance Studio! Jesus runs an absolutely fantastic shop that has the most comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. I especially appreciate that they are very focused on creating a safe space all folks, especially LGBTQIA+ identities. From you moment you walk in, you feel immediately at ease as you’re greeted by a room full of friendly, professional, and skilled artists. My artist was Kino and they were very warm, understanding, and calm. They explained everything that was going to happen in the process from start to finish with ease. They were very comforting during the process and made sure to check in and see if I needed a break. Afterwards, they made sure to set me up for success with after care information, in which they were very knowledgeable in. I would absolutely recommend everyone to consider New Renaissance for all your tattoo needs!

Made the 2-ish hour drive from Lafayette for my visit. This is great tattoo shop that’s queer + poc friendly. The artists that made my first tattoo a breeze. Brooklyn was my artist and i HIGHLY recommend. the other artists were very welcoming and made great tattoos while i was there tooi liked it so much my second appointment is already scheduled ;)

Had a great experience getting a tattoo from Kino today! They made a beautiful design of my cats and were so patient with all the breaks I needed. The piece turned out wonderfully. The studio had a great atmosphere, really welcoming and chill.

Kino did an AMAZING job with my tattoo! I wish I could leave more than 5 stars. They were incredibly accommodating and they made me feel totally comfortable in every way. I went and got a water color tattoo done by Kino today and they definitely met my expectations of what I wanted! They were also so kind and made sure that I was comfortable before, during and after my session was all finished! I definitely recommend Kino and everyone else at the New Renaissance tattoo.

Booked an appointment super last minute with Chey for the Friday the 13th flash special. She did a spooky lil 3 eyed hairless cat and absolutely crushed it! Everyone in the studio was busy, but the vibes were great and I’ll absolutely be back for some more work (and to say hey to Meatball the shop turtle)!

I go to Alicia & let me tell you i love that girl so much. im never disappointed in her work. I’m pretty indecisive on what i want and i always tell her to do whatever she thinks looks best & will go best with my other tattoos & she never fails me. she always knows exactly what to do & i love what she does every time. she takes her time & makes sure everything looks perfect. 100% recommend her for all your tattoos needs.

All the artists work displayed through the shop is incredible. I hit up Charlie for a few anime tattoos, that have turned out to be some of my favorite tattoos! Great space, killer vibe and overall killer art.

As a trans person, I want to feel comfortable in a space if I’m going to spend a couple hours getting needles shoved into my skin. Kino and Jesus did an amazing job making me feel welcome and comfortable as I got my tattoo. Not only that, Kino did an incredible job on my tattoo! They’re absolutely an artist—their line work is crisp and the colors and shading are perfect. I’m definitely going to be coming here for any tattoos I need in the future, which are sure to be many.

I’ve booked with Jayden TWICE now & had a wonderful experience both times! The tattoos were fairly painless, as tattoos go & Jayden gave clear aftercare instructions (both of them have healed beautifully!) In my experience, my safety safety and comfort were prioritised, and everyone was extremely accommodating. I’ve brought all of my friends here since, and will be returning myself! 1000000/10, I’ve never felt more at home getting inked up:) Also we watched Shrek.

Kino is finishing up their apprenticeship and I was so lucky to get some of their art tattooed on myself! Their color work in the hand of glory flash I got it to die for. Literally the fading from the lights of the flame is so bomb. I get compliments on the color whenever people look at it. They also did a custom design Hamsa hand on my other arm that compliments my other tattoo and show their talent for line work as well. I have been searching for the artist who would make my tattoo for 5 years, and I finally found them here! Kino, who designed and inked my tattoo, was wonderful! It was my first time and they were so gentle and it only took an hour and a half. I will be coming back and doing more when I can!

I try to find an excuse to see Charlie and Lauren whenever I can for some new ink. Charlie gave me an amazing Pokemon tat which is still one of my favs. Considering Charlie is best know for black and grey designs, my full colored Dragonite showcases how natural my man is with some beautiful color work. Lauren is THE artist to go to for any fine line work. Not to mention her flash is always super cool. She may only be an apprentice, but carries herself as if shes been doing it for years. Go see my lovelies. Get tatted.

Brooklyn at Good Afternoon did a memorial piece for my father in law who just passed away. She did an amazing job, truly immaculate line work, and created a pretty, sweet design we can remember him with. The studio was really nice, clean, professional, and friendly.

I made a Facebook post about my friend getting her deposit stolen by a tattoo artist that cancelled her appointment. Sierra (Inori) personally reached out to me to see if I’d like to schedule with her instead and even offered her a better deal. She was very quick to respond to every question I had as well. It unfortunately didn’t end up working out time wise but she has absolutely amazing customer service that wowwed us both!

This shop is incredibly fun and chill, and I feel at home here. Sierra is an amazing artist, but I also want to say that I was the friend with intellectual disabilities, and it was all in good fun, there was no hate behind any of those jokes

I’ve been to Goodafternoon Studio a handful of time, it’s where I get all of my tattoos and I don’t have enough good things to say about this place! The energy in the studio is great and everyone is so respectful and gets along with each other so well, overall it’s just a really great experience every time I’m there!
