Karen did such an amazing job!! I am SO obsessed with my tattoo. She even got the head tilt! I called ahead of time to see if they could get me in today and luckily they did! This was such a great birthday present from my husband.🥰 Karen worked with me to see how I wanted my tattoo exactly and even took the time to perfect it and I will always appreciate an artist who does that. Hiram is awesome. Super personable. Very attentive to details. An added bonus....the tattoo shop is within walking distance of numerous bars and restaurants if you need a lunch break. Ill be going back to Dark Age for all of my future tattoos¡

Brought my daughter (10) in for ear piercing by Samantha. Such a wonderful experience! My kiddo was super nervous, but Sam took so much time with her and made her feel completely comfortable and safe. The piercings turned out perfectly and healed with absolutely no issues. Highly, highly recommend Samantha!

So when I entered the lobby, the people were fantastic! They were super nice and easy to talk to. then a very beautiful woman, Katie came and she lead me to her room. It was very small and cute. I sat down and then i got my nose pierced. It was a short and sweet moment. This was an amazing experience!

The place is so welcoming, everyone is so nice, and it was a very comfortable environment. My tattoo artist Hiram understood what I wanted and made it I to a reality, his design is so beautiful, and his line work is amazing! But each artist is very talented, very welcoming, and very understanding people! Thank yall so much! I cant wait to be working with yall more🩷

I needed a tattoo refreshed after a car accident 2 years ago caused some loss of ink. My tattoo had also faded considerably in the 6 years since I got it.Diego was great to work with. He took the time to fully rework my tattoo and offered suggestions to improve it. Im very happy with the outcome, and have already requested another session with him to fix another tattoo damaged in the accident.

Kimmie was great and the shop was extremely clean and professional. We were only in town for the weekend and they got us in on a cancellation for the time that worked best for us. Such a good experience and if we come back here, this is the place we will go!

I came in on Friday the 13th to partake in their specials with a group of 7 of us. All the staff were polite, professional, and went above and beyond to accommodate not only my group but everyone else waiting to receive their services. Their artists are amazing and so incredibly talented, and their piercers are precise and hygienic!

So far I have only gone for a Consult for what will be a very important and meaningful tattoo for me. My artist set up an appointment for me and we were able to talk about all my ideas. She was great at communicating expectations, pricing, and how everything would play out.The shop itself is probably the cleanest, well lit shop I have ever seen but still managed to be laid back. If you are looking for a luxury tattoo shop that has an endless range of pricing and services. Dark age is place. And if you are looking for black and white realism I highly recommended Sabrina Lakhasy.

Katie Burum is very kind and explained to me in detail the process of caring for my piercings. I highly recommend her. I have had 5 piercings done by her and the experience has always been the best.🙂👍🏻🫶

Dark Age Tattoo is awesome. Clean, open concept design, and both cool and artsy vibes Tony did a beautiful watercolor bird tattoo for me (my first!) And I love it. Gorgeous artwork and Tony is such fun to hang out with. I had a great experience.

This was my second tattoo with Crystal, she’s so awesome. I felt very comfortable advocating for myself with her, and that kind of environment is so important for me given some past experiences with others. Tattoo isn’t finished yet, but I already can’t wait to get back in the chair. Highly recommend this place to anyone who might get nervous during their appointment, every staff member I interacted with was super respectful and made this whole experience awesome and enjoyable. On top of that, my artist is also working in the medical field, so I know that I can 100% trust her aftercare instructions as well as the quality of the equipment.

The nicest people ever! Every part of the process was nice and thorough. Even though we showed up a little late they were so nice. Andrew made me feel so comfortable while tattooing and I felt very cared for 😊

Jair (Alex) gave us the best service! My boyfriend and I both came in as a walk in and were seen very quickly, especially for it being the middle of a weekend day. He obviously takes a ton of pride in his work and it shows, can’t recommend this place enough. All of the employees were super sweet also!

I researched for months before finally finding an artist that I felt could bring my vision to life, and that was Tony Maxwell. From our initial consult, Tony has been nothing less than warm and welcoming, and a wealth of knowledge, while still having an open mind and being very collaborative in the creative process. Not to mention my sessions with him are the most fun I’ve ever had with a tattoo artist. Even if it weren’t for the fact that he is one of, if not the most talented watercolor tattoo artists out there, he’s just a genuinely cool guy. I can’t wait to get back in and finish my sleeve, and I’ll be hard-pressed to go anywhere else that doesn’t meet the standards Dark Age has set.

Stephen was awesome! Our group of 4 was a walk-in and we were taken care of quickly. Stephen was thorough, made sure the placement was exactly where I wanted it, and made sure everything was perfect before I left the table. It was a difficult placement, but he was a champ. If I was a local, Id definitely come back for future tattoos.

I got my septum pierced by Sam and had the most wonderful experience. She made me feel very comfortable and took her time to explain the whole process. Her attitude and personality is top notch!! Highly recommend getting pierced by her. I look forward to having more work done by her. She let me take my time to decide what jewelry I wanted. Didnt make me feel rushed at all, seeing how nervous I was she went at a good pace. I shared with her a previous experience and she debunked and explained what my expectations should be. The piercing was practically painless. I enjoyed the whole experience. She made sure to reiterate that if I needed any help or had questions about the healing process I could reach out any time. My piercing is healing well and just a tad bit sore but thats to be expected. Overall 10/10.

David was awesome! I couldn’t be happier with my tattoo (top to bottom of my spine) which is saying a lot! David made sure the entire experience went well. Stephen Latka is your guy! His attention to detail is insane. I’m so picky but his craftsmanship was next level, I’ll definitely be back. On top of that… The studio was nice and clean, the other artists were really friendly, and he was big on making sure I felt okay! Water and energy drinks were on stand by just in case. 10/10 experience 🤘🏼 (pineapple done by a previous artist)

Sam is so amazing at what she does! She got a chain on my nose that Ive wanted since I got my double pierced nose 6 months ago at Sleepy Hollow (which I told them I wanted a chain and never contacting me after sizing my nose).Sam immediately worked with what she had and was fantastic and always will recommend her!! Ive had so many compliments on my chain and its a plus cause she also works in Aledo!! If your getting a piercing always ask for Sam!!

My experience at this studio was 11/10. I came in for multiple sessions and felt welcome every time. The staff was professional yet super nice and personable! Especially my artist Gerardo. Alex at the front desk was super helpful in making sure we had all of the required documentation for a minor nose piercing and Katie was amazing and very calming for my girl who was excited but a little nervous. If you get a piercing only go on Fridays or Saturdays and see Samantha! She truly is the best, she has done all the piercings I have and talks you through them and makes sure you are completely comfortable and that it’s what you like. She is so well known all over my town because she is just that good. I won’t ever have anyone else do my piercings. Just trust me, you will have an amazing experience with her every time!

I brought my 7 year old daughter here to get her ears pierced. I did a LOT of research - my daughter really wanted it done and I was nervous about where to go. Samantha was amazing and made my really anxious daughter feel incredibly calm and confident. She took her time to ensure that my daughter felt comfortable before she pierced her. Samantha even used a numbing spray so there would be no pain. Afterwards Samantha even had an huge bin full of really cool toys. Every part of this experience was fabulous. My daughter and I will remember this forever. Thank you Samantha!

Hector did an excellent job developing a design for my tattoo. He was easy to communicate with at the shop (and weeks prior via text messaging). I enjoy artistic text lettering/font designs and Hector was able to provide exceptional work for my “Kiowa” tattoo. The experience was professional and I would highly recommend Hector and all of the staff at Dark Age in Fort Worth for any tattoo work.

I cannot recommend this studio enough. From top to bottom they exude professionalism and artistry. I’ve had two pieces done on my entire arm and my wife had a piece done and we could not be happier with the results. They take your idea and just improve upon it. Get your tattoos done here!

Sam was very knowledgeable, the appointment was quick and the jewelry selection amazing! I will say the jewelry was pricy but so much better than having to get a big plain piece of jewelry you’re not happy with and living with it for2 months before you can change it out for something you actually like. The end result exceeded my expectations & was worth the extra cost!

Andy and Sam are both stellar piercers and between the two I know that all ten piercings they have done for me and my kids have turned out amazing. Much better than a mall gun piercing and thorough in their understanding of placement and jewelry selection.

They all seem to help each other out when needed and show different ways to do things. Stephen was my artist and he did a great job. I made an appointment to get some jewelry changed out, and ended up proceeding with a second nostril piercing. Katie was absolutely fantastic throughout the entire process. The studio was clean and comfortable, and Katie was very gentle and kind during our appointment. Just here for a consultation, i will update my review after i get the tattoo! stephen was super creative and thought of a great way to incorporate and obscure two small flash tattoos i got back in october 2023. his final sketch was gorgeous and i am excited to get the tattoo! he was really considerate and understanding of how i wasnt coming in with a clear idea of what i wanted my tattoo to look like and was easy to talk to.update: tattoo complete! very friendly artist named Stephen who was patient and compassionate got to finish my bird up. love my result sooo much!

Crystal did great from the start to the end!! She was able to bring my thoughts for my 13th tattoo to life. I wasn’t absolutely sure on placement so she helped me decide with attention on future tattoo placements and the contours of my body. The shop is extremely clean and well organized. It is an open floor plan so if you’re bashful you may want to talk with your artist first (I lost my modesty in the military LOL 🤷‍♀️). Crystal did still provide me with a very comfortably positioned chair and “hospital gown” (health care workers will giggle) for our session. Overall great experience and can’t wait to go back for more!!

My sister found Sam on a page for moms. I wanted to pierce my daughters ear but I wanted to avoid any needle gun. Sam was highly recommended by a lot of moms so I made the appointment. There are requirements, the youngest you can go is 5 months but we waited for 6 months. Sam was super great. She explained everything she was going to do. I did bring my own earrings for my daughter but Sam explained why my earrings were not recommended to use but she showed me others which made a lot more sense so I bought from her. Sam took her time to show us where she would pierce, she wasnt rushing. Once we got to piercing it went pretty quick. I would definitely recommend her. Thank you Sam!

I’ve been working with Kimmie since February. She has continued to amaze me every session. I had originally gone in to Dark Age Tattoo to start a sleeve and quickly decided I had wanted her to finish it after seeing her previous work. I cannot even describe how awesome Sam was!! This was my first piercing and I was so scared but she walked me (and my very anxious dad lol) through each step of the process. The studio was extremely clean and my comfort was always their upmost priority. Despite this being my first time getting a piercing, I never felt uncomfortable or unwelcome and I will 100% be back to get another!!

Crystal works very hard to bring a persons design idea to life, she spends time creating a work of art and it is important to her that you are excited about the outcome. She does beautiful color and shading work and I also have some fine line black work done by her as well. I do want to mention the comfortable vibe at this studio, it is a great place for anyone to get something they always wanted at any age. I have also had an excellent piercing done at Dark Age Studio. While here, I have observed other great tattooing artists as well, Crystal is highly recommended.

David - and all of the staff & artists at Dark Age - always provide a 5-star experience. In addition to being absolute masters in their crafts, these folks are just a joy to be around. I wouldn’t mind hanging here for a bit even if I wasn’t getting any work done! 😂

My artist Mani had moved to the new Dark Age location in Ft. Worth from the Denton location and it was my first time in the shop. It is a great location and Dark Age did an amazing job with the set of up this location. It is clean, well laid out, and the everyone is the shop make it a great environment. Would highly recommend anyone looking to get tattoo work done in DFW to check out any of the Dark Age locations and pick out one of the artist there. I personally can attest for Mani, and the quality of work he did to create a full arm sleeve tattoo.

SO I want to start by saying this shop is beautiful and clean. I wanted to love it. Booking was easy, staff was responsive, they had great reviews, etc.When we got there we had to wait almost an hour for the artist to arrive/to take us back. Once he did he had no idea what we wanted and had to sketch for another 15 minutes or so, despite me sending photos of what we wanted weeks before.All this I could EASILY overlook except it has been less than 6 weeks since I got my tattoo and it is completely GONE. I followed the care instructions exactly. Truly disappointing.

Darby has taken care of me 4 times now. She’s knowledgeable and kind and funny. Back in September, I went in with a nasty irritation bump in my nostril and she put me in a stud and was more than willing to answer all my silly questions. On Tuesday, I went and got a hoop in my nostril and it looks so cute. Then, on Wednesday, I went back in for their December piercing special and got a super cute flat piercing. Book with Darby!!!

I always have a great experience at Dark Age. This time was no different. Pamela, an apprentice, was amazing!! Her art is beautiful and I will wear it with pride. She kept me comfortable, allowed me to be in my own space when needed and was super friendly. This is my 4th tattoo by a Dark Age artist and I wouldn’t trust another shop.

Make sure to get pricing on piercings and jewelry before having it done. We were very surprised at the price for a few piercings and probably wouldnt have chosen to do multiple if we knew the cost up front. Other than that, this is a nice, clean facility and they are welcoming and friendly.

Did a walk in not expecting much. Contrary to my expectation, they had a artist, Diego, that was wonderful! Took my design, made some small tweaks and added his style at my request, and gave me a wonderful piece of art! Gave me specific and direct after care instructions. He also gave me some advice about the amount of Black work I had done; come back when heald to get touch ups done. I was amazed that they were able to get me in the same day and gave great service.P.S. Pic is post tegaderm.

This place is amazing! Everyone is really nice and professional. The place is spotless, I mean surgical room clean! My artist Gerardo Rodriguez, is awesome! He has done 2 huge pieces on me and is currently working on a 3rd. He is a true artist and his work is amazing! He works with you to make sure you are absolutely in love with the piece before starting. He is always on time and can work continuously for long periods of time. I will never use anyone else. Gerardo is my tattoo guy for life!!

Great experience here! They were cool and nice. My boyfriend and I walked in an hour before they were going to close and they were able to accommodate us. The tattoos turned out so good too! I had Ethan, he said he specializes in realistic detailed work but I think he did a great job with the line work on my sword too!

My eight year old daughter went to Dark Age Studios to get her ears pierced. Samantha did an amazing job piercing my daughter’s ears. She was fun, kind, and patient. She explained the hole process, made the piercing as painless as possible, and even rewarded my daughter with a treat at the end. I highly recommend Samantha for ear piercings on children! We came in and got some anniversary tattoos from Kimmie, and we love them! She was very quick- but not rushed- and light handed. We got blue stars with white outlines. The lines are super crisp, the blue is vibrant and the white outline really comes through. Kimmie did a great job!! Second tattoo we’ve gotten from here and my partner has got multiple piercings from Sam and Andy and every time QUALITY and SERVICE are steak sauce. A1 top notch🔥🔥

My husband and I have been here twice so far as walk-ins. Hector was the artist that we were paired with. He was incredibly accommodating considering that my husband is paralyzed. He was flexible and has been easy to work with. The entire staff have made our experiences here so far very nice.
