The entire shop staff is warm, friendly, and helpful.Sara, the tattoo artist, is phenomenal! Her communication skills ensure you get exactly what you want. I got a piercing here a couple of weeks ago and had an amazing experience. The staff were all friendly and the piercer was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. After my piercing that I was there for he sat with me for a bit and we discussed possibilities for other future piercings!The place was also very clean and I felt at ease there.

I got both of my nostrils pierced and it was a great experience! The shop itself is super cool and the staff are super friendly. The vibes are top tier.I have VERY sensitive skin and I had never been able to get a piercing without getting an infection… and I haven’t gotten any 🤯The shop is very clean and they only use high quality jewelry! (I got titanium studs) I will rate it 1000/ 10. I also got the aftercare that they sold and it to is really good 👍🏾I plan to get more piercings here in the future and would 100% recommend that my friends and family visit this shop!

Can’t express enough how much I appreciate the way Silas treated my daughter. My little girl is 5 years old and the other day she said she was brave enough to get her ears done. He was extremely friendly with her, made her feel super comfortable and he’s an absolute professional. Can’t recommend these guys enough! Will be a repeat customer for sure! Anytime I want a piercing, I go to Silas. Super great, knows what he’s doing, and funny! I’ve gotten a total of 4 piercings from him, and they have gone great. Even when I just have questions, I can DM him and he’s super helpful. Always recommending him to friends.

There could not have been a better shop for my first tattoo than Fade to Black. I was greeted by friendly and welcoming staff and was immediately attended to. Audra was the best! I have gone to Silas for my vertical labret and mantis piercings (forward nostrils). He is such an amazing piercer! I take/recommend my friends and family to go to him! Especially since he uses jewelry that is 100% titanium!Also, Alex is such a talented and rad guy! I have been tattooed by him twice, and always get compliments on both pieces!The staff here is awesome and super sweet! Very calm environment for my fellow friends who get overstimulated.If you go want to get poked or tatted, this is the place to go!

My friend and I went in to get tattoos from Kenzie and they turned out great! They’re exactly what we wanted. She helped us figure out exact placement and gave great suggestions when we were deciding placement. Her line work is super crisp and our tattoos turned out exactly how we wanted. We decided to get piercings done by Silas after our tattoos were done and both of our piercings turned out amazing. It’s obvious that Silas is experienced and knows what he’s doing & talking about. He also made sure everything was sterile and that everything kept its sterility (which should be expected but some shops don’t actually do that). There was such a great, welcoming atmosphere the whole time we were there! Everyone was super friendly and clean in this shop! I highly recommend :)

Went to Silas to get my lobotomy done… he said no, so he did my frenum piercing instead. I’ve never been pierced before and Silas made it incredibly easy to trust him and be comfortable. Super happy with him following up after the appointment to make sure everything was healing correctly 10/10

I went with a friend for ear and nostril piercings about 4 months ago. Between us we got 4 piercings and unfortunately 3/4 have gotten infected with no similar issues at previous shops with other piercings.The piercer was very sweet though. We felt very comfortable throughout the whole process, I think we might’ve had issues with the jewelry that was used that day

So impressed with the professionalism and knowledge of piercer, Silas! I am beyond happy with my conch piercing and will most likely be coming back for another. Very quick, attentive, and light-hearted piercer! He made the experience extremely comfortable and easy-going. I highly recommend this shop for piercings.

Found this shop on google and gave them a shot. Made an appointment with Sven to get 2 smaller pieces done at once. He knocked them both out quickly and his hourly rate is definitely fair- he tattoos efficiently. Ended up waiting a while to schedule again, but he made time for me and I got some flowers added to the tattoo and scheduled another for the candle. Same experience this time and I’d recommend the shop to anyone looking for quality custom work!The shop itself is great! Easy access, nice set up and good vibes inside. I’ve felt like I can make myself at home here and I’m happy that I’ve found a shop I can’t count on! The artists are self scheduling from what I’ve found- this works well for my messy schedule and is to my benefit. 100% recommend this shop- I’ve only been tattooed by Sven but the other artists are easy going and their work looks quality as well!

I’ve come to see Audra B so many times before with my cousin, but I always forget to post about it! So here’s my most recent tattoo work done by her. The original work was done by another artist but she easily matched it to cover up my scars! The best part about getting a tattoo done by Audra is that not only can she freehand the drawing so well, she works REALLY fast and has very clean lines! So the tattoo process isn’t nearly as painful as other places since she finishes the piece in about half the time I was used to! On top of all this, she keeps everything extremely sanitized and clean for every client and takes her time to ensure this every time I come in! She is also just a sweet and funny person to get to know which made me even more comfortable during my appointment. Also note that you can bring in your own tattoo concept in for her to use and she will always execute it to your liking!Side note: the staff overall is very friendly and they offer soda or water when I come in! Plus the women’s restroom has a cute little area for feminine products and miscellaneous items.

May 2023 - Back for a 2nd round with Audra, I love her so much!! She convinced me to go red instead of all black and she was soooo right!!2022 - 1st Review Beyond happy with my cover up and Audra. Met with her a week prior to the appointment and felt so comfortable with her approach and process. My expectations were high going in and she far exceeded them, Im thrilled with how it turned out and couldnt have asked for a better experience start to finish! Also want to mention how clean the shop is and what a warm, really cool vibe it is. The staff was super nice and accommodating before, during and after the appointment. Such an enjoyable experience all around. Audra is just phenomenal!

I had a tattoo on my arm that I didnt like the looks of and Audra totally transformed it into a beautiful piece of art. Her attention to details like shading and her creativity are stellar. This is the second tattoo Ive gotten from her and each one is so beautiful, really works of art. Shes a pro and does a great job making the tattoo experience fun and enjoyable. The shops atmosphere is chill, with great decor and music. Highly recommend this place and especially Audra!

If I could give Silas 10 stars, Id still be trying to figure out how to give him fifty. I had my nipples pierced previously (not here) and was disappointed in my experience and with the placement. I decided to get them re-done after a while and I couldnt be happier with my choice to have Silas be the one to do it. He quickly put me at ease and made it as quick and painless as humanly possible. If youre looking for someone to poke holes in your body, theres no one I would recommend more than him.

I got 2 piercings done by Silas. He was awesome & helped re-pierce a piercing that I got many years ago that I wasnt happy with the positioning. Now it looks perfect. I highly recommend him. Ill be going back in a few weeks to get another piercing.

The staff was very kind and welcoming- offered a comfortable and relaxed environment. The place was very clean and well kept! Unfortunately, I wasnt a fan of the work. I got a simple tattoo and selected the artist that specialized in line design (majority of the design I was getting). The lines were not made even; with some areas thicker than others- even after getting it touched up 2 weeks after the initial. I pointed this out to the artist and they said that it even out once healed. Sad it didnt turn out the way I hoped!

He also explains the whole process and does his best to make you feel welcome and comfortable. Silas did a phenomenal job piercing my septum. If you want a piercing done correctly come here. There’s so many people walking around with misaligned septum piercings but not me thanks to Silas! Will be coming back for more in the future. You won’t be disappointed here even if you’re super picky about your piercing placements like I am :)

Just got my nostril piercing done by Sven. I called and he literally squeezed me in the same night. So nice, so professional, and he was extremely communicative through the whole process! Slight discomfort, as to be expected, but he was gentle and it was over in a flash. 10/10, cannot recommend enough for your piercing needs in the DFW area!

I have gotten two big pieces from this shop and I will never go anywhere else. The tattoo artist who did both my tattoos is a master of his craft. He was able to bring the vision for both of my memorial tattoos to life and his line work and shading are absolute perfection. I come here often, and the artists are all great the shop is clean, its a quiet environment with no stress. I feel super comfortable here. Ive been to many tattoo shops where I just didnt feel welcome or felt harassed I love this shop. All the artists do great work there is some one for everyone.

I had Chance Webb do my first tattoo 12 years ago. He soon moved to Fort Worth and opened this shop. I had my second tattoo in April. Love the shop and just love the skill and artistry from Chance. My wife and I got our work done by Chelsea. She did such a great job with everything! She was able to take what we wanted and add her own ideas to make the work better. I highly recommend coming to this shop for any tattoo, especially Chelsea (if you have a nerdy piece you want done. My tattoo was Star Wars related and my wifes was inspired by her love of reading.) There are a lot of great artists here with a lot of quality work.

Sven was awesome and communicated very well with me before, during, and after my tattoo experience. All the equipment was sanitized and everyone in the place was very professional. And it looks like they took alot of precautions for the Covid pandemic. My temperature was taken. I was tasked with a questionnaire with covid related questions. And myself and the rest of the staff were wearing mask. We even laughed together at how some people refused to wear one. I love my new tattoo and whenever I come up with another idea I am coming back here.

Stopped by while they were having a flash sale and was able to get in with little wait time and have the amazing Chel give me my first tattoo. 💜 She did an amazing job and made sure what I had pick would look good. Everyone was extremely nice and professional could not have picked a better place to get my first tattoo!

I had a great experience at Fade To Black Studio this weekend. This is a very nice and clean shop that really has a boutique feel to it. Its not your typically tattoo place as there are no things to chose on the wall and they seem to take pride in custom work. A friend works in the area and is into tattoos and recommend giving this place a shot as she had heard good things. After reaching out I was put in contact with Scotty to discuss my work. We set a couple of hours for a consultation and work. The consultation took a little longer than expected and I was on a schedule, so Scotty asked if Id come back because he didnt want to rush anything. Although this was kinda frustrating I instantly had more confidence in him as my artist as he is not just in it for the money and wanted to get it done right. He was extremely accommodating to my schedule and let me come in on Sunday to get the work done. He got me just what I wanted and was even patient with me and my OCD on getting the location just right. I love that he listened to what I wanted and brought his artistic ability to the piece. Very happy with the work and this tattoo shop!

Made an appointment for 6pm. Artist gave me a ton of attitude that they don’t do custom tattoos (very basic design) when they are busy. There was only 1 other patron in the shop and I waited for over an hour. Not only was I dissatisfied I was appalled by how rude the artist was. Don’t go here.

I got a Mac miller piece done by Tre with Pleasant Tattoo inside of fade to black and the piece turned out fantastic! He was extremely nice through the whole process and made the time seem like it was flying by. I cant say enough good things about not only Tre but of all the artist who would come by to check it out and just made it a nice environment! I definitely recommend checking them out!

I wish I could leave no stars. This isnt about the tattoo parlor itself, but about one of the artists. Brieana Jade is the most unprofessional person I have ever not worked with. Poor communication. No respect - I have the emails to prove so. She blames her customers (who paid a deposit) for the lack of communication. She moved locations to another city and expected you to wait 14 months for her services that she believes are the best. Refused to give a deposit back. Do not use her. There are other artists out there, ones with more professionalism than a paper bag.

I stopped in here on a whim for a conch piercing, a little afraid because of friends telling me about how much it hurt for them. Gentle Sven is gentle indeed, I barely felt a pinch and would call the whole experience incredibly pleasant. I’m definitely coming back.

Theyre all so nice and great at what they do. I got my tattoo done and my friends got their noses pierced. The guy who did my tattoo is way cute and nice and keeps your mind off of it, if its your first time. Were all definitely planning to go back.

Chance Web, the owner of this awesome shop has managed to make this place a very layed back and friendly place with incredably talented male and femail artist that really make you feel right at home and very comfortable like your a part of their family. The studio is old school art decor very clean and welcoming. The inks they use are very bright and last. I had both full sleeves done here by Chance Web with over 20+ years experience and he nailed the artwork and went way beyond my wildest expectations. I have never been more happy and proud to show off my awesome artwork. I get compliments everywhere I go. 2 years later the artwork is still bright and I am lovin it. Just left from getting my daughters nose pierced. Sven did the work and I highly recommend him. He explained everything to her and made sure she was ready. He was very gental and professional.

I have two short sleeves provided by Chance. He took my ideas and added his experience and artistic touch to create something fantastic. I get many compliments on his work. He even touched up a piece I was happy with and made it even better. Hes not heavy handed and works at a pace your comfortable with.

Got a tattoo from Chelsea. She was fantastic! Did a great tattoo with nice lines. She was very professional, yet friendly. The parlor was clean and stylish. Would definitely recommend going to this tattoo parlor!

Be cautious getting a tattoo here. I knew something was not quite right the same day I got it. The tattoo was very swollen. This is my 6th tattoo and never experienced this amount of swelling before. The next morning I could see that a lot of the black ink had spread under the skin- this is called a blowout. The ink is deposited too deeply and spreads under the skin. Stuck with an awful looking tattoo.

Clean place nice people. But my simple cover up turned into the artist redrawing the entire picture I asked for. And the One detail I needed done a thumb nail size red heart in my picture was Not complete. This was the highest part of my tattoo. Artist said he was only allotted my 2 hours worth of time. This red heart would have only taken 5 min MAX, unable to finish the red heart is a unfinished tattoo. Ive had 3 other tattoos costing the same $250.00 and they were finished. Why mr. Deeb didnt complete this heart way beyond my knowledge. He said hed do it for free when i came back in for another piece. Wow $250.00 and the smallest red heart cost him my future business. Not professional at all. I do not recommend this artist unless you want unfinished tattoos or to get hustled. Just go down Lancaster East if you want to get hustled. Real Talk. F.T.S COLORADO

It serves no one to complain, yet it needs to be explained why an artist cant finish his work. I came to Tre with a tattoo that he could not transcribe, he couldnt translate, and he couldnt finish. I dont know if it reflects poorly on Fade to Black as a whole. But it does upon an individual. Visions are realized hopefully through those that started it.

I took a picture of a tattoo I wanted and Audra drew one even better!! I am beyond happy with my tattoo. This place is cute and clean. My artist, Audra, was awesome!!

I came in to get a cover up everything was fine . ashlie the one who was going to do my tattoo told me that I had to put down a deposit and,if anything happened and I had to back out it was 100% refundable. So a week later something did happen I witnessed a murder happen 30 ft from my face and I had to move ASAP! so i called for my refund that would go towards my move and she told me that I could get back bc she has never done it before. I didnt even get a phone call I had to call her. Bad business! Horrible liers! No sympathy towards others. Im dealing with a traumatizing ordeal with my one year old thanks alot fade to black! You will never get my business nor will I refer you to amyone

This is a great place for piercings! They do cartilage & lobe as well as conch piercings but no other inner ear piercings. They were friendly and very helpful with us!
