HEAVY METAL TATTOO

As someone who is very heavily tattooed, I am no stanger to a tattoo shop. This place is really fantastic across the board. Everything is very clean and organized here. I went here while on vacation, and cant speak highly enough of my experience.I came in early in the day with an idea of what I wanted and was told that it wouldnt be any issue to return later in the day. I was quoted a cost up front, and made to feel very welcome by the staff. When I returned later, my artist quickly drew up my design to my specifications.The vibe in the shop is really great. All the artists who were around were friendly and chatty. My artist, Evan, was very easygoing and fun to talk to while I was getting tattooed. He also did a great job on the tattoo and gave me exactly what I wanted.I wish I lived nearby and could make this my regular shop because I had such a great experience.

Heavy Metal is like family. I’ve been four times so far, tattooed twice and pierced twice. Every experience was amazing. They’re very chill people. Evan is super awesome, so is Stevi, she’s the BEST.

Sam is the sweetest! Not to mention her line work is sooo on point. I will definitely be returning for another piece of art.

Bob Z was my artist and has done such an amazing job. My first piece by him I just send him pictures of a few things I liked and he came out with this amazing piece! I just went in today for my 2 piece and let him come with everything for it, it was a total surprise and Im so in love with these tattoos! I have 5 others and these 2 are by far my favorites!I definitely recommend this shop and Bob, crazy great vibes and bad ass work!

Cleanest tattoo shop I have ever been in. Met Evan and Jon and talked to both the entire time I was there. Although I currently live 600 miles away Evan and Heavy Metal will be the only person and place that I get ink. I got a tattoo back in June with Evan and I’m so happy I did. He was super accommodating to anything I wanted to change on the design. I love how my tattoo turned out and get compliments literally all the time on it, can’t wait to get more done by him next time I visit from SoCal!

I’m still in shock and can’t quit staring at my beautiful piece that Dan “Nui Nui” did for me. This piece was extremely important and the amount of time and detail he puts into his work is amazing! And his customers service is phenomenal! I highly recommend him to anyone looking for some work! Hands down, this is where you want to go for any and all tattoos. First of all, I have never seen a cleaner shop. I have several tattoos myself and since visiting Symmetry 6, everywhere else fails in comparison. The artistic ability and originality brought by Bobs talented skill rank him in my book as number one. I went in for a cover up and to be honest, I was a little concerned. Its hard to trust people when it comes to such a permanent thing, especially when youre having to suffer the consequence of another artists failed and horrendous piece of art, lol it was bad. Bob eased all doubt the minute I walked in. I was treated with respect and enjoyed my stay. I walked out with the most beautiful, most detailed and most original piece I could have ever hoped for. I will be a customer for life and encourage all to go here from now on.

I’ve had 3 tattoos and 2 piercings done here so far, I have come to Texas from England and I don’t think I’ll go anywhere else for my tattoos and piercings. Vivian done my tattoos and is the loveliest person and so chill, the tattoo that Vivian done for me today I had no social battery so I just stayed quiet and everyone was so cool with what I felt was being so rude, just carried on vibing and it made me feel so comfortable, everyone had an awesome vibe, they’re all the most wonderful people I’ve met. Me and my sister went here to get matching tattoos and we both got them done by Lexie. She is amazing and our tattoos were pretty small, about an inch big, and she did both of our in the span of an hour! She’s so sweet and amazing, the atmosphere is great. I definitely suggest coming here if you want your tattoo done really good. Such a good experience for my first tat 🤍

I have had a couple piercings done by Stevi. She is the best! Her personality is amazing and she is good at what she does. You will laugh a lot and leave with some cool jewelry. Definitely recommend getting your piercings done by her!

Had an awesome experience with Samantha. Shop was by appointment so it was just us, which was nice for an introvert with migraines. Shop was clean and had a nice aesthetic and Sam had a good choice in music so no complaints on the setting. The tattoo came out splendid, she collaborated with me, helped explain certain techniques that improved the final product. Quoted price was honored, and lowered because it ended up being less time consuming than anticipated, so I put more toward tip since I was not let down with my experience. Definitely feel Ive found a repeat artist and will be returning for my Where the Wild Things Are tatt.

I took a terrible photo but in got my septum pierced in March by Mills! I absolutely love it! He was awesome during the whole process and I plan to go back to get my nostrils pierced by him too!

All I can is WOW!! Stevi did such an amazing job on septum piercing. She was so great. So professional. Clean shop! My only downside is that I live close to here so now all my paychecks will be going here lol. Love this place!

The atmosphere at S6 is super chill and the guys are hysterical! The studio is very clean and the artists are super talented and passionate about their work.Bailey is by far the best artist Ive ever worked with. He listened to what I wanted and had awesome suggestions. His lines are super clean and the detail is astounding! Best tattoo studio Ive been to!! Ryan was awesome - drew up a custom tattoo for me and my two best friends. The design was beautiful and the execution was superb. The shop and staff were great, very easy going, professional, and a good atmosphere. Ill definitely be back!

This is my new home tattoo shop. Very clean, professional, and amazing work. Scott fixed up a half done thigh piece for me and finished it. It looks better than I could have ever imagined. I havent got any work done from any of the other guys at the shop, but have seen some work that they have done, and they are amazing too! Best shop Ive ever been to! I have no complaints AT ALL. I keep some of their cards in my wallet to give to people who ask me if I have any suggestions on where to go. You will not be disappointed.

I enjoyed this tattoo shop because of the cleanliness, professionalism, professional advice about my decisions, and of course- the high quality talent. Unlike other shops I have visited, I did not question the knowledge, talent or safety of the business when I first walked in. I had done previous research and had found an easy-to-use website on their artists and their portfolios. Their house minimum is $60- which, is average from my experiences, but their talent is priceless. I definitely recommend them for any art that you desire. They have top of the line talent for all needs.

Dan was outstanding, funny and caring. This was my 9th tattoo and by far the best experience Ive ever had. He does amazing work and listens to what you want and how you want your tattoo. So far, I have been to this shop 6x for tattoos,so I think I got it nailed. After being tattooed by 6 different artists at 4 different shops , I have realized just how great this tattoo shop is . Symmetry6 is a great shop! Its clean,the artists are skilled and courteous and overall I would say the best shop for tattoos I have ever walked into. It smells clean,looks clean, its quiet,. Since the shop is set up for appointments only there are never crowds of teenagers or hangers onI could go on, but I wont. Go see Chris Bailey for the best ,finest traditional and neo- traditional tattoo work you could get. Hes talented and professional. And his customer service skills are on point too

Tony Maxwell has done all my and my wife’s ink.We keep going back to see him. His work is well worth it. Great guy to work with. Highly suggest him for first timers. Great guy! The rest of the symmetry 6 staff are great people to deal with. The shop is pretty laid back setting to be in.

Wow! I still cant get over how much I love my tattoo by Dan with Nui Nui Customs. Ive had more than a few tattoos and this was by FAR the most detailed and thoughtful one. This place is awesome. The artists are top notch not only in their ability but in their professionalism and candor. I have had two pieces done here, my wife has had some work here as well as my daughter and brother and every one of them have been excellent. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for some quality ink. That being said, dont show up at midnight expecting to find a bunch of flashes on the wall. This is not that kind of place. They work mostly by appointment as they are all excellent artists with a busy schedule. But if you have an idea and a picture of what you are wanting, they can help you develop your idea and talk it out with you and give you something truly great. Stop in and talk to the guys there. Be patient and set up an appointment if you have to, not only will you not be disappointed but you will most likely be back again.

Ive been going to this shop for years now! Ask for Bailey!! Everyone is amazing and professional. The atmosphere is great. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone from first timers to seasoned tattooed individuals.

Ive been to many places where I think it is a good place. Its not until after I get my ink I look at it and have such a sad feeling. Not this place. Our dear friend who has had a sleeve done by Bobby (Bob Z) recommended this place to us. I can truthfully share that Bobby did an outstanding job. My consultation Bobby listened to what I wanted, Nightmare Before Christmas, and made some suggestions. He then set me up with an appointment for two months later. When I came in for my first inking he was very thoughtful and did a fantastic job. I could not have been more pleased. Out of 0-10 pain scale it was a 1 and thats not even a hurt. For my next appointment a month later was for color. Wow now that one hurt, Id say a 7. I cried a lot. But not because he did anything wrong. Some places on my body hurt more than others. I was able to bring a pillow and blanket to make myself comfortable both times. Bobby was able to allow me to rest and make sure I was doing good. Very professional and very attentive. Bobby made me feel like I could trust him. We do. As a matter of fact this coming up sitting hes doing a Tardis and I know he will do amazing. I would trust him inking me anytime. My daughter will be 18 soon and Bobby will be trusted to do her first ink. Let me also say that Bobby does excellent galaxy color. This place is clean and big. Bobby also has others that he employs and they too are super talented and very professional. Over all I had a fantastic sitting, laughed, cried, held my breath, & had some wicked ink done. THANK YOU FOR MY INK!!!

Reworked and covered up a mess up tattoo better than I incisions. Very clean atmosphere. Artist was very chill, yet on time, personable to make sure I felt comfortable and Got exactly what I wanted for a price still in my budget. They had friends play on the tv. I was amazing 😀I thought that was no longer steaming🤔 but some how they got it playing! I will be back to see Tony

Laid back and just a cool guy. When my daughter got her first tattoo, didn’t think twice on who was going to do it.

Bailey is THE BEST! I came in wanting my grandmothers signature as a memorial tattoo, but had only a couple of random pieces for him to work with to get it right. He took the two items I had her signature on, combined the best parts and made the PERFECT copy of her signature! Will definitely be my go to for anything else I dream up!

I decided to go with Tony from Symmetry 6 Fine Art studio. He did an amazing job!! He had great bed side manners, friendly, and all around enjoyable. He was reasonably priced as well. Hes very gentle. It did not hurt as bad as expected.

I havent even got a tattoo from Bob. I met him on business. But from what Ive seen, one of the best artists in DFW period. Super cool dude. Has a passion for music which every artist must have. If your an art person like myself, youll feel the cool creative vibes from this shop. For sure making a huge name for himself. I couldnt ever argue any price he threw at me. Because we are priceless. He takes every job personal i have no doubt.

Im always excited to leave with my new work, yet the excellent and uniquely varied artist line up at S6 is very diverse, and open to all genres of tattooing, except those damn infinity signs. The shop was very clean & very chill. I would definitely recommend Dan. Dan is an amazing, talented and creative artist, he made my brother’s Memorial tattoo absolutely stunning with all the thought & dedication he put into it.

To start, the studio was extremely clean and sanitary. Bob Z (owner/artist) opened up a fresh needle in front of me and made sure the entire work station was sanitized. We started by exchanging ideas on what I wanted drawn up and eventually tattooed. Once Bob had his final rendering in his head, he began to freehand the entire tattoo on my arm. We listened to music and I watched movies during the session. Thoughout the entire process, Bob was friendly, professional, and demonstrated clean practices like changing gloves when needed. The price was extremely fair considering the pieces depth, time, and skill required to complete it. My experience at symmetry 6 was amazing. I had an unfinished screwed up polynesian tattoo, that he had fixed and turned into a breathtakingly beautiful masterpiece! If you want a great polynesian tattoo! After getting pieces done in Pearl City, HI the possibility of having work with the same quality and authenticity seemed unrealistic. Through a series of weird events, we lucked into finding Dan and he will be who our family goes to from here on out. The shop is clean, the people are great, and Dan is amazing- both as an artist and a person. He is a master of Polynesian style and his ability to incorporate the different tribal styles to tell your story is awe-inspiring. Mahalo Nui-Nui!

Bob is an excellent tattoo artist, Symmetry 6 is a great place, didnt get my 1st tattoo until 4 years ago and now working on a full sleeve on my left arm, Bob has done all my tattoos!! Going back March 5th to get another tattoo on my left forearm!!

Bob Z is an amazing artist. Both of my pieces I gave him my ideas and had him draw it with his twist. Well let me tell you he went above and beyond for me as well as every one of his pieces. Received a gift certificate for valentines day for a tattoo. Lost my mother in March and decided to memorialize her with my dreamcatcher tattoo. Met with Bailey and he designed the coolest dream catcher and incorporated a memoriam to my mom. Then received another gift certificate for my birthday in June. Had the coolest sugar skull ever done by Bailey this week.
