Randomly decided I wanted a cute but simple tat of our last name, Googled & walked in to this location today. Julia was so patient & personable, I would most definitely book with her again!! I only had one tattoo that I got YEARS ago before today’s visit but Julia was so great, I’m already getting ideas for my next tat(s)!! Thanks so much, highly recommend!!

I told my tattoo artist Im not great with names so, as usual I forgot her name.I went in about two months ago with a general idea and was happy that instead of just throwing me with anyone, they took the time to match an artist to my piece.She was great and took an idea and made it unique. She was great to talk with and get to know, and she was skilled and fast! I have other tats that are not even half as detailed and they took twice as long and I still needed touch ups.Recommend the place for sure.

Just wanted to give a HUGE shout out to the crew last night. Came in last night around 12:30am to get piercings and a tattoo after a night out. Everyone was super nice & welcoming. Even BIGGER shoutout to Heather that does piercings! She did amazing! She slows down, explains everything, and gets it done quick. And gives a little Sundrop when you pass out. 😂 Thank yall for making our evening!

I went here to get a tattoo fixed. I got the tattoo when my mother passed away. They explained that my tattoo was upside down and backwards. The price was fair. The guy doing my tattoo was very helpful and explained everything well. This place looks scary from the outside but its very clean inside. Great experience.

Adrian was my artist tonight, a pleasure to work with. He was time efficient with perfect precision and personable. The shop was comfortable, clean, and the employees all provided quality service.

I want to change this. Got more piercings. He didnt use clamps or any numbing cream. He said clamps were for amateurs. My friends were lopsided and one of mine was so deep, thrift the areola that it began getting infections. 2 years later and 4 infections later that were so bad I almost had to be hospitalized. They became staph infections and had multiple rounds of antibiotics. The doctor finally told me the piercing was too deep and I needed to remove it asap. My friend went to the beach and had gets done. It cost$80 more but she got the numbing cream and clamps and no issues. Go somewhere for what they offer in cases like this, not for the deal.

Me and my friends came here to get our nipples pierced and the guy who did them was amazinnnng!! super professional, clean, talked through every single thing, and quick!! i’ll definitely be coming back for future piercings

I had a full color tattoo done by an artist named Wiz. I had designed it myself as a tribute to mine and my wifes relationship, so it was vitally important that it turn out good. Well, it came out much better than good - its absolutely beautiful!!My only complaints - the long wait time, which was partly my fault since I didnt have an appointment, and their total lack of handicapped accessibility. There was no ramp to get into the shop and no grab bars in the bathroom. I had to have one of the guys find some bricks in the parking lot to help me get up and down the one step going in.I will definitely return here to get my next tattoo (I already have one in mind!) and totally recommend it to others!

Went there to see Anna because I came across the shop on Facebook. She was very helpful, friendly, answered all of my questions, and was enthusiastic about getting started as soon as possible. I cant wait to get my first tattoo from her soon 😁

Ive been gettin tattooed for three years. Im up to six as of yesterday. Ive only been a customer at Ink Link Tattoos for a couple months. Theyve already given me three insane tattoos and a slick piercin. Two of the three I got there, includin my most recent one, were done by someone with only eight months of experience. Got my 23 year old daughter a piercing for her birthday. The place was very clean and organized. Staff very friendly. Always making sure you have care instructions . Will definitely go back!

Came in as a walk Thursday night on January 18th and was pleasantly surprised. Received a nose piercing as well as a tattoo. Only took one hour, was very consistent and sanitary, & also played The Office through the session. Will highly recommend this place to anyone I know!

I had a great experience with this business, I came in 30 minutes before the piercer was supposed to leave and he still helped me out and gave me the 5 piercings I asked for. The business was very clean and welcoming. I really appreciated how accommodating and personable the piercer was! Definitely going back! Also for those who want piercings, there is no better shop when it comes to pricing/cost. This place is so affordable and has great results for piercings. Cannot rave more about this place!

I love Ink Link in Gastonia! I’ve come here for most of my piercings and have not ever been disappointed! Everyone is very professional and the shop is very clean. If you come here for piercings I recommend John. He did an amazing job re-piercing my nose!! Was very professional and knew exactly what to do! I took my daughter to get her nose pierced this morning for her 16th birthday. Heather did a great job of explaining what was happening, how to care for it, and what to do long-term to keep it clean and safe. The store was extremely clean. She checked the birth certificate and my ID to be sure it was okay for her to be pierced. I was very impressed, and would definitely go back to Heather for any other needs!

DO NOT GET PIERCED HERE! The piercers do not have license they just do piercings on the side. I got my smiley and nose done by him (first of all i got The other side of my nose done by another piercer and the pain was so much worse with frank) i got My smiley with 2 of my friends and one of them had to take it out a couple weeks after because it was pierced so low that it was about to fall out and i mine was pierced so low that i bit down on it ripping the ball through the hole and chipping my tooth. DO NOT GET PIERCED BY FRANK!

Place was absolutely fabulous!! we had last minute tattoos and they were able to fit us in. Sam was fantastic with me and my friend. Loved her energy and she was very willing to carry on a conversation with us! It was our first tattoos so talking was a lot of help!

I been going to ink link sence the late 90s. This new group of people have ruined it. There not very bright, the place is nasty. The 2 guys up front today especially the chubby one was a very rude and not smart at all! Talked to me like I was an idiot. Jeff would be very disappointed in his shop. I recommend no one come here anymore. Find a better and cleaner and more friendly place!!!!

Chris did a great job of piercing my ears and answering my questions! This was my first time getting my ears pierced by a real professional(the other times were piercing guns). Even as a walk in, I was in and out all in about 15 minutes or less. The place was clean and Chris went over after care with me at the end. I had a great experience and I highly recommend this place.

Went in to get a nose piercing today with my fiance. The staff was friendly and informative, and the room was sanitized. My piercer made this a seamless experience, and we even shared few laughs. I will be going back in the future 😊

I called and spoke with Natalie. She took my idea and ran with it. She designed the perfect tattoo. She did a fantastic job, so much detail! Couldn’t have asked for a better artist. Love it! Highly recommend her to everyone!!

Me and my daughter had a great time getting piercings! Frank did an awesome job! It was quick and almost painless! I got my navel done and my daughter had her nose done. He was very clean and very professional and told us step by step what he was doing! We will be back!

Sky pierced my 14 year old last night. She did a great job with her. Sweet young lady and she made my daughter feel so comfortable getting her very first piercings. Well definitely be back in the future.

While I did love my artist and she was super sweet, she was extremely heavy handed and the line work wasnt the best. I have heavy bruising Ive never had before, and some pain even after a few weeks, and thats not normal for me. As well as stabbing and scaring Ive never had before. The coloring is pretty, but the over all just fell short for me cause of the line work being shaky and not even close to being symmetrical for the design, or the black out parts not filled in all the way.My friend also got one by a different artist, and while it initially looked good, the date is crooked and completely un-aligned.Update 4 month: heavy scarring, color is way faded more than my 5 year old tattoos, linework is very shaky and will need to be corrected completely.

I got snakebites done here on Friday by Sky. Really nice and comforting, but... Im super disappointed. The labret jewelry was way too short and I had to have them replaced about 4 days in. Of course an infection started because I couldnt properly clean behind studs embedded into my lip. The tongue barbell was pierced too far back and I had to remove it on day 4. Lastly, the snakebites are VERY noticeably uneven on the inside. Not due to swelling, but I mean they were at noticeably different angles. Ill be coming back to have them re-done, but Im not sure if Id come for any other piercings. Im heartbroken, I wish they were right the first time.

This place is awesome! I was so nervous to get my piercings but when I got there the girl who did them was super friendly and she was very understanding and took things very smoothly when she pierced me. The deals are amazing and great prices! Then when I called a few days later with questions about my piercings they more then happily helped me with all my questions! Cant wait to go back and get some more piercings and then start on some tattoos!

I had went to tattoo factory and they told me I wasn’t able to get my industrial piercing done, they didn’t take the time to check my ears with anything. Just looked and said no. I went to ink link and Sam did an amazing job on my industrial piercing. When I asked if I could get it done she sat me in her chair and took a bar to see if it would be possible to get it done. She troll me that I would be just fine to get it done. She walked mw through everything because I am a big baby when I comes to piercings. She was so nice and was very accommodating and made me comfortable.

Debated on leaving this review. Back in June I went in and met with Ashley and got a second piercing on my ears. When I left, because of the earrings I was wearing everything looked fine. Since then I have had a third piercing done at another piercing shop and with studs in, it’s more obvious the second holes are too close to the first and are too far down. Now I’m having to let the second holes close and get them redone.

I went in this evening to get a memorial tattoo for my daughter and had an idea and a picture of what I wanted to do and Kalvin took that and made it amazing. It looks a million times better than what I was expecting it to look like. I am so happy and so far this is the best tattoo that I have ever had and for someone scared of needles I feel like that was taken into consideration as well. I recommend this place to everyone!!! Best too shop ever!!!

I had a piercing done about a month ago at Caos tattoos in Gastonia and they did NOT clean their jewelry properly ! I didn’t even get to witness them take jewelry out of package or anything ! They didn’t give aftercare spray or anything , my belly button and nose ring ended up getting infected and I cleaned it EVERYDAY , so this sweet young lady miss Samantha the piercer helped show me how to clean my belly button properly and she was VERY sanitary the place looked nice and clean they take VERY well care of their people ! After all I will say they have great customer service and definitely treat you like family !

Super friendly and clean place. Didn’t catch the piercers name but he was super great! Walked me through everything he was doing, made my septum as painless as it possibly could be. Came out super straight literally perfect!

Got my first tattoos here 20 years ago and Im still coming back. Recently got an inverted labret piercing (1 of 8 from here) and Frank did a great job. Also big fans of all the artists I have gotten ink from here over the years (16 in total) and have made a lot of good friends and received a lot of good art from here. Always enjoy getting to sit for a session or another temporary tattoo (a.k.a a new piercing). Highly recommend ink link and also they are pretty good about working with walk-ins.

My artist was super cool and very helpful. I had a design in mind and she was honest about what she thought would work best. She got my approval for every little change she made to ensure my total satisfaction with the work. Everything was clean and organized. Came for Tragus ear piercing , this is the one piercing with the lowest chance of rejection. However, My piercing rejected. I cleaned it everyday so the rejection, it confused me..so I did a little research… APPARANTLY you should NEVER place curved jewelry on ear piercings & especially the tragus. So because of being given a curved piercing as my starter I have to remove my piercing all together to avoid the keloid that already started from forming I thought it was just swollen and irritated because it’s healing whole time it’s INCORRECT jewelry. I’ve had it a little over a month..PSA: DONT PUT CURVED JEWLRY ON TRAGUS!!!

Got an amazing tattoo from Liz yesterday! It was one of her own designs and she did an amazing job. She is very clean and has a light hand. She made me feel at ease the whole time and is just delightful. Will definitely return to see her! My husband also was tattooed by Kalvin in the same room. So we won’t into Ink Link to get matching tattoos with my best friend. We went into as a walk in and Jade ended up taking us. Jade dug in way too deep with both of our tattoos. The whole experience was very rushed with both of our tattoos. Horrible bedside manner.When we called up there because it was a horrible tattoo, Jeff was extremely helpful and he genuinely wanted to help us make the best out of the situation.We went up there and when we walked in, it was a whole new experience. It felt welcoming and everyone was so sweet. We found out Jade no longer works there.Jimmy was the tattoo artist that fixed it. He was super polite, understanding and above all, what a true tattoo artist should be. He made it look like a whole new tattoo.Thank you Jeff & Jimmy. We love it.

When I called to get information about getting my daughters ears pierced, I wouldnt say the individual was excessively rude, but he definitely did not seem to want to answer any of my questions or lend any extra information that might have been helpful or soothing for a mother getting her young daughters ears pierced for the first time. Ultimately the poor customer service helped in the decision to take her, and my business, somewhere else. Its been my experience that if the customer service representative is not attentive and polite on the phone, the business and the other employees typically seem to have the same attitude. For me personally, that wasnt a risk I was willing to take.

My go to tattoo establishment. I get work done by Jesse who has the most gentle hands. Friendly staff and hours are great. Not like other shops who can be intimidating, these guys have great prices and work with your ideas.

I called before going AJ answered the phone very nice, came on in Let AJ know we were there,after the wait,I was next the person that spoke to me never introduced himself,”what do u want done?” That ain’t going to work. Where u want it? That ain’t gonna work . My husband said what’s not going to work? I was getting a name and a bow covered up wasn’t big,I have other tattoos this man butchered my leg,jessi is the name on his door my leg hurt as if I was getting a two sided tattoo,another artist helped me before I left I had ink all over my leg where he wasn’t tattooing,my leg has been bleeding sense I left and he didn’t finish he’s very heavy handed I have 15 tattoos in different areas and I have never been talked to or treated this way from any artist. My husband was getting a tattoo at the same time from a different artist and he was absolutely great AJ very professional,kind he even wrapped my leg for me before me leaving. My husbands tattoo looks amazing as well. Great job AJ,Jessi the work is great but you don’t have to be heavy handed at all not to the point my leg has been bleeding sense I left and my leg stings,I think u have turned me against getting any more and I paid for the whole tattoo to be done but still needed the upper part done but because I was going to come back for the rest I couldn’t sit through any more if I tried to sit up shortly lay down never nice at all,I would go back to ink link but not to him I have to wait a month before getting the rest finished but he’s not touching me

I have had two piercings done here on two separate occasions. On my first visit I got my daith pierced. I waited maybe 30 to 45 minutes for the piercer to get back to the shop. She was polite. My daith has healed nicely. My second visit I had my rook pierced. The piercer was nice, she did say she was a newer piercer. She told me she left her healthcare job because she did not want to get vaccinated/wear a mask. It has been about a year since I had my rook pierced, it is still struggling to heal. I suspect part of the problem for healing is the jewelry they used. It was externally threaded. The $20 piercings are tempting, but when I have spent more money on piercings they used better jewelry, the piercers were more experienced, and the healing process was easier. Weigh your options and make the right choice for you and your body. I would not go here again.

Wanted to get my septum pierced, paid then she couldnt supposedly get it to go through, got my money back and went down the street, they had no problem getting it done and told me she was pretty much all the way through and done. What a joke!! Lol definitely will not be back there!! Piercings lady needs some training or something. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

Finally got one of my next tattoos and Im so happy with it, as usual with Ink Link. Ive been coming here and only here for almost 14 years and Ill never go anywhere else as long as their doors are open! They have the best prices and artists and always give me exactly what we discuss. The sunflower is the newest one, but any others you see are their work also. Its nearly finished but I could leave it like this and still be happy with it. Thanks Liz, youre the best and totally awesome and I cant wait to see you soon!

I have great expiercences whenever I come here usually . I got a tattoo about 2 months back by Anna and I loved it ! It was a lion tattoo on my lower thigh , however when I messaged her to make another appointment for a diffrent tattoo I heard nothing back . I even callled the shop several of times and didn’t here anything . Very unprofessional. Also for jewelry change you have to get the right person because some of them could care less if your there or not by the vibe they give off . Usually sky I believe her name is , the best one .

My mother and I got our second tattoos together done by AJ at ink link last week. He also did my moms first tattoo a year ago as well. Everyone was so friendly, it was very clean and had a lot of cool art on the walls. I recommend going here if you are in the charlotte area and I definitely recommend AJ! He is a sweetheart and made us feel so comfortable

So me and my best friend had a spur of the moment thought and wanted matching tattoos and mind you it was 11:40pmand we live about a hour away and we drove up there and they were so kind and very understanding they had two other clients they had to do so we gladly waited our turn while we waited their piercer talked to us and we had such a great vibe from her when it came time for our tattoo they took their time to make sure we loved it! Moral of the story we had a GREAT EXPERIENCE AND WILL BE GOING BACK FOR MORE TATTOOS AND PIERCINGS!!!

Frank was an absolute dream while doing my industrial piercing. Talked me through the whole process and made sure that I was comfortable the whole time. Would 100% recommend anyone to see him for a piercing.

I got a nose piercing here about two weeks ago and I loved the atmosphere, I didn’t feel like I was gonna get an infection. The man who did my piercing was very chill. I was recommended to get my nose pierced here by my sister who has gotten a tattoo a few months before which looks amazing.

So my friend and I came in for a walk in matching tattoos. We got Jade as our artist, she charged us $100 each. We were beyond disappointed with the tattoo we left the shop with. So I called up to the store the following week, told them what our problem was, they told us to contact Jeff (the owner) He took responsibility for Jade’s mistake and told us to come in when they heal and they will fix them. When we came in for our follow up, literally every artist saw our tattoos and were baffled as to how she could let someone walk around with that poorly of a tattoo. The artist that fixed our tattoos was Jimmy and we can not even put into words how grateful we are for the time and effort he put into our ink. I highly recommend Ink Link, very professional and very responsible! (Before & after pictures included)

Waited 45 minutes for a jewelry change, was told they were cleaning the jewelry and never was spoken to again. Everyone working was acting like they did not know what day it was. One of the artist made a highly vulgar comment to customers in waiting area. Piercer Eli complaining about not getting tips but literally took and hour to pierce four ears. People waiting were dissatisfied. Eli took a smoke break while multiple clients waited for service then proceeded to wonder around the shop ignoring clients waiting. I have sworn by this place in the past, but I will not be back. Do not recommend. Rude, horrible staff. I guess they have forgotten without these customers they have no job.. very sad. Used to be the most respected place in Gastonia but obviously things have changed.

While out shopping, I was introduced to one the the artists work through a client. After getting the info to this tattoo shop, I chose this shop to get my first tattoo. Unfortunately, when I called in to get their starting price, the receptionist was very short, telling me they dont do pricing over the phone and their store hours. I do understand that policy, however I felt that it couldve been communicated better. The receptionist sets the tone for the entire business and I no longer want to shop here.

My daughter and I went for pricings and the piercer Ashley was great. I have been going here for a long time but hadnt been since about 10 yrs ago. Great service and smiles when we came in. Thanks again you guys.

Robert was so nice. I am having surgery on Friday and need the plastic jewelry because I cant have my metal rings in. Robert was so careful and easy that I didnt feel a thing!! Prices are great. Super friendly. Clean place. I am excited for when I am done and can go back for more metal rings to be put back in!!!

I’ve had several piercings done here, and it’s where all of my friends have had theirs done. Though we’ve had different piercers each time they’ve always done a great job and it’s always been very pleasant. My go to for piercings. Also I had a friend get a half sleeve from ink- link and they did it for way cheaper than the other parlors around it it still looks fantastic two years later.

I called ahead of time at 7:11pm asking prices and all that the women on the phone said the piercer stops piercing at 10:30pm so I was like okay cool. I head to the shop get there around 7:50pm I signed in and sat down the place is very dirty. The piercer came out at about 8:15 to get the next person in line and was like she was about to take a hour lunch so the next person was supposed to be pierced after the hour and then she was like she stops piercing at 9:30pm she had a very rude and ugly attitude and was very unprofessional wouldn’t recommend unless you want to risk getting an infection. I left because I wasn’t about to wait an hour for her to go on a lunch break when I was just getting a nose piercing.

Got my daith pierced. Good fast and attentive service. Pricing is competitive. Piercing does include jewelry. Very safe l, professional and sanitary. Must wear a mask to enter inside (CV19). Cash is preferred but they do have an ATM inside.

The last 7 tattoos I received from ink link are some of the best ink I have. Collin and Kalvin has done a lot of my work and their awesome. All my art from them has been painless and the lines are perfect with consistency, I wouldnt go any where else. Yes I agree the shop could be a little cleaner but the actual tattoo rooms are a lot cleaner. My experiences have been great there and Im planning to go back plenty more times.

Ive been going here for two years and i got all 18 of my piercings done here! staff is so sweet and always helpful. they answer all questions and calm any nerves beforehand. would definitely recommend going here

I greatly enjoyed my first tattoo experience that that all because i had D as a tattoo artist. I went in nervous as hell but him and his apprentice(I believe her name was Emily. I could be wrong >_< SO SORRY IF I AM) kept me chill and relaxed while getting my first bit of ink. D is a pretty cool guy and pretty gentle with his hands. The environment was super chill and pretty clean. I look forward to my next tattoo and will definitely be returning. 10/10 would totally recommend

I called before I went to ask how much daith earrings were. They gave me the price of $10. Steeper than what Ive paid before but decided Ive been to ink link before for several tattoos and went by anyway. Walked in and asked the guy if I could see the display of daith earrings. I didnt want a horseshoe but just a regular barbell. He stated theyre in the room with the piercer and suggested I get something already sterilized. Waited 20 mins and the piercer comes out and asks what I need done. I tell her and she goes to pull out the horseshoe earrings and I tell her I dont want those and would like a regular barbell. She pulls 1 out and says this is the only one we have and its missing a ball. Waste of time, waste of gas. Def wont be back.

I’m leaving this 5 star review SPECIFICALLY for Stephen. He was the most AMAZING tattoo artist I think I have EVER had. His line work is OUTSTANDING. I was there from 11:30AM - 9PM. He never rushed, he took his time, he worked his A** off & only took ONE break because I asked him to. He was DETERMINED, & a very humble person. He didn’t even ASK me for his payment until AFTER I was done. Where some tattoo artists ask before. (Of course I tipped Stephen very well.) He is the ONLY one who I will be seeing. If he ever moves, I’m set on following him wherever he goes. I could have cried looking at my finished results last night. THANK YOU STEPHEN!!

Absolutely awesome experience! Me and my husband both had work done by Gerardo Atilano and he done stunning work. Very light handed, you wouldnt even know he was working. We knew he did good work based off of previous work, but he still was able to blow our minds. Not to mention everyone I met was extremely chill and laid back and down right fun to be around. My wife and I came in so she could get a custom flash piece by Liz. It came out looking amazing! While there, I got a piece from Kalvins flash sheet. He did a very good job, as always. Theyre both very clean and I always love the designs Kalvin comes up with! Super cool people, cant reccomend them enough!

I have had several friends receive piercings and tattoos from ink link over the years and their work all looks great. I was getting a pretty small tattoo done so I just popped in the other day. Jesse (spelling?) was my artist and he was quiet, but whatever. I had had him change something that I didnt like prior to starting the tattoo, and he never asked for a second confirmation as to whether the changes were okay or not. I watched him set up and everything was very neat and clean (yay!). But midway through my tattoo, he decides to criticize the meaning of my tattoo, commenting on how I changed it and the meaning of it. I just shrugged it off because what am I going to say to the guy who has a needle to my arm at this point? I didnt have much else to say afterward. I do love my tattoo, except for the fact THAT ITS CROOKED. Its not majorly noticeable, but still. Come. On. Two stars because everything was clean.

Me and a friend went in only to get opinions and prices on tattoos. Well the lady up front who does the piercing told us to hold tight and someone would be with us shortly. We waited for about an hour, around that time another couple walks in and asks about tattoos. They get helped promptly. Well we immediately ask why we havent gotten any help they told us basically to bad. Screw that, not knocking the artists work but the service sucks butt. Wouldnt recommend walking in, if you go there make sure to make an appointment. Ill never go back to that dump though.

Where do I start? If you are into tattoos, INK LINK TATTOOS is where you want to be. First of all, every artist was very professional. Every tattoo office and chair were very clean. The two artists that I met were Jesse Pryor and Josh. Both of whom were excellent artists. But I really got the feeling that ANY of the professionals there would do a great job. It was a quiet, relaxing atmosphere with a pool table and other games in the waiting area... Nice. There were several customers waiting at any given time and ALL of them were greeted and helped when they walked in the door and everybody got a tattoo chair in a very timely manner. Nobody waited long at all. A friend of mine got a dermal piercing between her breasts and I cannot remember this particular artists name but she was very good also. I cannot stressed enough how professional EVERY artist was. This was a well run tattoo and piercing parlor. We drove an hour from South Carolina to get there because we heard they were good, and guess what?... THEY WERE GOOD! BEYOND EXPECTATIONS!. I have no problem recommending Ink Link Tattoos to anyone whether or not you are a seasoned veteran or a newbie, doesnt matter. These guys can help you the right way and you wont regret it. In closing, I can tell you that Ink Link Tattoos didnt have a weak spot. I was impressed in every aspect of their work. Now, GO GET YOUR TATTOO! 😃

The staff was rude, and not even helpful.We wanted pretty simple couples tattoos (lock and key)The first artist said they wouldnt do color, the second one told us that we should pick something from the flash they had on hand. The third said that the art we chose simply wouldnt fit in the available space.We drove 4 minutes down the road to Chaos Tattoos, and got exactly what we were wanting.Ink link is a joke now. I used to go there years ago, but now it seems like less of a tattoo studio, and more a place for people who think Tattoos are cool, to hang out!

Went there today for my friend to get a piercing, went inside both employees were rude. The woman that attended to me and my friends was especially rude. My sister asked about the piercings that were on display with no prices and the artist responded after staring at her and stating, “you’re special aren’t you.” Very rude and condescending response to a simple and polite question. The woman was wearing a T-shirt with dirty sweatpants. Sorry don’t want my piercer or tattoo artist to do anything to me with that appearance. Took my business here despite hearing bad reviews all the time only because khaos was closed. Will not be returning.

I went to Ink Link for a nose piercing and met Ashley (Eli)...mad cool vibes came from Eli and help awesome. During my piercing mad blood squirked everywhere it seemed and Eli never made me feel bad about. Eli made sure I was taken care of and no blood got on me and what did Eli cleaned up. After the second hole, blood decided to make an appearance and Eli held me down. No matter how many ppl were there to get pierced Eli wouldnt let me get up until I was okay to walk. Mention I have had a piercing nor a tattoo from here I will have to say that are really helpful. I was looking for a titanium bell retainer for my septum piercing. They didnt have what I was looking for however the staff was able to tell me exactly where I needed to go to find one and order it! Lydia did our tattoos it was a birthday gift for my mother we got matching tattoos Lydia was awesome she plaued music while we got our tattoos done she was fast i think our total session maybe lasted 20 minutes explained how to care for our tattoos. Waited 4 hours with a group of 5 in Gastonia they said they would call us when it was our turn. We got there they said they did not take reservations if it was important to us we would have been there waiting. Most pretentious group of people Ive ever met my life.

They were nice when I got there and nice during the tattoo, but after calling them back for a faded lip tattoo to see if they would retouch it for free, they were rude on the phone. Called two seperate tattoo shops and they said that they probably just didnt go deep enough and two days is way to fast for it to be completely gone on only half of it while the other half is like a dotted line. I wouldnt recommend getting inner lip tattoos there, but Im sure they are fine and nice with normal ones. Will not be going back though.

Terrible. We came it at 7:15 was told 30 mins to an hour. Around 10:30 when I asked again, nobody seemed like they knew we were waiting. So we left. Some tattoo guy was roaming around the whole time talking abt being tired but then went off to do a simple tattoo on someone that came in after us. Theres obviously not much organizational skills here.

Im going to be blunt. All the negative reviews I saw on here were not once reflected on my visit. I went in around 4:30 August 23, 2015 gave my name and there was 2 people ahead of me. I waited an hour talked to Collin not once was he unprofessional nor did he make me feel uncomfortable I was out of there at 6:10. I got a tattoo that was all lines and dots his work is 110% no shaky lines, no gaps, he didnt dig but got the ink where it was suppose to be. That was the most painless and most professional tattoo Ive ever received. I WILL be back in there for my next 9 you can count on that.

Heavy set white guy turned me and my gf for picking a tattoo to go on my arm and her stomach, he said it wouldnt work and said “have u ever had a tattoo before” and yes I’ve had 3 she has had four and turned us away, went to another parlor and they did both of us with no problem both turned out great. Went in with intentions of spending around $3,000 but to be safe I got a small $200+ tattoo on my hand to start off. Told the artist what I wanted and said I wanted him to put his own unique twist and 6 months later I just discovered all the artist did was Google a picture similar to what I described. These are not artist nor do they offer free hand tattoos. Just Google and trace it on your skin... permanently.... will never come back here. Will warn everyone I come across of this place

Well first of all I sent an email to the shop and I was told to give them a few minutes and it took them over an hour, then I had to resend it. I was told one price and then when I went to pay they told me something different. Wait time was ridiculous! The tattoo artist RED seemed very rude and extremely impatient, he kept saying how he didnt want to be there and all of that, which made me feel uneasy.Then as far as the tattoo, I got an above the influence sign on my wrist, the circle is uneven, one side of the arrow is long and thin and the other is shorter and thicker (so it looks lopsided) and the stem of the arrow is not even.To make matters worse I got this tattoo last week and it is sooo sore and red, and looks shriveled up looking, I have 7 other tattoos and none have been like this. NONE. Even the ones I got at a friends house from a professional working out of his home. I honestly cant even pick my son up and use this wrist because of the pain! This is beyond pathetic!I will NEVER go back or recommend anyone here!

When I called, Monday afternoon, one of the workers or piercers had said that you can be 13 and get a nose piercing. When I walked in they said that you have to be 14. All the workers should share information and not tell customers that u can be 13 when your really have to be 14!

CRAPPIEST tattoo shop you can go to. The second you walk in the door, you can tell the place is not clean. The woman at the front desk is always on her phone and is the rudest person I have ever met. The bathroom is super gross and looks like it hasnt been cleaned in years. When you are about to get your tattoo, the artists want to smoke and eat lunch and chit chat for a long time before they are ready. They are disrespectful, have prejudice signs in their rooms they ink you in. The majority of the workers are very rude and lazy. Collin Fields did my tattoo, and it was supposed to be space with planets. It turned out as a large black stamp on my back. No detail at all, my skin is literally just colored black. The colors look like I was colored with a crayon, and it was nothing like what I told him I wanted. You also might want someone who is sober to tattoo you. I would recommend Tattoo Bills if you want quality. Seriously, save your money. This is going to be in your skin forever. Thanks to my poor choice of tattoo place, I have to get a large cover-up.

My favorite place to get tatted without needing an appointment. Some times youre just in that mood to go get some ink right quick and this is the place to go. Affordable too.

Stood and waited for about 30 minutes to be even talked to; it seems this place has a reputation for ignoring people. After the long wait we were told that we would have to wait for the person after us to get pierced, and of course that wasnt a problem. The girl who was there getting her nose pierced walked out and they were done, and then the piercer, or Vapey McDouchebag Shitpiercer I think his name was, walked out ignored us and left for outside for another 15 minutes. By this time we had been waiting about an hour or so. Finally, Vapey decided to come in, ask what we were there for (two individual septum piercings) and then took 20 bucks each. 20 dollars I will never get back. He took us back to the piercing room, told us the get down (both of us are experienced with how piercings work) and then proceeded to butcher my nose with the needle, shoving it in at a ridiculously diagonal angle. Then my girlfriend sat down for hers only to have him to the same thing but at the opposite angle. Maybe he was practicing his geometry on our noses, but he definitely wasnt either sober or a good piercer. AVOID THE SKINNY WHITE GUY WITH SPARSE RED-ISH FACIAL HAIR AND PROBABLY WEARING A HAT.

Ink Link Tattoos refused to pierce myself and my children despite calling ahead to get services. I walked in there at 10:30p (when they are advertised to close to at 1AM) and they refused to provide us services. The piercer claimed to be busy when she only had 1 client in her chair and the shop was empty. I drove from 40 minutes away Im SC to only get refused for services.

It was my birthday and id thought long and hard about getting a labret for a long time so i decided my birthday could be the perfect time. I had to go after work and that night i ended up getting off around 10. There was one guy and two girls there. The guy looked homeless so i assumed he didnt work there so it kind of caught me off guard when he asked me if there was anything i needed. The girls i was looking over at the chicks behind the counter making sure this guy actually worked here because the last thing i need is some crazy homeless dude trying to pierce me. Anyway, i told him what i wanted he said alright follow me, he got everything set up very professionally and made sure everything was all good before peircing even letting me look at where hes placing the labret before he actually punctures my face. It was off center so i let him know and he fixed it. He was really polite about it despite how late it was and how difficult it was getting the sharpie off to reposition it. When it was right where it needed to be he went for it. I wasnt expecting it not to hurt but it hurt like an SOB. Once he got it through he lost the hole when he went to put the stud in. Dude had to pierce it twice in one go to get the stud through, successfully. It became infected despite my efforts to keep it clean and stuff. Needless to say, i no longer have my labret. Thank you.

Piercer had people in the room while with a client not focusing on the customer. Gave a hard time about using a card to pay when we literally called 2 mins before we got there and they assured us we could pay with a card.

This place is just beat up all together. The employees are extremely rude and antisocial. Some of the artists suck at doing tattoos and need to find another profession and they are in such a hurry to get a tattoo done that they cant even do the outline right. Very messy. Be prepared to have many touch ups or even have to go somewhere else to get a complete cover up. I would not recommend this place at all.

Poor customer service. I called to see if they were busy they said no, come in. I get there and was pignored no one asked if they could help. This used to be my go to shop back in the day especially when Matt F use to work there. I will say I would never step back into this business. I never been to a tat shop where people just seem to hate their jobs. I don’t understand how they expect to make money if they don’t want to work and provide tattoos. This experience was piss poor.

This place is HORRIBLE. If there was a way to give negative stars I would. I have been a piercer for over 10 years and I have only been in NC for 6 months and have fixed so much from this shop that its unreal. A client came in and she had gotten her belly button pierced, Im not sure what the hell they were going for but this moron was no where close to the spot it was supposed to be . Got my first tattoo here and it was an awful experience. The guy who did my tattoo was very rude to me and make fun of what I was getting. He completely messed up part of my tattoo and its took over 2 months to heal properly.

My septum was pierced uneven and incorrectly here. do not go here for piercings!!! they had a guy who didn’t know what he was doing and a woman had to supervise him. it was still done wrong, now i have to let it close and get it repierced.

If youre going to go to this facility to get a tattoo, I highly suggest asking for Michelle. She was able to fix an element of my tattoo that one of her colleagues botched and I am so much happier with it now. The tattoo was in memory of something from my childhood and my mom, who recently passed, and I was so upset when the first guy who did it completely messed it up. However, I did have to pay another $40 for them to fix it, which I found ridiculous when they messed it up in the first place.

Waited 10 mins for someone to find out what i wanted, then the piercer told me i didnt have a tongue that was good for piercing. when i chose to redo my navel piercing, she didnt pierce it right. it was pierced crooked and about an inch and a half above my belly button. she free handed it all. when i called back up there, they told me if i wanted them to redo it i would have to take it out and let it heal up again. i called another place and they told me i didnt have to let it heal up and become a scar again to get it redone. DO NOT GO TO INK LINK! i was charged $20 for a piece of crap piercing.

Went there for Christmas and walked out 8hrs later to what looks worse than a jail house tattoo. I literally wanted to cry. Its on my forearm and its big and it now has to be fixed. I cant believe they would let someone do work like that. My 14yr old could have done better😠

My friend got her nose pierced. The gentleman doing it was very professional and thorough about the process. It is healing very nicely.

Go to D, I have gotten several intricate peices from him so far, hes a stand up guy and I would definitily recommend him for any tattoos you need to get, other than that the whole vibe is dope and the staff is chill

I would never get a piercing or tattoo here its nasty and all i hear about is hepatitis break outs! Ive never seen a needle come out of its original packaging, which is a little suspicious to me. Also what the hell kinda piercing/tattoo parlor has a pool table this isnt a bar!

My worst ink/piercing shop experience . I tried to crack a joke when I walked in because they all looked bored. Fail.Most places take extreme care to be sanitary while handling earrings, especially when you havent decided on a pair. Not here. They started pulling out random pairs without gloves on asking me which pair I liked..

I was satisfied with my tattoo at first, now it looks like a kid did it not happy at all.

Got my dermal done going on 3 years ago and havent ever had my ball changed on it because I couldnt get it off. I finally went to ink link tonight and the girl changed it for me. She had a tool she broke it loose with and I never felt anything .. so thankful I went now. Thanks guys!! 🙂

Piercing Guy was fantastic .he has done all of my piercings. Only reason they got a 4 is because they allow foul mouthed trash in there
