Awesome experience here all the way around. Allen is a great artist who spent a lot of time, effort and energy taking my roughest draft and turning it into exactly what I had envisioned. Hes also just a great human who was kind, joked with me and made sure I was comfortable and happy the whole time. I felt at home and included by the entire Monday night staff, they were all incredibly friendly and helpful. Lastly, the shop itself is really cool inside (definitely not what I expected based on the outside location). It is kept clean, aesthetically pleasing, fun and comforting. First tattoo shop I can 100% say I will go back to and recommend to friends/family.

Keke has done two tattoos for me. She is a wonderful artist and made my ideas come to life. The environment feels so homey at this shop and I immediately felt comfortable! She does awesome line work as well!

I got my septum pierced here three months ago by Keke. Went to get new jewelry put in after it healed and my septum piercing is crooked and not pierced in the correct spot. I would not recommend anyone getting pierced at Double Down Tattoo and Body Piercing.

Great place to get an epic tatto or a pleasure tickling piercing from some great people or even a few odd ones! Great vibe and staff that will accommodate the customer! Gotta appreciate that and piercing the right way without a gun, and using a STERILE needle with a well trained hand instead! Anyway, if you need something, they can hook you up... literally if need be, lol!Forgot to add that I have gotten 2 tattoos had a venom piercing a double eyebrow piercing, all here!

Morgan is beyond amazing. I live in Utah and it has became a family tradition to go visit Morgan and get new art every time Im in town. Morgan just recently did a memorial tattoo for my best friend I lost recently. And a brother/sister piece. He took my idea and went above and beyond what I had in my head. He is amazing at what he does and actually listens to what youre saying. Its a plus he has a good sense of humor as well🤣 see you in a few months Morgan!!🤣🤣

My client started getting tatts a couple mths ago and first one was good then they became alright last one is horrible.i no alot of tatt artist.and last one looks like a child dod ot.plus as a tatt artist your supposed to tell the person if you think its a good spot or your ideas.Thats your name.Not just do it cause its easy money.It was the female artist

Okay, so I honestly came on a whim. It was VERY late, but Scotty was willing to tattoo my moms memorial for me. Scotty did an AMAZING job and I still get compliments.

Overall a great place. Clean and sanitary. They took us same day and the tattoos look AMAZING. The artist that tattooed us did spend more time talking than tattooing, two smaller tattoos should not take 2+ hours. Also one of our tattoos was quoted $150 and the other $200, they swapped the prices of the tattoo which left my friend needing to pull out more cash than brought, and this happened even after signing the form that stated it would only be $150. Make sure you verify the price of the tattoo before starting, they will try to make you pay extra.

Always love this tattoo shop. 🙌🏼 they are real and upfront. Caring for your piercings and tattoos is very vital. I’ve only been cleaning my piercings with water and I have no infection or anything. She did advise me to clean with anti-bacterial soap, but my body does well with just keeping them clean and clear of debris. 😌

Tim at Double Down reminds me of Rembrandt. He did exactly what I asked for only he did it better than I expected. Sometimes the music there is too much death metal, but when I sat it was a lot of Van Halen which was my favorite band in high school, so it worked out great. Tim is also very reasonable in his pricing and hes committed to Excellence. Highly recommend.

Havent got tatted here, but I got an industrial piercing, and got my daughter snake bite piercings. Standard pricing, they were quick and professional both times. These guys are awesome! Highly recommend!

I’ve come here before for a couple tattoos. Their minimum price for a tattoo is $60, which is a better price than other places. The artists are always friendly and I love the atmosphere of the shop. My only complaint really is the wait times. It’s usually an hour for a walk-in. They do offer ways around this, though. You’re welcome to leave and come back in an hour. They hold your spot for you. Or you can schedule an appointment ahead of time. Both are great options and I’ve loved the work I’ve gotten from them. Stephan, so far, is my favorite artist.

I use to love coming to Double Down when Jesse was there but a family member and I went last week to get a simple tattoo and we were quoted $60 we confirmed it would be $60 but at the end the guy wanted to more the double both of us on our tattoos. I understand if it was a bit more but pulling something like that because were 2 females and you were in the shop alone after hours is pretty shady. Then also after our tattoos were done he didnt wrap them or cover them. Honestly neither of us would return.

Line was out the door! No idea it was for tattoos until this lovely girl and her bf told us it was for tattoos and piercings were way quicker. And they weren’t lying. Went inside and it was less than a 10 minute wait to get mine and my daughters noses pierced to perfection! Thank you so much to everyone there! They all made us feel welcome. And the gentlemen who pierced our nose was incredibly professional.

DONT GO ALONE or at all, they will give a crazy price and also give you a crooked piercing and then try to not show you unless you ask for the mirror, they say its a spacious place on google but then seat you on an uneven tattoo chair with the excuse that theyre working with very little space when the whole store is empty, i planned on coming here for the rest of my piercings(if it was good) but im never coming back again. check all reviews. overpriced and unprofessional.

The shop was very welcoming and friendly. They make you feel like regular the first time you there. The artist Morgan is my favorite. He is professional but friendly. He is an artist that loves his job not just for the money. He can do tattoos from original work to what ever you would like!

Really enjoyed my experience here . My artist was Keke and she gave me a four leaf clover . I was trying to be spontaneous and do something for my birthday . Keke made me comfortable and made my vision visual . I would definitely go back and I recommend you do to !!

This place is awesome! The artist I see is Mia and I have been going to see her at Double Down Tattoo for the last 18 months. Mia has done all the work on my left arm and it looks amazing! I have been having some sessions at this tattoo parlor, and have had the pleasure of being Stephen’s client, and after experiencing bad/rude tattoo artists at other places, I was surprised by Stephen’s hospitality, and the whole team making sure everyone has been talked to, and taken care of. Stephen is smart, and will make sure you’re getting what you want, but also making sure that it turns out AWESOME. My piece is unfinished, but it is already incredible. I highly recommend Stephen, and/or anyone at Double Down Tattoo for quick care and great tattoo service.

I went to Mia to have a cover up done. Let’s say I am beyond happy with my results, my tattoo came out so beautiful and I get so many compliments. The shop is clean and has tons of artwork to keep your eyes busy while getting work done. Highly recommend going to see Mia if you are looking to get a new piece!

This is the shop you should go , youll never want to go anywhere else ; very friendly and laid back! When you walk in you feel that home type vibe and all the artists are very personable! Ive been tattooed by Mia , Scotty , Morgan ,Tim and Steve. Even if you think you dont have any ideas or you want to expand the ideas they all are great!

Love this shop and the staff. Everyone is friendly and they do great work. I have gotten several tattoos done by Jesse at Double Down and so have my kids. We will definitely be going back for all our tattoo needs.

I went to see Allen and was told a set price for my tattoo and told that he doesn’t change price once he’s set it. 6 paid sessions later he tells me because the tattoo is going to be bigger than expected that he would need about $100 more. Not a problem for me, I pay it and think tattoo will finally be finished. Not the case and told we will need one more session. Again, not a problem. Come in for final session and I am told that our discussion is not what happened and that I am taking advantage of him and he yet again wants more money. When my husband went in to find out what’s the deal he gets told “well you weren’t here when I discussed prices with your wife”. So he clearly takes advantage of people who go alone so there’s no one else to argue prices. Very rude and unprofessional.

Husband and I went to get inked for our Christmas gifts. We basically spent all day there. Morgan was amazing! We explained what we were looking for and he made our ideas come alive on skin. He was very professional and friendly at the same time. Clean establishment as well.

I go to Tim at Double Down Tattoo. He’s done all the work on my right arm, which is now almost a sleeve. I highly recommend him. Everyone there is really nice. The shop is clean. Tim is fantastic at doing coverups.

I went here 2 times this year for Friday the 13th events. The first time was great. Mia did a great job on my roller skate with laces spelling love tattoo on my right collar bone. Went back for the second time to have a matching tattoo done on the other side to be symmetrical. Again I had Mia do the tattoo of a roller skate but with the laces spelling hate instead. Not happy with it at all. The size of the lettering is way off. Its so small you cant see it. Why wouldnt you make them the same size? Both 4 letters so should be same size....nope not at all.

Nate (Nathan) has to be one of the BEST artist yet that I have been tattooed by. He is friendly, cool to hang with at the shop, his price is down right awesome and he is a TRUE artist by far. He covered up a terrible tat on my shoulder and it looks amazing, I get compliments by everyone. I highly recommend going to Nate and no one else at Double Down Tattoo!

This was my first time here and it was to get my daughters ears pierced (she had them pierced 9 years ago the traditional way but they became infected due to an unknown metal allergy). Aaron is the gentleman who did the piercings and he was wonderful. My daughter was nervous, understandably so, but Aaron reassured her that she would do/be fine....he explained what he was going to do and let her know how to take care of her ears afterward & what she could expect (Aaron put her at ease and did the piercings). This tattoo shop is a very nice shop with an open floor plan & great works of art all over the walls....the lobby/waiting area is very cozy with a couple plush couches & a Foosball Table. They are a Cash-Only shop and have an ATM inside for the customers convenience. If you are looking for a tattoo shop or body piercing give Double Down Tattoo Shop a try. Allen the tattoo artist there will lie about the price tell you to pay $350 more than set price..... took 6 sessions for calf piece that’s not done takes advantage of women! Went to talk to him about it and he talked about him self like he was the best artist ever and all her other tattoos weren’t as good as his.... this guy is a joke! Don’t go!!

Me and my sister went in 2 weeks ago. Both of us got a hand tattoo. Nick did my sisters I forgot the man name that did mines. Both of our tattoos are faded 2WEEKS after getting the tattoos. called and asked to speak to the manager he said basically pay for a touch up or get the person who did it to do it again. Why would I want the same person to tattoo me again if I feel like he didn’t do a good job. Horrible service when the tattoo is not right and they want extra money to fix it!!! I would not recommend this place ..!!!

Me and my three friends went here to get our noses and belly button pierced, and were super impressed! Everything was very sanitary, and everyone was very friendly! Nate did all our piercings and did an amazing job! :) We will definitely be going back for our tattoos!

The place was so busy when we got there, we literally had to wait four hours to be seen. We didnt know that was going to take so long and it was our fault for sticking it out, but at a $13 price, we wanted to stay.The artists were helpful and nice enough, we even found that an artist friend of a friend of ours was working here too, Scotty said hello. The ladies working the counter had a lot on their hands and were getting things set up when they could.Our process was a timed one so they had to keep track of each minute it took to complete, my tattoo ended up being $15, my husbands, $17. We finally get to the counter to pay and find that we can only pay with cash...so we scramble around to try and figure it out, they had an ATM right inside so we took the amount out.They wouldnt accept the twenties we had because people have been paying with twenties all night and they didnt have the change. The three ladies just kinda stared at us waiting for us to respond, what were we supposed to do? That wasnt our fault they were out of change AND nowhere did it say that this was a cash only process, otherwise we would have went to get cash during the four hour wait!So we handed them the cash we had and left, tired of the chaos and not wanting to hold up the many people still waiting. What was supposed to be a $30-ish experience turned into an almost $60 payment including the $9 tip we gave our artist. I mean, we still have a freebie touch-up to do (as invited by our artist) but what might happen if we go back in again?

Morgan is the best dude to go to for your ink needs. Very sanitary and very welcoming. Hes doing all of my cover ups and then some. I highly recommend him!

I usually dont leave a review for any place. However, this place was amazing. They were very quick to help me with what I needed. I got a vertical industrial piercing (goes through top helix and the conch) here, and the piercer was very nice and very professional. The piercing did not hurt much at all, and I live it! Best place to go to for piercings in my opinion.

I went in tonight and wanted some lettering done the guy said to give him a sec his sec turned into 45 minutes when he finally came out he drew some letters I didnt want and didnt ask for he didnt work with me he wanted to do his thing not mine so when he went back into the back room again we left!! another customer came in and got tired of waiting for someone to help him and left while one of the employees was sleeping on the couch!! Never again I have never had such horrible customer service!! I will not b stepping into that joint again for sure...

Very quick service. The only complaint i have is that they did not say anything after the piercing like in regards to caring for it. He just said to come see him if we have any problems. Other than that they were awesome!

LONE LADIES BEWARE. Was quoted one price on a piercing by Alan, was given a $40 quote both on the phone and in person when I walked in. After I was pierced, he doubled the price. I was alone and it was after dark, so I was basically backed into a corner and forced to pay. Absolute scumbag behavior.

Called to see about walking in to get a tattoo from this place, and the gentleman that answered the phone was very rude and disrespectful. I asked if they had someone available that could tattoo a small quote that Id been wanting to get done, and he kept acting like he couldnt hear, nor understand me.

I highly recommend coming to double down if youre looking for great work, I have multiple tattoos done by Morgan including a full sleeve, leg peice, etc, Ive followed him from a previous shop just because of how amazing his work is!

I got a tattoo yesterday by Mia. Omg she is the best Thanks Mia, my daughter and I got mother and daughter tattoos,

I called and was quoted $20 on a piercing and once it was all over with the piercer told me $40. Also putting a 14 gauge after I asked for a 16. I was pissed. I learned my lesson never going back there.
