Someone recommended me Gabe. I looked into his work and was great stuff! Book my first appointment with him and loved his work. Had such a great vibe from great day and from Gabe. Had fun conversation and help me with my second tattoo. I always recommend people to his page and great days page. Gabe is my go to guy!

Gabe is an incredible tattooer and person! He did my first tattoo and I have been going back since. The atmosphere at Great Day is awesome and I have always felt comfortable. I have gotten flash designs and custom artwork and Gabe was so helpful and attentive with both. He listened to my needs and wants and the entire experience has never been intimidating. I recommend Gabe to all of my friends and always get so many compliments on the pieces hes done!

Great Day is the best place to get a tattoo in Golden! I was looking for a shop after moving, and got a flash tattoo from Gabe Messa. Not only was the design awesome, but Gabe was excellent, professional, and it healed up super well. I then decided to get a full back piece from Gabe based on my initial experience. He was able to take a photorealistic reference and translate it into original traditional art. He incorporated everything I wanted and designed a piece that fit my back perfectly. Where to begin!Bart and Gabe are some of the most professional, most down to earth tattoo artists I’ve ever met. They do not gouge you for price, deliver the goods, and do so with efficiency and style. I lived in Golden for years and Bart was my go to guy. When he opened the shop in Indianapolis, I was able to get tattoos from Gabe that are also some of my favorites I’ve gotten. I now live in Florida and have made trips to Golden and Indianapolis to get tattooed from these guys. If you are so lucky to live in the front range, look no further. Gabe set me up with a really nice rattlesnake coiled around my left bicep down to my forearm. He was really thoughtful through the design process and while tattooing me was more than okay with little breaks and making me comfortable. I love this shop so much and could not recommend them enough!

Bart did tat #10 for me... a celtic themed symbol with GREAT meaning to me and he did it perfectly. I have a tattooist here in CO who did my 1/2 sleeve, but decided to give Bart a chance as he kept coming into my work making copies of tats / prints to sell / etc... Im glad I did. :-) He wont disappoint!He is very light handed so you dont feel much, talkative - so you dont get bored sitting, and prices are reasonable! Trust me...tell him what you want, send some photos, and let him do his magic!

Bart is truly a awesome tattoo artist!!! I had ink done over the past year and keep going back to have more added. Started out with just one and just kept adding, with both of us coming up with different ideas and bouncing the ideas back and forth and Bart getting your idea right every time. Two lower arm selves completed and heading in for upper arms done. I had so many people stop and ask about the work and who did the ink. Nothing but compliments. By far the greatest tattoo experience I’ve ever had. I’ve been tattooed in IN, MN, TX, KY, TN, and NV but this was the most friendly, reasonably priced, top grade quality, and fast tattooing experience I’ve had. I’m vacationing in CO and it’s the day before Independence Day and Matt was still accepting walk ins. He gave my girlfriend her first tattoo and did a couple more on me. His artistry and talent is, without question, impressive and inspiring. If you’re lucky enough to get tattooed here then you won’t regret it. 5 stars in every category.

I got in contact with one of the artists there about a few projects I wanted to get started on. He responded super quickly and was very kind and professional. Overall our experience was one of the best I’ve ever had. I had several friends wanted to get tattooed and our artist was amazing and did all of them plus touch ups and it was just a super amazing experience. The other artists are super friendly and welcoming, music is great and all around the vibes are spot on. I worked with Keith on a custom piece for my leg. He was very committed to making my idea come to life. I enjoyed exchanging messages with him to discuss ideas in the week leading up to our session. When I met Keith, we spent some time reviewing the design together and making minor adjustments to match my body geometry. When I was on the table, he did a great job making sure I was comfortable and explaining the process to me (it was my first tattoo). I really enjoyed working with Keith at Great Day and I would happily get tattooed by him again.

I have four tattoos from THE Bart Leonard and he is the man you want tattooing you! His line work is great, his ideas and concept design are very unique, and his attention to detail is impeccable. He’s very sanitary and is a cool cat to talk to. Bart has a way to incorporate old style tattooing by using simple lines so that the tattoo last longer and looks good even when they fade over time. Needless to say I won’t have anyone else giving me tattoos in the future! Thanks Bart!

Bart has done my first two tattoos (an arm band and a half sleeve) and I can’t imagine going to anyone else. His shop is welcoming and clean, and Bart is a great guy to spend a couple hours with. I love both of my tattoos from Bart! One of them at first was supposed to be a leg tattoo, but when I got it I told him I’d rather it be on my ribs which is a much harder place to tattoo. He was more then chill about it and after changing up a couple things was ready to roll! It’s extremely clean and my favorite of all my tattoos! Bart was phenomenal! My best friend and I had been wanting to get tattoos together for a while and when I stumbled upon Bart’s shop (on my way to Bonfire Burritos 🤤), I had to check it out. I made an appointment with him for that Friday and he told me to send over what I had in mind.We’re big Harry Potter people so we went the classic/cliche route of ‘I solemnly sweaty that I am up to no good’ and ‘mischief managed.’ I’m big on calligraphy and lettering so I did a mock up and sent him pictures.When we got in, he traced them out and we discussed where we wanted them. My friend did the upper ribs/underboobs area and I got it on my upper ribs. He made sure we were happy about the location, size and angle. Hers was a bit of an intimate spot, but he was so kind and funny that he made us feel very comfortable. It wasn’t awkward or weird. It also helped that we were the only ones there.Ribs aren’t the most lovely place to get tattoos, but he made the whole experience really enjoyable. He told funny antidotes and jokes and was a very easy conversationalist.The whole thing was ideal. We both have other tattoos and I would definitely say this was my favorite experience. Great Day was advertising walk-in first come first serve tattoos for Halloween. The event started at 11am, so my partner and I got there at 9:30am, put our names on the list, and came back right at 10:45am so we could be first in line. Mind you, we talked with both artists at 9:30 that morning when we signed up and they said theyd call us at 11am for our tattoos.When we got there, we were told we have to wait until 2pm because the artist is tattooing friends of theirs. Super unprofessional and downright rude if you ask me. Not coming back.

Called the shop looking to get a design flashed, they were courteous and prompt. Went in and had Gabe transfer the design, position it, and ink it on me. Staff was friendly, fun, and attentive. Pleased with how the tattoo came out, the price, and the overall process. Got an older tattoo touched up as well. Would recommend.

Abby did such a wonderful job, cool calm and collective from start to finish. I would recommend 10/10. P.S. great music felt very relaxed the whole time.
