It was a gift for my 12 yr old grandson for Christmas.It was so much fun watching the wonder in his eyes as he put the skateboard to all his liking.Joe was so kool and really took his time with my grandson made it the BEST experience ever!!!!Thank you!

The guy in the shop was really knowledgeable and helpful. I have 5 kids but he was great at answering their questions and helping us look around. There was a great selection of boards and long boards, trucks and wheels, and they do adjustments in the shop. There were really cool hoodies too. We will definitely be back for gear as the weather warms up and were out at the local skatepark more.

Excellent small skate shop. My 1st time there the gentleman working was very helpful. I recently purchased a fresh pair of Godfather quads. I only tried them on, havent skated in them yet. Well this helpful gentleman adjusted my wheels without me even asking! 1st impression is always a lasting impression!

Went in recently to build a deck from scratch without much of an idea what I was looking for. The guy there was insanely knowledgable. He got me set up with everything I needed and offered to build the deck, and gave great advice on deck construction and maintainence.

So coming out of 2020 hell, I decided that my resolution for the new year was to have more fun by learning to skateboard! As a 30 year old complete newb, I was a bit nervous to go to a skate shop. I figured I’d probably be scoffed at as being an uncool “old guy” try to pose as a cool skater dude for a 1/3 life crisis. However, I put on my brave big boy pants and headed to The Skate Shop at a friend’s recommendation. So glad I did! They were great! Super chill and helpful. They have an AWESOME selection of boards and all the hardware. Joe talked with me through everything to help me get set up and answered all of my questions. Put my board together for free and even threw in grip tape and hardware! Great dudes here. Will definitely be hitting them up for all future skateboard needs! Thanks guys!

Best mom n pop store hands down for anyone that cares about shredding anymore.Not only were the cats super knowledgeable and helpful and they did without making someone beginning feel anxious about asking beginners questions..Oh n they actually skate.. So they can wax philosophical about rad parks and local spots from yesteryear when kids blazed and skated instead of smashing Playstation buttons..Only real skate shop left in Cent. One of the best skateshops ive been too, i moved to the east coast about a year and a half ago and this place is by far one of the best shops ive been too. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Stay shreddin💪

I came in with alot of dumb questions, and got alot of very straight forward information in return. He was very patient with how little I knew about skating, and was more than helpful in helping me find exactly what I needed to get started. Very grateful for the patience and assistance!

Knowledgeable, well-stocked when everyone else was running low, and most importantly, they have SOUL.They made my daughters day by getting her a board asap, and the owner/operator is a cooperative cut-up with 40 years of skating, so he knows from quality and hype.

Great shop that is skater owned and operated. Nice selection of park, street and long boards! They carry all the accessories you need like wheels, bearings, trucks, bushings and tools. Check out their website for the brands they carry. They are located close to the Steelton Skatepark which is convenient when you really need something!

I havent skateboard it in I dont remember how many years I probably stop skating around 2000 maybe 99 and I skated for 4 years.None of the skate shops are open anymore that I used to go toFast forward to today I have two kids one of them likes to skateboard now and I cannot be happier. These people are amazing at this shop-!!!

First time going to a skate shop staff was very nice and informative selection was also very good wide range of trucks wheels bearings and awesome looking custom made decks I got to meet the owner too who was very nice the best part is that they are open later than any other skate shop in our area totally worth going
