John did mine and my daughters tattoos. He was very patient and did beautiful artwork. He made it a pleasant experience. Highly recommend.

I went in as a walk for a small hip tattoo and all the staff was very friendly. I didnt catch my artists name, but he was kind, efficient, and the place was very clean. it seems to be a chill environment and i didnt feel uncomfortable being one of the only females there. and the price was great for something simple, whereas other shops would for sure have cost an extra $50 for what i got

John was a great tattoo artist he actually explained what we should do for my tattoo and he had a great customer service!!!! I would definitely recommend him for your next tattoo!!!

I’ve been here multiple times for tattoos & have been tattooed by multiple people. Just got a new tat last night by Monty. HE WAS AMAZING. 4 1/2 hours on a tat. I left the shop close to 1 AM & that was due to Monty taking his time and perfecting his work. I am so happy with my newest tat & am extremely satisfied with how into his work he is. Monty you are great, again THANK YOU!

My wife and I have been going to Dreamland for over 2 years now and can only say great things about this place! Mike and Jac are not only incredible artists but incredible people! Every appointment is such an enjoyable time and everyone in the shop makes the experience great. They did a really good job. Outstanding work from their artist, Monty. Everyone was nice. However, I will note that I paid 500 plus a 100 dollar tip for this, so it was priced according to the quality of the work, but that is what you want with tattoos... Theyre permanent. It wouldve been a 5 out of 5, but basically like the front counter guy forgot to respond to one of my emails for like 5 days until I reminded him, which is pretty forgivable, I mean people make mistakes. However, what makes it an issue is he forgot and then lied about it, because thats not an accident, thats a conscious choice. He said they were closed for the first two days (true), and then he was like sick for a couple days. Which makes no sense, because you wouldve thought someone else wouldve responded to me. It was the store email, so someones gotta be working the front desk each day. Im not petty enough to leave a 1 star review over that, but it is a business, and being professional is important. The quality of the art is not the only thing that matters.

I could not have asked for a better experience!!! I got my nose pierced by Mike who put me at ease, made me laugh, and was so patient, kind, funny, and informative. The piercing didnt even really hurt. The receptionist was kind over the phone, and they were very punctual. Overall, just an excellent, clean, and friendly atmosphere. (I decided to come here because of all the good reviews, and this place exceeded my expectations.)

My sisters and I had the best experience getting our tattoos done by Jack. She was patient, personable, and approachable. Her pricing was reasonable and she did a great work. My sister and I got a “fine line” tattoo of the word trust. I am so thankful I found a tattoo artist like Jack.

Love this shop!! The best one I have been to in Harrisonburg. The staff is really nice and dope. The shop has a really good vibe too. Sarah helped me out with picking jewelry and putting it on. They have a wide selection of jewelry and you can even change the color of it!! I highly recommend coming here if you want something done.

Mike is hands down and by far the best tattoo artist around. His shop is extremely clean, its a very comfortable atmosphere, and his employees are all super kind and very friendly. There is no other place Id go to to have any kind of work done on me and theres no one else id ever let tattoo me except him, if hes busy or cant fit me in, I wait till he can.

After they pierced my nose they said I could come back in anytime after it was healed if I wanted help changing out the stud for the first time. Went here for the first time today to get a helix piercing and I couldnt be any more pleased. The people that work there are very nice and helpfu,l and very professional. I went into the shop about 3 days before getting my piercing done just to meet the owner and ask some questions. Mike is a amazing dude. Made sure that i knew exactly what was going to be done and let me know what to expect. Went in this morning to get my Prince Albert done. The whole thing from paperwork, prep and piercing took less than 15 mins. He made sure i was comfortable and talked me through each step making sure i stayed informed on what was about to take place. The piercing looks fantastic and I couldnt be happier with the service I received.

Got my first tattoo here from Jack. Only got it one day ago and absolutely love it! Jack was really supportive asking me how I was doing since it was my first one. The overall staff was super nice and Jack got another workers opinion to make sure I tattoo was centered with my chest. Definitely recommend going here for first timers and anyone thinking about getting another one!

The place is appointment only, so they were super nice on the phone. (Even apologized when the connection went bad.😂) I had my nostril and lobes done, and Mike was really chill about everything. Informative about their job and communicative. I will definitely be going back in the future.

Place is very clean and organized. Woman who did my nose piercing was patient and willing to answer all questions, professional and knowledgeable to anything I asked, and talked me through every step. Also opened equipment in front of me, all sterile and disposable. She even used all natural, gentle soap to clean my nose before which I thought was nice. Id like to go in for a tattoo soon!

Everyone here was so great. They answered all of my questions when getting my navel and daith pierced. They were very patient and helpful. Even though the navel ring was rejected by my body (Which I kind of expected.), and I had to take the daith piercing out for a medical procedure, they were so super through both. Im definitely getting my next tattoos and my other color refreshed there!!

I walked in about 20 minutes before they were closing but they gladly took. I had Jason and he was fantastic! Ive been to Painted Lady in the past, but I will go to Dreamland for any future work. I had a rib peace done and kept twitching, but Jason went back and smoothed everything out. He and the rest of the staff were extremely patient and lad back. It is a fantastic, clean, and fun environment. I would highly suggest them if you need any work done.

Not only are the walkins for tattoos not worth their time, but the owner is also rude as all get out. The work is par at best nothing to write home about. Then my husband had to ask for it to be wrapped. But Steph the receptionist is very polite and nice. She tries to be accommodating at best.

Went to Dreamland to have my double cartilage piercings looked at. Morgan was a great help in cleaning my piercing, giving me advice on how to treat my piercing, and put in two new hoops. She definitely knows what she is talking about! Highly Recommend. My piercings are looking better already. Thank you!!!

Got my first tattoo done here, and had Jason (Mr. J) he is the one with the Avatar the Last Airbender tattoo all along his head. He has a wicked sense of humor, and is very sweet. He does great work, he designed my tattoo almost entirely from scratch, and made sure it was perfect! I would highly recommend him!!!

I highly recommend Dreamland over Ally Cat. They were super friendly and professional. Their set up is clean and has that authentic tattoo shop atmosphere. The guy who pierced my nose was super engaged and obviously has a passion for what he does. Not only was he gentle, but he was very experienced with piercings. He talked me through the process step by step and provided ample information on taking care of it. He talked me out of buying the expensive brand name cleanser that they carried and tipped me off on much, much cheaper alternatives. This shows that theyre not just in it for the business, they really do want whats best for their clients! I was very impressed!

Everytime I go in there, theyre so nice and professional. Andy pierced my nose for me and it was an amazing experience. Nic did my eyebrow piercing I just got today on 8/31/16 and it was clean and done amazingly. I cant wait to get my future tatts and piercings from them. I trust them so much. I also got my industrial pierced by Mike on 12/02/16 and he did an amazing and clean job. 10/10 would recommend going to Dreamland.

Jeremy did my tattoo and he was very nice and patient. They use all disposable needles very huge array of ink to many colors to count. He is a great artist and drew my tattoo from scratch. Very very clean lines when I thought they would be choppy or not strait they were PERFECT. He really knows how to mix colors well also and knows what the colors will look like when they fade. There is also a guy named Mike there and I heard from friends that he does great work also but I think he only does bigger pieces. There are 5 tattoo studios in Harrisonburg Va. Skip all the rest and go strait to the best. You will be pleased guaranteed.

I go to JMU and had been thinking about a tattoo for a while. I hadnt found anyone that I felt could create what I truly wanted until I walked into Dreamland. From the start I got good vibes about the place and let them know how particular I was. Sara at the front eased all my worries by explaining everything I needed to know and showing me anything she could in order for me to get the tattoo I wanted. Then Mike spent as much time as I wanted designing my tattoo, and even went as far to use a technology that showed what it would look like on my body, and created a tattoo that was exactly what I wanted. They were clean, professional, fun and my tattoo came out better than I could have imagined.I definitely recommend.

I got my first tattoo at Dreamland. I actually got 2 in one day. I had a wonderful experience. They were all super nice and the place was very clean. I drove from Virginia Beach to get my tattoo after a recommendation from a friend to go here. I Visit the area often so will definitely use dreamland for future tattoos and piercings.

Didn’t examine my anatomy thouroughly before piercing me. Came back to get it evaluated and was basically told that the placement was correct even though it wasn’t as confirmed by other certified piercers. 7 months later my piercing was so irritated that I had to take them out and wasted around $100.

We didnt realize they closed at 8 but called when we were on our way and they were nice enough to stay past closing for us so that was really amazing of them. I absolutely do NOT recommend this place. For one walk ins are worth their time even though we literally had $5k in the car. And 2 they screwed my dermal piercing all up. Then they wouldnt even fix it. Go to Painted Lady!!! They are absolutely wonderful!!

Horrible service very rude attitude people.I got a piercing from there and they charge you 20$ just to replace your body jewelry for it fall out a week later ! Twice this has happened and they will charge you 20 every time it’s a scam they don’t put there jewelry on correctly. Very disappointed
