I recently had an appointment at Removery and was fortunate enough to be assisted by Aujhane. Despite arriving late due to traffic on I-95, Aujhane greeted me with a warm smile and exceptional professionalism. She went above and beyond to ensure I felt comfortable and well taken care of. Her customer service was truly outstanding, making what could have been a stressful situation into a pleasant experience. Since she became a part of the team there at the short pump location she has taken an already pleasant experience and amplified it times a million ! Thank you, Aujhane, for your kindness and dedication!

Process was very easy going even though the procedure is not, lol. In my personal experience, the tattoo hurt far less than the removal process. I have been to other tattoo removal places (in the VA and NC area) and I must say......this business is best one to go to. Having darker skin, I now have hyperpigmentation in areas from not so good business (NC business, I literally had ripplingly pains/shocks 3 days after that procedure). I HAVENT had that problem here at REMOVERY. They also do a good job making you feel comfortable and relaxed during this nerve recking process. I will be back! GREAT SERVICE, PROFESSIONAL, AND GREAT QUALITY WORK.!

Tiffany and Sheena are both great at what they do in the tattoo removal industry. I’ve gone to this Removery location in Short Pump for 11 treatments now and have had great progress. Tiffany is the laser removal staff member at this location and she always has a great attitude and takes her time in showing me the progress photos. Tattoo removal is not fun but Tiffany has been very patient with me and makes sure that I am comfortable. I also rescheduled my appointments quite a few times and they’ve been very accommodating. I also paid a flat price in the beginning which would cover unlimited sessions to get rid of my tattoo. I have not had any issues with post laser treatment reactions. Getting a tattoo removed I assumed was easy. Didn’t realize that it takes as long as it does to not damage your skin and erase the mistake I made by getting one that needed removal. They have been awesome assisting me and helpful along the journey

I went to the Henrico location and my experience was great! I was greeted by warm smiles from Sheena and Tiff. The space was very pretty. Both Sheena and Tiff made sure that I was well informed of the whole process and assured that I was comfortable overall. First of all, let me start by saying that it has been made clear to me recently that these people DO NOT care about you. Once they have your money, and you’re nearing the end of your treatment, all of the smiles and niceties go out the door. I urge you to go to a smaller locally owned business where they may actually treat you like a decent human being when you ask simple questions that most people will likely inevitably have. For reference, I’ve been going to this location for some time. For the most part, people were always nice enough, however sometimes, almost as a rule, they would get annoyed with you for asking questions. This has only gotten worse and WORSE over the years. You are just a number to them and in my experience, they truly want you to come in, shut up, have your silly little treatment, and leave. Well this is your body! And it may not be just a silly little treatment to you. Just like anything adjacent to the healthcare field, you are your only advocate and you have a right to respectfully ask questions and get a reasonable response in return. Even if it’s not 100% great news, there should be time taken for someone to listen to your concerns and explain their position as “the expert.” I have truly reached my breaking point with this place and one Technician in specific. My issue with my visit is less with the initial question that I had going in but with the abrupt, incredibly cold, and rude manner in which Tiffany responded. Her rude response seemed to be made with no logical reasoning, on the fly, out of annoyance, just to end the conversation which had LITERALLY just began 30 seconds prior. So rude. I have another small tattoo that I will likely remove but I will NOT be going back to Removery EVER!!!! Take your hard-earned money somewhere that you will be treated decently and with at least some amount of care.

I recommend this place if you really want to remove/fade your tattoo. It’s awesome! Excellent customer service, professional technicians, and not to mention top notch laser removal equipment that does not damage your skin. 10/10

Last time I got a treatment (another company) was 10 years ago. I kid you not the treatment itself took less than 2min! I thought she was still working on one area, then I hear ALL DONE! Highly recommend and staff was very friendly

So Ive been getting treated for about two years as I have alot of ink to remove. The staff is always very professional. My sessions are always quick, efficient and professional. I still have along way to finish but Im grateful for the way they handled my project.

Love tho space! My poor sister went with another tattoo removal place that charges by the visit and has spent far more than what she was quoted for when she started. She’s stopped going because the prices just ballooned. The Removery charges you one price for the removal f the tattoo and you go as many times as you need to remove it. They’re always prompt and flexible when I’m late or need to change an appt. Great removal clinic.

I’m not one to write a bad review, I think this is the first in my life. I purchased a 3 pack from Removery in Denver last year and after careful consideration, I reached back out to Removery recently, as I was considering the full removal package. I paid $900+ dollars for the three sessions I’ve already had, but there is NO discount offered when upgrading to full removal for the same tattoo. I was confused and disappointed in this policy. The woman I spoke to at the Richmond, Virginia office, Sheina, quoted me $1780 dollars just a few days ago for the full removal with the Black Friday discount. Again, after careful consideration, I called back a couple of days later (still during the Black Friday deal) and was quoted $200 more ($1980) with zero explanation. I was speaking with someone else who was kind and understanding and then was transferred to Sheina, who I spoke with the other day, and she was extremely condescending and rude. I’ll be going to a local business instead for my removal, and I’m honestly just sad to have spent any money at this chain.

I have been going here for 2-3 years now (lost track) and I have had nothing but positive experiences each time. The techs are so kind and chatty and make you feel really comfortable. Last time I went there was someone new I hadnt seen before and although she went slower, which is expected, I still felt confident in her abilities and I enjoyed talking to her. My tattoos are really stubborn and Im not sure about the progress, but I bought a package deal so I dont have to worry about the money each time. I also just enjoy seeing the staff...so hopefully I wont need sessions for 10+ years but even if I did, Id choose to go here!!

Sheena and Tiff were very sweet and nice people. I got my eyebrow tattoo removal laser here a few days ago and the whole process was pretty quick and easy. I did not feel any pain or discomfort during the process as well. It was a little pricey than my initial expectation but I am willing to try a few more sessions as I already saw an improvement!!

Went for a free consult today. This place is very thorough in explaining everything to me including the machine that will be used for my melanated skin. I have booked my removal and can’t wait to get it done. I will say it hurts. It feels like a good prick but tolerable.

TLDR : Removery is a large scale chain with a fast employee turnover rate, unskilled employees, scheduling issues, and an inferior laser; that pressures each customer for a 5 star review after the first visit. Go to Regretful Heart, hell, go to ANY other laser removal location, instead of Removery.Long version :Here’s some things you can expect when you book in at removery…An unnecessarily long and painful removal process. Their team LOVES anyone new to laser removal, as it’s very easy to convince the uneducated that their practices are top of the line. The reality is, they keep their lasers running much lower than what is recommended for removal. This results in much more pain and three times as many sessions, before you begin to see any lift in your tattoo. Their “numbing” process, if you can call it that, is outdated as well. They will place a cold pack over the area they are about to laser, and then will begin once the area gets cold. Obviously, the cooling effect of the ice pack wears off, and no further relief is provided. They do not blow continuous cold air over the area to be lasers, as is standard.A fully booked schedule. You may think, “hey! that’s a sign of success” unless you’ve actually run a business. Those of us who have, know that each scheduling period needs to have time set aside for rescheduling due to unforeseen circumstances, that could cause us to cancel on our clients. Like getting sick, or having a family emergency. This is especially beneficial when you’re running a business that requires clients to come on a routine, like every 8 weeks, as Removery does. Removery will not be able to reschedule you if they cancel your appointment, as they are booked back to back, and often only have one laser tech available due to their high turnover rate. So, if they cancel on you, please expect to wait a full 8 weeks before you will be seen.A higher service cost. Removery does offer a customized payment plan, which is what entices a lot of people who are in need of a removal but a little low on cash. However, the total cost with the amount of extra sessions you end up needing (due to improper laser/minimal lift) is going to be about double $$ of what you will find looking elsewhere.Since visiting Regretful Heart, I have experienced what laser tattoo removal should really be like. There is significantly less pain, significantly more lift, and significantly better customer service provided at every visit.

I am in the process of having two tattoos removed, and Removery has been amazing from the start. Their staff is knowledgeable, caring, friendly, and helpful. They are always more than willing to switch my appointments around, answer any questions I have about healing, and ensuring that the healing process goes smoothly. The flexibility in their pricing is great, especially for a single mom. I cant recommend them enough!

I came to Removery after having a few sessions of laser removal at a different clinic. The greeting area and laser room are clean and welcoming. Everyone was extremely nice, upbeat, and understanding. The procedure was explained in detail in my consultation and the price was clearly stated, which I really appreciated. The laser removal itself is painful, of course, but its not unbearable. The seat is comfortable, the tattoo is iced beforehand (and after), and they blow cold air on the area during the lasering. It is so much less painful than my prior experience. Some of my tattoos are on my lower wrist, which is extremely sensitive, but even that is manageable for the short amount of time it takes. I feel much more comfortable at Removery than I did at my prior clinic, so Im glad to have switched. I definitely recommend coming here for laser removal or just making a consultation appointment to ask any questions you may have.

Ive been going in for treatments for quite some time and it has always been nothing but an enjoyable experience. Very kind and professional staff + great tattoo removal outcome. No scars, no visible traces whatsoever. Be patient as it takes time depending on your body and how it process it + type/color of the ink used in your tattoo, but results will come. I cant say enough great things about Invisible Ink. The whole tattoo removal process scared me, Id be lying if it didnt. I didnt know what to expect, the pain I would feel, etc. I met with Manna today and shortly after had my first treatment. She made me feel at ease about it all, answered all of my questions, laid everything out there for me. Not only did she ease my apprehension immensely, she explained the process in such great detail. They are not a company looking to get your money and get you out - they make sure there is ample time between appointments to allow for proper healing and are not to rush through it to ensure full removal. Removery is a class act! With their easily accessible West End location I am in and out of there in about 20 minutes. There’s plenty of parking and the removal process is a piece of cake. I have been twice so far and am thrilled to say the results are unbelievable! The amount of ink removed is just amazing! The staff is very professional and helpful. This is the place to go for your tattoo removal needs.

I have coming here for years. The name and techs have changed over the years, but I always receive great, attentive service. When I ask, the staff explains the science behind the laser and the depth and anything else I may be curious about. I’ve had 14 sessions now, and am almost at complete removal. All that is left is “freckles” at this point. I was more than 50% faded by my 4-5 session. My case was tricky, hand done with red pigments. They were realistic about my results, and quoted me for full removal with 7 sessions, with a guarantee that I could keep receiving treatments at no charge if I exceeded the quoted number of treatments. Not sure if this guarantee is still available for new guests, so I apologize if I’m getting anyone’s hopes up! I recommend this location for ink removal needs.

Super nice people and very clean establishment.It’s taking some time to get rid of my 30 year old tattoos but it’s working. They said it would take between 10-12 sessions and we seem on track after 7. It a bit expensive and painful but totally worth it if you really want them gone. I would definitely recommend Removery.

Love the new office location (near Plow and Hearth in Short Pump) it is so much easier to get to! Summer was amazing. It’s pretty much painless and they make sure you are as comfortable you can be. Friendly staff, and always great to see them!

I just went in for my consultation and ended up getting Round 1 done today! This place is really great. Prices are based on size of tattoo, and its one flat rate for unlimited sessions. I paid half today and will pay the other half at my second session. My tattoo is about 2x2.5 and it literally took under 40 seconds (and mine is pretty dense, with lots of black ink). I was pleasantly surprised to learn that black is one of the easiest colors to remove. Aftercare is pretty simple. I have a pretty high pain tolerance and mine was on my shoulderblade, so not a very painful area, but I would rate the pain as moderate. Less painful than I expected. Its stinging a bit now afterwards but its totally bearable. I cant wait for round 2!

The girls at the Richmond/Short Pump location are a breath of fresh air. They are very capable, great at putting you at ease and walking you through the whole process and i LOVE that they remember who I am/details of my life between appointments. (And they have great ways to cope with the short, intense laser times).

I started this process back in 2016. I have had 20 or so treatments. I was assured it would be completely removed after 5. My tattoo is still there. It looks more like an ink blob. I paid about $1,400 to just have to go get a cover up. If you want your tattoo gone, it probably wont happen. If you are looking to have it lighten up for a cover up, go for it. All of the reviews say the ladies are nice and yes they are awesome, but my tattoo is still here.

The staff at Invisible Ink Richmond are extremely courteous and professional, and their proficiency is unmatched. The facility itself is extremely clean, and they use state of the art equipment which is clearly maintained in top condition. I have had five out of nine treatments on an elbow tattoo removal completed, and the results are amazing. Much of the ink is totally gone, and the rest is fading rapidly. The best part? There is no scarring or deformation of my skin! They use a progressive approach to tattoo removal that will take time, but leave your skin healthier than any other method. I highly recommend making Invisible Ink Richmond your first and last stop for tattoo removal.

I am pretty upset. I had an appointment for a consultation today at 2pm. I drove 45 minutes to get to this location. Upon my arrival, the door was locked, no sign or note to be seen. The ONLY reason I found out they closed down due to no power was because someone working on the lot right next door informed me that they closed about half an hour ago because the power. I understand there was no power. But there should have been a sign or note left to customers who arent aware of the reason for closure. That was almost 2hrs out of my day for nothing.

Absolutely love the current staff here, the current location, as well as my ongoing tattoo removal results.That said: It’s certainly a process, to remove something once thought to be so permanent. But the length of time it takes to fade away a densely saturated [and pretty new] tattoo is worth it in the long run ...to prevent scarring and to protect your skin.Katt is so friendly and knowledgable, probably my favorite laser tech yet. They have all been sweet, are personable yet professional, and make my experience comfortable every time!I highly recommend them.

This entire experience has been great! Everyone has been super kind, informative, and patient. Every visit is quick and painless (minus the lasers). The staff is very knowledgable and connects with you at each visit. If I had to do this all over again, I would definitely chose this place.

I signed up under the old company because they were local. I went to one tattoo removal session and then the virus came. My treatment was delayed because of it and I have trying to get a refund since MAY!!! Every time I talk to someone, I get told that someone will call me back. Someone did, once, but I couldn’t answer. I called back and I haven’t been able to talk to a manager at all. I am trying to join the military and they are delaying my entry!! I do NOT want to work with a corporate chain which is another reason for the refund request. Needless to say, the unavailability and unprofessionalism are also reasons why. TODAY I called and was told that I would get a call back before 5pm. Can you guess who DIDN’T get a call? That’s right, ME!!

Michael Barber at 9 Tattoo in Roanoke,VA intentionally tried to destroy my leg with a tattoo gun-Stay away from there! However, the girls at Removery have given me back hope that I will someday wear shorts again! They give me confidense that they will not give up even though I probably have the thickest amount of ink they have had to remove. The girls that work here feel like my second family.The facility is always clean and inviting. The removal process hasnt been very painful for me at all. I would say the pain is a 1 or 2 on a scale from 0 to 10. It is It is over with very quickly and they always ask if I need a break, even though I never have. I usually feel like I have a mild sunburn for 2 days after treatment then the area feels completely normal.They always provide after care and answer any questions I may have. I cant say enough positive things about this place!I have provided my current before and after photos and will be sure to update when my removal is complete!
