If I could leave 5 stars I would! This shop is absolutely delightful. From the moment you walk thru the door you are greeted by the Bearded Wonder aka Ryan. He is personable with a capital P and is more than delighted to answer any and all questions you may have. I have had the absolute pleasure of being tattooed by Kevin numerous times. Kevin isn’t just an artist but a true joy to be around. His story times are unmatched, he is witty, talented and the coolest Kevin I know… and I’m not just saying that because he is the only Kevin I know! While in the chair you may also have the pleasure of little visits from other artists admiring your tattoo. BT is by far my favorite and always lets me know how cool my newest tattoo is! I can’t say enough about this shop and travel well over a hour to be tattooed! If you are looking for a great experience with a great group of artists this is the shop for you!

My friends and I traveled to Hot Springs this past weekend for tattoos and our experience at Spa City Ink was incredible. Joshua did a great job on my tattoo, and overall, everyone was very kind and welcoming. I believe my husband’s artist was Timmy and he did an amazing job on his tattoo as well. We will definitely come back for any future tattoos!

Finally got the adhesive bandage off!! I had such a lovely first tattoo experience with Kris, shes very friendly, easy to work with, and quick with what she does, she was also very informative with the following steps and aftercare! Its a comfortable atmosphere for anyone new to getting a tattoo or doing it by themselves. Im very happy with my experience and how everything turned out, Id highly recommend getting a tattoo here!

Hubby and I decided to treat ourselves to a tat. This studio was awesome. Everyone was super nice. Studio was clean. Joshua did our tats. He had a friendly conversation with us both. Joshua was very professional. If we are ever back in Hot Springs, we would love to go back for another tat.

My husband and I came into town to celebrate our wedding anniversary and decided to get tattoos. We felt welcomed the second we walked in. Ryan at the front is amazing and so helpful and accommodating. I got my tattoo by Kevin and I absolutely love it. My husband got his artwork done by Timmy and it looks super fantastic!!! Can’t say enough great things about this tattoo shop, and the artist that work there. We will be coming back to Hot Springs for more tattoos :)

Spur of the moment decision.. googled best tattoo shop in Hot Springs and Spa City Ink popped up. I was a walk in, the guy was super helpful, the business is very clean and my tat artist was awesome (Joshua Pack) Highly recommend! 🤍

Awesome experience every time I have been! Edward had done two pieces for me and I am on the wait for a third piece! He is an amazing artist and I get compliments everywhere I go about his work! Definitely the best place to get a tattoo even if you have to wait a bit! It is totally worth it!

Absolutely nothing bad to say about this place. very welcoming. My artist was Kevin and was very calm and patient. very talented artist. they were all so friendly, i didn’t get the guys name at the counter but was nice and made everything easy. i will be back for probably every tattoo.

Kevin was great! He was patient, kind and accommodating to what I wanted….and I definitely kept switching things up. Would definitely go to him again. Service from others was pretty rough. They seemed very impatient and did not seem like they wanted to be helpful. But, I would go back to get another tattoo from Kevin for sure!

My husband and I got matching tattoos on March 1st. We walked in at 6 pm on a Friday night and they worked us in for 7 pm. Ryan was honest with us about the tattoo design we picked out and he and Kevin adjusted it to make it work for us. Very pleased with the tattoos done by Kevin and the service we received.Edit: I accidentally hit four stars rather than five in my original review. I’ve gotten tattoos here for 8 years and will continue to do so in the years to come. Fantastic atmosphere and service, each artist is extremely talented. Overall I highly recommend Spa City you won’t regret it!

This place has some of the best tattooists in Central Arkansas. Edward is amazing. I started with him about 3 years ago. Love his work and the detail in it. I give him an idea and he bring it to life. Ready to see him again. Everyone is great there seen a lot of work walking around in this town. Highly recommend.

I had sent them a tattoo design. Asked them if they could do it exactly the way it was in the pictures I sent them, They said they could. So I made an appointment. I went to my appointment ready to get my tattoo that I wanted, but when I got there and checked in for my appointment they had a totally different design drawn up that looked nothing like the one I sent them. I hated it. They had over a week to tell me they wouldnt do the design I wanted but instead never said anything until the day I showed up for the appointment. Plus I had to drive 2 hours to my appointment. Im very disappointed. Their a very unprofessional business and I would never recommend them to anyone.

I will start by saying this is the most recommended shop in Hot Springs. I was very excited to get work done here. I am from a larger city with well-known artists and expected the type of care I have received for my 12 other tattoos.I was surprised by a shop with such a good track record to, from the start, have poor customer service. The man at the front desk (maybe owner, maybe just abrasive) came off as an authority figure that wasnt very good at listening, but very good at telling me how things work. He struck me throughout our interactions of someone who wants others to be submissive to him and didnt desire any questions or input. Very confidently abrasive. This vibe can be heard firsthand in their voicemail message and was continuous from the beginning to the end of our interactions. I will get back to why I put vibe in quotations I a bit...After paying my very reasonable upfront booking fee of $80 a week and a half before my appointment, I heard nothing back from them until I called them 2 days before my appointment to be tattooed. This concerned me because I was going to have a cover-up done, and I wanted to see the art going on my body. He also didnt want to answer any questions about pricing.I spoke with the gentleman at the front desk, and he explained that artists dont do the art until the day before or the day of the appointment due to people being flakey... that concerned me due to me paying a booking fee to show that I was indeed serious about my appointment. Pretty standard stuff. I pay the fee, they draw the art, check in beforehand to see if I like it or want changes made.... then they do the work.The front desk secretary informed me that for 16 years (I remember because he said it so many times), this is how things worked at the shop. Clients pay, artists come up with the art the day of the appointment or during the appointment (not standard anywhere Ive been), then the client and the artist agree to do the work. It may have been my concern of measurements not being taken, or standard tracing of the size/shape of where the art was going not being done may have offended him. He informed me that from the pictures taken, the artist can do everything on a tablet the day of. I also had a desire to get art sent to me before my scheduled session, so I had to schedule another appointment to speak with my artist, which is very standard. We rescheduled the tattoo appointment for a week later with an appointment 2 days in advance to check out the art and discuss any ideas or desired changes.He called me to reschedule due to a double booking. No problem. My concern was for the artist and her client before me. He didnt listen, was abrasive again.Today is the day I was sent the art via text and was excited to come in to discuss it with the artist. I was hoping to get a few changes to the art as well as add more to make the work fit with pre-existing art I have. My idea was most likely upgrading the work to a half sleeve in color instead of something minimal.As I walked in for my scheduled time to do so, I was asked if I had my debit card. I asked if my payment went through or if there was something I needed to pay for. The reason he actually wanted the card was to refund me, deny me service at the shop, and cancel my appointment due to bad vibes. I already didnt like how I was treated by him, so I said that I think that decision should be between me and the artist. He said he spoke with her already, and they both decided that due to vibes, they were going to cancel.We professionally made the exchange of the refund happen. I wont be back. I do not recommend this shop due to their very abrasive secretary that seems very entitled. Small town, medium fish energy thinking they are hot shii. Poor communication. If you want to experience the vibe, I got. All you need to do is call their number and reach the voice-mail. He is a problem. Thanks for your time and patience reading this. I know it was a lot, but I thought it would be good to know.

Good work.My original review was me accompanying my son for his tatoo. I had a really good experience during my last visit getting my own work done. Everything is clean and the folks were very nice super relatable people. I love my tatoo and will be going back for more soon!!

Ryan up front was the sweetest! He was helpful with any questions I had and even gave me some water during the session. Kris did my cover up tattoo and it’s absolutely stunning! I really cannot thank them enough! I will definitely be back!

Loved my experience with Spa City. My friend and I were in town for a girls trip and they got us both in at the same time. I saw Marvin for my tattoo and he was amazing! I would love to be tattooed by him again! My friend saw Kris and she had an amazing experience. The building was really clean and the staff was super nice. Would absolutely recommend Spa City!

Went here on my vacation. Just did a simple design on my finger. Two days later already have bad blowout. Plus he went over the same lines like five times. Very awkward experience as well

After reviewing negative comments for any business, i love seeing people praise the people who provide the final product, be that cooks/chefs at a restaurant, or artist at a Tattoo shop. Having not only been a custoner here, I can say without a doubt that this is a quality family business. Now, knowing the owners and most artists personally, i find it hard to value the negative comments made.Hands down, some of if not the best tattooist in the state, i will gladly return as frequently as my wallet allows, and the artists are willing.Thank you, Ryan and Spa City Ink!

Little bit rough start to get what we wanted and where we wanted it the gentle at counter was pretty cool. The tattoo artist was not very personable got better and the end of my tattoo. I was little surprised on the price for our tattoos literally got 2 words each on the arm and were very little and it was 160 dollars we are visiting here from New York so definitely in shock of the price of a 2 letter tattoo. However it was very clean.

Dont listen to the reviews saying the owner isnt friendly, because he very much is! Edward did two tattoos for me, and not only delivered in every aspect, but gave me a VERY fair price! I will never go anywhere else!

Marvin was amazing. Before my appointment I sent him a design I’d saved for a couple years and asked him to use it adding his artistic talent for a tattoo on my calf. Prior to the session I stopped in so he could measure my calf to ensure the proper size. The day of my appointment he had 2 templates prepared picking the best size for the area. I was blown away by the completed tattoo! He exceeded all my expectations with his artistic vision and execution. I will definitely have Marvin do my next tattoo.

The inside is super clean looks great. Just bad customer service skills, most of the staff have a bad attitude depending on who they are talking to. 2/3 of the tattoos Ive gotten here are okay. Personal experience they dont live up to the hype, but they are clean and decently priced.

My tattoo artist was Kevin and he was awesome!! My friend and I were staying in town for the weekend and decided we wanted to get a new tattoo! It was very easy to set up an appointment and the entire staff was very friendly! Very clean and professional environment too! I would 1000% recommend and will be coming back!

Ive gotten over 20 tattoos at Spa City and every time the service is top notch! Very professional and welcoming environment. Most are by Edward, hes amazing and he stays booked up, so expect a wait time... its worth it. Ive also gotten tattoos by Timmy and Kevin and love them as well. I get compliments and questions about my tattoos all the time. I recommend this shop to everyone, and they always become repeat customers. Call and set up an appointment, you wont be disappointed.

The artist are GREAT and super nice and friendly. The guy up front is sooooo rude. Rude enough that I won’t go back. I thought made he was having a bad day so I called and scheduled again this time with my grandpa who is a veteran. Guy was super rude again when we came in. I will can’t stress enough how great the artist are. I drive to Little Rock for my work now because the guy up front has zero customer service skills and acts like an a** when you speak to him. Such a shame too because of how great his artist are. I believe this guy is the owner. Learn how to treat and talk to people!

Me & three other friends came in for tattoos. We were from out of town and nervous because we didn’t know any of the artists or anything about the shop but we couldn’t recommend it more. Our artist Kevin was amazing and worked with us on what we wanted and listened to us for changes. The owner was also there and super helpful explaining prices and everything. Super friendly and fun atmosphere.The owner hooked us up with some Spa City Ink cups! We love our tattoos and they were super reasonably priced. 10/10!

Even though some things may have gotten mixed up, Marvin took care of us and really made our experience enjoyable! He showed up without knowing any details, whom he was working on, or even how long it might take. It didnt matter to him. He was just ready to go. Love this guys work ethic!

Two, over 60 ladies walked from the Arlington all the way to Spa City in hopes of getting tattoos. After our long walk, we find out he is booked 4 weeks out; we accept that and chat for a minute. Ryan, brings us out water, tells us to hold on, asks Kevin if he had time to squeeze in one for Kim before his appointment...he did. These guys were amazing. We had the best conversations and they prepared and completed my friends very first tattoo. Then, as we went to leave, the owner comes out and insists on giving us a ride back to our hotel. Talk about hospitality, unbelievable. They made two (sort of) older women’s trip. Not only does my friend have her tattoo but we have a great story of how we got it. The place and the people there are amazing, i cannot say enough about them accept, their mama’s raised them right. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making our day. The tattoo is AWESOME, as is the owner and the artists working there.

I got my first tattoo by Marvin last October. I was a little nervous, but he made the whole experience great and I felt right at ease. He worked with me to make sure I got exactly what I wanted and I absolutely love it. The whole staff is super friendly. Getting my second one very soon!

Best tattoo shop I’ve been too, Edward has done all of mine and has done an amazing job and always kills it. Ryan has some top notch artist at the facility. If your ever in hot Springs and wanting work done definitely give them a call or if your in town and been wondering where to go look no further.

I was able to get in quick and get EXACTLY the tattoo that I wanted, I worked with Edward but all the other people in the shop where amazing and friendly as well. There isn’t an artist at Spa City Ink, I wouldn’t trust to tattoo me. They are all fabulous! I follow them on fb and instagram and I just love seeing peoples tattoo dreams come to life!! 10/10 recommend Spa City Ink if your in the market for a tattoo!! I have multiple from them with zero complaints!!!! They are very knowledgeable about the locations and if that placement is best for each tattoo! Very grateful I listen to my artist!!!❤️

This is a great tattoo shop! For 10 years now I have trusted this place and their artists for my work. The shop is very clean and they do great work. If it is your first time getting tattooed this place will make you feel very comfortable and right at home from the moment you walk through the door. Whether you are wanting a small nice piece or a full body suit, they have enough artists there to cover just about any style and size you could want. This will always be my favorite tattoo shop.

FANTASTICI was reading reviews, trying to find the perfect place to go, and Spa City Ink sounded great. I drove all the way up from Houston,TX to get my tattoo done here, being a minor I was unable to get tattooed in Texas. I was so pleased with the service and the cleanliness of the facility. I would recommend calling and making an appointment because they do get quite busy. Kevin was my tattoo Artist. He drew exactly what I was wanting. Kevin was sure to check with me on the positioning and size of the tattoo before he made any marks. His work space was very clean and organized. The tattoo stretches from the center of my chest to the tip of my shoulder, he had finished it within a half hour and bandaged it up. I’m absolutely in love with his work!! He informed me on how to keep it clean and moisturized. I recommend Spa City Ink to anyone who is interested and getting a tattoo!!

I’ve gotten 2 tattoos done at Spa City Ink and my husband has gotten several done from them as well, and Spa City Ink is the only place we’ll get tattoos from! Edward is truly an amazing artist who is very well known in this town. Everywhere we go, people are always asking us where we got our tattoos from. If you want beautiful water color, portraits done, black and white, Edward can do it all! 1,000,000% recommend them.

By far the best experience we have ever had! Everyone from scheduling to the tattoo artists were absolutely amazing. The atmosphere was so laid back and they want to be sure you get the tattoo exactly like you want! We did memorial tattoos for my brother and they made it a huge success. I’ve lived in Hot Springs for 10 years. I seen a girl working at a local restaurant with an absolutely beautiful sleeve. I asked who (place/artist) she used. She told me about Spa City Ink and one of their artists, Timmy. I went in with an idea and spoke with him. I gave him complete creativity. He asked me a few questions and told me he’d draw something up and get back with me. A few weeks later, because just walking in isn’t always easy. Timmy called. We set up an appointment and got started. When I got there. There was no stencil. He asked if he could freehand the peace and I agreed. He used pens for tattoo artists and started to draw. It was cool to watch as the work was created. That session with a break for dinner with the guy’s, lasted 11 hours.Over the years I’ve developed friendships with all the guys. From the owner Ryan (his wife is the real boss) to the team of artist’s Timmy, Edward, and Kevin. This is the only place I’ll use locally. (Id like to get some work done by a guy in Vegas) the place is always clean and has a great vibe going.If you’re interested in having a peace done. You owe it to yourself to go by and speak to Ryan. He will team you up with the best artists for the style you’re looking for. (If you don’t have one in mind)

I have a few tattoos from them and I remember getting my traditional Japanese dragon by Timmy and this was my first big piece and he was so nice and thorough and walked me though the process and what to expect. Every time I drive past the building or see my tattoos from them it makes me smile. 10/10 would recommend Spa City Ink.

Very clean and amazing staff. Great work! This was my second time visiting Spa City ink. I got my first tattoo there 5 years ago. I now live in Colorado and purposely waited to get my 2nd tattoo while visiting Hot Springs. Definitely not disappointed with that decision. Frank did an amazing job and was very pleasant to talk to through out the process. Great Job!

Best place ever to get ink. Kris is my artist and she is hands down the best either side of the Mississippi River. Price is right for the quality you get.

I have had my tattoo for less than a year and I am already getting it removed. This was only my second tattoo ever, so it was really upsetting when it came out like this. I am okay with the angel wings, but the letters are awful, especially the “B”. The letter is so much darker and larger than the others. If you look at the “A” you can see the circular part is okay, but the line is extremely dark. I have been to other artists to see if there was anything I could do, but every person told me the only way to make it even would be to bold the other letters as well, which is the last thing I wanted to do. I also don’t understand why the “B” is so much closer to the wings than the “X” is. The B has almost blended into the angel wings it is that close. For months I have worn bracelets to cover my tattoo out of pure embarrassment and being insecure of it. The whole point of a tattoo is to love it and show it off and I have never been able to do that. This tattoo was for my childhood dog that passed away so for me to have to get it removed breaks my heart. Overall, I am extremely disappointed in the way this came out especially after having so many people telling me to go here. A $150 ish tattoo will now cost me around $1K just to get it off my body.

Ive had 5 tattoos done by Edward and Ill still get more! Everyday I get compliments and it makes me proud to show off his work. When you walk in there you dont feel like a customer, you feel like youre just hanging with friends.

This is my favorite tattoo shop. Ive gotten many pieces from different artists there. The professionalism is top notch, the cleanliness is perfect. The artists strive themselves on educating themselves regularly on new techniques, products and form. There are no attitudes here. Very humble people. They give back to the community multiple times a year with donations. These people have become really good friends and Im proud to showcase their work.

Having a tattoo shop with no body piercings seems wrong..

I had been wanting a tattoo of my kids names on me for the longest time . I was vacationing with my boyfriend for my birthday and decided to finally get it done . I read reviews of this shop and I decided to check them out . I was very happy with them . Customer service was Excellent and I have no complaints. The artist had drawn my tat just liked I envisioned and the artist was very quick and very talented. I will definitely visit them again when I come back to town .

Tim worked on me he did a good job with only a little information giving to him I would of liked a bit more time and effort put into my work but for the most part he did a good job I would recommend him for any work your looking to get doen thank you spa city ink have a marry Christmas

Got in on a last minute appointment due to a cancellation with Edward while we were on vacation! Gave me exactly what I wanted, played great music, and was not extremely heavy handed. Love Spa City Ink and how the love and recognize our military and our veterans. Edward is the man we see for our tattoos. Myself, my husband, my son, my daughters, son-in-law and daughter-in-law have all been inked by Edward. And. Everyone we have met or talked to while being there have always been nice and respectful.

I have been going to this tattoo studio since they opened. The artists are all extremely talented/friendly/professional people who listen to your ideas and guide you in the right direction so that you walk with the highest quality piece of art possible and ensure a great experience . The shop is always extremely clean and your health and safety is top priority. The shop is always doing charity work and hosting fundraisers for the community which makes doing business with them even more enjoyable. I highly recommend stopping by and talking with the owner or the artist about your next tattoo and give them a try, you will not be disappointed!

I always get my tattoos at Spa City ink. Edward is the one who I always go to and he is the absolute best! He always works with me on a budget friendly tattoo and is so efficient. Will never go anywhere else!

We didnt get to use them because they were very busy and didnt have any openings. They took my number and called me when they had an opening but we werent able to go back. Very professional. A guy came in that smelled horribly of weed and was super high. They did not tolerate it and refused to call him back. True signs of a very high class establishment. Only downside was a bit pricey for a very small couples tattoo. A 17 letter short saying about 3 inches long was going to be $70 each for me and my wife. I have had several tattoos and that was on the high side in my opinion for about 15-20 mins worth of very simple work that we drew and created ourselves. Otherwise, I would go back. May be excellent for larger work, we didnt get a chance to find out.

I have works from Edward and Timmy that have healed beautifully. Edward has done several, including my hand and it’s flawless. The piece Tim did covers my shin and he drew it freehand! Ryan has always treated me well and is very honest and knowledgeable about the industry.

Hands down the best tattoo shop around! Timmy has done amazing work on me he definitely has a gift! All the guys are awesome definitely recommend them anytime I can! Oh and Ryan is awesome to!

Awesome service. My wife and I came in as walkins on a Friday. Fortunately, they had an opening and we were treated with courtesy and professionalism. It was bit pricey, but I would think it’s competitive business. Shoutout to Kevin. Great job, man!

My wife and I have been going to this shop for 10 years. 4 of my 5 kids ( over 18 years old of course) have also had tattoos done here. They are always willing to help you with your ideas, especially since I am not an artist. Timmy Hampton is my artist and have had work done by others such as Kevin and Edward and they always take thier time making sure to give me what I want. I have been getting tats since 1995 and this is the only shop I have seen that is clean and takes time going over what you want, also how to take care of you tat work afterwards. Pricing is dead on. I have always heard a cheap tat is not good and and a good tat is not cheap. Ryan the owner is always there and helps get you to the right artist depending on what you want most owners will just let the workers run everything and will just stand around ignoring you. Check them out for you next tat. Remember its there forever so I only want the best.

The guy at the front desk is a stand up guy. Probably one of the nicest individuals I have ever met in this world. As I’m sitting there waiting on my artist he offered me a shoulder rub and a stool to rest my feet on because he said he could tell I had a long day of standing on me feet. Their tattoo artists are excellent. The pricing is comparable to a little higher than other tattoo parlors. Parking is an issue so you may need to park in another businesses parking lot.

I have gotten several tattoos from Spa City Ink and every tattoo has been of excellent quality. There staff can handle any kind of tattoo no matter the size or colors you want . Ryan takes alot of pride in his business and how he runs it and employees only the best and talented artists. They run a very very clean, sanitary and friendly shop. These guys are literally the best hands down in Hot Springs Ar. No other shop around can compare to their quality and artsmanship.

Me and the girlfriend decided to get tattoos. Mine was super simple. Took about 10 minutes. Hers was a lot more extensive. It took a couple of hours to finish. They were very accommodating and super helpful. Thank you to everyone of the guys there. Great Job 👍

I went to spa city ink for my first tattoo back in 2018! kevin did my tattoo, and to this day i still am absolutely in LOVE with it!! spa city ink, takes care of their people and know how to make sure you get what you want!!!

Wasnt too impressed. A friend of mine and I got matching tattoos and was told if we needed touch ups after a month or so to give him a call. I called and sent a pic because it looks like an old, faded tattoo...broken lines and some letters are lighter than others. Only time I can come is on the weekend when my husband isnt at work and can be with our special needs son. They said they were booked out for months to come. Dont understand...its only 8 letters. Will not be back.

Never got a tattoo because the guy at the front was incredibly rude. Left before even getting it because I felt completely demeaned. I never even leave bad reviews but this one felt necessary. Hopefully the tattoo artist isn’t affected by this, because I’m sure he’s good—just not the customer service.

Had this flag done by Edward at spa city it was my first piece I had done and had a great experience, was very conversational and never a awkward moment sat for 2 hours and love this piece very good experience.

Got turned away at 830. They close at 10. Acted smug while saying he was busy. But everybody there was sitting in the lobby. Wont spend my money there. It would be nice if you didnt either.

Employees are rude and it seems like the only thing they are thinking about is when their next smoke break is. Absolutely no help and to be honest I dont think they have a single artist in the place.
