Definitely deserved a 5 ⭐️ all the staff was great. Love my new tattoos. They do walk ins and your wait can depend on several factors. So schedule an appointment. I only waited for a hour. Highly recommend if you’re wanting a tattoo. One artist here has 37 years experience. They usually have 5 tattoo artists working at the same time. I will be back 🇺🇸 Tre the owner is awesome ! Tre is the owners name and the rest of his crew names are JJ, Johnny, Jeff, and Will. Hundreds years of Tattoo experience at this place 🔥

My husband and I are in Hot Springs for Labor Day weekend and we decided to get a tattoo! Underground Ink came highly recommended! We walked in and was serviced with a smile! We showed Tre a picture and he put a twist on it! He evened covered an old faded tattoo I had. He was awesome and fast! Thank you again! We will be back!

Red beards tattoo shop closed after like a 50 year run and all the best artists ended up at underground ink. Jeff has been my guy for all my arm art and is crazy talented. Eventho, my entire sleeve is religious themed and is not what he normally does he has done some incredible work that gets complements from every walk of life. Reasonable rates but bring cash or be prepared to drive to an ATM nearby.

They usually close at 6. 3 of us got there at 5:45. they stayed open for us. it was almost 6am by the time we were finished. fun people here. Great experience. thanks, guys!!!

The previous artist that did all my work hadnt responded to my text in a yearI decided it was time to move on. My hubs & I walked in Underground on a Friday night & I felt an instant connection/vibe with Tre. I knew his mother YEARS ago & felt I was meant to walk in his shop. We hit it off immediately! He did three pieces on me that were PERFECT! J.J. did two on my hubs that he loved! The prices were great, the atmosphere was chill and we had a great time! I have found my new artist! Thanks, Tre! Tre did amazing work, and really provided a great experience. I was here on vacation with my mom and friend, we all wanted to get tattoos, and randomly ended up at underground ink. We could not have been more pleased. The shop was super clean, great atmosphere, Tre was so patient, a great artist, and we had a blast! Would 100% recommend. My strawberry turned out perfect, better than I could have expected. Sorry for the not so great picture, this is day 3 of healing. So in love!

Went there since Google said they were open on Sunday... turns out they are actually closed but one of the artist just happened to be there and my wife got the tattoo she was wanting.

Huge shout out to Sam, who has done three beautiful pieces on me. Shes one of the few artists Ill happily go to and Ive sought her out specifically. She takes her time, she doesnt just hammer ink in and call it a day. She checks in, makes sure youre okay through the whole process. She tattooed me during two of the hardest times in my life and honestly, she made those times 100× easier to cope with. Her original work is absolutely amazing, her demeanor, the way she carries herself, she is down to earth and professional in the same breathe. 10/10 recommended Sam for quality work from an artist that genuinelycares, especially if life has knocked you down. The art she creates for your unique wants is amazing.

I hadnt had a tattoo done in 20 years and was nervous. This place was so welcoming and the people were freaking awesome, which helped alot with the nervousness. The artist was extremely helpful and came up with something that I was pleased with. I will be back and will recommend them to anyone! Thank you for an awesome experience!

I had been wanting a large thigh piece for a while & I just had my first appointment with Sam. I am blown away. My experience was AWESOME. Sam was very accommodating & obviously takes pride in her craft. It shows in the meticulous line work & sticker like quality of the piece. I am SO HAPPY with my experience. I will defiantly be back to UnderGround Ink & I will defiantly be back to see Sam!

My wife an I were in the Hot Springs area on some well deserved time off when we decided to get a couple of tattoos. after asking around a bit, several people referred us to UnderGround Ink so we decide to check it out. We show up at around 6:45 knowing they close in a couple of hours but interested in seeing if anyone would be able to do a matching tattoo of my wife and I to Help us commemorate our time together.Bring on Sam. Sam was a lovely, upbeat and bubbly artist who seemed excited to work with us. After telling her our idea she then proceeds to sell us on an even nicer, larger and more colorful design (that she created) then we originally went in with. she told us a price that we thought was really fair and also said she would do us both so the tattoos would match.My wife goes first and all seems to be going well. the tattoo is taking a little longer then initially expected but moving along none the less. About halfway through my wifes ink Sam realizes that it is almost 9 now and starts complaining that she has a 2 hour drive home. She then starts talking to other artists about weather or not they would take me and do the same tattoo. no other artist really liked the idea or wanted to do it.My wife and I were not thrilled as the whole point was to have the same artist for both of us so the work would match. I even offer Sam more money if she will stay and complete my tattoo as she originally( and multiple times)stated she would.Skip ahead... as she is finishing my wives work ,she has found an artist named J.J. to reluctantly take me and complete what she had started. My wife reluctantly paid Sam for the work she had done and she left.I am in J.J.s chair for about 10 minutes. J.J Has started lining out the design that Sam had created and tattooed on my wife (the whole time critiquing Sams design and work.My wife and I quickly realize that J.J.s lines are so much cleaner. his table side manner was much more pleasurable and he was just a better artist over all.Before my work is even done (which J.J. did an absolute beautiful job with) my wife was practically begging J.J. to please fix her tattoo to make it look more like mine. J.J. cautioned and advised against going over the fresh work but we insisted as what was on her arm and mine both looked totally different.Sams lines were thin and light, the ink was barley in the skin and the coloring was rushed and offered no depth or meaning to the art work. The whole thing just looked very rushed and amateurish.By this time the studio had closed for the night but J.J. decided to stick around with us and complete/repair the work that had been done.After another excruciating hour and a half for my wife while he proceeded to redo the work Sam had attempted, we finally had the matching tattoos we wanted and they both looked great. J.J. had done Sams art better the her.In a nutshell, Underground Ink was a great little studio. Sam was nice enough in the beginning but didnt hang for the long haul like she had said she would and her work was cheap and amateur. J.J. however is a highly professional, and talented artist who I would absolutely hire again for my next tattoo session.Go in, see J.J and get an amazing tattoo or have him fix the one you got from Sam.

I had a tattoo that I wanted to cover up and looked at several different shops in Saline county that didnt offer walk-ins. Thats when I called UnderGroundInc, because no one else made themselves available or seemed to want the money. I was very welcomed as a client, as I didnt have an appointment and the wait time was less than an hour. I highly recommend this shop and theyre professional. Will really did a fantastic peice of artwork on a horrendous tattoo that I was displeased with and wanted to cover up. If youre not able to get your tattoo at your own time or spontaneousness, please, take my word for it that this is your shop to call. This isnt a networking type review, just a walk-in girl whos met their team 👍go for it!!!

Tre was the most amazing person ever. He gave me the tattoo I ask for and kept us laughing the whole time. VERY sanitary, never rushed through it even after closing time. appreciate the amazing tattoo and the friendly atmosphere!!

Contacted shop about tattooing 5 people. Not only did he take on the challenge, he went above and beyond by completing 9 total tats for us. He changed his music to what we would like, was polite and professional. Would definitely recommend him to do your next ink. Next time you’re in Hot Springs, stop by, he only takes walk ins! I came in to get some tattoos brightened up and the artist messed one up. Ill never be back! When I messaged the guy I believe is the owner he acted like it wasnt that big of a deal and it was very hard to get a response from him as well. It doesnt suprise me though from reading how he replied to the negative reviews on here.

He does incredible work and squeezed me in before closing. However this was the most painful tattoo I have ever experienced Extremely heavy handed. Did not sanitize my skin before tattooing. Also did not wrap it after or provide aftercare instructions.

He has done two of my tattoos he cleans and shaves before applying anything is very good I highly recommend coming. Probably the chillest artist I’ve met keeps a conversation with everyone the best at multitasking.

I got the serenity prayer on my thigh. From the moment I walked in it was good conversation. He gave suggestions and I went with them. It took a little over an hour . A nice environment as well!
