I’ve been getting tattooed for about 10 years now and these are by far the best American traditional artists I’ve ever been around. Coincidentally, I’ve been following Homer’s work for 10+ years as well. I always wanted to get tattooed by him, but never really looked into where he was. I moved to houston 3 years ago and to my surprise - he tattoos at 713 Tattoo! I went in and got tattooed by him yesterday and without sounding too fanatic, it was exactly what I expected! He’s a great guy and his work speaks for itself. I’d tell anyone to book with him if they’re looking for great artwork that they wear for the rest of their lives. It was an honor!

713 is my favorite tattoo shop and Reeda Martin is my very favorite tattoo artist I will always go to her for quality work and conversation. She always makes me feel so comfortable and excited about her work. Every tattoo she has done for me has been perfect. Also Homer and Matt have both done tattoos for my husband and his always turn out incredibly clean and beautiful. Pricing is reasonable and the shop is always in great shape and everyone there is welcoming.

Mike is the best! We stopped in for matching tattoos and Mike was super helpful & efficient. This was the first tattoo for 2 people in our group and he made sure they felt comfortable and explained everything thoroughly. He talked to us about size and placement to make sure we got a quality tattoo. Very satisfied and happy with how they came out and the overall experience.

I had an impromptu urge to celebrate Friday the 13th with tattoos and landed at 713 with my mom and husband. They had several flash design options to choose from! Even though they were busy, the front desk people were friendly and organized. The artists were nice and quick with their work. We definitely see ourselves going back! Y’all rock!

This was my first time hearing about 713 since I heard about them through the APP website and Karen did a wonderful job with my daith piercing! She was very sweet and comforting which made the experience even better. Even though there was a bit of a wait, I still enjoyed my visit! The girl at the front desk took her time with each customer and was patient even with a shop full of people. They also have a great jewelry selection! Definitely coming back again.

I’ve had my earlobes pierced 5 times, all at different ages but the last I tried was 9 years ago. Each time they got horribly infected within 1.5 weeks no matter how careful I was or how closely I followed the aftercare directions. I decided I wanted to try one more time here at 713. Harley, my piercer, was incredibly kind and professional, and it didn’t hurt at all. Coli helped me choose my earrings and was very friendly and helpful. The vibes were wonderful. I’ve now had them in for 4 weeks, and I haven’t had a single moment where I had any pain, irritation, swelling, redness, crusties, nothing at all. They look and feel perfect, and I’m elated!! I had the best experience here and will definitely be back when I’m ready for my next piercings. Not to mention each jewelry piece they carry is absolutely stunning, the most gorgeous and high quality earrings I’ve ever seen. I’d recommend 713 any day.

This shop is amazing! My sister & I came into town and scheduled a last minute tattoo appointment with Homer, the owner. He was incredibly kind & responsive, drew our tattoo perfectly based on our ideas & references, and executed it beautifully. All employees of the staff were fun & professional, and the shop itself was very clean. I will absolutely be coming back if I’m in Houston again!

I heard about 713 on the Association of Professional Piercers website and I was really happy with my experience.I got my nostril and septum pierced. Harley was quick, professional, and friendly, and this hurt a lot less than last time I got my nostril pierced at a different piercer! He was able to flip the septum up so I could conceal it for work, as I came on my lunch break. For both, it was $150. I will definitely be coming back for any other piercings I will get in the future and I will recommend this place to everyone.

Just stopped in as a walk-in for a double brow piercing, and although there were a couple people ahead of me, the wait time was short. The lady at the counter and the piercer, Cody, were awesome!! They have such sweet smiles and personalities, are easy to talk to, and overall just made me so comfortable. Cody took his time and did such a great job. I’m moving away to Georgia in a month, otherwise I’d definitely be back! I would and will recommend them to everyone in Houston!

Beautiful shop! everyone here is so nice and professional from my experience. the lady at the counter is really sweet and has really comforting energy which helped me feel better because i was so nervous due to it being my first piercing ever and my social anxiety. my only issue is that i’m scared my septum was pierced too high and it seems the piercer did it very quickly with no prep but that could also be a good thing.

I visited to ask about getting an industrial bar piercing for another day. I was informed that due to the shape of my ear, it wouldnt heal properly. I appreciate the honesty, as many would have simply taken my money. The staff were incredibly professional and knowledgeable. Ill definitely return for future piercings.

713 is the best tattoo shop ever! I drive 2 and a half hours to get tattooed because the place is just that good! The staff are friendly, and the shop is always clean and beautifully decorated. I always get tattooed by Matt, who is very friendly and an amazing artist. He is very good at bringing your vision to life and making a beautiful piece of art. The owner of the shop Homer, is very kind and welcoming. I will never go anywhere else!

Went today and got two lip piercings. Koly (I’m sorry I’m not sure if that’s how it spells) was super sweet and talked me through the picking jewelry process and was very helpful :) Harley was my piercer and honestly it was the best experience I could have had. They were genuinely lovely and made it as painless as possible!! Will definitely be coming again for my next ones :)

I got an eyebrow piercing here and they did well, but I would not recommend coming here if you’re having any problems after. The end of the jewelry popped out of the bar and all I ever did near the piecing was aftercare, but one of the piercers kept on yelling at me that I need to “stop messing with it” (but with language. I really Don’t feel comfortable coming back though they are good.

I went here about a month ago to have my Monroe pierced. The man that did my piercing was sweet and did a seamless job. I didn’t feel a thing. They put a very reasonable size post in for my healing and I didn’t come back until four weeks later. When I came back for my downsize, there was a different woman there. She asked me if I knew the post size they pierced me with and I told her I wasn’t sure. She switched out my post and it was pretty snug. Mind you I got the same piercing here two years ago and without much knowledge after three months it became embedded. So when I left the shop, I had a pretty uncanny feeling that the same thing was going to happen again. Just this past Thursday I went to a shop closer to my home because I could see the piercing digging into my lip from the front now making a ring around the jewelry. He told me it was becoming embedded and that he would switch out the post for me. He asked me the size of the post and I told him that it was 5/16. He said that should be about 8 mm which isn’t too unreasonable after it healed. But when he switched out my post and then measured the original post I got from 713 it was really 6mm. He said that that was too small for my lip at this time of the healing process. He said I may be able to get away with it after my piercing has healed, but it still can be a little too snug. Overall, this place has good technique when piercing and their jewelry is very high-grade, but their knowledge for sizing down jewelry and assessing healing time is a little below par for me.

Very impressive.I came here to gift my wife with a piercing and since we are still fairly new to the area we had nothing to go on other than positive reviews. I’m happy to report those reviews did not disappoint. The whole experience was thoroughly professional and gave us reason to come back as we look into further tattoo applications. The spaces were clean, the equipment sanitized, the piercing agent was so very helpful in answering questions for a first time piercer and made the experience very easy and enjoyable. The person working the desk did a great job ensuring my wife walked away feeling confident with after care and provided helpful tips and options to someone who needed help firming up details on what she wanted. Thank you both for treating my wife so well, we will be back.The only item I would prepare people for is parking is extremely limited and is off of an extremely busy street, so be careful as you go in and out of the parking apron.

713 is such a great place to go get a tattoo. I’ve been getting tattooed by Matt B. for several years now, and it’s a great experience every time. He made my first tattoo and went out of his way to make sure that I was comfortable throughout the process and fully informed on aftercare. I have custom pieces and flash from Matt, and everything always turns out looking perfect. The customer service is great here, too. This is my go-to spot for tattoos in Houston!

Ive been getting pierced for over 8 years and I got a nostril piercing by Harley and it was one of the best piercings ive ever gotten, not only was the jewelry selection impeccable but he made me feel so safe and comfortable and helped my partner with a troubled industrial and the front desk girl Coli was wonderful to talk too.

This review comes from 2 actual visits. The first was quick and sweet, just had to get the ball on my septum put back on. At the time there was no wait, I was able to see the piercer and he knocked it out no problem. Everything was extremely sterile and he was polite and professional, it was during the afternoon before 5. I actually tried to give him some cash but he politely refused. My second visit was yesterday evening. This time there was wait but the staff handled every with patience and charm. The young lady behind the desk with glass was nice and gave everyone the pricing for jewelry as they asked while the other handled booking ppl in as they arrived. Everything was organized and everyone is knowledgeable in their craft. The Italian woman that replaced my septum was fun and she made me laugh. I like how comfortable they make you feel. She gave my septum ring one glance and knew its size, I sure as hell can’t do that! She got it changed swiftly and I barely felt it. There was a little discrepancy at the end, which I take blame for because I was being indecisive but it was handled with professionalism and I will continue to get my tattoos and piercings here while I remain in Houston.

I went in on Saturday night at around 10PM and they were fully staffed and ready for whatever I needed. The front desk helped me get the font just right for what I was wanting and didn’t have to wait longer than 15 minutes before I started to get worked on. The waiting area was very eclectic and lots of things to browse and look at while you waited. Everything also looked very clean.I worked with Homer, who was super nice and just who I needed while getting this remembrance tattoo.He finished in about 10-15 minutes and it was perfect.The minimum cost for any tattoo there is $100, regardless of size and time, which I feel like is an industry standard now. Mine was $120.Photo attached is right after it was finished. Can’t wait to see it healed. I would definitely come back here and work with Homer again.

Megan in piercing took really great care of me. She has years of experience, patient, great sense of humor, knows how to put you at ease and has a gentle touch. They have an amazing selection of jewelry. Will be coming back.

I got an ear piercing and swapped an old one out. Such a clean and friendly environment. They were quick and efficient. I highly recommend anyone considering going here to go ahead and do it. They have a ton of options for jewelry, about 80% of them start at 80, plus 50 for the piercing but I will 100% be coming back to get more. I like dainty small jewelry and took a picture of these two panels (of at least 20) and the modern wood crescents are like the size of pupil or middle size. Perfect if you ask me. I’m almost certain you will find something you like!! They also have real diamond pieces starting around 160-180 and up so a fair price!!! I replaced my top helix and got the bottom helix there. Super quick!

Meagan is an AMAZING PIERCER. REQUEST HER FOR YOUR PIERCINGS!!! Extremely professional, kind, sanitary, and super sweet. I’m such a baby when it comes to pain but she walked me through the steps as she did them and it really calmed me down a lot. I’ve been to several shops for piercings and hands down Meagan is the best. She is very knowledgeable on sanitary procedures and guidelines I felt very safe knowing my piercing was going to be done safely and correctly after seeing her very thorough sanitation steps.

Mar. 2023 wife and I got 1/2 head lion tattoos on our calves. Prior to getting them we went in to make sure they could do what we asked and the price. Took pictures of exactly what we wanted. Was told by Mike that yes, he could do them for about $400 each.Set up appointments. I got mine done first. At first, it looked good. But after healing it was not good at all. He took the liberty of adding way, way more black to the mane and shading to the face than what was in the image I showed him.Since that time Ive contacted 3 other highly recommended artists to see if it could be fixed. None can do it due to the heavy amount of black Mike used.When I show you an image of what I want then that is What I Want, not your interpretation of it.Extremely disappointed to have this effed up tatt for the rest of my life.The image included is what my final looks like (Left) compared to what it was supposed to look like.

Harley and Meagan are rock stars, and the entire staff upstairs are friendly and professional. Their services are quick and well priced. I couldn’t recommend them more highly. The entire place is clean, lively, well decorated, and comfortable. A great location for a first timer or a long timer.

I recently visited 713 Tattoo Parlor with two friends, and I was extremely disappointed with my experience. Upon entering, I was directed to go upstairs where a woman would assist me. When I got upstairs, it was quite busy, and there was no clear indication of a check-in area or how to get on a list to be seen.After standing around for a while looking at jewelry while someone else was having a long conversation with the woman working, the woman told us to go sit in another room. We sat for around 10 minutes before deciding to ask the woman in the other room how long she anticipates the wait for a piercing being.I entered the room where she was working, and she was still talking to the same person as before. Before I could even say anything, she immediately saw me, pointed to the other room, and directed me to go take a seat again. I quickly said I just wanted to ask about the wait. She then responded very rudely and in a patronizing tone by motioning to the other people in the room and saying “yes… there are other people waiting here.” I tried to clarify that I was asking *how long* she thought the wait might be, to which she looks genuinely upset with me and said she couldn’t tell me right now because she’s helping other people.A simple Ill be right with you would have sufficed, but instead, she made me feel like I was an inconvenience and that everyone else was more important.The woman who assisted me had black hair, lots of piercings, and forehead subdermal implants. Her appearance was distinctive, but unfortunately, her attitude was equally memorable for all the wrong reasons.Due to her rudeness, my friends and I decided to leave immediately. The last thing we wanted was to be helped by someone with such a terrible attitude. I do not recommend 713 Tattoo Parlor based on this experience.

I went to get a really painful piercing removed and Megan helped me out so fast. A really quick and painless removal with no charge as well. You can really tell she loves her job and is passionate about helping people.

Ive had a fantastic experience working with 713! Homer Saenz has made a point to make each time I go not only a relaxing and professional experience, but memorable and enjoyable as well. I walked in months ago with aspirations of getting one tattoo and have felt so at home, cant see myself stopping at 10. Staff has always been gracious and the shop is extremely reasonable on prices. I cant imagine getting tatted anywhere else.

Took my daughter to have a 2nd piercing in each earlobe, cant say enough good things about the staff. They were thorough in checking ID and parent permissions (take your minors birth cert!)Megan was our piercer, she took her time marking the spots for piercing and made sure my daughter was happy with them. Talked her through each step of the process. Great experience. Would definitely go back

Izzy and Harley were both so great!I’d gotten my nipples pierced in pearland a couple of years ago and one ended up falling out. On a whim I came here to get it re pierced and tbh I was extremely nervous. Harley did a great job helping me feel calm and safe. Hardly any pain at all, I was more scared than anything lol. 10/10 would recommend. Would definitely come to Harley and 713 again for any other piercings! Thanks Harley and Izzy!!

This place has been my go to ear piercing spot for years (I’ve gotten 4 lobe, 1 tragus, and most recently 1 helix) and I highly recommend it. They have a great selection of gold jewelry (gold-gold, not just plated or gold colored) and I think the prices are reasonable. Sometimes it gets pretty busy like on Fridays or Saturdays but honestly that’s not a big deal, there are so many shiny things to look at while you wait haha. I recommend any of the piercers here :)

It was time to refresh and upgrade the good old piercings. Very professional staff. No wait. Extremely hygienic. And pain free as it was just a jewelry purchase and installation (insertion? Shoved them in?) lol. I kid I kid. I was in and out in about 15 minutes. Pricing extremely reasonable. Highly recommended for the piercing part of the shop. Thank you!

Got matching tattoos with my partner by Reeda in October and cannot recommend her enough. This wasn’t my first time getting tattooed by her so I knew it was going to be special but getting to see her in her home shop & element was extra nice! The shop was so busy but she took the time to draw something we were both psyched on, made us feel super comfortable in her adorable room, and the process couldn’t have been more comfortable, fast, or more special. Go get tattooed by Reeda! She is the most loving and warm person & makes the tattoo process a cake walk!

Really professional establishment with no wait at all got done real quick. Snake bites were $130 depending on the jewelry you pick out definitely worth it. Staff is really friendly as well.

I went in to get my ear lobes re-pierced a little over a week ago. I had them pierced as a tween/teen at Claires and they gave me trouble a lot over the 15-20 or so years I wore earrings. Frequent irritation or infection, pain, bleeding, plus they were crooked. I stopped wearing earrings a few years ago and let them close.Britt put four new holes in my lobes, two in each ear. He was fantastic, careful, clean, and I didnt feel a thing. Care instructions were very detailed and clear. Apparently that is something else mall piercing gun places get wrong too - literally everything he told me to do to care for my new piercings is the opposite of what I was told as a kid.There is a pretty good variety of jewelry choices. It wasnt inexpensive, at least not what I chose for my ears, because I wanted it to look pretty since I cant change it for the next several months, and because I wanted high quality since my ears have been so prone to irritation and sensitivity in the past. It was definitely worth every penny for me. Its been a little over a week and I have had virtually no pain, no noticeable swelling.I left feeling really confident about the quality of the piercings and the sterility of the instruments and jewelry. I saw them come out of the autoclave. They charge per piercing and per piece of jewelry and there are lower cost jewelry options if youre on a tighter budget. Prices are very reasonable, and the skill, cleanliness, and professionalism are worth paying for. If youre not getting four holes done at once and buying the highest quality jewelry they carry, it wont break the bank. I will definitely be going back for additional piercings, as well as tattoos.6/28/22 I have also been tattooed by Mike. Its a cover-up of a 20-year-old tattoo that wasnt done all that well in the first place (it was crooked) and has faded and blurred with time and weight gain. We did the black outline and shading today, and Ill be going back for color in about three weeks. Im very happy with the way it is turning out.10/18/22 I totally forgot to post a picture of the finished tattoo! I got it done in early August of this year. Its beautiful and Im thrilled!

Went here on impulse to get my friend a septum piercing! piercings are done upstairs, everywhere you look theres photographs of tattoo works, its all very pleasing to the eye. there was about an hour wait as there only seemed to be one piercer to be scheduled but they were very knowledgeable in what they were doing and also very excited to get their job done! i believe she paid $70 for her septum piercing, but she totally loves it so i think it was worth it. i would definitely recommend going, (i know i will be back to get something for myself) everyone seems to know and love what theyre doing. :-)

Me and my friend got our noses pierced by harley! He was super thorough and kind, and the piercings came out amazing. I wasn’t sure what to expect as this was my first time getting professionally pierced (I have a long history with Claire’s…) and the service went above and beyond what I expected! Thank you to the staff at 713 who made us feel comfortable and taken care of :D

The first steps into the building are already mind blowing. You’re immediately welcomed in and are exposed to all the amazing artwork and designs on the walls. Everyone is super patient and very friendly. Homer did my tattoo and made the process really easy, I love my tattoo and was exactly everything I wanted. 10/10 recommend and will be coming back for more of my pieces later✨

I got tattooed by Reeda Martin here and had an excellent experience. The shop is clean and professional, and the employees clearly care about the place they work at, and care about each other. Reeda was SO nice, and so much fun to get tattooed by. She absolutely nailed what I wanted, and got it done efficiently. We had a good chat too, she’s funny and has such positive energy. It’s fully healed now and looks perfect. I’ll definitely be going back and getting tattooed by Reeda next time I’m in town!

I took my daughter here for her second ear piercing. Harley was great. She felt comfortable immediately and he answered all of her questions. Harley genuinely wants everyone to have a great experience. And, he wants what’s best - whether it be advising someone to wait another two months to get another piercing or handing someone a mask. My daughter’s comment was “he really loves what he does.”

Extremely friendly, very professional and knowledgeable. An incredible selection of jewlery. I was in the City for the weekend for a wedding and they took my walk in got me in and out very quickly. Brought my daughter to get her first piercing here on 10/11/2021. The whole experience was awesome, the whole crew are so chill and friendly. The vibe was perfect for it being my daughters first time and she was nervous. Our piercer was Karen, she was helpful and knowledgeable on the piercing my daughter got. She ended up getting the Conch piercing. I actually got a new stud for my nose piercing as well here and she took care of it for me also. Highly recommend Karen and her crew for anyone that wants to get piercings done in a shop where they really care for placement of the piercing, sanitizing and of course youre overall experience being the best one in their care. I am in AWE, yes, for the Entire Crew - from entering downstairs to upstairs and pennies for my thoughts event - I was treated like an 80 year old Queen turned to the young Princess, because of your entire staff. I had a nostril piercing done in my hometown last year, and due to a medical procedure, had to remove it before it healed. Today, I went to 713 (2 hours away) to get it redone. 300% an amazing experience. Tons of jewelry to choose from, amazing staff, quick, and very little discomfort. I would drive this distance any time for a piercing. The care guide given is incredibly helpful too. Professionalism, service, knowledge are hands down offered here. 10/10

By far the best piercing experience I’ve ever had! I got two piercings on my flat and one on my helix. Meagan did an incredible job! She spent a lot of time with me to ensure it was exactly the way I wanted it, from the placement to the jewelry. Highly recommend!

Went and got my first tattoo here. Homer did an incredible job! He provided me with the perfect experience of getting my first tattoo. Been hesitant to trust someone with permanently marking my body, but Homers clean lines and 26 years of experience made me comfortable. Will be back here to work on some sleeve ideas!

I love my tattoo so much!! The price was good, the attention to detail was great, and they even saw me the same day I came in! The place was obviously kept very clean and the artist, Jake, definitely seemed like he knew what he was doing. Its also in a great part of town so if you walk in on a busy Saturday like I did, you can just take a walk down the street and check out all the little shops around them for a while.Also my last tattoo was years ago and didnt have that second skin saran wrap looking bandage, but they had that here and its amazing?? I left it on for 48 hrs and its been 4 days total now and I cant even notice any scabbing. Im following their aftercare instructions and Ill continue to do so, but it lowkey already looks healed. I get so happy every time i look at it

Love love love this place! I was nervous to get my septum piercing and put it off for a long time but I had the most painless piercing at this place! Harley was so nice and calm and which helped me calm down but the piercing itself was absolutely painless! 0 out of 10 was the pain I felt. My earlobes piercing that I had done when I was younger hurt more and took forever to heal. But my septum felt healed after just a week! Its two weeks later and I have had no complications or pain whatsoever. Definitely recommend you get your next piercing from Harley, I know I will.

Got my ear lobes double pierced after years of saying I wanted to do it. Harley did a great job, was calm, professional, very little pain and he was quick. There was a little mix up re: pricing of the earrings I chose (the lady in the front told me the price and I assumed it was for the pair… it was for a single earring). I think it was her first day, and I don’t fault her for it… but I would always be sure to include “this price is for one earring, not for a pair” because not everyone is familiar with how things work in a piercing/tattoo parlor. Regardless, it was a great experience and hopefully my holes heal quickly and without an issues. Thanks, Harley!

Harley was FABULOUS!! He WELCOMED us like he was SURELY expecting us! With a Youre here!! And a smile. Had me like Huh! Me? I didnt have an appointment. He was like I know! He was very welcoming! And had a steady and good hand!! I got 4 piercings. 2 more holes added to my ear lobes. As I only had ONE. LOL. The girl at the front seemed as if she didnt want to be there. She seemed very cold. Or maybe I just felt that cause my friend and I didnt look the way that maybe SHE thought we should have. When asking about jewelry, she was very matter of fact with NO emotion or help in suggesting or customer service tact. At the end, once our transactions were complete, she did say thank you (coldly also). As we turned to leave, I asked about how to care for the piercings. Then she gave a LOT of information. Dont take aspirin, tylenol, ibuprofen, dont twist them or move them. No alcohol or peroxide. Didnt offer the solutions beautifully put on the wall behind her. She said basically to just let the warm water hit our ears while we showered. Then to use a Saline wash. And that was it. Had I not asked, we would have NEVER gotten that information. And I GUARANTEE you, I would have tried to turn them. These were my FIRST piercings at a tattoo shop! So since I paid a LOT of money for them, I knew I should ask as I didnt want them to be for nothing if I didnt properly take care of them. When she came in to speak with Harley, even her tone with him was different. A lot nicer and softer. Maybe it was just us? 🤷‍♀️

I walked into this little tucked away parlor cool vibe, piercing upstairs and tattoos are downstairs. I have a dermal and I needed it to be screwed back in. Harley was awesome, note that my jewelry is certified so they were able to take me. He was so kind and knew exactly what to do. I was in and out in 10 minutes. Couldn’t have had a better experience and I will be back to get some work done here!

Being comfortable while someone stabs you is hard, but not with Harley. I got my first piercing from him in 2016 and he is the only person I trust. He is so kind and so professional. I’ve had a few piercings and my first tattoo done here. Today’s experience was lovely! Mel the receptionist was very welcoming and kind. Very easy to talk to. Explained pricing clearly and thoroughly. Yes it is a pricey place but this is the only shop I trust with my piercings. They’re sticking foreign objects into your body after all. The shop is clean and the autoclave (sanitizer) is visible in the room. Meg was also very kind and has a great taste in music. She explains what she’s doing and is a true artist when considering placement and angle of the piercings. She considers how they will flow with your body. I love my new nipple piercings!!

Karen B. is hands down the ABSOLUTE BEST piercer!!! She not only helped me map out and style my ears, but she has been incredibly helpful throughout the entire healing process. She has a very sweet and calming demeanor, and she explains everything shes doing from start to finish which helps settle your nerves. Shes also super funny and has stories for days. Definitely an all-around great person! I wont go to anyone else.

Once the jewelry leaves the shop, they will not return it so make sure your earrings match. 😅I was silly and chose the wrong second earring. The staff were kind my first visit, and when I came back, Mr Homer investigated and was able to help me walk out with the right earring. My friends and I have made it a tradition to come on one of our birthdays to pierce or purchase jewelry since one of us is allergic to everything that is not gold. Best piercing experience ever. Karen has always been patient with me and provided excellent customer service. I’m terrified of needles and Karen made sure I was calm, and the piercing was over before I knew it started! I had been having a hard Im removing a piercing. I had been trying to take it out for at least a year. I finally decided to go to a tattoo shop. When I walked in, I told them it was just a removal and It was on really tight. Harley was sooooooooooo great. He spoke to me the entire time and took the piercing off. They do not charge for removal and I wanted to still give him a tip.The entire process was smooth and easy. I felt so comfortable and I will fir sure return. If you are thinking of getting a piercing this is the place to go. It was clean, and the energy there was amazing.

I came here to get a tattoo with my best friend and I honestly regret doing so immensely. I got tattooed with George and payed 200+ for my tattoo only to receive a poorly done, blown out, and already fading tattoo. He also did it in the wrong color, I requested the tattoo to be fully red and he made it black. He also messed up the W on my tattoo, it looks like an M and I know he messed this up because my best friends W is actually a W 🙃. I got this tattoo in October and it looks old and ugly already. Ive also contacted george via DM on Instagram and have called the shop to try and get In contact with George to see if he could fix this only to be ignored.

My bestie and I spontaneously decided to get piercings tonight and had a really great experience. Cody was our piercer and he is awesome! Told us that he was a guest piercer from Arlington and that he goes around different areas to do piercings. He definitely knew what he was talking about and answered any questions we had. Followed him on Insta so if he is ever in Houston again, we can go back to him.

I decided to get my nose pierced on a whim, researched local piercing places, and chose 713. It is a very clean studio, definitely a professional piercing job, and I luckily have had no trouble afterwards. It’s been about 10 weeks.Side note, don’t expect to be greeted in a friendly manner, hand holding, or even a friendly demeanor from employees. In the brief time I was there, all interactions with the people were very brisk and a little rude. Like I was being a pain by asking questions/being excited.They didn’t make sure I knew about what would happen/what to expect during and after piercing. No aftercare explanation, just a general brochure for all piercings. This was disappointing, but I felt at least everything was clean and professionally done. I then had to ask about the coming back for better fitting jewelry after 8-10 weeks, which I read in brochure, and was told that’s not correct, it could be longer.Very sad to me, as this was a fun activity for me, turned blah by attitudes. They were not even busy. I’ve avoided going back because the jewelry is very expensive and I am not excited this time to go back there. I’ll be looking for my new, shorter bar jewelery at a different piercing studio.

I’d say if you want to use that as your résumé you should tattoo better. I’m glad I didn’t come for the piece I really want because he can’t do lines. The facility is incredibly clean, the piercing staff fixed my ear piercings that were previously botched at a different facility and when I was overcharged, the owner, Homer, gave me a call personally. I have gotten two tattoos there, they healed very well with wonderful aftercare instructions given. I highly recommend coming to 713. Thank you to Homer and staff for always being so welcoming and kind!

I went with a couple friends after dinner to get my ears pierced. The man at the counter was overwhelmed by the 5 of us being there and made my friends leave the room. The earrings cost minimum 90$ each plus the cost of piercing. This was more than I anticipated and had to take a minute to think. I was still deciding when the man took my form and crumpled it up saying his jewellery was higher quality (to explain the cost). He made the decision for me, so we all left to go across the street where it cost $60 total (including a tip) for a very nice man to pierce my ears.

Karen and the woman at the front desk (forgot to grab name) were so nice and easy to talk to! sooo much jewelry to choose from and everyone here is so patient even if you ask a million questions.

Walked in to get my nose pierced and get my Tragus jewelry changed out. The front desk girl was great, very nice and greeted me. Suggested jewelry for me. Very welcoming environment from the beginning. There was a wait but I did go on a Saturday night so it was expected. Even at that with the wait the experience was great. My piercer was Cody and he was gentle, knowledgeable and friendly. Made me feel very comfortable and safe getting my piercing. Very clean environment.

I got my first tattoo here and it was pretty nice! It was quick, not that painful, and at a pretty decent price. Dave did amazing, he was so kind! EDIT: I also got my nostril pierced! Very clean, professional, and they provided a pamphlet on piercing care. The extremely nice young women provided a complimentary saline solution bottle on the house due to the extra long wait (2 hours) and consistantly thanked us for being patient and checking on us routinely. She was very sweet! Absolutely great experience!

Mike messed up a very simple tattoo. He did not consult the reference photo and tattooed smudges of ink onto my body. I will never go back here and will tell everyone I know to avoid 713.

I was unable to get my nose stud back in after it being out for a number of months. Megan greeted me warmly and replaced it in no time at no charge. I came here recently to get my eyebrow pierced, and had an amazing experience! I got checked in by Misch (sorry for spelling) - she was super friendly and informative. The wait wasn’t long at all despite being a walk-in. Waiting area was very clean and comfortable. Harley did my piercing and I could tell he was meticulous on placement. The entire piercing process took less than 5 minutes, was painless and there’s been no bleeding or swelling. I would recommend this shop to anyone.

This was my first experience ever going to a tattoo parlor. My friend wanted someone to go with her to get her first tattoo and I did not know what to expect.Upon arriving, we were immediately helped and guided through the exact design and size process of what my friend wanted. Homer was wonderful and extremely helpful in guiding her through with the changes she wanted before we began the process. When they had settled on the design and size we went upstairs and he allowed me to follow them into the room so I could hold her hand. He was funny and immediately made us both feel comfortable with what was about to happen. He reminded us to breathe and if we listened to his directions the whole procedure would only take about 10 minutes. He was extremely patient and kind to us both, appeasing any and all fears we had upon entering the room. I had my second earlobe piercing in May and was extremely pleased with the gentleman who did my piercings. Information was very detailed and helpful. I switched to a different earring recently and in one of the lobes I had a reaction to the new earring. Ariel recommended I do some warm compresses for a couple of days and If I wasn’t totally pleased with my healing they would take a look at it. I purchased an earring from the shop and a very kind, caring and friendly young man replaced it for no charge.The place is very clean, staff is extremely warm and helpful and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for piercings.

Receptionist in the piercing area was very friendly, patient, and answered all my questions. I never felt rushed. The piercer was very to the point and you could tell he does this a million times a day. Would come back again!

My 16 year old daughter was brought to this store by her aunt on her fathers side. Her aunt lied and said she was me / her mom, in order for her to get piercings, thankfully Coli / an artist employee there , asked for a birth certificate , of course her aunt could not produce this and thankfully was unable to violate an obvious protocol by carrying her plans out. I am beyond grateful and relieved. Thank you so much! This is obviously a responsible business with well trained people.

Just got my conch pierced here today! It was a great experience, Harley is super trustworthy as a piercer. He warned against certain piercings for my ear shape, recommended jewelry he thought Id like based on my price range, and genuinely cares about the healing process of his piercings. Everything was safe, clean, quick, and easy. The jewelry is very high quality, too. Definitely recommend and will be returning!

I recently went to 713 to get my second lobe piercings done. Harley was my piercer and it could not have been a smoother process. I went on a weekday, there was no wait, walked straight in got the piercings. It was so quick and virtually painless and there was a really nice selection of jewelry. I would definitely go back for another piercing.

Piercing is upstairs.The people were very nice, and very professional. I brought my daughter for a piercing, and they required the proper paperwork. They did actually sterilize their equipment on an autoclave, the piercing room had a sink and marked sharps/bio disposal. The room seemed very clean. You can tell they care about the hygiene of the place.The guy that did the piercing (I didnt catch his name, long hair and beard) was very approachable and professional. He explained everything he was doing and why he was doing it. He seemed to care about the outcome. He wore fresh gloves the entire time and tossed them when he was done.The pricing seemed reasonable to me, but I dont really know what the normal market prices are.My only criticism is the lack of parking. They only have 5 spots out front so we had to find street parking on a side street. I get it though, parking in Midtown sucks everywhere.Would absolutely come back here for piercings, and would check them out for tattoos as well.

About a week ago I decided to get a navel piercing. The staff were professional and super friendly. Brit was my piercer super pro light and professional. I forgot the woman who was doing the cash handling but she was super nice and explained after care for me and everything. I will be back there in a couple weeks to downsize. I recommend this place too many people. Make sure you have your ID and piercings are upstairs. I would definitely come back again for another piercing !!!

First come first serve for piercings. There were about 3 parties ahead of me- small waiting room and it took over an hour to be seen for jewelry change. The front desk and piercer were extremely nice and helpful

I went to 713 after I had an emergency incident with a recent conch piercing screw top falling out (from another piercing parlor) and I wanted to save my piercing before it closed up. I called ahead and spoke with Harley. Even though I got it from another place, they were able to help me almost immediately.Harley was honestly one of the kindest souls Ive ever met. He has such a calming energy, makes you feel at ease instantly, and hes so knowledgeable. You can tell he just enjoys his job and helping people He was able to switch my conch piercing to a better piece that isnt threaded (so it wont unscrew accidentally) and he did it so fast and painlessly. I highly recommend seeing Harley if youre getting a piercing, and highly recommend 713 for its beautiful jewelry options.

Kind of bummed to write this review. Was tatted here previously and had a great experience. This past time, the bald guy with the glasses at the front desk was extremely inconsiderate. He refused to work on resizing a very simple line tattoo with myself and my friends. He insisted it had to be large and wanted to charge us $150. We asked multiple times if we could work to have the tattoos be a different size or try and different design but he refused to do that and exhibited an unprofessional attitude towards all of us. We ultimately ended up leaving the shop after waiting a while. As customers, you don’t want to feel uncomfortable or unable to talk with your tattoo artist. This guys definitely made us feel that way. Would recommend other artists other than this guy.

Got a thigh piece of a succubus by Homer and it was a great experience! The shop is very clean, with polite and knowledgeable staff ready to assist in anyway that they can! The price was communicated before the tattoo began and was what I expected! Homer did a amazing job on the tattoo and was very fast at knocking it out! 713 is the only shop I will go to in the future!

Got a lobe piercing from another place thats been feeling sore, and wanted to change my earring. Harley was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and professional about the situation. He picked out earrings that would be better for the healing process and was gentle when switching out my old piercings. Admittedly, I felt really nervous because of how sore my piercing was, but Harley was so warm and calm, I felt extremely comfortable! Will def be going here for my next piercing :)

Got a couple tattoos from Mike in the past few months. Extremely happy with the results. One of them was emotionally important to me and he gave me exactly what I asked for. I’ll definitely be coming here again and recommend to friends and family.

From out of town and stopped in for a piercing, Harley and Jo made me feel super comfortable and informed the entire time about pricing and cleanliness. Everything was super clean, and while they were busy with one piercer I don’t believe I was there longer than an hour! My piercing came out perfect and Harley did an amazing job making me comfortable and talking me through everything he was doing/about to do during the whole process.

I came in here for something quick in regards to addressing something with my piercing and when I tell you the customer service was GREAT!!! Coli was very knowledgeable, she held great conversation the whole time and was genuine. The other people in the shop also joined in on conversation with us. Harley was the piercer when I visited, and he was super chill, friendly, and knowledgeable. He was fast, but took time to ensure I was happy with the placement and made me feel at ease. Both the waiting room and the actual room where you get pierced were immaculately clean, and he used sterilized equipment and cleaned the piercing site thoroughly. I walked out a very happy client.Beauty Bar— I love, love, love my eyebrows! Lauren is very detailed oriented and she listens to her customers. She uses technology to check measurements for your eyebrows and explains to you what the natural proportions are for your face . She then inserts the customer’s desires to create the perfect looking brow!

Only have gotten piercings here but the staff is helpful at picking out jewelry for whatever placement you are getting! The jewelry selection is great especially if you are sensitive like me. I’ve brought my sisters here and friends here they all have had positive experiences!

I had a few piercings done by Harley a couple of days ago, and Im so pleased with the whole experience. Harley is friendly, polite, professional, and talked me through the whole process. Its really clean and COVID protocols are in place. I love my new piercings! If I get any more, I will definitely go back to 713.Update: I did go back for 3 more piercings last week! Britt was really great & so nice. He gave me lots of aftercare tips, and explained the timeline for healing. Between my 2 visits, I got 7 piercings in one ear & I am so happy with how they look!

We took my 7 year old daughter there to get her first ear piercing for her birthday, and I am absolutely astounded at the amazing service and results. Everyone we encountered at the shop was very friendly from the time we walked in, and our piercer, Britt, was especially so. He took the time to talk to my daughter about the process and required aftercare and make her feel comfortable. Time was taken to make sure the placement was perfect, and the cleanliness and sterilization procedures were completely by the book (if not more so). Britt was fast and gentle with the piercing itself. The whole thing was totally on par with my experiences with the best piercers in Seattle (my awesome experiences there made me picky and serious about making hers perfect!), and I will not hesitate to take my other daughters there if/when they decide to get their first piercings. We dont even live in the area, and it was well worth the 3 hour drive.Im writing this 2 months later, and can attest that the piercing has healed beautifully. She followed his instructions, and the piercing never even scabbed over, never got infected, and didnt even bother her past the first couple days. The jewelry was amazing quality and well worth the price.

Went this past Saturday to get a piercing, Harley did a fantastic job, and was absolutely pleasant & friendly, I had a bit of a wait time, but he took care of the queue in a timely manner. Everything was extremely clean and hygienic. I will absolutely be coming back as my conch heals to get some cute jewelry. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get a piercing.

Super friendly staff and sanitary environment. I went to get my belly piercing redone by Harley, and he was the sweetest thing. he made me feel comfortable and made sure my belly button didn’t have too much scar tissue before piercing. nice to go to professionals who take that extra mile! 10/10 experience, I definitely recommend.

Came to 713 Tattoo for some piercings with a few girlfriends on Saturday. Harley did a great job. He was very thorough and willing to answer all of our questions. The shop was busy but I did not feel rushed through the process and only waited about 15 minutes (did not have an apt just walked in). He was very professional yet friendly which made me feel comfortable. I would definitely recommend getting piercings here. They have the best selection of jewelry I’ve seen.

Harley took care of me today and did a wonderful job! He was very kind and helped me pick the perfect jewelry for my ears. He listened to my feedback about the placement and was great to talk with in general. I plan to go back to him for whichever piercing I’m getting next.

My girlfriend and I came here for double nostril piercings. They told us it would be a 45 minute wait but it took no longer than 20. The room was completely clean and sterile and the furniture was nice, so a very comfortable experience. Harley was incredibly quick and professional, told us exactly what he would do and was able to perform the piercings with maximum speed and minimal pain. We will 100% be coming back to 713 and back to Harley in the future.

While 713 has great jewelry options and nice ambience, it is (in my opinion) overpriced for the quality of services they provide. My friend got her double lobe piercings done each for $60. The spacing was AWFUL, and now she can only wear small earrings in order for them not to touch. Whats more, the jewelry ended up getting stuck inside of her ear. For 120 dollars, youd expect more-- especially for something as easy as a lobe piercing. There are lots of other great piercing shops in Houston with just as many jewelry options that dont charge as much.

Went in for a tattoo on my left rib with no appointment. Homer helped me out and was super polite. Gave him a reference picture and he sketched up a design super quickly. He was incredibly proficient in his art and produced a beautiful design. His work was so amazing, when I looked in the mirror at the finished product I began crying tears of happiness. Could not have asked for a better artist to tattoo me. Homer is amazing

What an AMAZING experience. Miche behind the piercing counter was incredibly knowledgeable and was able to guide me through choosing jewelry for my nostril piercing. Harley did a wonderful job piercing me. He was kind, compassionate, and completely professional. I live 200 miles away and will definitely make the drive for all future piercings.

Came to visit Houston from Oklahoma City and found 713 on instagram. Got a new piece from Homer and he did a killer job. Communication was easy and he got me an appointment to fit my schedule. I couldnt love my tattoo any more. I highly recommend booking with Homer or any of the artists @ 713.

I wanted to get some new piercings for my birthday, a friend who gets tattoos here recommended this place. After reading the reviews I decided to try it out. It’s a little higher priced than most places for what I was getting done but it was important to me that it was done well because I’ve had bad experiences in the past and WOW. I understand why the ratings are so high! I wish I could remember my piercers name but she was so awesome! She made me feel super comfortable (I was getting my nipples pierced so you can imagine how awkward that could have been). She measured a few times to make sure everything fit my body anatomy and was straight, the “procedure” was quick and *almost* painless lol judging by the healing so far, everything was done correctly and at the proper gauge for my body. She was very informative on how to care for them, and when i needed to come back to get smaller jewelry, and even offered to help clean/care for them if I struggled with it. I love the new piercings and I’m super satisfied with the service here! Would definitely come back again, and my friends tattoos looks great too !

I have been here twice now. The first time was to get a new ring for my vch, and the second time to get retainers for my piercings because of an upcoming surgery. Both piercers I met were extremely sweet and professional. They have great quality jewelry. I really enjoy that they still require masks. I’m excited to get pierced by them in the future. 10/10

Came in on a Saturday and the shop was busy! Theres something about the buzz of tattoo guns thats ASMR to me.My cousin and I went upstairs to get piercings, her a lobe, me a septum. I really appreciated the piercers tenacity on getting all clients necessary documents. For a busy day, our wait was less than 30 minutes and we were both done in less than 10 minutes. I had a great experience @ 713 with my initial nostril and earlobe piercings. Harley and Cody (who was visiting from Dallas) were both fantastic, friendly, and very knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable with their professional yet affable dispositions. The place was very clean and well suited for business. I was offered a complementary follow up as well to ensure that everything went well. I highly recommend this place for anyone getting a piercing.

Came in from out of town as a walk-in and was greeted by Braydon. His service was impeccable. He’s funny, relatable, provides good recommendations and was able to capture what I wanted done very quickly. I was tattooed by Josh and he did his thing. He’s not heavy handed and made behind the ear super bearable. Good convo too and gave recs for a place close to home. If I’m ever back in the city, I would definitely come again.

We came here on 3/21/22 to pierce my 10 year olds ears. The whole process was wonderful. From our check in, staff was so attentive and patient as we selected earrings. Harley was our piercer and he repeatedly assured my daughter that she was so smart and brave and talked to her. This is a child who is scared of needles and she didn’t hesitate with his explanation and reassurance. Highly recommend!

I have gotten multiple piercings done here (septum, conch, lobes, etc). The staff is professional, the studio is clean and stylish, and the jewelry selection is high quality. Harley is my favorite piercer -- he is patient and helpful with the questions I have, attentive to my concerns, and has a kind energy about him. I recommend this place. Once they are offering under-the-mask piercings again, I would like to get my nose pierced here.

Got my conch and my second lobe pierced yesterday by Harley right as 713 opened with Jo at the front. BEST PIERCING STUDIO IN HOUSTON. Harley was super professional, clean, and kind. Made sure I was comfortable the entire time and Im obsessed with my piercings. He put in the effort to make sure they were placed properly and talked me through the entire process without being asked to do so. Jo at the front helped me figure out which piercings would balance out my ear with the piercings I already had and helped me pick out the jewelry to match the design I wanted to switch towards while still fitting with the jewelry I havent had the chance to switch. Jo talked me through aftercare and made sure I was aware that I would need to come in for downsizing.

Harley was amazing! Best piercing experience Ive ever had( and Ive had quite a few) he was super sweet and took his time, made sure i was comfortable, and was obviously very knowledgeable. He was even able to work with me dispite my medical conditions and gave me extra time to lay down to make sure I didnt get dizzy. Amazing experience Harley was super nice. I have been here for a few piercings now. Karen and Harley are both wonderful! They are knowledgeable, helpful, and make you feel at ease. Unfortunately the last time I went and took a friend the experience was not as great. Linda was working she was extremely rude and unhelpful. The kind of encounter that will make you reconsider coming back.
