Ashley was amazing and very thorough. I enjoyed my experience even while I had 3 year old and 8 week old baby. We were in and out, Im already looking to schedule my next piercing with her.

I got my nose pierced several years ago and have not had one single issue with it. She was extremely knowledgeable and has great jewelry. I’ve seen a handful of bad reviews and I think people are mistaking professionalism for “rudeness” and also 80 for jewelry and piercing is not too much at all. If you want a good piercer and good jewelry you need to pay for it. If it’s too expensive maybe you should reevaluate your priorities. Absolutely recommend Ashley.

Ashley was very good doing my piercings .She did both my tragus and conch, and put me at ease when piercing me. Her jewelry is gorgeous , and I had a hard time picking a piece to wear. If you want high end quality jewelry , her studio is the place to go. She was very good in answering all my questions I needed , and educated me , what to do and not do during the healing process.I highly recommend her, if you are looking to getting pierced

Ashley was very professional and did a great job piercing my upper ear lobe, I love the way it looks and she was great with informing me on the aftercare. The jewelry she used was very high quality and is very durable. I would definitely recommend.

I got my nose pierced yesterday with Ashley and she is awesome! She’s super sweet and very caring, I felt a connection with her even with the short time she spent working on me. Her jewelry is very high quality for the price and definitely worth your money. I enjoyed my experience getting my double helix piercing! I was surprised by some of the negative comments left on here because I think Ashley is very professional, knowledgeable, and especially patient. I don’t see how some people said she was “cold” because it’s not true. She was very kind and friendly and the higher prices are because she uses top notch jewelry. I will definitely be back to get more piercings on my other ear in a few months!

I’ve suffered from chronic migraines for many years and after a 4 day intense migraine I decided to contact Ashley Darling in May 2017. Within 30 min of getting the daith piercing my migraine was centralized and then gone an hour later! I returned June 2023 to get the ball changed out and haven’t had a chronic migraine since. I really cant recommend Ashley enough. She has done my daith, conch, nose, and helix which have all healed perfectly. Shes so knowledgeable about what she does and works with you to find the perfect pieces. I have changed my mind several times on her and she has always been so patient and kind. Her jewelry selection is GORGEOUS. I love the jewelry so much I dont feel the need to switch them out- so to me the price is totally worth it to have a piece that Ill keep in forever. I have had some BAD piercings done by past piercers that have healed terribly or caused trauma but I have never had a problem with any of the piercings she has done. She is quick (which is nice because it doesnt allow you time to be anxious), her space is clean, and has such a gentle touch. I will never go to anyone else. I have always had such a positive experience my only regret is not going to her from the beginning!

Ashley pierced my septum just over a year ago and I was so happy with the experience and the outcome. My piercing looks great and she made me feel super comfortable and calmed my nerves. I thought I was done with getting more piercings but now Im thinking about a couple more! I do need a few new pieces of jewelry and hope I can find something. I dont recall there being a super large selection there but not a reason to not give Ashley a great review.

I got helix done by Ashley Darling and it was the best overall experience I’ve had. She is so cool and laid back but very professional and knowledgeable at the same time. I felt like the price was fair for the great service she provided and the quality jewelry you get. I read previous reviews before going so I knew what to expect but I honestly don’t understand why some rated her so poorly. I feel like as long as you know what you want and price you are willing to pay ahead of time there shouldn’t be any surprises. I did message her a few days prior with questions before setting my appointment because I knew I wanted a gold piece. The price of the jewelry and piercing were combined together so I paid $195 for the service and a rose gold piece with a sun stone (taxes and tip not included). Over I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a quality experience, I would also recommend setting an appointment ahead of time as well so that you have time to ask any additional questions you may have as I’ve noticed appointment were given priority over walk ins. Hope this helps anyone on the fence.

Ashley is a true Professional with a friendly disposition. She is upfront, patient, very responsive, informative, takes time with her clients, and practices the “proper” sterilization techniques. She has been piercing for over 12 years and is highly Credentialed. Her Jewelry is of High Quality and she stands behind it. I gladly waited 6 minutes for her to sterilize my Jewelry in the similar manner that I used to sterilize Dental Instruments. This was my first time meeting her and I am so glad I choose this shop. I will happily do business with her in the future.

I cannot say enough good things about Ashley. She’s done my double forward helix, my conch, and two flat piercings for me. I have difficult healing ears, but her piercings never really give me issues. The jewelry is beautiful, she’s extremely helpful with placement and ear curating, and she’s kind beyond belief. Please go get pierced by her. You will not regret it. :)

I have never had a bad experience with Ashley! Everytime I have gone somewhere else I always end up having to go back to Ashley for her to fix and change someone else’s mistakes. She always informs me about what she’s about to do and I love the amount of jewelry options I have to choose from. She’s super knowledgeable and helps me finds solutions to terrible piercings I have gotten from other locations. I am definitely going to stay as a committed client!

I LOVE Ashley!!!! Got my nose pierced about a month & a half ago. For everyone reading the negative comments about her being “Cold” and rude” she’s really not!!! She has a really funny and sarcastic personality. What matters is her piercings are QUALITY. My nose piercing healed so well because of how professional she pierced, and the type of jewelry she uses. It was more expensive than I thought, but I rather have it done right. Going back to her soon to get it changed out!!!!!

I called the day before because I had so many questions, they invited me to come in for a consultantion. I went there the next day and they were super nice and polite. Ashley was so sweet but firm, I’m a very nervous person about to chicken out, but she made me feel comfortable . She called me in and her working area, so neat and nice, very clean, everything was sterilized, she explained in a lot of detail what she was going to do, answered all my questions. The piercing was quick, pain very tolerable. Afterwards she explained how to take care of my piercing, what to do, what not to do. I’m very happy with the results. Totally recommend her.

Ashley is amazing. She’s done my Tragus and my nose so far. She was very patient with me and gentle considering a needle was going through me. I was definitely nervous but she is really good at what she does. She made me feel comfortable and helped to reassure me that it wasn’t going to be as bad as I thought, and she was right. Ive received multiple ear piercings from Ashley. She is a professional and great at helping you not only finalize the piercing location but the jewelry if you cant decide (because she has a huge selection of piercing jewelry!). Shes an APP member and ensures everything is clean, jewelry is sterile, and technique is efficient and thorough. Shes the best in Jacksonville, wouldnt go anywhere else.

My friend and I went to Ashley for a septum and it went very smoothly, she was very professional and thorough. She explained the entire process and the aftercare in great detail, which helped ease some nerves. The jewelry selection is amazing too, all very high quality. I would definitely recommend going to her.

I got 2 piercings done by Ashley. After about 6 months, one of the piercings had set in an odd and irritating way, but the other was insanely perfect! I simply just sent her an email, she told me to take out the one that had set odd, and come back in a few months later for a new piercing at no charge! Now my piercings are both insanely perfect and I could not have had a better experience. Highly recommend!

Ashley is very knowledgeable. She put me at ease and taught me how to care for the daith piercing that she did and how to care for other piercings I had recently gotten done elsewhere. Ashley is a total pro. And her shop is clean. She uses an autoclave. Definitely recommend.

I have no doubt that Ashley is a great piercer, but for infants or younger children, Im a little skeptical. I took my 2 month old daughter to get her ears pierced because after some research, needle is better than the gun. But after this experience, I should have just taken her to the mall. I had to hold my daughters head so she wouldnt move, no problem, I expected that, but she didnt really tell me WHEN she was starting so that I could REALLY hold my daughters head still. The result of this was decent holes, but if I knew exactly when she was going to start to hold my daughters head more sturdy, the result could have been better. Also, all piercings Ive ever seen or had done on myself, has been done with a clamp and fast. There was no clamp for accuracy and the process for poking the needle through was so slow which made it seem so painful for my little girl. I was expecting a fast and quick poke like piercings usually are. I do like that Ashley offered to re-do them, but I did not want to put my little girl through the pain again. They look good with a quick look, but I feel like it could have been way better and way less painful for her if I went somewhere else.

Got my septum pierced today. Ashley was quick to respond to my questions beforehand on messages, easy to make an appointment with, and very kind. Appointment was quick and easy, she was very professional, but still kind and nice. I love it and will be going back for any and every future piercing!

Ive gone here for my own piercings and was so confident in her work I took my own daughter to her when she said she was ready.. Ashley is very sweet and gentle and didnt get upset at all when my daughter changed her mind about having her ears pierced. I reccomend her to everyone and their kids ❤

Great experience with Ashley! I found her via Google search and went to her website and Instagram. Loved the photos I saw from her portfolio and jewelry she uses. Easily made an appointment from Instagram for the next day. She was very professional. I got my nose pierced, which I had previously but it closed, so I knew what to expect. She helped me pick out jewelry but mostly left the decision up to me. Basically she did keep me from picking a stud that was WAY too big 😂 but left the final decision up to me, which was appropriate. Her space in Grimmwerks is very clean and cute. Her jewelry and pricing was appropriate with a good range from affordable to more expensive. She went over aftercare instructions thoroughly with me. I chose a post stud vs a corkscrew stud so she gave me a time frame to make an appointment and come back to have the post switched out once swelling went down.

She was AMAZING. Educated me on the process and products.

I’ve had my nose pierced by other establishments in the past. I ended up taking the earrings out to let it heal. I was given Ashley’s number and called to make an appointment. I have no regrets on making my appointment. The piercing didn’t hurt like previously and I was able to get the smaller stud like I’ve always wanted. Please check her out!

Ashley is thee best, hands down. I’ve gone to Ashley for two piercings so far and she fixed one I got done at a previous terrible place. Very knowledgeable def knows what she’s doing. Very sweet and patient. And pricing is very fair and reasonable. Another thing I respect is that she won’t do anything if she feels it won’t benefit you and ur piercing. For example; I did my Tragus first & I came back about 3 months later but she wouldn’t do my other ear bc she knew I needed more healing time and I would be uncomfortable sleeping. She had my best interest in mind. Fast forward another few months and I came back and finally got a Rook in my other ear. I’m in love with them both. I’m moving back to Orlando soon but I will def come back to Jax in another few months so she can do my final ear piercing.

Ashely Darling did my nips for me and I would go to her again. I loved her room at the studio! Ashely was professional and I didn’t feel uncomfortable at all. I knew what I wanted and had done my research so I was kind of in and out but the few questions I did have she was very informative. Very happy with my piercings.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I had my first two piercings done by her, and had a bit of trouble with them, being that they were my firsts, and she was super understanding and caring and professional. Everything was clean and done very timely for me tending to tense up at times (lol). Super thankful for her and can’t wait to go back to get more:)

I got my vch done by Ashley about 2 years ago and the placement was perfect. It was intense pain for the split seconds as the needle went through, then there was no lingering pain whatsoever. Its straight and beautifully done. I just got my nipples done by her as well and again, perfect alignment. It hurt during the procedure though not as bad as I anticipated. A little lingering pain for a bit but so worth it and so more than tolerable. She is the only person I want to do my piercings. I drive 35 minutes to get to her. Shes sweet, knowledgable, and good at what she does!

Ashley was very professional and I would recommend her to anyone that wants it done right. My daughter had to have her ear lobe re-done because the the mall messed it up years ago. She made sure it was aligned with the other ear and put my daughter at ease. She also got her cartilage done in the same ear.

So this was awhile back (maybe 2018?) I had a terrible experience. I didn’t think to post about it until now. Originally got a nose piercing from Ashley and had an ok experience. So I end up going back to change the stud to a hoop. I understand having a lot of clients and I’m not sure what the correct protocol for forgetting what kind of stud someone pierces a client with. Ashley ended up yanking so hard to get the stud out it ended up ripping my skin. I know she forgot what kind because she finally figured it out (after I’m tearing up from pain) and casually laughed it off. There is still a tiny scar to this day.

Super fast. As a nurse I loved that she autoclaved my jewelry super sanitary. Great experience will definitely be back again. Her jewelry selection is awesome. Prices are fair, I dont understand complaints about price. Her jewelry is great and shes very qualified in doing my research on the brands she carries they are all top of the line. Soooo higher prices make sense tou get what you pay for and when someone is sticking a needle in my face I will happily pay the higher price for quality and skillset.

Very relaxed experience. The owner is welcoming and throughly explains everything. I was very nervous getting my vch but she took her time marking and the piercing was quick. Cute shop and everything is sterile.Go check her out!

So rude. Basically treated me like she didnt even want to help me or I was inconveniencing her by asking questions about jewelry within a certain price range. She dropped all the nose studs, picked them up off the floor, put them back in the showcase, and made a nasty comment when I said I didnt want to purchase any of those dirty ones. She was so much nicer to the previous customer who had just as many questions as I did.

I called to get a price on a helix piercing as I saw that this shop had good reviews. When I asked she said that I had already called her and “should look at portfolios instead of looking for the cheapest piercing”. I had not called her previously as I had only called one other shop that was recommended to me by a friend. She was very rude and degrading towards me and when I went to explain I had not previously called she hung up on me. I even thought I might have been in the wrong so I checked my call log and I had not called this shop. I would not recommend this shop as they are very unprofessional and I hadn’t even stepped foot in the shop yet.

Ashley was awesome very nice and knowledgeable she answered all my questions about ALL my piercings on my body and when she pierced my conch it was fast and felt no pain, pricing is higher bc the jewelry is of higher grade very sparkly and worth every penny; i would come back thanks Ashley :)

80 for just one nose piercing that’s a literal scamEDIT: Unprofessional response from the piercer. I feel my experience warranted a one star review. As a professional if you cannot take the criticism, I suggest that you revaluate your profession. I am not accusing you of being bad at your job but simply know your price range. This is not LA or NYC, but its on you too take what I say with a grain of salt and THAT seems like a personal problem.

She pierced my industrial today and was very professional. She also didn’t hesitate to make sure I was comfortable throughout the process. Overall an amazing piercer!

Great place to get a piercing. A little high on prices, I went and got my industrial done and it was $90 and some change out the door. However, everywhere else I had called did the same piercing for $60. First time trying this place, and only went because it was Sunday and most places were closed, but the piercer is a wonderful lady who makes you feel at ease.

I grew up coming to wing it next door so the location is conveniently located. You walk in and the lay out is beautiful. The colors are pretty. The check in system is modern and on tablets. Scans Ids by taking a picture. Easy peasy. She accepts cards..... I decided to go with a friend while our little girls where in a gym class together haha.... Im mentioning this is because I just googled the closest piercing spot.Thankfully this place came up near by. We both got our noses pierced. I am very Meticulous about cleanliness. She passed. Even in between my friend and I, she upheld the same level of care and made sure to explain the process to me (even though she just did the exact same to my friend and I was right there). She spoke to me on a personal level and answered all my silly questions with professionalism. I was scared. It hurt. I cried. It stopped hurting 2 1/2 seconds later. This is the next day. I feel nothing. Lol go to her. ♡ I will say I was a bit put back by her style of explaining of pricinging at first. Looking back she was just being efficient and not wasting time lol. I personally suggest posting the price of each section of jewelry somehow just to kinda avoid that put on the spot feeling. That could just be me, so 5 stars nonetheless 😬

She’s not very friendly at all. and when I asked her for her opinion she didn’t want give any because she “doesn’t wanna be responsible”. Wow that’s not professional and wouldn’t wanna go to someone that can’t help a customer or give suggestions because she should be the one with experience.. I left because I wouldn’t get pierced by someone cold and clueless as her.
