Got my Medusa/Philtrum pierced at the studio and it was a lovely experience! They helped me pick out jewelry in my price range and it was also one of the cheapest piercings I’ve gotten in Boston. Also there is no fee for making an appointment you just have to call and your set! Beyond happy

Recently got my first piercing here, both lobes, with the awesome Callie, who talked me through everything and was just a pleasure to work with. will be coming back!

The team was incredibly nice in person but I was overcharged for my purchase. When I contacted the store after seeing the overcharge on my credit card statement, they stated the price was different (although I confirmed the price online). I asked them to make me whole by reducing the errant upcharge. They said they wouldnt and then hung up on me. Ive never had a business incorrectly charge me then claim that despite that fact, they cant do anything. I was charged $52 on my credit card for a circular barbell for a septum piercing whereas the price in the store was $40 (see attached)EDIT: ultimately one of the balls had the threading strip on my third time removing it and is no longer useable. I can’t recommend this shop for using poor products and mischarging their customers

This place is the best ! the environment is very inviting and very clean ! the staff were very knowledgeable, patient, and answered all the questions i had.i went in for a surface bar piercing by Van and he was very pleasant, explained everything, and made sure i was comfortable.plz go to Rockstar for your piercings, you wont be disappointed !

I came here with the intention of piercing my belly button, however I was informed I don’t have the anatomy for a piercing that would heal successfully. I really respect them for not doing a piercing that would end poorly.Since I’d already come all that way I asked about my ears. I’ve had them done at Claire’s and the healing has always been unsuccessful which led to one ear tearing. They helped me find a placement I liked and gave me tips to close up the Claire’s piercings and heal the new ones. Getting pierced with a needle hurt much less than a piercing gun. All the employees were so kind and helpful. 10/10 would recommend.(I just left the piercing place so they are swollen)

DISLCAIMER:: if I’m leaving a review it’s cause you deserve it!.I’ve had my nose pierced both sides before. This time around when usually more painful due to scar tissue this was less painful than the first time. Not only is the piercer well trained, quick and professional but the place is pristine and clean! As a medical professional not only do they tell you step by step everything they are doing but they actually sterilize the instruments and jewelry they use on you. I believe this was the reason I had the quickest and infection free healing out of any piercing I’ve ever had! 10/10 highly recommend! Everyone is friendly and they’re very knowledgeable about all their jewelry. I honestly can’t leave a long enough review cause I’d just ramble on about how wonderful this place is. 100% real jewelry lifetime warranty on everything you buy (minus lost jewelry) my money as well spent and you pay for the QUALITY. This is the only place I’ll go to for all my piercings and piercing jewelry. The standard is high! If you aren’t getting this kind of service at a parlor YOU’RE AT THE WRONG PLACE! Go to RockStar!

I have been to this shop several times. They first helped me when I had an issue with a piercing and let me know right away that it was infected and to get to a doctor. After they were so kind and helpful I ended up getting two piercings here (many months later). They helped me pick out some amazing jewelry. When getting my piercings they took their time to map everything out and made sure I loved the placement. They even did a little extra cleaning on an older piercing that I had asked about. It was super great experience. They also helped me out when I needed retainers put in for an mri. Everyone here couldn’t be nicer and more knowledgeable. Also the jewelry selection is amazing. I recommend this place to any of my friends to get pierced or get jewelry.

I had a great experience here! The place itself is very neat and clean, and all the staff were super helpful and friendly. My piercer, Kallie, was really patient with me as it was my first piercing - she made sure to thoroughly explain the procedure and answer any questions I had. The piercing itself went really smoothly too. I highly recommend this place and Ill definitely be back for another piercing!

This was by far the best experience I’ve had while getting my piercings done, the staff are super cool, friendly & patient. Charlie also makes sure everything is disinfected/sterilized before the next client. Charlie had pierced me and my friends nose. He was very patient In helping the both of us choose our nose rings and which fits best for us. He definitely made sure we were ready and relaxed before getting started went over instructions carefully with us regarding the aftercare which was very helpful, they’re a bit pricey but worth the money for certain if you’re thinking of getting any kind of piercings this is the spot.

Great place to go for a piercing! Kallie did an amazing job explaining the entire process and waiting until my friend was ready for the piercing. The shop was clean and sterile, and the piercer followed all hygiene protocols. They also had a decent jewelry selection. Be prepared to pay a little more here than at other places but its totally worth it!

Came here to get my septum repierced, Charlie was actually able to just stretch it and put the jewelry back in. All staff were really nice and Charlie was super professional and walked me through everythingWould definitely go back

I called today with the hope of getting a same-day appointment to help with a really severely embedded forward helix earring. Not only were they super quick to see me (within 30 min of my call) they were very considerate and kind when talking me through what my appointment would look like. I was rightfully warned that if it was too embedded I would be better off heading to a doctor for the removal, and was kindly told I wouldn’t have to pay if that was the decision made. However!! They were able to remove the piercing, which was basically embedded on both sides. I have had a lot of piercings but very few complications. It was really comforting to be in such a professional and considerate space, and I really respect how much knowledge I was given in terms of a removal plan and recovery. When I’m healed up, I will totally be coming back for a re-piercing if possible, and some other pieces.

Went in to have some jewelry put back in after a long time without. Charlie is a true master of the craft. Got everything back in seamlessly despite the challenge. Would 100% recommend. Pricing was also very fair.

Today I got my first piercing with a needle which was my nostril, Kallie did a great job explaining the process to me and my mom and I overall had a great experience, the shop offers stunning jewelry for every type of piercing and has A1 staff. 1000/10!

I had a great experience here. I went in to purchase an earring and have them put it in. They were very helpful as I chose the jewelry and didnt rush me to make a decision. Everything went smoothly and I am very pleased to have this place in JP!

The facility is spotless and the jewelry selection is beautiful and high-end. Pete was amazing - he kept my daughter calm and talked her through the ear piercing process each step of the way. We highly recommend!

My friend had an amazing experience getting his first lobes done. They looks amazing and worked with him to make him feel comfortable. They only allow one person in the back at a time. I even got my piercing checked that I got done at another shop.

Overall good experience. I went in to have a micro-dermal piercing removed and I appreciated their availability/ability to get me in same-day. The piercer was professional and took the time to explain reasons my dermal was infected incase I may want to save the thing, but ultimately I just wanted it out.My only bother was the gal at the register... she literally watched me progress through the payment options all the way to the tipping screen. She watched me chang the tip amount, and gave an audible hmph of dissatisfaction. It was really unprofessional. For reference, I also purchased 2 pieces of jewelry totaling $360 and I can only assume she wanted a 15-20% tip on that amount instead of just the service fee of removing my dermal ($20).Long story short. Would recommend this place for dermal removal- hopefully theyll have Band-Aids next time.

I was a walk in just for new jewelry and they were very nice to squeeze me in, and the artist was very gentle during the jewelry change.

Charlie was absolutely awesome. Super communicative, fantastic bedside manner, totally transparent, and an overall really nice dude. I regretfully didnt catch the name of the lovely lady at the front desk, but she was also top notch! 10/10, will be returning soon.

I called ahead and asked if my 14 year old daughter, who will turn 15 in 7 days, could get her belly pierced and the woman on the phone said yes, that she just needed to bring the documents with her mothers permission, we drove 30 minutes to get there and when we arrived the woman said that by law she could only get the piercing when she was 15 years old, we called ahead and asked, we drove 30 minutes to go and 30 minutes to get back and the only thing she said was sorry, I tried to talk to the body piercing and She didnt like it very much when I asked, so next time train your employee better and be more respectful with your customers, terrible service.
