I love this place! I went in to get a vertical labret piercing, and I had an awesome experience. My piercer was kind and put me at ease. They answered my many questions about aftercare, and replaced my bar with a shorter one once it healed enough. Definitely would recommend! Great prices also.

We were a walk in and got Drew. He was kind and patient considering it was our first time while being very informative. My tattoo idea came from pinterest and he totally recreated it with my preferences and character. Great artist! The shop was also clean, sanitary, welcoming and affordable.

Got my “tatas” pierced and she done really good, it’s been almost a month now and they have healed AMAZING, they also were only sore for a few hours I always get my piercings here I love it!

My last 8 piercings have been done here and everyone is always super nice ^-^ I recommend them for any piercings they provide.

I went to another local place and they didnt do a good job on one of my tattoos. So i decided to go to 2Ton. I went to see Justin Harless and he definitely didnt disappoint. He did an amazing job on my forearm tattoo. He has great customer service and a great attitude. I recommend this place. I will definitely be going back to see him.

I wanna give it 5 stars, ive gone twice with my mother now and definitely will go again because of how quick, clean, and shockingly cheap a piercing is. But the lady at the front desk has done nothing but given attitude both times weve gone. My mother is autistic and when the lady at the front desk was going through the check list of what she had to sign my mom was repeating it out loud. My mother is also almost 40 and not pregnant or breastfeeding. The girl then handed my mom the tablet to sign and it didnt work. my mom told her signing it wasnt working and she said back condescendingly oh, you cant figure this out since you know everything else. My mom didnt even really know she was being rude and told her that no she doesnt really know apple products. like, this wasnt necessary to say to my mother at all. Everyone else we have interacted with here has been so kind and professional. we will be going again but come on. kindness goes a long way in customer service. But we love it here otherwise.

Went in for Valentines Day flash tattoos with my best friend! We had a blast. Staff is phenomenal, funny, and inclusive. They make sure you are ready and comfortable with the choices you make. Ashley did such a good job!

I had an idea of what I wanted for my first tattoo and was a little nervous to get it. He guided me through the whole process and made it as seamless as possible. The first time I went in there the lady at the front wouldnt sell me but 3 earrings!! She told me that those were their most popular ones and size.Then I went back a week or so later to see if I could get a different lady out front and I did.... She sold me all the earrings that they had in stock and she told me that she would be ordering more sometime that coming week!!!After that visit, I was very satisfied with my service!!!

My partner and I both feel super lucky to have found 2ton. Its affordable, kind artists/piercers/staff, very clean, and they have fun promotions for holidays and a You Get What You Get machine.I got multiple piercings (face and body) that are all healing wonderfully. Emma did all of them and made sure to talk me through everything even though Im more metal than human at this point.My partner and I got coordinating tattoos and 2ton was very helpful, gave us a good estimate, and proceeded to help keep my partner conscious once the needle came out 😂 Larry was great about answering questions and K. Holt (didnt catch her first name) was incredible as well.Their aftercare products are also great, though I would personally say the big tube of After Ink is a bit pricey (personal opinion, but they sell small packets so its not your only option either!). The H2O piercing aftercare spray is my favorite Ive ever tried!If youre looking to get something permanent on your body, this is a pretty good place to do it. Theyre more than fair on pricing and everyone Ive met in there has been infinitely patient and kind. 10/10, probably going to get stabbed again :)

I work mainly with Justin Harless, guy is the best. Half of my body is tatted by him. He is a hell of an artist and has an awesome imagination and ability to be creative when you’re unsure of what you want. Total professional and mainly does American traditional but I think he can do it all.

Was super professional and super clean and amazing staff! They did awesome with my piercing and talked me through the whole thing. Made sure that I was hydrated and super comfortable before continuing! If I could I would def give 11/10!

Ive had many appointments with justin harless. From my very first to my most recent he had acted as if he has known me my whole life, has always made me super comfortable and has done the best work in kingsport. Blackwork, color doesnt matter hes the man to go to.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Piercer was very thorough and all equipment and jewelry was sterile. Ear piercing was fast and placed perfectly. Highly knowledgeable staff and provided excellent education on how to care for the piercing. Will definitely return for any further piercings in the future.

Walked in was greeted with nothing but attitude. Seemed like it was a issue we were walking in looking to get a simple tattoo.

I took my 14 year old daughter here to get her first piercing. She was wanting a nose ring. We arrived and didnt have to wait but just for a couple minutes for them to get all the equipment set up and then she got called over. The person doing it let her draw 3-4 dots on her nose to get it just perfect since my daughter does were glasses. And, boom. It was finished. That one tear fell (average nose piercing) and my daughter was in awe. She had been wanting it done for about a year so she was very happy she got it. The workers were great, easy, and told her in detail on how to clean it and take care of it while its healing. We got some spray for her to use to disinfect it there also. Great atmosphere, kind staff, great with kiddos, clean and sterile. Would highly recommend.

My moms tattoo was awesome I was supposed to get the same thing she got that day we were there its almost a year later and I went and got mine just the same as hers..

I want a tattoo on my hand of a tiger and rosé mixed, but he said it would not look good, even though it was a picture of it on someone’s hand. So I got a rose. He didn’t put the blue in it like I wanted, but it is beautiful and I like it. I’m going to get it fixed when I get it touched up. I’d go back for sure.

I got my tongue piercing redone for the third time, and let me tell you, the staff made it super simple and is pain-free as it could be. I have nothing but good things to say about them.

This place sucks. The employees are rude and pretentious and their prices are exorbitant. I paid $50 for an ear piercing which is utterly ridiculous. I definitely wont be back.

My brother and I made an appointment and took a day off of work all for them to tell us they didn’t have time to tattoo us. We didn’t want anything big and I called beforehand. We drove over an hour so I had to call around to other places. The two women that were there were also extremely rude especially the one with black hair. Awful experience.

Took daughter into get couple ear piercing . The lady was so fast by the time I thought she did 2 she had 3 and was done .😲 . Not sure her name but shes the blonde. She did my daughters nose piercing real gentle . Guess thats why my daughter has me drive almost an hour. Check them out they have been awesome.

I have really enjoyed all of my experiences here and will continue to return. Im OCD and a complete germophobe so I would not have allowed them to do anything for me if I was not satisfied with the cleanliness and competence of the place or the artists and staff. In my opinion, everyone that I have met here is incredibly friendly and super helpful. I have only had Ashley as an artist but she has done a first rate job and I love working with her. After booking my appointments, I send her my ideas via email and she has them all ready to go when I get there. She listens and offers up fantastic advice when needed. Amazing service, amazing detail and needle work and piercings were professional as well not that I expected less from this place it is truly the best experiences Ive ever had going there except for one artist that didnt follow my wants and needs and ruined color in my piece BUT I refuse to say names as he was a apprentice at the time but name starts with a D.. the rest of the crew and the store itself has came a long way and never disappoints tho and they treat you amazingly even if you are difficult as I have seen while getting work done myself.. makes for good laughs tho as all workers are hilarious and professional no matter what..

At the time of this writing, I have 36 tattoos, 28 of them were done at 2-Ton and owner Robert Jarrett has done 23 of them. I always love visting the shop because the staff is always friendly and its always spotless. Ive had good experiences at other tattoo shops over the years, but nobody has been able to give me the same consistent quality and good vibes present at 2-Ton.

I got my very first tattoo from Justin. He did an amazing job. I showed him what I wanted and he was spot on in his delivery. Everyone I had contact with was really friendly, which was a big help in calming my nerves. I’ll definitely be coming back to this place (to Justin specifically) for any future tattoos.

They was very professional and great! Hope did a amazing job on my tattoo and noticed my blood sugar dropped really low while getting it done she was kind enough to grab me a drink and wash cloth so I could cool down and made sure I was okay before proceeding with the tattoo and checking on me while she finished

I setup an appointment for my 1st tattoo. I show up and no one had heard from the artist. They discovered she was sick and never told me or anyone else. I rescheduled and the day of my appointment my car tear up. They refused to reschedule without charging me another 60 bucks. Kinda hypocritical that the artist can reschedule a same day appointment but I cant without losing my deposit 😕. My wife and I were gonna get a few pieces done there, but not now.

Everyone I know thats gotten a tattoo here has had it messed up. It is clean and the staff is very friendly, but friendliness doesnt make up for a messed up tattoo. The owner however is very nice and runs his business professionally. The atmosphere is very laid back and nice- better than a lot of the other shops Ive been in, and the waiting area/lobby has tons of fun stuff to look at while waiting for your appointment.

2 Ton is always awesome! Great artists, all of them are crazy talented. Ashley did my tattoos today and theyre absolutely perfect, exactly what I wanted! Working with her on a right-side body tattoo involving koi fish and cherry blossom trees. Cant wait!

I absolutely LOVE 2 Ton and my artist who is Justin. I’m always wary of anyone especially when in close contact and skin to skin, but Justin is hands down amazing. He makes you super comfortable and he’s such an easy guy to work with. His art work is AMAZING and he is careful and meticulous which is huge when you’re talking a lifelong commitment. I got my lobes pierced here and for both it was $60, so pretty pricey for ear lobes. Additionally, both of my friends nostril piercings became infected. Piercer was fairly friendly, however. Sanitation was questionable due to the piercer using the same, non-piercing safe marker on both people before piercing the site. No leading tube was used either when piercing the nostril to avoid the other areas.

Had to have. Cheat dermal removed that my body was rejecting and the girl was unbelievable! She got me straight in.. Took 2 mins, told me how to care for it and gave me a cute tye-dye bandaid! 0 pain with the whole thing! Definitely has my permanent business!

I would recommend their piercer, Tiannah, to anyone! She was extremely professional, answered all my questions, and has very positive energy. The whole staff is great! Can’t wait to come back :)

I got my tongue pierced here 6 days ago, the piercer was nice but she seemed new. she pierced my tongue everything was going great until she dropped the ball on the floor than proceeded to try and put another ball in it. THEN she couldn’t get it on so she took the post out, tried to get the other post in and couldn’t. so she RE-PIERCED my tongue again and it was incredibly painful the second time. then proceeded to use a shorter post. and only gave me a discount of 5 dollars. AND due to the short post the top ball sunk in my tongue pretty bad to where i had to change the ball myself to a bigger one. she might’ve had an off day, but still i’d really like if i could get my 20 dollars back for the worst piercing experience of my life.

Very clean,friendly staff,cheap prices! I had my nose pierced and tongue pierced here yesterday and they did a good job! I wish I would of known before being pierced that my tongue ring would be slanted because of veins on the bottom of my tongue before being pierced but aside from that I liked my piercer and the place!

Not very friendly at all. Honestly they barely even spoke to us at all. I took my teenage daughter to get her first piercing and they werent a bit comforting at all! I mean yeah they got the job done but thankfully it was only a nose piercing and not a tattoo or something like that. The piercing is crooked to beat it all and it actually bleed for a couple hours afterwards.I should have just done as I was advised and went to Johnson City. Lesson learned is all I can say.

I went in only for pricing and possibly an appointment but me and my daughter was kicked out, shes 8 and was only in lobby part, its not like we was staying, I was there for scheduling but the lady said no one under 14 could be there and told us to email her and did not even offer a business card or email. She was unprofessional and rude.

Went in to 2 Ton for 6 tats between 4 people. Brad Simon worked with us an did an outstanding job on us all. He worked nonstop from 12 noon until nearly 7p.m. when we were finished. Top notch work and a cool guy all around.

Thats because Joey Finz is the most unprofessional business man I have ever dealt with, he actually cussed a friend of mine out over email when my friend asked him about a tattoo. Also, he rushes through tattoos lines on mine were not even finished had to go to another shop to get it touched up. If you go there ask for somebody besides Joey

I gave 5 stars because Ive seen their work and its amazing but the wait time for a tat is a bit rediculous! They kept telling me they had a walk in person and when to call back or come back but everytime I did that person wasnt there!

I went here by word of mouth only. I checked online and everyone has good along with bad reviews. This one seemed to have decent reviews and the word of mouth review was what convinced me to go there rather than travel all the way to Asheville. I talked to Kierra (I hope thats how you spell her name) on the phone the night before I went and she was wonderful with all my questions and very nice. Being a female myself who is afraid of needles, this was a welcoming conversation for me who was already too intimidated to go to another place locally. I went in the next day with a friend and Kierra was very nice and allowed my friend to stand on the side where she could hold my hand. This was a very accommodating place and my piercer was super patient with me when I was hesitant to continue with the second piercing. She never rushed me. She kept a calm tone the whole time and made the atmosphere lighter. She answered all of my questions, was quite informative, and Im pleased enough to bring my daughter here for her navel piercing. The only thing I would say is to ask a TON of questions and then also watch videos or read articles online to make sure not to forget about the cleaning process afterward. I learned a few more things by doing this as to how to keep it clean, etc. and I was a bit distracted at the time of the piercing to retain it all. And, most of all, Im so glad I didnt have to drive all the way to Asheville to find a quality piercer.

Great shop!!! Went there with my son to get his newest tattoo!! Awesome kick ass work!!! And not to pricey either!! Very reasonable!!! The guy did a great job and it only took him around a hour or less!!!! My son goes there for all his!!

Honestly, the only reason I am giving this any stars is because the price was reasonable. I have some writing done on my arm while in the area for work. Some major fading occurred, so I scheduled a touch up (if happens). The the exact same issue occurred two weeks later. They were less than helpful fixing the novice work they did on my arm. I had to schedule a better tattoo artist to fix the tsttoo. Literally the worst tattoo I have ever had done.

Tldr: dont get pierced here; bad hygeine; bad jewelry; bad placementUsed same SHARPIE ON EVERYONE!! 🤮 (Please use ink and toothpicks instead) Jewelry for me and my friends nostril was too short and low quality, leading to us both getting bumps. We got nostril piercings here and at a place in Johnson city, due to them not doing both nostrils in the same day (they said this because of keloiding and bumps but its really just the quality of jewelry, length, and angle, we also use saline for all our piercings so its not our aftercare). They also pierced my friends nostril way too far back. The jewelry from the other shop is longer, better quality neither of us have bumps on our right nostril. They also dont even put anything in your nose to insure they dont bump your septum or other nose piercings unlike the JC shop that uses a receiving tube.

Me and my black friends just came into this shop, they questioned my black friends white mom if they were her biological children but never asked my white friends mom (who is white) if she was her biological child. They told us that they wouldn’t take my black friends moms drivers license or ID but nowhere on their website was that mentioned that adopted children had to have a copy of a birth certificate in hand the day that you want to get pierced. These people are racist, and Questioning the custody that She has over her children is terrible. So please I ask DO NOT take your child in here to get pierced or tatted by these terrible racist people.

The staff is always polite and friendly. The facility is always clean and neat. This is always my go to for piercings and tattoos

The building was well kept & clean. We didnt have an appointment but our wait time was only 10 minutes. Everyone was nice & helpful. We will definitely have several return visits.

I have had issues out of each piercing I had done here. My rook was pierced way too deep and I had to take it out after a week because I was in so much pain. Then when changing my other piercings jewely out she was pretty rough and made my piercings bleed.

Went to get my belly button pierced and instead got my belly pierced. They pierced ABOVE my belly button and it wasnt even in the center....called them the next day asking for a refund, they wouldnt give it to me because thats how they pierce belly buttons horrible experience, dont recommend going there. S/O to House of Ink for repiercing it and doing a great job (:

I got my belly button pierced here and it was very crooked and they didnt pierce enough skin. i also got my 2nd lobe piercing and they were uneven. never had problem with tattoos though

I have had my belly button pierced here, and they did a mediocore job. The price was too much for the job that they did. I went in tonight with my friend and her little sister. They wouldnt let her sister, 13 years of age, get her ears pierced. My friend, being 19, is her legal guardian and they told her that they had to have a mom or dad to sign for them. This place is a joke, do not recommend.

NEVER GET A PIERCING HERE. I had my bellybutton pierced here a few days ago and I had to take it out today because it was EXTREMELY infected. I knew that she pierced too much skin as soon as I looked at it. It was even crooked. She left no room for swelling, so the balls were literally embedded into my skin. I kept it clean, did everything I was supposed to. She did not pierce it correctly whatsoever.

Was alright , went to check on some tattoos . Staff was really nice and awesome . Just didnt seem to be very helpful in helping us choose a style. Just didnt seem very responsive to our questions.
