Ink-a-zoid Tattoos & Piercings

Scott is amazeballs! Hes done all of my work, except one. He admitted to me that he doesnt do well with dainty art, so he referred me to Zoe in his shop, and she 100% did me right. The feel of the shop at my last appointment felt like everyone was family there. I travel from out of state to get my work done here, and will until the end. Adore the shop and love the artists. Thanks, Scott, Zoe, & Ink-A-Zoid, for everything ❤️

I got my daith and standard helix done here. 2 different visits, 2 different piercers. Both experiences were so pleasant! Very clean, welcoming, and made sure that I was getting a piercing on the exact place I wanted it to be. Both piercers were willing to mark my ear as many times as I wanted. 10/10 recommend!

Everyone was super nice even tho they were packed for a Friday the 13th flash sale. My artist was great!I would definitely go back!

The whole shop is an amazing atmosphere. They all kid and cut up like they are actually family and they welcome everyone with open arms (well those who are respectful) who enter their shop. I will be back for more ink therapy just because when I’m there I’m treated like I’m part of the shop’s family and that’s what customers want. I went to inkazoid back on Mother’s day 2023 and got a flash special! i also had a custom piece done, and while both tattoos are smaller, the apprentice banged it out and did an amazing job! solid line work! i’d definitely visit again. chill atmosphere, everyone was super friendly!

Brad is amazing! Walked in & left with a beautiful tribute piece for my dad and deceased bf & 2 tattoos for my mama and sister. Everyone was extremely friendly & welcoming. Brad paid attention to detail & made sure we were all happy with his work. I’d recommend this shop a million times over!

Scott did a fantastic job on a raven tattoo I have been wanting to get for a long time. So glad I chose him to do it, I get lots of compliments on it. Everyone at the shop was very nice and accommodating. Will visit again and if youre considering a tattoo definitely give them a call, highly recommend.

Got one of my favorite tattoos here! It was done as a cover up from an old one I needed to get rid of. Can’t remember who did it tbh, but he was amazing and funny too!I still need to come back to get him to touch it up!

Scott and crew are awesome. Very happy with the work I got done. Cant wait for my next trip.Update: 2nd trip was for the wife. She got our daughters name in a ribbon on a heart and a rose. For her 1st tattoo and Scott not only did an awesome job with the piece but was awesome with her and how he kept checking with her too. 5 stars all the way. Scott finished my classic VW beetle for me on my hip. Did a great job and worked me in the same day that I called. Was very professional and fun to talk to while getting my tattoo done. The shop is small, but what does that matter. They do great work in my opinion. Of course, everyone has their own opinions but I would recommend Inkazoid to anyone looking to get a well executed tattoo at a reasonable price. They also now have Darby Pain piercing for them. I have been pierced by him numerous time (tongue, nape, nose, eyebrow). All of my piercings healed up nicely without infection. Definitely check them out!!

Scott was absolutely amazing! He did a beautiful Pheonix tattoo and fast! It was my first tattoo and he explained everything to me and checked in with me frequently. Scott does amazing work. My husband and I both have multiple pieces from Inkazoid. Scott does amazing color work especially of you are looking for comic tattoos. I love that he pours back into new artists through apprentices too! Cool shop, fun atmosphere and great artists!

I’ve been to Scott five times in the past few years. Every single experience has been great. He doesn’t rush you on anything, triple checks that that’s the tattoo you want and knocks it out of the park every time. The ink is heavy and none of my tats have faded at all. He’s also a master at cover ups. He will do you right every time.

I paid 400 for a tattoo and plp ask me what is it? I think for what I paid plp should know what it is! Its supposed to be a skull between 2 roses I love the flowers not happy with the skull

I have had two tattoos so far this year both with Zoe, she is amazing. She calms all anxiety, gives great customer service, and does amazing work. She brought my idea to life and that should be every artists goal!!! I will definitely be back ❤️

Went in as a walk in to get a simple tattoo of hedgehogs, for my babies. Wasn’t disappointed. Ended up getting another small tattoo as well since they were both small and there is a minimum $$ amount. Definitely happy, and will be going back soon!

Zoe is absolutely amazing. She had done so many of my pieces, and I am in love with every single one. She ensures her clients are comfortable and have what they need, that they love the artwork, and that everything is a wonderful experience. All of the artists and staff are amazing, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place.

I had a 5 hour drive to come to this shop and get my very first tattoo done by Zoe. It is everything I imagined and I am in love with it. Had previous work done here. Today I went in and spoke with Brad about my ideas for a memorial tattoo for my dad and he guided me back to the original design I wanted instead of what I wanted to settle for. Working on the design and cant wait for him to do my work. Awesome guy. Yo

Troy did my first tattoo and second one the below picture is my second tattoo I would definitely recommend him he has soft hands and he will work with you the setting is clean and relaxing when you get your tattoo

Most of this reviews will be on people who have already gotten tattoos here. But I’d like to make a review as an”plus one”! My boyfriend since we have moved up here only goes here and every time I go with him they always make sure I feel just as included. They pull out chairs for me to sit and ask if I need anything. They also keep conversations with me going so I don’t feel awkward just sitting there. As I’m planning for my own sleeve I already know where I’ll be and can’t wait to work done my their amazing team.

Best place around Kingsport to get some Ink done No doubt! Prices are fair and the art is amazing! Shout out to Mr. R who did all mine! 5 stars

I am truly so blown away by this place! Environment is great, the shop is super clean & the staff is friendly. Went in to get a price for a tattoo & left with the beautiful piece in the same day. I showed Jason a picture & he got to work drawing it up and even changed a few pieces to make it unique. He also recommended shading part of it and it added so much character and depth to the tattoo! I will be back again to see Jason for my next tattoo. (Not to mention I have low pain tolerance so he gave me lidocaine and talked to me while tattooing)!! The best experience truly.

Ive gotten 3 tattoos here before and the artist I go to is Zoe. She is impeccable at making you feel comfortable while you are in her chair. This is a great place to come for tattoos and all the work is incredible!

Staff is always very friendly. Ive been a couple times to see Zoe and shes AMAZING!!! The other artists create beautiful masterpieces also. The shop is always extremely clean and tidy.

Scott has been my tattoo artist for the last several years, and I love every piece hes done for me. Hes VERY clean, which is super super important to me. Hes also a great artist who listens to what his clients want, even if it means making revisions to his designs. His tattoo specials are absolutely awesome, too! I go with my spouse and friends frequently to get his Friday the 13th specials, which are great and crazy affordable.What really keeps us coming back is Scott himself, who is a fun and engaging guy. We have the best conversations while he works, and hes very thoughtful of his customers.

Had a great experience with Brad. He did a large 2 day process and was light handed. It was a full color piece and pretty detailed! Pretty happy about it, will be back again!

Well I found this place on line called ink-a-zoid me and my son made plans for a father and son tattoo before he went into the airforce so he went and got his done due to my job it took me a lot longer to get mine and I showed them the tattoo he got and the artist there by the name of Kenny matched it perfectly to the t I just wanted to say thanks to ink a zoid for a very impressive job I would most definitely recommend them to anyone who wants new ink or cover ups thanks ink a zoid

I’d heard wonderful things about this shop from some friends but had never been myself until now. I was a walk-in there to get a small but super meaningful (to me) tattoo. My paper crane is quite sincerely a wish come true!! Everyone here was super nice and I felt welcome immediately.I am immensely pleased with my experience and hope to return for more work in the future. :)

My wife and I have been coming here regularly for more than 2 years, now. In my observations during this time, I can say all the artists and apprentices are extremely talented, and professional. The studio is very clean, and well maintained. The work Ive had done on my sleeve gets daily compliments. I cant say enough good things about the Ink-a-zoid crew. As a side note, Scott is a real cutie.

I love going to Ink-a-zoid, not only is the staff hilarious but they maintain a level of professionalism that is essential for this sort of establishment. A previous artist did a poorly done tattoo on me, they fired him, so i reached out to Scott the owner and he offered to fix it for free without any trouble! Great work and great customer service.

I love Ink-a-zoid! I have been going to Scott for over 12 years, even before he opened Ink-a-zoid. I have nothing but good things to say about him. He does excellent work. I am sure the rest of the artist there are amazing as well, but I am loyal to Scott. And the front desk worker Heather is so friendly as well. Just all around great shop!

Spontaneously wanted to go get my first tattoo late on a Saturday night, luckily this place supports walk-ins and are also open till 11! Got a bull and constellation on my right shoulder blade by brad. Brad is a really great dude and makes you feel welcomed! Would definitely recommend! Price was a bit more than what I wanted to pay, but the quality of the tattoo and environment of the parlor makes it 100% worth it!!!! 10/10 on cleanliness as well!!!

Scott did a simple toe ring for me and my best friend. He also touched up another tat I had by a different artist. Scott has done all of my best friends tattoos and even the 10+ year old tats are still vibrant and barely faded. My toe ring is in excellent shape too, despite being on my toes and 4 years old.

All the artists do great work! I was tattooed by Zoe! And she is THE BEST!!! Everyone I spoke to was very nice and welcoming!

I was tatted by an apprentice of 6 months named Kristen. She did excellent work and they are definitely worth going to. The owner has the dopest room with comics, figurines, and art plastered all over the walls. They go above and beyond. While it is Cash Only, they have an ATM located inside. 11/10 I plan on returning soon.

This is a re- review! Originally I had given this wonderful place of establishment a negative review due to a really bad experience but the owner Scott really opened up my eyes at what the true issue was and that was a past employee who is no longer employed at there parlor. Roger was a horrible tattoo artist and I took my review out on there company as a whole and I am truly sorry for that. But like I said Scott really opened up my eyes at what a jam this little parlor truly is! Scott is a fabulous tattoo artist with lots of talent and a very creative eye! He repaired Rogers screw up and turned it into something truly beautiful! I am extremely satisfied and will definitely be returning for my my next tattoo!

I went in to have a rose on my thumb worked on my husband and I got there pretty late. Scott stayed until 1am working on a few things we wanted. The rose on my thumb other artist said they would not touch and that it couldnt be fixed. I told Scott just to make it pretty.. and he did just that.. I love it.. thank you 😊

I have been wanting a new tattoo for a while and I knew what I wanted but just needed some additional guidance and Scott was there to advise me on color, size and placement and I couldnt be happier. We chatted and laughed the entire time and before I knew it he was done. I do hope to work with him on a cover-up in the future. Go see them and get it done right the first time. So, unlike me you will not be in need of a bad ink cover-up.

I have gotten a lot of work done here this last year. Paul is my artist and he does great work. The shop is clean and has a relaxed vibe. Id recommend for anybody in this area.

I have a few piercings from this place (when they where doing as they are no longer doing them sadly) and I LOVE them! I have my tragus done which I got done in 2015 and then I got my daith done in 2017. The piercer that did my daith was so kind and helpful. I went in with a migraine that I had had going on five days and explained that I get them quite a lot. He made me feel very comfortable ane walked me through everything and tried to make as little noise as possible. I am very impressed with the shop, the people that work there and just the chill atmosphere. 10/10 recommend this shop to anyone looking to great work done by either Scott or Brad.

This is the first time my boyfriend and I went here. My boyfriends tatt turned out Awesome and Scott did great! Roger did mine and wasnt so mindful of what i wanted, all my suggestions were rejected. I still went with one that I liked but not what I went for. At first I praised him for his good work, but I was also aware of how much pressure he used considering Ive had many tattoos before and done a few myself. Over the next few days my tattoo was raised and rough looking and just wasnt what a normal new tattoo should be like. A and D ointment turned it gooey and when I washed it ink with pieces of skin rubbed right off. I know how to take care of tattoos, this is a mistake by the artist! Thats the best I can describe it. Im not happy with the outcome and wouldnt recommend roger. I apologize and dont mean to sound mean, but i want people to be aware of this.

Recording gives false information, if you get lucky enough to get someone to answer the phone maybe you can get an appointment… I make a rule to avoid businesses like this that attempt to do as little work as possible. Many other great places to get tattoos in tri cities to waste time on this one!

Went in lastnight with an idea and Brad twisted my thoughts abit, in an hour I was getting inked up and came out with some great art! Great clean place, 2 lil ladies telling stories during breaks and Brad giving me great stories for a few hours while doing what he loves. I went for a cute tattoo of a doodled kitten face. After talking to Roger about getting it tatted a certain size, he told me he could not do that so I settled on a slightly larger size tattoo than I originally wanted. This was the first tattoo I have ever gotten, so I was nervous and figured he knew what was best. Roger did mine first then my friend’s and applied lots of pressure and made the lines very jagged and out of the preprinted lines. I started to freak out but kept quiet because my friend trusted him. He kept trying to keep conversation with me so I would not see the mistakes he was making. After he was done I had to hold back tears as I panicked after seeing the permanent mess he had made. After an overly long process of healing, my tattoo is super thick and not at all what I wanted. I would not recommend Roger.

Scott has done almost all my tattoo work through the years with no issues EVER. Due to my proper care of the work, Ive never even had to have a touch-up done.

Made an appointment a few days ago for a simple tattoo, just a date in Roman numerals. I gave Paul $40 and even have the card with the appointment details on it. I even gave a deposit of $40. I have been waiting in the parking lot for an hour now and the store is STILL closed. If I am not worth the time to be tattooed, my money shouldnt be good enough for the shop either. They had no issue taking the deposit but it is currently 3:18 and still no call from the shop or Paul letting me know why I was blown off. At 30 minutes I was a little frustrated but willing to still be tattooed. But now I just want my money back so I can go somewhere that will actually value my time and business.

Scott is, by far, one of the best tattoo artists in the area, and definitely the best cover-up/re-work tattoo artist in the tri-cities. Ive been tattooed here several times now, and I always have an excellent, clean, and totally comfortable time. Scott makes you feel at home, and Ive loved every single experience! They bent the bar on my nose piercing so high it didnt have room to swell and the bend was stuck inside my skin so it couldnt heal. Then they completely butchered my sternum piercing and told me theyd put in a longer bar to fix it but ended up repiercing it without telling me. And messed it up again. I paid $60 for pain and scars. But when I called them, it was all my fault and all Michael did was yell and repeatedly call back.

Wonderful place to get some great ink. Got a tattoo on my calf and the line work and coloring were absolutely fantastic. Staff are extremely polite.

I had a wonderful experience at inkazoid tattoos I had an old green parrotfrom the 80s and Brad covered it with a beautiful butterfly that realistically look like it was ready to fly away the colors were brilliant purple and pin. Im going to get more tattoos and they will all be from Ink-a-zoid.

Me and my best friend came in and got these done a few months ago by a lady not sure her name but we was happy at first but after we looked at them they are not that great. Line work is off and jist look awful.we are disappointed cause we really loved coming into the shop for our 1st time I just wish we had something to he proud off .
