Big O Tattoo

Had a sitting with Derek for a tiger done in the Japanese style. Im absolutely thrilled with the results. The shading on the color was amazing and the rest of the details are stunning. 10 out of 10, highly recommend.

So I saw a review talking about inconsistent jewelry pricing, and shrugged it off as another idiot who wasnt paying attention. However I went in once- purchased a nose stud from one person and said Id come back with more money to get a matching one on the other side. Half an hour later, I was quoted a completely different price for the exact same stud. It seemed as though the receptionist/girl paid to sit on her phone did give a wink wink to the piercer since I mentioned I was changing jewelry for my wedding. We were happy to pay for good jewelry for a special occasion, we werent happy with the price gouging in the span of 30 minutes. Too bad theyre untrustworthy, seemed like nice people. Also- they will tell you their jewelry is white gold. White gold does not tarnish. Nice try :)

Travis did an amazing job on my tattoo and the staff was friendly and got me in super easily, they also adjusted to having to cancel one of our appointments with no issues. We drive almost 2 hours and it was definitely worth it!

My brother and I were in Lincoln on a wim decided to get matching tattoos. Andrew was our artist and he did fantastic. It was my brothers first tattoo and he put our minds at ease and we love the final product. This is where I will I get all my future tattoos.

Walked in for a consult, and was asked to make an appointment. The gal who took initial information and answered my questions was kind, relatable, and thorough. A month later when I came back to the appointment with the artist, he just asked for the reference pictures, told me to think about it for a few months, and brushed me off. The thing I wanted to do would require some planning, and he refused to mock up a stenciled or anything ahead of time. I waited a month for a consult only to be told to act like its a walk-in, but later. I even offered a deposit. I have never had to work so hard to be sold something. I guess I have to look elsewhere. Such a shame.

My boyfriend wanted to get a tattoo done on Sunday March 10. He initially wanted to get it done at another shop but they didn’t have any walk-ins so I contacted Big O and they got him in, he sat with Derek and he was done very fast. We will both be going to Derek in the future for tattoos

Second time I’ve been here . Got my very first tattoo here years ago. Came again for jewelry for piercings . They were very helpful and knowledgeable but the pieces were expensive !

I really had a great experience there. I love my tattoo going back very soon to get more. I truly recommend anybody that you go to will give you great service in there at a very high level. Just wanted to say thank you once again.

They keep deleting this review.. they pierced my belly button a few years ago and used such a small bar that when it swelled, the piercing hole swallowed the jewelry.. every week following, less and less skin on the bar to the point where if i left it in another day it would have LITERALLY ripped my skin in half and fell out. now i have a permanent scar that looks awful and no jewelry in it.. im going to Iron Brush now after 3 years of healing to let them re-pierce it for me THE RIGHT WAY. don’t go here.. they don’t know what they’re doing.

He is amazing, the best customer service Ive had at a tattoo shop, he gave me options instead of trying to just sell me jewelry and get me out the door fast as possible... which made me even more interested in buying from this place! I came in one night about a month ago with a friend. We wanted matching tattoos of a duck with a cowboy hat. It was a last-minute walk-in at like 6 and they got us in super quick at 7ish. Now that it’s all healed, I thought I’d just write a review. It healed amazing and looks amazing. I have a couple other tattoos from a couple different places and this one might be my favorite even though it’s so simple. Our artist was super nice and charged us less than what we were quoted, which was great. I’m moving to Oregon in about 20 days but I’d absolutely go to this place anytime.

The wait wasnt long. The people were nice. It was clean and everything was very professional. The cost was reasonable and I love my tattoo. They took a drawing I brought in and were able to shrink it down for me. I had Derek work on my ankle, he was amazing!

I’ve had several tattoos done here by various artists over the years and I’m always pleased with the quality of the work and professionalism of the shop! Most recently I’ve had original designs I’ve drawn done by Mark and Andrew and they were wonderful at completing my vision!

I had a really great session and at a fraction of the cost iron brush quoted me! I 100% recommend this shop they made me feel comfortable and the guy even distracted me through conversation while I got my first tattoo on my ribs (painful!!) lol! everyone is so friendly, the prices are super reasonable, and the guy I saw has been doing it close to 30 years if I remember right so he knows his stuff! I was also allowed to watch my boyfriends tattoo session the day before to get an idea of what it would be like! They were very professional and didn’t even comment on my constant squirming and face scrunching😂. The tattoo looks really good exactly how I wanted it and I watch him take every tool out of a sealed steril bag!

I got most of my work done by Travis who during one of the sessions admitted to me that he gets high on the job and drunk all the time which didnt make me feel comfortable getting work done in the first place.Derek and BJ and are all great tattoo artist. Id stay away, awful experience Ill never go back. And Im left with an unfinished forearm over some disagreements between Travis and I. I would take my business anywhere else

I just went in tonight to get my nose pierced, Mark did a fantastic job! I went in about 40 minutes before closing and he was able to fit me in before they closed. He made the whole process really easy! The piercing looks great and Ill definitely be back

I previously got my cartilage pierced (with bad results) at another place in town, and had to take it out when it didnt heal and continued to give me pain after several months. After talking to Matt about my concerns with trying again, I was impressed with how friendly and knowledgeable he was about piercings, and decided to go for it. My new cartilage piercing was pain-free within 24 hrs, has not gotten inflamed or infected, and looks amazing. I fully recommend him for your piercing needs!

This was our 3rd attempt to use this business and they were rude every time. Got my daughters ears pierced after jumping all the hoops and when I tried to get replacement jewelry the woman refused to sell it. Never going back again

Let me start by saying TRAVIS IS THE MAN🤙🏻!!! Stumbled into this shop yesterday after I had got blown off for the millionth time by Ty Smith. (Which I will now have big o finish a piece that ty smith won’t) The team was quick to help and super friendly. Travis was my artist and he did absolutely way more than I was expecting. I love my new piece and the line work is beautiful. Nice thick straight lines! I will be coming back for many many more years to come. Treat your customers right and you will see a return! Respect the hell out of these guys!

I got my very first tattoo here a few months ago and it was the best experience I could’ve imagined! I can’t remember the artist, maybe Derek? Anyways, he was amazing! He made sure I felt comfortable and showed me how it looked when the needle would be going into my arm. He made conversation the whole time as well! I made the mistake of getting my next tattoo somewhere else in lincoln (will not say where) and now I will be going back to Big O to get it fixed! My experience with Big O was amazing!

Love this place! Called in soon after they opened to see if I could do a walk-in tattoo. They told me to come in the shop to talk type of tattoo, location, etc. Lizz was able to fit me into her schedule that same day in a matter of an hour and knocked out an awesome little corn tattoo I had in mind. Fun atmosphere (which makes getting a tattoo less nerve-wracking for some)! Awesome results and a fair quote as well-thanks Lizz!!

I recently got an incredibly precise tattoo done by Lizz, and it is absolutely PERFECT. Not only did she take her time in drawing up this insane design, but the way she aligned the placement, looked it over, and just wanting it to be right is WHY I choose Big O Tattoo! My daughter wanted a second ear piercing. We worked with Matt who was very friendly and professional. He did a great job of putting her at ease while explaining the entire process. Very clean and excellent procedures.

Mark and Matt are very professional and kind during the piercing process. Big O is the only place I want my teenage daughter to go to, because of the sterile techniques they use and quality of their products. This February, Mark did a nice job putting in my forward helix. He answered all my questions, taking his time to explain each step, as well as after care. Plus,Their products have ZERO reactions to our sensitive ears, well worth paying more for.

I came in at 1pm on a Monday for a walk in and Travis got me in right away. I was suprised at the sizing he had in mind given the price he quoted me. I was throughly impressed. Professional and clean. Great quality work and all the staff in the shop made me feel very comfortable. Pricing was legit. Will definitely be returning for future ink!

Unfortunately my tattoo didn’t turn out how I wanted it at all, some parts are very heavy handed and raised, and overall very harsh and heavy. On the stem, there is a break in the line and it’s patchy. This tattoo is only 2 years old. I wanted a dainty rose and this is anything but dainty. A tattoo artist right when you walk in on the right hand side as the one who did it, he said it would turn out the way I want to after he got done shaving it in, and I trusted him…It’s unfortunate I paid around $100 for this small tattoo that I hated the moment it was finished. I am currently in the process of laser removal :/ The staff is very friendly and the man who did my tattoo was very great but I just don’t think dainty floral designs are his specialty. I will take accountability for not researching further into a tattoo artists who would be able to give me the result I desired. However, it will be nice not to have a tattoo on my hand at all, on the bright side :)

Best place. BJ is the man. Go to him for the best tats. Mark was a good guy too. Will get my piercings here.Got both of my Tragus piercings done here! Hurt for the second the needle went in, but after, nothing. A little itching from healing, but that’s normal. So happy with Matt and Mark

Incredibly friendly atmosphere. I took my daughter to get her nose pierced and she forgot her ID. They accommodated our schedule after we ran back to get it. EVERYONE there was incredibly outgoing and relaxed. Id recommend this place to anyone.

I made an appointment with Derek for a tattoo. I was nervous since it was my first and on a very visible area. It turns out that having someone skilled is important but equally important is someone who was understanding. I lost the number of times Derek made adjustments to the drawing, and I felt bad. At one point I even thought, I should just pay for his time and leave. But Derek didnt seem to think anything of it and kept listening and making adjustments accordingly. I ended up with a tattoo that I truly love. Thank you Derek!

I love this place! I havent had any tattoo work done here.....yet, but hopefully I will in the coming months. My younger sister has had some gorgeous tattoo work done here and Ive personally seen some amazing work done. My family and myself have had quite a bit of piercings done here and have loved all that we have had done. Ive had piercings done by both Matt and Mark (thats both of their piercing guys). They are great guys with funny personalities who make you feel very at ease. They are very informative and make sure you know exactly how to care for your piercings. One of my piercings (my orbital) got infected while healing through no fault of my own or theirs. The reason it got infected is because I have a sweet dog whom I love so very much who refuses to sleep anywhere but in bed with me. It takes longer for a cartilage piercing to heal due to there being less blood in those areas (just an FYI). When I had awaken one morning after having had my piercing for a few months and noticed that it was really swollen I thought maybe it had something to do with my sleep apnea mask. Maybe it had been too tight or mabe it moved and cut off blood flow or something. I gave it a day to see if the swelling would go down. I kept cleaning it like I was supposed it and actually added extra cleanings to see if that would help. Next morning it was worse, I called the shop and spoke with Mark who had done that particular piercing and told him what was going on. He asked me if I had a dog who sleeps with me, I said yes he refuses to sleep anywhere else. He said that it sounds like it may just need to ne cleaned. I went in and he took the back off and cleaned it. I was shocked when he showed me that he had found 3 small dog hairs! He put a longer back on to give the swelling some room (it cost me all of $15). Within days my ear was back to normal. They guys here REALLY know their stuff! As long as you do as they tell you and you dont wait when you see theres a problem or issue they can usually fix it. Its when people wait for LONG periods of time and dont do as theyre told that these wonderful guys cant help. I always recommend Big O Tattoo to any and everyone to asks me where they should go for tattoos and piercings. There usually isnt hardly much of a wait for piercings but when it comes to scheduling for tattoos the artists can get pretty busy but they are well worth the wait!

10/10 would recommend. Travis did an amazing job with my tattoo! I walked in with a concept, and he delivered tenfold. I am in love with it, and he paid close attention to detailing!

Extremely clean and very friendly! You can tell they know what theyre doing, are very educated on how to pierce properly, and how to be clean in every aspect of it. Also with top of the line jewelry. Im very picky with this stuff and would highly recommend!

Honestly I always heard such great things from them. And Ive seen great work from them but I spent over 200 dollars for this? Its something thats permanent on me but everytime I look at it I hate it. Now I have to go back to another shop and get this fixed. I wont be using them again. I am upset that this happened. Not all there artists are like this Im sure but the one I had was just not it.

I stopped in while visiting from out of town for a small tattoo Id been wanting. The artist, BJ, was nice and squeezed me in at the end of the night even though he had to stay late to do it. He has quite a few awards/trophies for his work. The receptionist was also very nice. The place is clean. I would recommend Big Os for your next tattoo and I would definitely go back for future work if I lived in Lincoln.

Do not come here this is the worst tattoo place Ive ever been to the owner will not let you contribute on the drawing argue your vision for your own tattoo and is completely rude again this is the worst tattoo place Ive ever been to and I have over 10 tattoos every one of them the artist worked with me on my tattoo !!Big O tattoo is awful!! On top of the rude personnel (Owner), they scheduled me for a tattoo did not have the time to complete it had me come in on another day and I could not make it they kept my deposit. Do not give this place your money. You will just have the money stolen from you!!

I when in to Big Os not sure what to expect. But all i can say is just WOW the shop is so beautiful. The art and tattoo pictures on the walls are just so amazing. So Im already blown away with the shop and then i start talking to the guys. They are so kind and knowledgeable, the put up with all my questions. (I hate to admit it but i didnt do any of my own research) I wanted to get a Jacobs ladder done, six of them to be exact. And the were down to make it happen. Ive always to get this piercing and it was the fist one Ive ever done. So i order the jewelry and wait what seems like forever for them to get in (not the shops fault btw) and then the day came.I was so excited, i got in and layed down. My piercer was very verbal and nothing was a surprise or unexpected. He told me when he was gonna clamp and when the needle was going to go through. Now for the record i was ready for it to hurt, but i was not ready for it to hurt THAT much. And im embarrassed but i straight up kicked my guy, mid pierce. And you know what he was so kind and understanding, he supported me and encouraged me. I was roaring all kind of obscenity and the encouragement never stopped. He really blew up my ego and as i came out of the room having the whole shop gave me praise and did make me feel ashamed for having poor pain tolerance. I felt cared about and like a close friend, Not a customer. And if that wasnt enough i have called several times afterwards with questions about aftercare and the dos and donts and each and every time they remember me by name and patiently answer all my questions.So in short, if your a veteran there experience cant be beat, and if youre a newbe then their hearts will make big o tattoos your permanent place.

Truely amazing artists who know what they are doing. I have been to several shops, and I do not recommend anyone go anywhere else. BJ stays pretty booked, but he is so very much worth the wait. I absolutley love my tattoos and I constantly get compliments on it. I have had over 16 hours in BJs chair and every time he is very professional and get more than my moneys worth in beautiful art.

I recently got my nose peirced by matt and he was amazing ! I was a little nervous at first but he talked through everything and made sure i understood every step. Reasonable prices and very sanitary , highly recommended!

Customer service is exceptional. I would recommend this place to get a tattoo a piercing. Or any tattoo lotions or jewelry for any piercing that you may need. Theyre really helpful in getting you whatever you might need tools for your piercings.

Shameful and unprofessional. Had to cancel my appointment due to the death of a client of mine and Big O will not refund me any of my $300 deposit even though I had agreed to a fee due to cancellation even after Ryan had admitted to not having done any preparatory work . Looks like we will be going to court. SMH

Do not get a piercing from them!! Had my septum done and they put on to small of a ring so i had to go back in. When i did i asked for someone else to do it since i didnt want the guy who messed up in the first place to do it and the guy proceeded to yell at me and try and say he told be that if it was uncomfortable to come back in when all he did was say it was to tight. Mind you he also yelled at me saying he had been doing this for years. And if thats the case he should of known it swells so if it was to tight right away it was going to be a problem. Anyways he sat there and yelled at me saying humans make mistakes. So as i was leaving to go get it changed out else where (he said he was the only one who could do it) he yelled saying sorry for being human. Just save your self the time and pain and go somewhere else! I would give no stars if i could!
