Golden Age Body Piercing

Just super friendly people who seem to know their stuff. I had a cartilage piercing that I got from another studio that was getting irritated, and went into Golden Age as a walk-in. The two individuals that helped me were knowledgeable, kind, and got me the relief I needed at a shockingly reasonable cost. I also saw that they have a great selection of jewelry!

Trevor (?) was super nice and accommodating for the ear piercings I came in to get for me and my son. A friend suggested the place; it was a good call. Easy, informative, professional yet easy going…good stuff! Recommended.

I had such a great experience at this shop. At my ripe old age of 41, I decided to get my first piercings (both ear lobes) and everything went so smoothly. All of the staff and my piercer, Tyler, were so friendly and helpful. I could have stayed longer just to chit-chat with everyone about kpop and anime. The place was very clean, organized, and very professional. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

I cannot speak highly enough of Golden Age!! Trevor was my piercer today and they were beyond wonderful, just an absolute gem! They were SO kind and friendly through the whole process! I had my daith and helix done and they made it so much more comfortable and less scary! 10000/10 would recommend!!!

Took my 6yr old to get her ears pierced by Trevor and it was a 10 out of 10 experience.Trevor was patient and gentle. The piercings are perfectly aligned.Thank you Trevor!

I’m not usually so quick to post a review but I just had such a positive, quick experience getting my ears pierced with Tyler today that I just had to leave a review. He was very careful, very friendly, very attentive and open to ideas you may present him. This is my 9th piercing and my best piercing experience so far. Definitely coming back if I get a 10th one ;p

10/10 place is clean and organized, everyone is friendly and helpful. Loved the experience ivy made me feel comfortable and relaxed beginning, middle and end of the piercing. Came back for a down sizing and the lady at the front desk helped. Will come back for another piercing.

Everything about my experience was great! The person at the front counter was super informative, and took the time to show me everything. Once I finally decided, Dee was absolutely amazing with calming my nerves and explaining the process to me. She made me feel so comfortable during the process that I have now had 5 piercings done by her (daith, second lobe piercings, and 2 cartilage). If you’re in the area or have to commute, I totally recommend.

Only wonderful things to say about this shop and staff. Ive been back multiple times for septum, helix, and snonch piercings, but most recently would like to highlight Trevor and their kindness in dealing with an infected piercing that was almost embedded in my cartilage. They were gentle and reassuring the entire time, and I cant thank them enough for their expertise when I was obviously a little uneasy.

I cannot say enough good things about this place and the piercers.I originally found Golden Age when I was looking for a replacement piercing shop for the one I used to go to in Santa Monica, who did end up causing me piercing problems that have lasted over a month now.Anyways, I have been to Golden Age 4 times in total now (yes 4....its insane) 3 of which were working to fix the problem piercing from the other shop. They listened to the problems I was having and always inspected my ear with care and consideration and never charged me. The last time I went, my boyfriend and I each got additional piercings and everything went perfectly. Ive seen Tyler the most and he is great, very easy going and fun to chat with!Ive also been helped by a girl with short blonde hair and bangs and she was also super great when changing out the jewelry when the previous show had put on too short of a post. I cant recall her name, but she is also great!This is deff my go to spot and I cant wait to come back for more piercings!

I had my ears pierced here and it was such a pleasant experience. Trevor was my piercer and I felt so comfortable the entire time- didnt feel a thing. They really make you feel welcome and the entire process is a breeze. I highly recommend visiting this shop- theyre amazing. Ill definitely be coming back for my second ear piercings here.

Wow I had the most positive experience ever with Trevor! My friend and I went to get piercings and he was GENTLE, INFORMATIVE, TRANSPARENT, PATIENT, and funny! I felt he made every effort to help me relax and understand the process. He made great conversation and I can tell he is very experienced. Experience is important, but more than that, kindness and patience matters and Trevor had all of that! Best experience and would highly recommend this studio and Trevor.

My friend got her eyebrow pierced by a dude (forgot his name) and he was sooo cool, comforting, and amazing. He went SO fast that I didn’t even realize he pierced my friend. She said the pain was a 3/10 and it went super fast.The 3/5 stars is because I personally didn’t enjoy my experience. I got my septum pierced with Ivy and she was a nice lady, but I really feel like it could have been less painful and more comforting. She didn’t use clamps so when she pierced my nose she went slow so she didn’t stab anything else which made it hurt more than I think it should have. I asked all my friends who got their septum pierced and they said it went very fast and was a quick pinch. But mine was definitely more than a quick pinch because it wasn’t a quick pierce. Watching videos of other piercers made me think mine was pierced way too slow. And although she was nice, I do wish she was a little more comforting like the other piercer did with my friend. She also doesn’t allow any recording (kinda a red flag now that I think about it). I think she just wasn’t the right fit for me but I’m sure she’s lovely. Still tipped and my total was $81 for a septum which is pricey for a septum so I wish it wasnt regrettable and I had a better experience. Still love this place! Front desk lady is super sweet, the place is clean and aesthetic, all my friends had amazing experiences with the other piercers so you should definitely still come.

10/10 recommend!! Needed some uncomfortable jewelry switched out and found exactly what I needed. Super cute selection of jewelry at a wide range of prices. To top it off, the front desk person (I didn’t ask her name) was super welcoming and helpful, and Trevor (the piercer) was so gentle, kind, and understanding of my situation. Will definitely be going back!

I came in for a consultation for my piercings (that I didn’t get from here) and saw Trevor and he was super nice to me and told me what I might need for my basically infected piercing and he didn’t try to sell me on anything and actually cared about my piercing and the care of it. Which was incredibly nice and I even asked if I needed to buy something to go smaller and he told me to just take care of it first. I’m definitely coming back to get piercings from them in the future!! Genuinely kind people

Everyone working there is so polite and helpful. I had trouble reinserting my corkscrew nose ring that Ive had for 4 years. I had to take it off for an MRI. They put it back in at no charge. They have a beautiful selection of jewelry as well, all reasonably priced. I definitely recommend going there for any peircing.

Trevor was amazing. He took great care in making sure my teen was comfortable and got exactly what she wanted. We will definitely be back!

Came here with my bf, we made an appointment threw the Instagram which is where we found them. The counter person took their time helping me Pick out the perfect piece, and then the piercer explained everything to me. It was quick and painless and I am very happy with my new piercings

Wow. incredibly professional studio. came here to get my firsts gauged, seconds in my lobes, and a helix flat piercing. My piercer, Ivy, was incredible professional and quick. I especially loved how she talked me through everything she was doing so I felt as little anxiety as possible and knew when to expect pain. My appointment was at 3 pm and I arrived right on time. Shouldve gotten there a bit early so I could peruse the jewelry selection beforehand but despite that, the woman at the front was super patient and didnt rush me as I picked jewelry for her to sterilize. I wish they had a slightly larger jewelry selection with cheaper options, but overall I highly recommend this spot and will go back if I need more holes poked in myself!

We had a wonderful experience! This is one of the very few places where kids can have their ears pierced with needles instead of guns! It was easy to book an appointment and they were on time! But what makes me give them 5 STARS is the very respectful and patient attitude everyone had towards my daughter. The piercer was extremely professional and explained to my 5 years old all the steps. They repeated multiple times that she could ask them to stop at any time for any reason. They were not pushy in any way, but encouraging. I deeply appreciated all their efforts to make my daughter feel empowered and respected! Thank you!

I’ve always had a good experience here. I’ve been here multiple times and EVERY time, the workers are chatting me up and I’m walking out the door with a big ol’ stupid grin on my face. They’re all incredibly nice and professional. Highly highly recommend this spot!

Tyler pierced my eyebrow and I was extremely impressed by their professionalism and swiftness! Got this done day of, and the team worked with me to make it work around everyones appointments and schedules! They gave me a clear aftercare expectation, and even after almost a month of healing, I havent had any issues at all.

Took my daughter for her second, third, and helix piercing. As soon as you enter they are very welcoming and super friendly. However super expensive...I was shocked how much they charge. Tyler was the my daughters picerer and again super friendly and outgoing no complaints in that department. For the both second and third piercing with only one helix piercing it was $298.00....yeah! Personally wouldnt come here again...THE PRICES ARE RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE!

I got my Daith, Cartilage and septum done on August 5th by Tyler.Everything is healing up so wonderfully! I tend to reject piercings a lot and Im not having any trouble with these 3! I will be going back for more!Tyler was awesome; friendly, professional and super cool. I recommend this place to anyone!

This place is amazing. It has been officially six days since I got my belly button pierced here by Dom and it is healing beautifully. I have had my belly button pierced twice from back home. This was the FIRST time me going here and they were very knowledgeable about everything. The proper gage I should get and why. Amazing experience. 20/10. It’s women owned and operated. Tyler was absolutely amazing with our three girls for their ear piercing. He talked to them the whole time so they could stay calm. There are not many choices between Claire’s and a tattoo shop so I am so glad I found Golden age. It was super clean and follows all health protocols. They pierce with needles and not a gun and they use earrings that thread through and have a flat back on them. A couple of the moms also got their second holes redone and Tyler accommodated them even though we hadn’t set a separate appointment. I highly recommend this place for your kids- they definitely made the day special. Thank you!!

I first went to golden age about 2ish years ago, and i truly stand by it when I say its the best piercing/body mod shop out there. and Ive been to quite a few.. My Mom and I went to get piercings for my birthday. She got second lobe piercings in both ears and I got a conch piercing. Tyler was so sweet and wonderful. I’ll definitely be going to Tyler and Golden Age for any and all future piercings!

Golden Age is the best piercing shop!! I found them on Google and made an appointment to update jewelry/re-pierce my piercings.The shop is clean and bright. The staff person patiently showed me many combinations and possibilities for my different piercings until I found the ones I loved. After, they put in all the piercings. It was quick and mostly painless, even the holes that I thought were covered up!Definitely an investment, but I’m looking to keep all these in my ears for the next 10 years, so I really want something timeless, unobtrusive, and high quality. Highly recommend!

My fiancé and I got some piercings done for our anniversary. I had Dee and he had Tyler, both piercers were nice and very talkative…which I like because it helps distract the piercing pain. The girls up in the front were also awesome as they were very informative. I will continue to get my piercings done at this place. Fun/ welcoming environment and down to earth people, quick, and painless.

After a friend recommended Golden Age, took my 8 year old daughter to get her ears pierced. We had a great experience. Super clean studio, good selection of jewelry. They communicated with my daughter the entire time letting her know exactly what they were doing and what was going to happen next. As professional as it gets.

I am SO happy I heard about golden age!!I was looking for a place to do my cartilage, and a friend of mine went here so I thought I’d try. It’s super affordable (but also has some nice jewelry options if you so wish), and everyone’s bedside manner is impeccable.On the day I went, my piercer had to cancel but a guest piercer came and they were Amazing (I think their name was Raina?)! I have a fear of needles so they let me bring my friend (who ended up getting an impromptu piercing as well), and the whole process was super smooth. They showed me that the jewelry and needle was sanitized and walked me through the whole thing.I ended up also buying an earring for my helix to fancy it up a bit. Unfortunately it actually broke a week after I bought it, but golden age was AMAZING about it and replaced it for free (which isn’t their fault, to be honest, it’s the manufacturer).They are sanitary, kind, and super professional. I’m definitely coming here for my next piercing.

Dee is the sweetest & so amazing! She pierced my daughters ears yesterday & she was so kind & patient to her needs, helping her with deep breathing because she knew my kiddo was scared. Besides everyone being a sweetheart, its super sanitary & so much cute jewelry to choose from! The location is a little far from home but anytime I need something done this is where Ill come. I came in just to get a piercing changed and I was so floored with how professional, kind, and caring everyone was even for something so simple, I almost went to another shop to do it but didn’t get very good energy from the piercer on the phone, I felt a little silly going somewhere else but I’m so so glad I did. Any future piercings I get will 1000% be from golden age.

I called this shop a while back just to have a piercing that I had from another place looked at..I hit it a couple times & wanted it looked at. I called this shop for that reason and Dee was so sweet! She made time for me and told me to come by and shed check it out for me. I went that same day and her energy was so amazing! She assured me my piercing was ok, then I asked her about another piercing I wanted based on pics Ive seen online & she was extremely honest and gave me her professional opinion and went as far as getting a mirror out to show me why it wouldnt have been a good idea for me with that particular piercing because of the anatomy of my ear. She educated me and explained that some piercings simply dont compliment certain people because of their ear anatomy and I totally agree! Everything isnt for everyone and we should get what compliments our uniqueness. I winded up getting a piercing with her in that visit! (Totally unexpected) and then from there another piercing and I plan on doing more with her in the future! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER! Her piercing-shop etiquette is just unmatched! Honestly thanks Dee!

I stumbled about this shop while visiting a friend in Glendale. We wanted to get a nose piercing they had a bunch of gold options but i ended up doing a titanium gem. I think the owners name was Dee, she was super awesome. Definitely recommend if you need a clean and quality shop.

I came in to get a earring for a old piercing, i made an appointment on the website which was pretty easy. I picked out a black cz they cleaned it up for me and put it in. Parking lot was a bit full but there was street parking real close.
