Jonny is awesome, and his shop is beautiful. This place should have a waiting list!He’s done 2 tattoo’s on me and touched another one up. He’s super clean, patient, meticulous, and knowledgeable. Not to mention a highly skilled artist in my opinion.This place is a must visit if you’re getting a tattoo. I believe the shop minimum is $100, which is well worth it.He will take care of you before, during, and after your visit.

I’ve been to Mohave Creative twice now. Once to get a new piece of (art) ink, and the other time to touch up the work I got done.Both times I was super impressed with how clean the studio is kept, and also how inspirational the tattoo artists are!! They really are passionate about their work, and do an amazing job bouncing ideas while designing/creating the vision for your tattoo.I’ve always called ahead to check how busy they are, but never needed to book an appointment. I was given water to make sure I stayed hydrated - and felt really comfortable thanks to their awesome team!

I was visiting LA and decided it was time to add another tattoo and I’m so glad I did. Grace was awesome touching up my design, keeping the classic 8-bit style I was looking for while cleaning it up to make it clearer. Jonny is an incredible artist and I am extremely impressed with how well this turned out! It was a very detailed given the size of it and staying true to the pixel art. You can tell that he loves what he does and takes pride in his work. Thank you Jonny and Grace so so much!!

You can’t go wrong with this place! Mohave Tattoo is an exceptional tattoo salon that exudes an immediate sense of comfort and assurance when you step through its doors.I’ve been there for two years now (for tattoos and piercings) and I have consistently received impeccable service! I came to Mohave while on vacation to get my nose pierced and tooth gems. Everyone was so nice, funny, professional, and they did great work! I’ve never had a piercing heal as fast as this one. The woman who did my teeth came in on her day off to service me. Can’t wait to visit the west coast again and I pay another visit to Mohave!

I am very happy with my tattoo.  It was my first one and I was not sure what to expect.  Jonny and the rest of the team worked patiently with me to ensure the design I had in mind was converted perfectly into reality.

Oh my goddddd, my aunt, mom and I were wanting to get tattoos and searched everywhere in la and other surrounding cities. We finally felt super drawn to Mohave specifically because of how light the place looked in the pictures and what an amazing vibe KD had on the phone with us! Milk Man ended up being our tattoo artist and it was the most incredible experience here and not just with KD and milk, but with Johnny (the owner) and the rest of the team there! All had such chill vibes and amazing humor! The tattoos came out PERFECT to say the least, and being my mom’s and aunt’s first one ever, milk made it even all the more special! (A huge plus he and others spoke Spanish so my family felt really comfortable) — enjoy the pics!

The best tattoo studio in the United States of America!!! I got 4 big tattoos from Master Maxim. Excellent and the best masters . A large selection of masters for any style of tattoo. Very nice and not expensive prices.The store is very clean, beautiful and atmospheric. I want to go back there all the time.

Called the day before and made an appointment for a piercing for my friend and I. The next day, we arrived on time as the shop was opening. Piercer was not in the shop yet. We thought, “ok, the shop just opened so maybe he was just on the way in for the day”, and we were fine waiting for a little bit. We ultimately waited for over an hour and a half and still no piercer. Decided to just leave at that point.

Got my very first tattoo here and came as a walk-in. The staff were super nice and professional. I had Chris do my tattoo and even though it wasnt his style, he did a very good job at creating what I wanted. He also made me feel very comfortable since it was my first tattoo and was great at informing me what to do and how to take care of my tattoo. The place had such a great vibe and lots of amazing artists there and I would love to come back again some day to get another tattoo from them.

I got a tattoo here for the first time and from my experience the staff were all extremely friendly and highly skilled. I got my tattoo done by David and he did a fantastic job on my piece. It took about 3.5-4 hours to complete and he charged me for only 3 cuz he was really excited about the piece, he might have been more excited than I was. He was very light handed and from all the tattoos I’ve gotten this one was the least painful despite it being the most complex. I would a 100% be back for David to finish the rest of my sleeve

Mohave has a wide range of artists for everyone’s tattoo style preferences! I looked through their website and contacted AB who was so so great with helping me whip up a sketch. They even showed it to me a day before my appointment to make sure I liked it. Everything was done super professionally! I loved the store and the ambience too. Will definitely be coming back here for more

Highly recommend Mohave Creative! My artist was Gabriel and he did an amazing job with my tribal design tattoo! The staff was great, the shop had a great vibe, and overall really enjoyed my experience here!

I have gotten several tattoos here and recently my first touch up. I have enjoyed every session and loved every piece Ive gotten here. I have recommend this shop to friends and family and I plan to get more work in the future.

I am not a person to write reviews but this experience was so horrible i had to share. My 2 friends and I came into Mohave to get a basic matching finger tattoo which would be all our first tattoo’s. We did some research and saw the place had amazing artists and a high star review so we went with it. The first artist they gave us was Dean and when he looked at our design he said that it was simple and any of their artist could do a great job on it. If it was such a simple job i do not understand why he didn’t want to complete the tattoo. Then they switched our artist that we don’t know the name of because she never introduced herself but she had a mask on and was constantly coughing. We looked on their instagram to try and find her but she was not an artist on their instagram highlights (while writing the review i found out her name is Sherry after some searching). She was very quiet and did not know the answers to most questions we were asking. When we asked about the price she said $100 but $200 if you want a future touch up. She even eventually kicked my friend out of the tattooing area to go sit in the waiting area while other people had their friends around watching them get tattooed. Once 2/3 of our friends were tattooed the front desk lady pulled the artist away to talk privately and when the artist came back she said it’s actually gonna be $150 and $200 if you want future touch ups. For being such a small basic tattoo it was way over priced and above their required $100 minimum. They did not honor the original quote after we already got tattooed. After our tattoos were complete we asked for the aftercare instructions which she knew nothing about and instead “sent” us a photo of instructions that we never received. Once we left we called to inform them we did not receive the instructions and they said the artist would send them again. Til this day we never received them. The next day the tattoos started to look weird but we thought it was apart of the healing process. It has been 2 weeks and the tattoos are absolutely horrible. There are parts already faded and each circle looks different. I attached photos of our inspo picture, the fresh tattoos, and the healed ones. Overall, it was a waste of money and I felt they took advantage of us being tattoo first timers. Sorry for the long review but in summary I would not recommend!!

So glad I chose to go here!! I Absolutely love my tattoo. Emma was the first person I talked to and she was amazing, super helpful and had Such an awesome personality! She set me up with Gabe and I couldn’t have been happier with his work! It’s phenomenal! Such a skilled artist. Cody the other reception is the man! Super professional, knowledgeable and thorough on all the info I needed before and after leaving. A big thanks to everyone here who helped me along the way! Amazing artists and the best two receptionists I’ve came across anywhere.

Very comfortable atmosphere. l initially just went in to get both of my ears pierced which I’m very pleased by the finishing product! Ian was quick and explained the process of the piercing. Also kat was great, very detail and attentive when it came down to my tattoo. I will definitely be coming back!

I absolutely love my tattoo done by AB! They were extremely easy to talk to and I love their style of tattoos. They really worked with me to get exactly what I wanted and I never felt like I couldn’t speak up if I wanted to change something! Super clean work and it’s healing great.

Wendy and Chacha were the best! I came in cause I lost the ball to my septum and they were beyond helpful! They were so attentive and kind that it made the whole process so great. They even helped me change one of my nose piercings since it was too big for my noise. I would recommend this shop to anyone! Not only did I have fun but my piercings look so much better!

Same day appt to get some ear piercings. Staff was really nice and the owner, Johnny, is a great too. The attention to detail and time he took to do a couple of piercings was super nice. I might even go back and get a tattoo!

I would like to recommend this tattoo studio and the very good tattoo artist Maxim to you. He did this tattoo for me, he is very professional in his work and makes a very professional sketch, he works very cleanly and neatly. In my opinion, you can’t find a better tattoo artist than him

Highly recommend Mohave!! They did a great job at understanding exactly what I wanted and making sure that I was 100% happy with the tattoo placement before starting. Elder was my artist and he did an amazing job. All of the staff is super friendly and the shop is very clean and welcoming! Very refreshing compared to the other tattoo shops Ive gone to. Will definitely be returning :)

This place is an absolute MESS. Got a piercing from Jonny and his breath smelled of alcohol and B.O. Never coming back. Floors smells like dog piss.. Bathrooms never have soap or paper towels. I saw cocaine remnants , pills near the toilet and dead roaches and mice droppings in the restroom as well. Gross. Im surprised this place is still operating

So This is my third time coming to Mohave creative, and want to highlight the fact that everyone there treats you with tons of kindness, professionalism and a blast of energy ! I added to my sleeve and Chris took what I wanted and made it into something wonderful. He takes his time, and cares about every shade, every line, and all the details. For someone who has/had struggles with their body and mental health, its the details and the human connections that really help heal those feelz. Thank you Chris and Mohave creative ! Ive never left a bad review before but genuinely my experience here cost me so much money and was potentially dangerous.Ive never had piercings before and wanted to get my lobes pierced- I was super candid and told them I didnt know anything about the process. They were friendly and took me in as a walk-in. I dont remember the piercers name but I think he mentioned hes the main tattooer? Regardless, he led me to a wall of earrings and told me to pick any. I asked what he recommends and all he said was something small. I picked the smallest earrings I saw that I thought were cute, and he said they were good to use. I have attached the picture of them below but not only were they butterfly backs, they were also coated black which can chip off and mess with healing.I didnt know they were dangerous until 8 days after the piercing, when my ear was swollen and I complained to a friend who knows more about piercings. I understand I picked them myself, but MULTIPLE times I mentioned I didnt know anything about the piercings and would not know what was safe. As a professional, the worker should have known better and should have warned me.I went to some other piercing shops to get second opinions, and both locations I went to said the same thing-- that what he put in my ear was dangerous and should be swapped immediately.I ended up getting them swapped elsewhere for smaller, flatback, titanium earrings and within the day my ear was no longer swollen. The whole experience cost me $180 because I had to pay $90 here and then $90 to get them swapped out.Also, after I described the experience to my friend who knows more about piercing, he was suspicious of the health code regulations. Its been over a week, and I wasnt super paying attention to what the guy was doing so I cant say for sure- but the process I remember does not match the standard practice my friend described. I do not remember him wiping my ear with any disinfectant, nor using a tooth-pick with ink (which is what my friend said is generally used to create the marks?) I dont wanna say for sure its a violation because I would not know the details and its been a while, but if you sort by negative reviews Im not the first person to point this out.

I absolutely love this place! The environment is so great. I came in with a design idea. The cool girl at the front desk had me show it to her and immediately connected me with Milk. I knew from the enthusiasm he showed for my concept that he was the right artist for me. He took my basic concept for a design and worked with me to make sure I was happy with all details. My first session was totally smooth and he checked in with me to see how I was doing through the whole thing. My piece healed up perfectly and already looks amazing even though its not fully done. I cant wait to go in for my next session to finish it. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone looking for quality work.

Edit: a whole novel reply from the owner saying I was an employee (I was not) just goes to show how he treats his employees too cause that projection was crazyyyy 😅Owner has 99% of bad reviews taken down but every experience me and my friends have ever had here has been a disaster. Tat deposit was stolen and owner ghosted. And I wouldn’t be surprised to find out that the piercer was just someone who walked in off the street. My girls ear cartilage piercing almost sent her to the ER and the health code violations in gen are crazy. Ask around about the rep of this spot and everyone will say the same thing. Do not waste your money here.

This place is awesome. I originally went in for a septum piercing then went back for a tattoo a few weeks later. Both Vanessa and Chris were great. Will definitely be back for more ink!

Friendly professional staff. The tattoo studio is sanitary and clean. The tattoo artist Gabriel Munster did an amazing job on my tattoo. He listened to exactly what I wanted. I got a skull wearing a crown with a female face. He did an amazing job and overall had a great experience.

I highly recommend coming here for all of your tattoo and piercing needs! The staff there is great especially the front desk. Steven made it very easy to set up my appointment and really set the tone for the shop. Monste made my first tattoo experience a great one, she was very understanding, worked with me to get my tattoo the way I wanted it, and took her time on the small details. My friend also got her naval pierced by Silent, he was able to calm her nerves by talking her through the process and was very fast and efficient with the piercing.

I got my cartilage done here. The piercer is an expert, I barely felt anything and he was super professional and nice. The shop was very busy but also very clean and the staff was super friendly. Would definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking to get piercings.

Jonny and the whole team are amazing. The amount of effort they take to provide a clean and safe environment during a pandemic is incredible. Every artist displayed their skills the two nights I was there. From the owner, other artists, the piercer and even the apprentices. I was blown away at the care and talent! They had walk-in-ins and long term appointments for bigger projects! Cant say enough about my experience here. I know have 3 more appointments booked. Well worth the wait.

My brother got tattooed and I got pierced. Great staff and good vibes. Dean did a great job on my brothers tattoo and Ian is an exceptionally knowledgeable and quick piercer. Very professional but fun atmosphere and staff.

It’s already my third session and Johnny still hasn’t finish my tattoo. I have wasted time and money. It’s not fair that he has me sitting for 8 hours each session and can’t finish my tattoo that’s a total of 24 hours. He charges me what he works, but I stay waiting a long time sitting on the chair. Very disappointed, I need to find someone to really finish my tattoo now. I can’t believe I paid over $2000.

Honestly was going to go here to get my next piece l, but after doing excessive research on the owner…I highly recommend that no one ever works or visits this establishment. Seeing the evidence of many employees being mistreated and abused, would’ve deterred me from the beginning, but how customers have been getting Injuries and the infections due to health code violations…I repeat DO NOT give this shop your business as a employee or customer

If cussing out your paying customers after waiting for 3 hours while your tattoo artist is asleep in the back is your thing, definitely go for it. there’s a reason why this place has a terrible local reputation from anyone who’s worked for them, or been “friends” with the owner.

Ive gotten 4 different tattoos here now, and multiple piercings- I cannot say enough good things about this place. The shop is immaculate and they have a really dope vibe and creative interior design. The entire staff is professional, friendly, and outrageously talented. Would highly recommend them (and do) to anyone and everyone I know.

Amazing place first thing first when I entered I just felt welcome everyone was cool and greet you as they walked by. My appointment for 12:00p.m my Artist was Milk he had a real cool and chill vibe to him 12:10 he had me in the chair and was ready to get started. After I was done they sent me home with cream and other stuff for my tattoo they really take care of their clients here. He’s also super light handed which was amazing 10/10 would recommend I’ll definitely be back soon.Thanks Milk🤘🏽

I had my industrial pierced by Vanessa. She was amazing! My ear is differently shaped than other peoples so she helped with the placement. I love my new piercing! Me and my best friend got matching tattoos from Dean. He’s also amazing. About a week after I got my piercing it ended up falling out and I lost it. I came in and Ian cleaned it and put a new barbell in for me. Definitely an amazing shop.

This place was great and very welcoming. The staff was great and would make conversation in order for you to feel comfortable. The piercer I got to see today was beyond great. She was very friendly and engaged in conversation. I believe her name was Monique. Made me feel comfortable and explained the safety after care procedures. I will definitely come back here to get the other side of my nose pierced.

Mohave Creative is a great space to get a tattoo done. Positive vibes from the decor and staff. Worked with artist Dean and the entire experience was top notch. I have multiple tattoos, from multiple artists, and Dean is my guy now. He not only cares about his craft but about the experience the customer receives. From the work Ive seen, Dean is super well rounded and Ill be coming back to him with more concepts. If youre looking for your guy, set an appointment up with Dean at Mohave.

Dean did an amazing job! He drew up a design that matched my idea perfectly and the tattoo turned out amazing! He is great with super fine lines and I would trust him with tattooing me again any time! highly recommend the studio in general as well - everybody was super nice and booking an appointment was easy!

Kat is AMAZING!!! She did a fantastic job on what is THE most important tattoo I will get in my life. She did a portrait of my dog, Bunny. She captured his beautiful eyes and did so much detail work making it the best tattoo I’ve ever had. I have 7 others for reference. If you want a realism tattoo, Kat at Mohave creative is the person to go to!!! Oh and their place is really nice and clean. Very hygienic. The vibe is really relaxing. And the front desk girl, Kaia, is very very nice and accommodating.

My overall experience was pretty good. The girl at the front desk is so friendly and welcoming. I really loved the whole vibe of the shop. My artist was Gabriel and he did a fine job, however he wasn’t super friendly… he said about 2 words to me. He didn’t ask what my tattoo was about or make conversation at all. It was completely silent the entire time he tattooed me. Again, he did a fine job but I would’ve liked more of an interaction with my artist. Other than that I had a great experience and so did my friend who also got a tattoo by a female artist. I’d like to come back again but schedule with a different artist!

It started with a phone call to inquire about walk-ins. The man answering the phone was an absolute joy, and was so excited about the idea of someone getting a tattoo! He greeted us with a smile and handshake and ushered us back to the artist, Milk. He specifically put me with the artist best suited for the style I wanted. Turns out, the kind soul at reception was the owner! From consultation to application to care instructions, I’ve never had such a great experience while being in a shop or an artists chair. Milk was easy to talk to, respectful, honest about his thoughts on the design and placement, and so funny. And to top it all off- the tattoo is gorgeous and the price wasn’t so bad. Thanks Mohave! I’ll definitely be back!

I went in to get eyebrow microblading/shaded with Danni, this was for my retouch.It was a great experience, the place is calming and really nice, they have an amazing massage chair, not your typical nail salon massage chair, this thing is next level. Danni is so patient, great at creating a calm and welcoming environment. She is so good at explaining everything and really great at working with you to achieve the eyebrows you want. She is so good at what she does and you can really tell that she loves doing what she does. I was so hesitant to get my eyebrows microbladed because I’ve heard about and seen some bad work but Danni was recommended by a friend and after seeing some of her work I knew she was the one. I love that Dannis hairstrokes look so natural! I recommend her for all your eyebrow needs! Below are some before, after 1st pass and right after my retouch pictures and will update once my eyebrows heal for the final look.

I walked in for an appointment while visiting from NY and I’m so happy I did!! All of the employees/artists were very friendly and knowledgeable. My tattoo artist was Kat and I am beyond pleased with my tattoo!! I was indecisive about the placement but almost everyone in the shop gave me suggestions which I really appreciate. Next time I visit LA I’ll definitely be back!! Kat’s work was so clean my tattoo is literally perfect. 10/10!!!

Came here for a daith piercing, and was taken care of by Silent. The shop is HUGE. Super clean, friendly staff, really cool decor and music. Their prices are very reasonable, and Silent did an awesome job. Ill definitely be back!

I got a Nose Piercing, and The girl who did my piercing was absolutely nice, fast, and gentle and did an incredible job. Offered me multiple gems, w/ and w/o color. I had chose a big gem and didn’t like it, switched it to a smaller one and I loved it. She was extremely patient. I love her work, and I highly suggest this place. All the utensils she used was out of a package, clean & the store itself was Absolutely clean, organized, and very good customer service from the girl in the front desk, and the girl who did my piercing! Will definitely be coming back, if plan to have any piercings !! 😀😀

What an incredible experience for my first time! The staff was so amazing and helpful!! Highly recommend them and my artist Milk was incredible!! He is so talented, listens to his clients and made my first tattoo experience was so awesome! I will definitely be back!

My wife and I both got our tattoos done by Chris, who did an amazing job! He was very kind and friendly. It was my wives first tattoo and he instantely made her feel comfortable. We are so happy with the results and would highly recommend this place!

Got my ears pierced for the first time by Vanessa and she did an amazing job! I was pretty nervous but she was super warm, friendly, and professional. Painless and lots of fun! Highly recommend that you go to her for any piercing needs.

Super cool set up there. The girls at the front desk are super sweet and cool they and make you feel very welcomed. The place is really clean too :)Kat was my artist and she was spectacular! Absolutely loved my experience with Dean. Both my friend and I were there for our first tattoos and we both wanted fine line. We both had a general idea of what we wanted but Dean helped develop the ideas into something even greater. He also helped us consider where wed want them placed on our bodies with regard to pain and just the general aesthetic. Also he was extremely generous with his time and the overall service was very affordable. Cant wait to get my next tattoo with Dean!!!

The staff was friendly, sociable, funny, and helpful to everyone. They answered every question, they were collaborative even among themselves, asked for advice and opinions when needed, and cracked jokes the entire time. Being among them was fun. They felt like a family. Everyone was just fantastic.The artist that I worked with, Dean, was communicative and collaborative during the discussion/idea phase. We bounced ideas off each other really well. We were able to figure out what worked and what didnt for the theme I wanted for the tattoo that I needed. Overall, working with Dean was a blast.The facility is super clean and sanitary. While I was waiting, I saw the staff clean, wipe, and wrap all their equipment between sessions very well. There was also a breeze that ran through the facility that kept the air fresh the day I got my tattoo. The facility was great.

I ADORE THIS PLACE!! I came to Mohave Creative for my 18th birthday! I felt super comfortable despite it being my first time in a tattoo parlor. Kat, the person who did both of my tattoos, is an incredibly skilled artist; I highly recommend Kat for fine line tattoos. Gabriel at Mohave Creative did 2 tattoos for me. He did an awesome job! One of the tattoos he did was the identical tattoo that my 18 year old daughter created when she visited him in January. My daughter passed away recently and to honor her memory, I had the tattoo placed in the same area as my daughters plus had Gabriel do the work. He did a fantastic job plus he is an awesome guy. It was nice talking with him. Emma at the desk was also a great help and very sweet. Thank you both, it was a great experience!

At my last appointment, there was some issues with the scheduling but she resolved it super fast and professionally. She set me up with Gabriel and he gave me an amazing back tattoo. This was my first tattoo and I couldn’t have found a better spot. My artist was Milk and he was so kind, reassuring, and extremely talented. I wanted something to commemorate my pup who passed away and he was honest and upfront. He ultimately gave me something I absolutely love (and it looks JUST like him). It was a absolute pleasure to enjoy her work & conversation. I’m sure all artists are outstanding & friendly as if they were your friends for years. I could not express how extremely kind everyone was. Once I walked in, I felt very welcomed and the energy was so positive. At first, it was only my friends getting tattoos but I decided to get a conch piercing last minute (note this was at 8:30pm, 30 minutes before they closed) and Vanessa was super kind enough to stay after closing to get it done since my friends were still getting their tattoos done. Vanessa was such a doll and a sweetheart! She made sure I was comfortable during and after getting pierced and made sure I liked the size of the jewelry, and luckily enough we were able to change my jewelry to a smaller size since the original one was a bit too big. She even sized my industrial bar that I’ve been wanting to change after it healed but didn’t know the size.Overall, it was the best experience I’ve had and will definitely go back when I visit Cali again!

It was my first time at Mohave Creative. I really enjoyed my experience getting my tattoo there. I recommend getting an appointment, but walk ins are welcome. I met one of the creative artist, he goes by Deni or “D”. We talked about the type of tattoo I wanted and the area of placement. I felt like he understood my vision and he executed it well. The overall experience was fun. I would definitely go again.

This was my first tattoo and I could not have asked for a better experience. They made me feel at ease and the establishment is pretty chill. I brought in my own design. Wolf was my tattoo artist and did a perfect job. I am super happy!

I had my tattoo done by Milk and it was a great experience. He was so creative and helped me move to a design I loved. He let me obsess over every detail and make sure it came out exactly the way I wanted. During my tattoo he was friendly and professional with a great laugh. My tattoo came out great!

Extremely happy with my tattoo done by Grey! He listened to what I wanted but also gave me great feedback so the end result would look even better. Initially I only wanted a half sleeve but I was so happy/obsessed with the design two days later I came back and finished the rest of the arm. I really appreciated him making time for me on a day I was not scheduled to come in and he was booked. Overall the studio has a really relaxed ambiance and the staff are extremely friendly, I’ll definitely be back soon for my next tattoo!

I will literally never go to another studio or artists because of how much i love this place. everyone is so sweet and welcoming, the atmosphere is amazing, and their artists are extremely talented. i’ve had 4 tattoos done by Milk and i recommend him to anyone i know that’s looking into getting a tattoo. he’s hilarious, gentle, and extremely talented. i’ve left with my expectations exceeded both times and i will definitely be back to see him again! 10000/10 recommend

Absolutely such a beautiful welcoming place. Everyone we met was iconic. They made us feel good, welcomed and loved. The energy walking in made it well worth it for my cousins and I.Pam at the front desk was fierce, open to conversation & started our experience with grace and ease.We have Seth, Rilee & Olga & each one of them had hands from God. I went here to get a small tattoo on my hand. Olga was my artist and she was amazing! She worked with me to find the best spot and it ended up being a better idea than I came in with! Its also pretty small and her line work is impeccable, its perfect! She actually helped fix the line work on another tattoo on my hand. Super friendly and I highly recommend her.

Update: I got the owner on the line and he was lovely. He offered to replace the lost jewelry and assess the damaged piercing. I’ll update after the experience.He also said that the piercer (Jessica) no longer works at their studio.Awful experience.1) I was charged for an additional cartilage piercing. I’ve called the shop and emailed the owner/helpline multiple times to no avail. I had to request the adjustment through my credit card company2) The piercer was friendly but very inexperienced. She is not a “master piercer.”-She was neither able to remove nor place (not pierce just a jewelry change) a nose ring.-She placed my forward helix piercing too close to the edge despite pre-mapping. I’m currently 10 weeks post piercing and it literally just RIPPED through the sliver of skin she left (See picture).I told her it looked off at the time of the piercing and she assured me that it would heal straight.-She so poorly installed a $195 Opal pin labret that it fell out ONE WEEK LATER (I’ve never had a labret fall out so quickly anywhere and NEVER from my helix)-Was unable to meet my requests for jewelry sizing/color/placement.-She stood right over my shoulder while I paid and tipped. I felt pretty uncomfortable from the whole experience.10/10 would never get another piercing here.

So lucky to have stumbled across this tattoo studio and to have Milk tattoo me! Very happy with my dainty fine line tattoos, I have been wanting them for a while and Milk did such a great job. Took the time to make sure everything was exactly how I wanted it (even if it took a few edits!) also gave me a great deal. I am only visiting the states but any friends looking to get tattoos in LA I would be sure to recommend them here :)

It was such a an amazing experience! I went in as a walk in, and Vanessa treated me super well, and she was really quick with the two piercings that I decided to get! She gave me really good after care of instructions and I will definitely be coming back next time I’m in Santa Monica!!

We saw the Milk Man and he was amazing! I had my first tattoo and he explained everything and made me feel very comfortable. He is an incredible artist and is a master at shading. It is obvious he is focused on detail and each face he did has a very beautiful expressions. I will definitely be back. Just head in and ask for the Milk man and you will be very pleased with the tattoo you receive.

Everyone that works at this shop is beyond amazing. Milk did my tattoo and it’s so sick. Clean, comfortable, and relaxing. I would recommend this shop to anyone. From getting your first tattoo to fitting the final piece in the puzzle, this is the place to go.

I got my vertical labret lip piercing done here yesterday and it came out really good! The piercer was nice and it was quick and not really painful. The price was reasonable too! I had other shops trying to charge me $140 and this place only charged me $90 including jewelry. It was a nice and clean shop and had a good vibe. I’m new to the area so I didn’t know of any specific tattoo shops but I’m happy I picked this one.

Ive been here often, and always love the vibe of this place. Its also so close to where I live. I brought two friends in this time, and we were lucky that we could get Dean to tattoo all three of us. We had a blast, and were all soooo sooo happy with the end result. We came in with high expectations but Dean definitely exceeded them. He had some great ideas for our tattoos and they looked so much better than we had even hoped for. The whole process was so smooth, fast, and pain-free. I can definitely recommend coming here, ask for Dean, he will not disappoint!! :D

I was recently diagnosed with a heart condition, so my brother and I got sibling tattoos that incorporated the EKG graphs from a heart monitor. My brother got his on his forearm and mine on my ribs. Our artist, @not_Milk, was fantastic! He was super cool and made us feel comfortable. I was expecting sooo much pain for it to be on my ribs. It did hurt, but it wasn’t anywhere close to what I imagined. Also, the nurses at the cardiac rehab facility that I go to loved the tattoo and said the heart monitor graphs were accurate.I would definitely go back to Mohave Creative for another one. The receptionist was super nice and Milk did an excellent job. My brother and I would definitely highly recommend Milk!

Walked in for a simple second lobe piercing and was able to see someone within 30 minutes which was awesome. The piercing was done in a private room, which was so nice. Monique made sure I was able to help determine the placement of the piercing (based on future piercings I might want) and discuss jewelry options prior to any piercing. I have nothing but amazing things to say about my experience. From ease of booking, to the consultation with the artist to a welcoming environment. Rylee/Rosie is awesome, she made the design I came in with better! Like, way better! I loved that she made suggestions and we bounced details back and forth. I got a pretty sentimental piece and felt comfortable enough to share with Rylee, I nearly cried when it was all done. So thankful for amazing artists and humans like the ones at Mohave. “Kat” at Mohave Creative did and excellent job on my fine-line tattoo. I asked for some last minute adjustments to a past tattoo and she put in a lot of work to make sure the design was perfect. This place absolutely exceeded my expectations, and I definitely recommend Kat for your next tat!!

I had the most amazing experience at Mohave Creative with Dean. It felt like he was meant to do my tattoo from the beginning when he reached out asking if I had any ideas for tattoos and there was a special one in particular that i was nervous to commission but I looked at his work and knew he could handle it. Entering the studio was so calming and fun. It had a great vibe and Dean was so professional and attentive. Im so grateful that he is the incredible artist that he is and loved that I could trust him with such an important piece. He took all of my feedback to heart and took so much time and care to make sure that the piece was exactly what I wanted and fit in the place that I had in mind. It was such a peaceful, pleasant experience in the studio. The finished tattoo brought me to tears. It was more perfect than I could have imagined. If there is any tattoo that I want care and attention brought to, I will definitely have Dean and Mohave Creative at the top of my mind. Most of my anxiety was around really knowing if the artist was going to screw this up. Its permanent! And theres really no way to know *for sure*, unless you talk to someone whos been there. Thats why Im writing this review, so you know. I dont usually do reviews but I felt compelled after my experience.The entire staff from Jonny on down was fully supportive from design to ink. Everyone was easy going and the focus was always on what I wanted for the tattoo. They answered all my newbie questions with patience and provided essential feedback on my design. The studio has a great vibe; Its a great place to just hang out. You can tell all the artists in the studio really LOVE what they do. After I visited, all my anxiety was gone.Based on your design, youll get recommended a few artists to select from that specialize in your type of tattoo. You can review their previous art (links on Mohave site) to help with the selection and talk to any of them or all of them if you like. Again, the focus is on you.Rae was my artist. She has been incredible. I sent a few examples of designs I was thinking of and talked it over with her. She nailed the design. It was like she pulled the image directly from my brain, except she made it way better. Then she nailed the execution. I am SUPER stoked about my tattoo. I cant really express how thankful I am. Thanks Rae!! Youre the best!Ill be going back to Mohave for my next tattoo, no question. My tattoo looks so good my wife is getting her first now. I recommend you check them out. Pleasantly surprised with my first Friday the 13th tattoo experience. The shop as a whole had an amazingly welcoming and beautifully cozy atmosphere. I expected the artists to be drained out by the time I was up, instead they stayed smiling, chugging redbulls and making sure everyone was taken care of.My artist was Chris. He took his time insuring I was happy with sizing and placement of my new tattoo. Even with all the Friday the 13th chaos going on, I never felt rushed by him or any of the staff during my time there. I really appreciate his patience in taking the time to explain aftercare to me in detail as well as answering any questions that came up throughout the session. Before I left, Chris assured me should I have further questions/inquiries, he would always be reachable.This experience exceeded expectations and I am overly grateful to have stumbled across this jewel of a place. Absolutely going to be a returning customer! I highly recommend you giving this place a shot; you’ll be happy you did!Shop+Artist’s= 10/10

Came in day off and only waited 30 minutes for a small thing, but the inside is super nice and the front desk are very friendly. Our artist, Kat, was also very polite and her line work is awesome. Would definitely come back and visit again.

Punky and Nadia were amazing - very kind and attentive. I called in the morning, and they fit me in at 4pm day of. My 15 year old industrial piercing had closed up partially and Punky took the time to try to get it back open. I ended up having to only repierce one of the two piercings, which was a better outcome than I expected. Very grateful!

I personally love not_milk! It was my first tattoo and he helped me every step of the way! He not only started it from scratch but asked for my opinion and made sure I loved the tattoo before starting. He also made my experience very personable, he made sure to talk to me throughout the tattoo and ask how I was feeling because it was my first. After the tattoo was done he educated me on how to take care of it and checked up on me to make sure the healing process went well! I definitely will be coming back to get more!

I went in to get my helix pierced and had a fantastic experience with Monique. Not only was the piercing over within seconds, but she was also friendly, kind, and enthusiastic. Highly recommend you get your piercings done here and ask for Monique!

Chose this tattoo shop for my first tattoo and I am so happy with the results, and everybody was so sweet! I had a rough first experience because I didn’t eat enough food before getting the tattoo, so my blood sugar dropped and I blacked out pretty bad to the point that I fell onto the floor and hit my head pretty hard. However, when I gained consciousness, every person in the shop (both staff and customers) came to help me. The staff got me juice, candy, aspirin, and ice packs while they talked to me in order to calm me down. They treated me with so much kindness and I appreciate all their help and concern. I was able to finish the tattoo and it came out sooooo cute I love it!!! Will definitely be going back to get my tattoos done there! :)

First time for a tattoo! They accommodated my walk-in 2 hours early for me. Fantastic atmosphere, lovely artists. Not only were they all very supportive of my first tattoo. But my artist had walked me through the whole process. KD is the absolute best, very very recommended. The artwork is especially amazing. Atmosphere is amazing, staff are welcoming, process was relaxing, nothing wrong whatsoever! I would say the only thing is that it was a little pricy. However; personally totally worth it from Mohave.

Im a repeat customer, having gotten several piercings here. I love coming here. Its professional, scenic and friendly. I almost look for excuses to return, just because I find the atmosphere so fun and positive. Highly recommend. Ian was awesome and very knowledgeable about all related to piercings.

Got a navel piercing here and its healing beautifully. took one star because piercer cancelled like 15-20 minutes after our appointment was supposed to start (said he couldnt make it to the shop on time), but I received a 10% discount if I rescheduled. I rescheduled for the following week at the same time, and the day of this appointment, i received an email asking if we could push the appointment at a later time because the piercer, again, wasnt available. like i said, the piercing itself was really well done, i love it! piercer truly knows what hes doing and he made sure I had all the information i needed which i appreciate. but i dont think my experience deserves 5 stars, my time could have been respected more.

Wow. This place was just up the street from my work place and some coworkers and I have been talking about getting some tattoos together. We haven’t had time but we finally made some and called for a walk-in. Miraculously, they had 4 available and there were four of us! We each told our artist our idea. They sketched something out. Had us all out within an hour. Super friendly and Leila (Layla) was at the front and welcomed us in like we were her friends. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a tattoo. Super dope shop with dope people.

I have gotten 6 tattoos here (2 in one sitting in October 2021, 4 in one sitting in September 2022) and I am so happy with all of them. All of the detailing is so good and the cost was so affordable. They truly are so talented and the shop has such interesting, cool interior design. Totally reccomend this shop for tattoos! Very good service! Amazing tattoos!

Bryan and Kat were great. My daughter and I got matching tattoos and the whole experience was great. The chill atmosphere and staff made the whole experience relaxing. Music was good, staff was friendly, and it was great. The skill and detail of every artists work is top notch.

I came in to get my septum pierced. Before the piercing, Vanessa answered all of my questions about aftercare and the healing process. The piercing itself was quick and painless. There was a moment of pain when Vanessa put in the jewelery (maybe a 3 or 4/10) then I was good to go.Ive had the piercing for about a week and I havent had any issues. Unless Im cleaning it, I really dont notice its there. I had a great experience at Mohave and Im planning to go back for other piercings.

My friend and I came to get additional lobe piercings (my friend got her doubles and I got my triples).Tons of free street parking and metered parking nearby.The shop was really chill and comfortable. Very clean.Sam was wonderful help checking in and a great piercer. She did an amazing job. My friend was a little nervous and Sam walked her through each bit, making her comfortable.We are both super happy with how our piercings turned out.Definitely recommending to any friends who want to get pierced.

Mohave Tattoo is awesome!! My sister and I got handwriting tattoos and Rylee did an amazing job. She was so accommodating to our requests and went above and beyond to make sure it was exactly as we wanted. The tattoos came out perfect, it looks exactly like our dad’s handwriting. I got a tattoo with Rae and have been going to her consistently ever since! One of the most talented artists I’ve experienced and super duper sweet. If you want color she’s the person to go to. As a black person it’s hard to find people who can really work with our skin but she’s really good. Im not the best at having a complete idea of what i want but she’s able to work with an idea and exceeds expectations every time. Definitely will be continuing to go to her for art

Had my very first tattoo here. Would definitely recommend. Everyone working there are genuinely nice and welcoming. Everyone of them are so passionate about their jobs, you can see it in the way they do work and how they communicate! Shoutout to Jason for doing this amazing work! Not gonna lie, its a tad bit pricey, but not for one second I regret spending every dime I have in a place where Im assured theyre clean and does the job well!

People were easygoing and friendly, made the whole process super straight forward and easy. piercer was AWESOME, super considerate and communicative and got the job done sO quick and easy. also took time to let me know some key don’ts with aftercare and how to best do it- also have me his insta so i could contact later if needed. overall, loved, will be my first choice for any future piercings and/or tattoos :)

I am very happy with my piercing experience. Ian is very knowledgeable and friendly. It’s very obvious he is passionate and actually cares about his work. I got three piercings in one day and he is so quick it’s barely painful. Reasonable prices considering his skill!

I LOVE MOHAVE CREATIVE!!! Gotten my most recent 6 tats at this place and I love them so much. My artist, Grey, is so freaking good at what he does, I love how he incorporates his style into the tattoos he’s done for me. Will be booking every tattoo I want with him. The people at Mohave Creative are so friendly and really make you feel welcome! I know a few of the other artists and receptionist there and they all say hi to me and are just the sweetest. They also do walk ins and omg every artist there is amazing and will be able to get the design you want right then and there. My first tattoo at Mohave was a walk in and Grey did such a great job with the idea I wanted. Also their Friday the 13th $31 flash tattoo sale was so amazing. The artist, Milk, had did the two I got and they are soooo nice. I have been happy with every tattoo I have gotten here and look forward to getting more. Also forgot to mention the piercer, Ian, who changed my stud to a hoop and used that stud to pierce the other side of my nose. He measured my nose to get the perfect hoop shape. Everyone here is so dedicated to their work and will try so hard to do any idea you want. I would recommend this tattoo shop to anyone!!

Finally, made up my mind to get the first tattoo. And you know what, it was awesome experience and the most cool and detailed tattoo made by Olga! I’m so glad that I met her, she is not only the best tattoo master, but also very professional - every single thing was sanitized and organized for the better workflow, before starting we discussed the details, made some changes and improvised a little bit with the sneakers on a lovely mushroom tattoo. And the most important thing, Olga is a really nice and kind person to talk to and having some fun during the process. Also, after the tattoo was finished she told me everything about taking care of it (it is so important to get your tattoo heal faster and without any damage to it). I’m extremely happy with the results, Olga’s skills and masterpiece artwork. If someone has some doubts about where and who can create exactly what you want - this is the right place with Olga!

I got a rib tattoo of two small simple butterflies and it was great and also my first ever tattoo. The artist made sure I loved the design and placement beforehand and I ended up not even using the numbing cream because I felt so comfortable. It was quick and not too painful because of the artist and the whole process was amazing.

Lovely experience all around. walked-in on a whim with my best friend for his birthday. the people who took care of us were quite sweet & considerate. one side of the shop is dark and a bit over-stimulating for me but the other side is lighter and has a lil waterfall and shi. kind of the best of both worlds which I appreciated because I’m an extremely anxious & sensitive individual. our girl Riley was reassuring, passionate about her work, & really took care of us. would definitely trust them with my skin again. 🦢

I’ve been seeing Vanessa and the team at Mohave for a little while now and nobody makes me feel more cared for. So knowledgeable, professional and fun. I found myself feeling excited when I had a piercing emergency the other day and knew that I’d get to see that whole team over there.

I walked in on a Monday afternoon for a conch ear piercing. They said that their piercer is only there on weekends but that the owner Johnny was there and could do it. I waited about 45 minutes. Johnny was great and everything was easy and went smoothly. The only thing that I didn’t like is that he didn’t offer me a choice of what jewelry I would like, he just did a small silver stud. I didn’t mind that much because I want to change it to a hoop once it heals anyways.

KD is an incredible artist, she is so talented and was able to bring a very specific idea I had to life, but with her own twist on it. I am absolutely floored with the result, and can’t wait to go back for more tattoos.

Chris completely my first tattoo perfectly! He took his time helping me design and make the exact changes I requested. The lines are so clean and it turned out beautiful. The shop is extremely clean, professional and welcoming. Definitely stop by!

Mohave Creative was fantastic. I’ve been to some great shops in Vegas and LA and Mohave Creative honestly topped them all. Johnny was welcoming and suggested me the perfect artist for my design. My artist Taylor was very talented and understood what I wanted and delivered perfectly. I had two awkward coverups that came out above my expectations. The shop followed up with me, thanking me for my business, a first from any shop I’ve been to. Will definitely be back soon, can’t suggest Johnny, Taylor and Joe enough. The prices are great for the quality. A+ 5 stars!

My friend and I went to get her nose pierced, Vanessa was an absolute sweetheart and helped us pick placements. I gave in and got a daith piercing and I absolutely love it. The shop is absolutely gorgeous, super clean and we will be back for more :)

Mohave creative is truly the best tattoo shop I’ve ever been to! Ambiance is out of this world and staff are extremely friendly / accommodating. Jonny is my go to guy, but they have so much talent under one roof.

Haven’t gotten a tattoo here but saw Ian today for a piercing and had the best experience. He was super nice, knowledgeable and just an all around great guy. He suggested to me a way I could do my conch piercing that I had never thought of or knew you could even do which Im so excited to come back and get from him. I’m sure I’ll be back for even more piercings after that.

Gabe was everything you want in a tattoo artist. He offered great advice, drew an amazing rendition of what I asked for, highly skilled, and overall my favorite was how intuitive he was to my reaction while getting tattooed.Emma Jane, who was working the front desk, kept the place going. She was handling walkins, scheduled apts, and the artist’s beautifully. I’m convinced she’s responsible for maintaining the flow of things because she did so in a way that was seamless. I live 5 hours away and the trip was worth it and will be worth it again. 10/10 also, I love seeing Mohave all over the place!

Right after showing the front desk the tattoo I was given they scheduled me for Laser removal. I am 22 and have been getting tattoos for years now. I was worried when I did a walk in and my artist (Diego) seemed a bit in the clouds and was literally shaking when putting on the stencil. I showed him my photo reference and told him specifically that I need thin small lines to match my other tattoos. After it was finished I looked down to see a crooked bold tattoo. I was so in shock, still am, and felt even he knew he messed up. I don’t wish anything bad on the artist but wish if he wasn’t confident in this simple design to not have me be a test subject that I now, at 22, have to get laser removed.

I went here on a whim during vacation and I definitely chose a great place! I got two cartilage piercings right next to each other and it barely hurt and they are both healing great! I definitely recommend this place for others, especially Ian, as he did my piercings!

Tattoo was unrepairable. They offered a touch-up, but a touch-up isnt going to fix the mistakes. They are very nice people and I enjoyed the experience, but this tattoo is a massive disappointment that Im going to get covered up or removed.

This place is a top tier tattoo shop! I got a tattoo from Gabriel and he was great to work with. He executed the design exactly how I envisioned it, this tattoo is now my favorite. I have another scheduled with Jonny and I’m excited for it! 5/5 would recommend…Follow up: I got a second tattoo by Jonny Ocean, working on a sleeve, and so far the tattoos have far exceeded any of my expectations. Mohave Creative is a great place to check out in LA. I am a tourist and I booked a month out,, they already had my line work ready for me when I got there. Brian is a great tattoo artists and the rest of the staff is super friendly. This tattoo shop is not sketchy and I would recommend them to anybody.

I wanted somebody to do some work on an existing tattoo, which was a cover-up and needed some blending done in the background. I discussed the project with Milk and he executed it perfectly. I’ve gone to her 3 times and have over 10 tattoos by her which I get non stop compliments on. I walked in without an appointment for a belly piercing and Ian was amazing! Very clean and overall super fast process, I didn’t feel a thing and I’m very satisfied. Prices were good compared to other studios in L.A and there was a nice vibe to the place. Highly recommend!

I would describe using Mohave as a no-brainer. Everything about the place is just great. Friendly staff that was great with answering questions and no pressure. I went in to redo 3 old tattoos and the artists were great about brainstorming ideas to make the redo’s look awesome. The final product was excellent!

Had a great experience with Joaquin, the tattoo is exactly how I wanted it! Had to take off a star due to the bad customer service. I had to put down $100 dollars to make an appointment with an artist to show up that day to be told by the receptionist that the artist just left without any type of explanation. Seems absurd that they require you to put down $100 deposit and then no show up. Had to wait over half an hour due to this since Joaquin took the job and had to get ready.So yeah amazing job by Joaquin, pretty bad customer service.

Could not have had a better experience , from feeling welcomed as soon as I came in from Emma and then the exceptional artistry work from Milk on my 💜. The whole team of artists there really makes you feel welcome and like it’s a 2nd home. Highly recommend 10/10

I have many tattoos and pride myself at handling the pain super well. This time for no particular reason, I nearly passed out while getting my tattoo. My artist did not make me feel bad, got me water and straight up pretended not to notice. After I threw some water on my face in the bathroom I came back and felt great, and he finished giving me a killer tattoo! Would highly recommend Camilo. Also just a super chill dude and most importantly, his work is next level. They also got me in last minute.

I came in to the shop a while back to get a large thigh piece. I worked with Gabriel and the whole process was so smooth from consultation, to design, to the actual tattoo. We had two sessions and I could not be happier with the end result. Money well spent!

Ian was a huge help. I went in last minute and they took me in right away as a walk-in even though it was super busy in the store. He answered all of my questions and helped calm any nerves that I had. He efficiently pierced my nostril so I didnt have time to over-think it or panic. Also since the appointment, hes been available to answer any questions that Ive had since.

Jonny Ocean is a dope artist. Met the guy about 12 years ago. He is by far one of the best tattoo artist I have seen. The place is super chill, calm and has a down to earth atmosphere. I was down bad after an experience with an artist at another shop left me with a rushed piece that was sloppy and a far cry from what I’d asked for.I reached out to Rae the day after my botched session, and she immediately proved that not all heroes wear capes.She asked detailed questions about what I wanted, making sure use the reference photos I provided so she had a clear idea of what I liked about them, and what details from those photos I wanted to include in my piece.She came up with designs based on our initial conversations, and was super open to my feedback. Chris was fantastic!! My wife surprised me with a cover-up appointment for an ugly piece from another shop. Chris was able to work some magic and not only hide the original but also give me a sick tattoo that I can be proud of. Well both be coming back to Chris for the next work we have done.

Id recommend MCT because theyre where quick, efficient, reasonably priced, and good! I appreciate their attentiveness to cleanliness. Camilo (Yeison) was awesome as an artist. I have several more tattoos I plan to get, and I would drive the 2 hours from San Diego to get them done at Mohave!

Five of us got memorial tattoos on Sunday. We used Dean and Diego and both were excellent and very kind! There is a relaxed vibe and the decor is very cool. If I were ever to get another tattoo, that is where I would go!

I was highly recommended to Jonny Ocean 6 months ago by a coworker of mine when I let him know the kind of realistic tattoo I was going for. Not even having a tattoo from him, my coworker said Jonny Ocean is the guy to go to. If thats not enough for you to get your butt down to Mohave Creative, I dont know what is.My most recent experience was for my half sleeve Joker/The Dark Knight tattoo. I had a general idea of what I was going for, but Jonny brought it to life. This was a big piece that took 3 full day sessions to complete. Even with how complicated the piece is, Jonny is such an optimistic and good hearted guy that he took the job without hesitation. Im so happy with how the piece turned out and I cant wait for my next one! (Check out the pics I attached!)Jonny has been in business for over 20 years but his latest shop, Mohave Creative, has just opened in Santa Monica/West LA. The shop is currently working on minor renovations, but youd never know that by how clean and organized everything is. The friendly staff instantly greets and treats you like youre part of the family. The Store Manager Andie is the sweetest and has such a great attitude. While finishing my third session, two other artists, Alexis and Taheh, were working on other clients tattoos and did an amazing job as well.Now having two tattoos from Jonny, I can happily say that Mohave Creative is my one and only tattoo shop. Be sure to plan ahead as Jonny is usually booked months in advance!Pro tip: If you really want to get on the teams good side, bring Pretzel M&Ms!

Do not come here for piercings!!!! The guy who pierced my eyebrow used the wrong sized jewelry and had to leave the room to come back and swap it out mid piercing which was uncomfortable. Failed to mention they only had gold rings until after I was pierced (ugly!). Fast forward to now… the ring fell out and the front desk said the piercer would be in Wednesday and could fix it no problem. Well today is Wednesday and I called and they said no piercer is ever in on Wednesday (!?!?!) and I would have to wait till the weekend to pay to get it re-pierced or go pay somewhere else. DO NOT COME HERE FOR PIERCINGS AWFUL EXPERIENCE RUDE FRONT DESK
