Chaotic tattoos

Should have left a review sooner. This place was perfect, I am super happy with my first two tattoos. Great price and quality. I can’t wait to see them fully healed but they already look super good.

Honestly was Intended to give this place a good review but because of the owner not the owner’s son but the owner I am giving one star because he is rude and obviously doesn’t have any customer service skills whatsoever. My husband went into this place on Friday the 16th to get a tattoo covered up they got his drivers license and forgot to give it back and end of the night we also forgot about it as well. Know the guy that did the tattoo was great. Sunday we realized his Driver’s license was there but they didn’t open until later on during the day we had to head back home. So I called the shop myself talked to the son super sweet and I was told that i would be given a tracking number know I am going based on that because I was suppose to get a call/text back with the information and I was obviously wasn’t. So I called the next day it was the owner not sure he was having a bad day but I didn’t appreciate how he tried to talk over me and talk to me rudely because we run a business and obviously they had something of ours and I was just trying to make sure it was sent. No need to talk to people in the way this man did after we gave you business and decided to try out a place for the first time.

Very professional tatoo spot. Love the aesthetic and everyone is super helpful. High quality tattoos and they know what their doing. Highly recommend! Got a tatoo by Mariel she great!

Not worth coming here for piercings. didn’t even do the actual piercing right and put in the most comically large jewelry after that wouldn’t heal with anyone. had to get them taken out and treat for infection not even 2 days later. so clearly not sanitized correctly either… waste of a $100. which is also ridiculous for a piercing.EDIT:spraying alcohol on a needle isn’t sanitizing anything. i wouldn’t have had swelling and other signs of infection to the point of having to remove them within a day. i was not offered any aftercare products so nothing was declined. i was charged $100 and was only allowed to pay in cash so im not allowed to show proof of purchase. i did not return because i had a flight back home that night. hence the review. nothing about this situation feels qualified, safe, or even legit. an “apology” and stating things that aren’t true is not a solution.

I love the atmosphere here. It’s always nice when I come by to get a tattoo and always good people. Wonderful to come get tattooed by.

I am visiting from Dallas, TX. I just happen to walk by. Shelley is hands down one of the best tattoo artists I have ever met. The shop is clean and the vibes are good.

I came here to get tattooed while on a long layover in LA. Met with one of the artist who was super nice and picked out a couple of his pre-drawn designs for me. We settled on candy heart fillers which seemed simple enough given having seen his other, much more complicated work. I have over 20 tattoos and have never gotten such bad tattoos anywhere in my life. I paid $300 for 5 of these. Wish I would have just left after seeing the first bad one instead of walking out with these. Other work looks good. Thought I was paying for quality work. Super nice staff, super clean and nice place, but I’m not really sure what happened here.

Absolutely love this place!!! My Husband & I come here all the time. They are super nice & friendly, it’s such a chill tattoo shop and they do amazing work!!! Only ever coming here for my tattoos! Turk is the best.

This place is incredibly awesome! Vibes are cool. Went in for a nose piercing and a tattoo. Jd did my nose piercing. All was great! He was very patient and informative. Was fast and painless! He knows what he is doing. And Turk did my tattoo. He is great with tattooing! Lettering looks amazing! best place to get a tattoo! I recently visited this shop and had a great time. The staff, and the environment were clean, efficient and fun.The tattoo only took 45 minutes. And I’m so happy with the results.

Recently got a half sleeve from Turk on a whim and I gotta say, it looks amazing. People love the work! Turk works with a balance of speed and an attention to detail. I will definitely stop back in when I get back in town. Thanks for the awesome tat!

I went in yesterday for a tattoo and I absolutely LOVE it. Turk is the best. He has a great personality/humor which made me feel comfortable as soon as I stepped through the door. I got a tattoo at Chaotic Tattoo on Melrose today of a skull and a rose they came out perfect I’m really judgmental when it comes to tattoos and I give them a 9/10. The artist name was Turk customer service was amazing pretty girls everything was a vibe I will definitely be back and get more work. and my tattoo came out perfect.

This place is amazing, all great vibes! They have some of the best artists in LA and they are all very professional. Turk Jones has been working on my back piece, his line work is crazy. Already I’ve received so many compliments and we’re only halfway done. I’ll definitely be a returning customer.

Out of all the tattoos shops on melrose I found chaotic to be the most friendly and welcoming environment. I felt safe and the employees definitely make a great team. I cant wait for my next tattoo! Also referred my friends who love getting inked!

Such an amazing experience with my first tattoo. The shop and whole staff was so nice and accommodating. Had a really hard time finding a shop on Melrose that was not overpriced and would take a walk-in appointment but then Chaotic Tattoos made my day. Love my first tattoo and will definitely going back for another 🤩💯

I went and visited Turk to get my 1st ever tattoo, he made the experience super comfortable and did an Amazing job I will definitely be back for all my future tattoos.

The tattoo is beautiful and the artist, turk, was kind but he accidentally put a black dot in my skin (that isnt meant to be in the tattoo) and the tattoo itself is barely not blown out. im pretty bummed about it bc i was super happy at the time and thought it looked amazing. now when i look at it, all i can see is that one black dot.

Did a quick little pop in with a friend and got some spontaneous flash. Great prices, professional, quick. Turk hooked it up with his skills. Wonderful weekend accident coming in.

Happened upon this black-owned tattoo shop and was very happy with the service and my tattoo results. The artist provided excellent work which was exactly what I wanted. Will have to come back next time I’m in town.

Chaotic experience. Just go ahead and set an appointment elsewhere. I came to change an existing, healed piercing. Ended in gross miscommunication and blood. Oh and they didn’t do the requisite forms for piercing, so they’re non-compliant too.
