This studio is a wonderful place. My family and I came in on a walk in and Brendan set us up with matching Japanese scripture tattoos. His work was amazing and he treated us like we were family. Definitely a great studio if you are looking for Asian influenced ink.

I had an amazing experience here with Nicole.Not only was the shop itself clean, safe andbeautiful, but Nicole made my first tattooexperience comfortable. Her work is beautiful and she was very professional & diligent making sure the design was exactly what I was looking for. Nicole made me feel I was in safe hands & she is so kind to talk to while getting the tattoo done. I would highly recommend Hailin & Nicole to anyone!

My first time in a tattoo place and this place was everything I didnt expect from a tattoo studio. I really liked the ambience. It was very clean, very organized, very friendly artists and the set-up was perfect. Parking was a bit complicated but manageable.

I’ve been following this place and their artists on Instagram for a few months before booking. They have a few artists here with different styles. I like that the general style of Hailin Tattoo is a realistic style that is also very flowy and fluid. I liked Shu’s work, and when I emailed to make an appointment, his availability was 3 months out. Shu was very friendly and easy to work with even though his English is limited. It’s easy to tell that he is passionate and meticulous and detailed about his craft and making sure the piece looks good. Very nice easy going people here. Not intimidating at all. The space is clean and well kept. There is parking next door at the Rite Aid parking lot.

Hailin is the real deal. Best tattoo I have ever gotten. He put my ideas together. Just incredible better than I ever imagined.,dont waste ur time with another artist go see Hailin.

Kaho was great throughout the entire process; he was very communicative during the design and scheduling portion, gave multiple options on designs/sizing, took extreme precision on placement, was meticulous on the details of the tattoo, offered plenty of breaks to stretch and refresh, and was very thorough about the healing aftercare. He has a great artistic eye when it comes to design and does a phenomenal job on brushwork. It was also one of the least painful tattoo sessions Ive had so he would be great for those seeking their first tattoo.The shop itself also has a great vibe with its ambiance - very relaxed with burning incense, background music, and tons of decorations that Im sure each has a unique story.Ill be coming back once I have more tattoo ideas and I highly recommend it for anyone else!

Such an amazing tattoo shop! I from the East coast and had limited free time while I was here, and Zan was so kind and accommodating to my situation and fit me in within 2 days! The shop also worked within my budget and I have an AMAZING tattoo done by Kevin Kang, who took the time to make my tattoo beautiful and detailed! HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend :) Also please dont mind the bulging of the dirmaskin--this was after 6 hours of tattooing so some fluid built up!

Awesome tattoo shop. Very beautiful and elegant styles. My tattoo artist, Kaho, did an amazing job; both with drawing up my idea for my tattoo and making it come to life way more than what I could have imagined and really took the time to make sure everything was perfectly set with my tattoo, even going back over certain areas so that he felt accomplished with it. I definitely feel like the price was well worth the tattoo I received and will definitely be going back for more in the future!

My experience was amazing. The shopwas very clean and welcoming. The staff was beyond helpful and extremely polite. Nicole was my tattoo artist and she did an amazing job. Very light handed, detailed, and clean. I live in Louisiana but I definitely will visit California again just to come to this shop.

This was my 1st time in his new location and my experience (aside from parking) was great. The shops vibe is very comfortable. The art work around are excellent. All the Artists are very brotherly like - which mean they give each other hard times but all in good fun. A lot of witty banter will be heard while you get tattooed to keep you entertained.

Kaho did a beyond awesome job on my minimalist tattoo. I couldn’t ask for any better. We took time to come up with a design and he listened to all my needs. The lines are very fine ,crisp and detailed . Also very light handed and gentle. A true artist. I love itttt.

I had KaHo do two pieces for me that I had been thinking up for a long time, and he gave two amazing ideas a week in advance for me to play with and give feedback on. When the day came, he worked with a lot of professionalism, kindness, and warmth especially as this was my first set of tattoos. It was worth every penny-- KaHo is amazing at what he does with calligraphy, watercolor, and brushstroke.

They deserve more than 5 stars. This place was great!!! I love this place! The people there were super nice and the art work was amazing! I loved my tattoo artist BoBo. My tattoo was in a difficult placement on my ankle. She was so patient in working with me, never complained, she even got on her hands and knees to help me with the placement. She truly went above and beyond. I love my new tattoo! The BEST experience I have had in getting a tattoo. Everyone should come here to get their tattoos!!

Kaho did matching tattoos for me and my husband of our daughter’s name. I have been looking for a Chinese tattooist for years, but couldn’t find one I liked on the east coast. When visiting family, I found this shop on Instagram. The shop itself was comfortable and clean and Kaho created gorgeous calligraphy of our daughter’s name that was as beautiful as she is. It is perfect and we couldn’t be happier. Kaho was also very gentle and professional. Highly recommended.

A very clean and professional tattoo studio! I got my tattoo done by Kristianne and I would definitely be going back for another tattoo with him. He was real helpful in the design process and accessible when setting up the appointment and extremely professional and friendly.

The environment was organically welcoming. The shop manager, Zan, and the artists in master Hailins shop are kind hearted genuine and skilled individuals. All of the artists are extremely talented, and Wils design for my tattoo was everything I asked for and MORE. He completed my wrapped half sleeve in only 3.5 days, and was so delicate with his needle work.My wife was tattooed by master Hailin and was exuberant with her final result. Master Hailin completed a 3/4ths sleeve within 2 sessions. This is the only shop I trust and am already planning my return.

Entire experience was really great. Hailin tattoo was very quick to respond to my email. My appointment was with Wil, who was very accommodating to fit me in his schedule. If you like Asian-style tattoos, this is THE place to go in LA. A few months ago I was looking to get my first tattoo. After spending weeks scouring Instagram and Yelp for great artists, I found Hailin studio and immediately fell in love with the artists work. Im currently finishing my first sleeve with Shu. He and the team are masters of their craft and treat your skin like a canvas. The level of detail is evident in the photos, but once you sit in the chair you realize just how challenging and painstaking it is for them to create such incredible works of art.Im super thankful to have found Hailin and especially grateful to Shu for his tireless efforts designing and applyig the tattoos Ive always dreamed of having. His artistic vision and care for his guests is truly exceptional.Eric, who manages most of the scheduling, is also a great person and very attentive to requests. All in all, youll be hard-pressed to find a better studio in LA.

Marv is awesome :) hes always cracking funny jokes and puts you at ease before you get pierced. Not sure I like the lady at the front desk she doesnt really seem happy to be there.

Everybody here was great and friendly, they truly made me feel welcomed. It’s easy to tell everybody at the shop has a true passion for what they are doing. Recommend to anyone asking to go here for a tattoo.

Absolutely incredible place. Had the pleasure of getting a custom piece designed by Hailin. Communication was professional, price was high but totally worth it if you ever see his work, and the outcome was spot on. Couldnt recommend them enough.

Very friendly people when I got my tatto done there I spent about 5 hours in the seat thinking this is gonna hurt after but nope did a great job and didnt really bleed either my tatto artists was Gloria

Very bad parking, they dont follow guidelines for tattoos, nor did they wrap it properly. I did not see any lic hanging around and they prefer cash and dont give you a receipt.

I have liked Mr. Fus works for more than ten years, and I was so excited to finally have an appointment with him. Due to personal reasons, I only finished half of it. Master Hailin from Jinan Liehuo Hall? Was that the one at No. 43, Heixi Road? It was downstairs in my house at that time, next to the PS arcade. I was in primary school at that time.

Master Fu Hailin is the best tattoo artist I have ever seen. Every piece of work is so perfect.
