I’m not sure why it took me so long to finally get a tattoo done here, because I love it here. I went in for a consultation, and I was so excited, I ended up just getting the tattoo that same evening. The artists are so nice, the shop owner, Motis did my tattoo, and he is so kind, and knows what he’s doing. It’s great energy, music and vibes in the shop. I cannot wait to go back for more, this will be my new place! Thank you!

Was confused showing up to someone’s apartment to get a tattoo. He’s sweet and accommodating but my tattoo turned out below average. I wanted to get my first tattoo whilst on vacation in LA and came across this place. From the time I entered the atmosphere was great- the staff are very nice and welcoming. I opted forMotis to do my tattoo as I absolutely loved his work - he was very nice and professional and put me at ease as I was a little nervous. Super happy with the outcome and plan on revisiting next week to get my second one just before I head back home. I 100% recommend!

This is one of my favorite tattoos yet. The meaning behind it is very dear to my heart and the line work had to be precise and clean. Not only was the line work outstanding, but he gave me a personalized free hand design that really brought everything together. I will only go to Motis for any of my tattoos. His quality is top notch. He is personable, patient and made the whole process one of the most enjoyable experiences. Motis is the realest and best in LA. I can not wait for my next one.

Motis is by far my favorite tattoo artist I’ve ever experienced. I refer all of my friends and family to him. My daughter and I were in LA a few weeks ago and decided to get tattoos. We couldn’t be happier with the experience! Honestly the highlight of the trip. Motis! Just. Wow. I am beyond impressed with Motiss work. Me and my good friend stumbled upon Motis through a google search. We liked what we saw on his instagram and he set up an appointment with us the same day we reached out to him. Upon arrival he made us feel right at home, was attentive to our wants and needs, and had a playful sense of humor. Then he started tattooing.. !!! His line work: jaw-dropping. His attention to detail: nothing short of perfection. I am so happy with the result. It was such a meaningful experience.

Today, I was blessed with 4 (yes, four) tattoos from the great Motis. Not only was he on time and uber clean, he crushed the designs and made my girlfriend feel so comfortable getting her first ink (on her ribs no less). So happy I found MotisTattoos! I wanted to get SNE on the inside of my lip and when I called, Motis was more than happy to have me come in the same day, I’m sure as it was such a small tattoo, however, he was so accommodating in making time for me which was very much appreciated. Out of all the tattoo places I called, I wouldn’t have rather showed up to any other one. THE BEST TATTOO SHOP IN LA!!! My sisters and I had the absolute best experience here. Angel and Motis are amazing, professional, and their shop makes you feel like you’re at home. The prices are reasonable and Gizmo is so fun to talk to while youre hanging out. If you’re in Los Angeles, do not take your business anywhere else because there is no better place for a tattoo or piercing. I would give this place more than 5 stars if I could. It’s also open 24/7 so definitely go in if you want a tattoo and have some free time!

I’ve been skeptical about getting more ink since the last place I went screwed up a simple design, but I was In LA and got introduced to matis after my sister used him- immediately I noticed his professionalism and how clean and thorough he was, and the work he did on me was better than I could have hoped for.He took my idea and improved on it, made sure I was comfortable every step of the way, and explained the aftercare so simply and easily. I can’t wait to come back to the west coast to be able to add more work by him since I don’t trust anyone else.
