Rough Sands Tattoo

I had an amazing experience at Rough Sands. Not only is the studio clean and feels incredibly safe, Jose was very willing to talk over ideas and make small adjustments to make sure I was happy. He is incredibly talented and I will absolutely be going back when I am wanting my next tattoo! Would also definitely recommend to friends or anyone looking to get an amazing tattoo for a great price!

I got an amazing piece done by Jose Sanchez who is one of the most talented and knowledgeable tattoo artist I have ever met. I found his IG page which is full of outstanding work (check it out: @sanchezjose_art). He also happens to be a really cool dude. The studio is super cool, on the second floor of a main street in what used to be an apartment - Retro with an exclusive vibe. Very clean and fresh feeling inside. You can tell Jose loves what he does! I have many tattoos but this piece is definitely going to be the best work I have BY FAR when its finished.

My experience with Jose was better than any other! Replies quickly and really seems to enjoy what he does. Jose took his time to make sure I was 100% happy with my tattoo and did an incredible job. Would recommend to any of my friends! Shoot him a message!

When getting a tattoo, there’s a lot of options and it’s hard to just pick one. I went through maybe 4 different ideas and Jose was patient through it all! He suggested ideas and made my vision come to my life! I’m obsessed with my tattoos!! He was extremely nice and made me feel comfortable. I’m definitely going to be coming back and letting him finish my whole arm sleeves! His work is worth every penny. Can’t wait to come back!!!

Jose did an amazing job immortalizing my recently passed dog Coco. Losing a dog is one of the worst things, it’s even harder than saying goodbye to people and Coco was my ride or die. This tattoo is a work of art. The detail is incredible. I’ve gotten so many compliments and I barely even go out in public because of COVID.Aside from being amazingly talented, Jose is a cool dude. The hours went by quickly. Will definitely be back for more work soon!

Brand new shop and I was the first client to get work done in it about a week and a half ago. I found Jose through Instagram (sanchezjose_art) and loved his portfolio from his previous location, plus hes a huge Dodger/Laker fan like I am, which is what my tattoo was all about so it worked out perfect.If you want a custom design like I did, Jose really works with you to make sure you have every element you want, and every detail looks just right. He almost spends just as much time on the design process as he does on the actual ink work because he wants to be sure you get exactly what you want and your moneys worth. Hes also a super chill dude and you make a new friend by the end of the day. Ill definitely be going back for more ink by him.Oh, heads up, get there early for your appointment because its only street parking around his location and everything is metered. Thats probably the only downside to this place but its also typical in LA so definitely not his fault.

Sam did an amazing job making sure the placement was exactly where I wanted and it was evident he truly cares about each and every tattoo he delivers for his customers. It came out very clean with amazing attention to detail, would highly recommend and will surely be back in the future.
