Let me just start by saying that when I heard about scalp micro pigmentation I had no idea what it was. The whole idea of putting a tattoo on my head was not something that had crossed my mind before. You see I lost my hair in my mid twenties, and after I accepted the fact that I was never going to have my hair back, I just made the decision that I would shave my head for the rest of my life. I mean, I havent seen a barber in over twenty years. But all that changed when Dre talked to me about the process of how micro-pigmentation works. The process is broken down in four to five sessions, giving the Scalp Master the opportunity to fill your entire scalp with tattoo dots that look just like your hair. Each session can last up to two to three hours depending how much your scalp needs to be filled out. Also, depending on your scalp the pain may very, but I was very lucky that it didnt hurt much. One important highlight that needs to be said is that Dre makes the experience a very pleasant one. Not only is he a perfectionist at his work, but he keeps reassuring you throughout the sessions that you will be very happy and satisfied with the final product. And I can honestly say that after my fourth session, I am very happy with my new look.I want folks to know that before I made the decision to get scalp micro-pigmentation work done on my head, I tried everything to re-grow my hair with over the counter and online products that were expensive but that didnt deliver.If anyone out there is curious, or has thought about getting scalp micro-pigmentation work done, I would give Dre a call. The next day, I received a message from Dre regarding his thoughts on my scalp and how he thought I has scalp psoriasis, but recommended I have a dermatologist take a look at it. After having a dermatologist take a look, he was right! Not only was Dre helping me fill an insecurity due to Alopecia, but he also helped heal my scalp. If you are a woman with thinning hair, run dont walk to get scalp micropigmentation done! Seeing my white scalp was always so embarrassing, and I had to cover it with root spray that seemed to rub off on everything, including my fingers. Getting this done has made me so much more confident, and not having to worry that your scalp is showing every time the wind blows is very liberating. I was so worried about the pain, but on a scale of 1-10 its like a 3! No big deal....worth it!

At first I was very skeptical,  but my hubby and I talked about it A LOT and decided, why not give it a shot?! I have to say I was surprised at how good it looks. The fact that it can look like he just shaves his head and is not bald is huge! And my guy has always had a little shadow insecurity about not having hair since he lost it in his late twenties. Luckily hes a guy who looks good clean shaven without any hair. But still, to have this option - is a blessing. And Dre - the SCALP MASTER, is a really chill and nice guy - at the core of it all, he really cares and wants to make a difference in peoples lives. He just wants to help and seems to be a perfectionist - in a good way. Keep in mind that it typically takes several (4-5 maybe) passes to make the ink stay, but the end result.....looks like a shaved head and it makes him look 10-15 years younger.
