One of my double piercings on my earlobe closed unexpectedly the other day when I was trying to put in my earrings and go to work. I wanted to get it redone ASAP. I sent an email and was able to go the same day after work.Alex was very professional and even checked to make sure that the piercing was actually closed from the back despite the front part seeming normal. It was :( but! It was quick and mostly painless. I was there for a max of like 15 mins and I was out the door.If I want to get another piercing, I would definitely come back!

Had an appointment with Megan and I absolutely love the tattoo I got from her. She’s super sweet and was able to work with my schedule. I’d definitely will be coming back to her in the future. I love her work and hope to add on to my growing collection. Felt comfortable during the whole session as well. The shop was a cool place to visit.

Update: The shop did reach out to me after writing this review to let me know that they would get me in with another artist to fix the tattoo at no cost. Unfortunately, based on the responses from my original artist, I had already scheduled an appointment with another shop to get it fixed. I recognize that my quick scheduling of an appointment elsewhere limited the ability of Tinta Rebelde to make this right, so Ive updated my review.I chose Tinta Rebelde for a tattoo while I was traveling due to the high google reviews. I got a shoddy tattoo and a lack of accountability.The piece is a simple, small (2-2.5 at the widest) tattoo on my shoulder. I was charged $200 for it. I thought that was a bit high, but its in LA. I was fine with the price so long as I got a good tattoo. I got a mediocre tattoo with an inconsistent outline (both thickness and clarity) and patchy color.Once it was healed, I reached out to the artist about touching up and filling in the color. I was told that they could do that, but they would have to charge me the shop minimum ($100) to do so. It was suggested that the color issues were my fault due to faulty aftercare. I have enough tattoos to know how to care for a tattoo and recognize that this wasnt an aftercare issue. Ive never had an artist not waive the shop minimum for a follow-up touch-up. I was shocked.I told the artist that and sent them photos. I was told that they would still have to charge me a $100 shop minimum. Considering they already charged me a high price and this appointment would be to fix their own poor work, I was shocked. Additionally, if they messed up again, I had no guarantee they wouldnt just try to get another $100 out of me. I will be getting the tattoo fixed through another artist at another shop.Based on some of the other photos and reviews, it seems some of the artists at Tinta Rebelde are great artists. However, it seems youre left out in the cold if you happen to get a bad tattoo due to getting a weaker artist or an artist on a bad day.

I have gotten two piercings from here now and have had an absolutely wonderful experience both times and the prices are very fair in my opinion. Its a bit of a ways from where I live but I dont mind one bit, I refuse to go any place besides Tinta Rebelde to get my piercings.

Ray is the absolute best. You’ll never be disappointed. Good environment, amazing people, the best art L.A. has to offer.

I’ve gotten all piercings here and they’re always so professionally done. I never have any issues with healing process and the piercers there have really light handed. Really fast and quick. Even when I had to get my labret redone the same day because it fell out due to me eating after the guy still was able to put it back in no charge! I still left him a tip because he was so nice about it. I always recommend them to everyone I know because they always get it right! Def one of the best out there in LA

I went to get a tattoo at Tinta Rebelde with Tes and it was the best experience. I have had getting tattoos for most my life I know my fair share of great and bad experiences and Tes was one of those great experiences. he asked me what my idea was for the tattoo and I told him that I wanted to honor my grandmother, he completely understood and he made a beautiful flower with my grandmother’s name on the bottom. he was very respectful and kind thank you so much Tes you have a customer for life! I will recommend him to everyone I know thank you so much! 😁😁🙏

This is the place to go for Mandalorian tattoos. If you want Mandoa as your tattoo or part of your tattoo, ask for Max Sanchez. He did a fine job on my tattoo! Reasonably priced and doesnt take long to complete.

Been getting tattooed at Tinta Rebelde for over 12 years nothing but quality bold traditional and original tattoos . Ray is the man ! Gotta love his work. 💯🧭

UNETHICAL, RUDE, lacks accountability, and uses/sells cheap, plated surgical steel jewelry. DO NOT GO HERE.I got my ears pierced here a month ago and I told them I’m allergic to metals that are not surgical steel, gold, or silver. And they reassured me that the earrings were 100% surgical steel. Today, my ear piercings became infected. When I took the earrings off, there was pus, blood, but also this bright turquoise blue on the earrings. The ends of the posts had turned to a rose gold-ish color. Clearly these were cheaply, PLATED, earrings, and the surgical steel metal had worn out.I called them to alert this, and see what they could do. The least they could offer are new earrings that are the correct ones, but no. They decided to place blame on me for using rubbing alcohol to disinfect, saying I went against guidelines and asked a bunch of redundant questions. ABSOLUTELY INFURIATING. No, I didn’t change earrings since they said it would take 6 months+ to heal and they told me to keep them on. They never said NOT to use rubbing alcohol, they said they recommend this other disinfectant product. ALSO RUBBING ALCOHOL DOES NOT DAMAGE SURGICAL STEEL. F-ing google it if you don’t believe me. You know what oxidizes to blue/green and is a pinkish metal color? F-ING BRASS.I really don’t appreciate their half fast apology, their lack of follow through or customer care, or their insulting remarks directing the blame at me. The way that they handled this whole situation was absolutely terrible and absurd, and it was gravely disappointing. I’m considering legal action for their malpractice, bc people do not deserve to be treated this way.

It was nice they were accommodating and knowledgeable made us feel comfortable getting first piercing.

I always come get my piercings here. I have been since I was 18 lol. Im 24 now and the new piercer is a lot more reliable than the one they had back then lol. Ive gotten my tongue, eyebrow, anti brow and nipples done. Always professional, always clean supplies, communication about piercing care is always clear and straight forward. I plan on coming back for snake bites and maybe something else, I never know and get a last minute idea and the piercer is always cool about it.

Stumbled upon this tattoo shop yesterday and they were all super professional and friendly. I got my nose pierced my Michael and he made sure first i was happy with the placement before doing it. Will definitely come back soon.

I dont know who did the artThey are showing... but this is by far the worst tattoo shop I have ever been to! I have over 16 tattoos And all I can do is cry when I look at the one I got at this shop! I went to get a new tattoo on the anniversary of my parents and she going here ruined my day And my body for life! Please take serious caution going to this shop!!!!

I’m very sensitive to pain so after the nose piercing I didn’t feel to good, my piercer was very patient and overall the piercing came out great! was very clean and very friendly

Yes Ive noticed others with tattoos. If it makes you feel better then get one but Im not in love with tattoos. However I find them remarkable in creativity.

Their shop is so clean, and they are incredibly professional and kind. They also have 2 pups that are little sweeties and so lovable. Highly recommend this shop. I went to get some piercings and it was quick and painless. Max helped me out, he’s great

About two years ago, Finger tattoo. The guy had 0 patience, moving all over the place, I told him 5 times “i want it extremely thin” instead of telling me he didn’t have that kind of needle, He was like “no worries , I got you” the tattoo ended up looking like a five year old drew it. The only one of my 15 tattoos that I completely dislike. After not learning my lesson, I went back for two cartilage piercings, the man that did it was lovely, very patient and nice but unfortunately even after taking care of it over months, it was a messy job and got badly infected. Went to so many piercing places afterwards that told me “whoever did this to you, did a horrible job”

These guys were great! My friend and I walked in when they opened hoping to get our ears pierced. $25 a lobe, not too crazy. They did it quickly and the guy that did my ears really took his time trying to find the right spot to poke.

I cant even explain how much I love this place! Excellent customer care, polite, clean, positive and soooo TALENTED. Im from out of town and went in to get 3 piercings and a half sleeve. If I lived here I would have them do all my tattoos. Caveman is the go to guy for any shade work.

Got my nose pierced here couple months back, guy was nice, place was clean and it was quick and painless. Piercing didn’t get infected. What more can I say, it’s a good place to go.

I had a traditional style Rose done on my inner forearm by Ray back in Dec. Beautifully done. Very clean and professional place. This was my first fairly large piece and I couldnt be happier with it. Ill definitely be back. Saludos Rockabilly Ray!! You rock!

Got my ears pierced here with my cousins. They’re very professional and pricing is reasonably reasonable. Definitely coming back to get more piercings.

When I got there I had to wait a hour to be seen to tell them what I want. The customer service sucks, but my tattoos came out awesome. I want go back cause all the dogs that was running around in there. Not a clean place.

Everytime Ive come here for a piercing they were always amazingly friendly and thorough with how to take care of my piercing afterwards and even helped me take care of an absolutely terrible piercing job I got from another shop

My tattoo looks great. Just what I wanted. Wish I could remember the artists name. Kind of pricey, but its LA, so that was expected. Wasnt a fan of having dogs walking around the shop and a liter of newly born pups chilling on a towel right beside me. I love dogs, but that seemed a little unsanitary.

I went to get a septum piercing and not only did it hurt which it shouldnt, but it came out crooked. Not doubtingThe shop on its other stuff but now I have to wait for my nose to heal and get it somewhere else

Just got two new conch piercings. Very thorough and fast and pleasant. The dogs are really charming and sweet for the environment.

Walked in and was helped quickly , they were very friendly! really nice art work 🙏🏽 I got a surprise tattoo with my sister and both turned out great.

Went to get a septum peircing and it was crooked and he went through my cartilage. Plus it was over priced for the job he did. He didnt even feel inside to see where the sweet spot was.

Go see the guys at the shop theyll do their best to accommodate....

Im from out of state and searched for a local shop and came across Tinta Rebelde. Nice people, good atmosphere and overall great work.

Eso pierced me. He was super sweet and gentle, I didn’t even flinch. They got me right in and were super accommodating!

Clean environment. Was my first ear piercings, and they did a great needle job.
