The reviews about Scooby are all true!! He truly is the best! We took our 8 year old to get her ears pierced. As you can imagine she had a hard time but Scooby was so patient & understanding. I cant highly recommend him enough!

I came to get a nostril piercing. I was immediately greeted when I came in! Such a wonderful, and clean atmosphere. Pricing was very reasonable. Scooby did my piercing and he was great he explained everything before he did it & explained aftercare. I had look at so many other places but I’m so glad I came here! I’ll definitely be back.

Let me tell y’all something Scooby is the cleanest, and the nicest guy ever. He have patience and will talk to you step-by-step, and he’s super fast. Almost 3 years ago my husband of 25 years was dying of severe burns over most of his body up at Vanderbilt burn center in Nashville. I was beside myself to say the least. I knew I was going to have to be strong and brave from here on out. I went to see Scooby for my septum piercing, I had always wanted it but was too scared. But I had to be brave right? I cannot begin to describe the comfort or the care that I received. Scooby is more than a piercer or a tattoo artist he is a beautiful human being quite possibly an angel right here on Earth. My husband passed away two days later, thank you so much Scooby for helping me prove to myself that I could be brave and strong.

So glad I found this shop! Jeff and Scooby are always kind and helpful. I never call ahead but always feel welcome and never have to wait more than 10-15 minutes. Ive only gotten piercings and my jewelry changed out here but definitely interested in getting ink done at some point. Shop might be small but its clean!Definitely would recommend this shop.

Kind of late posting here but! I’ve been coming back to this shop over the past few years. No doubt the best vibes and experiences I’ve ever had. Thomas who checked us in and got us situated was very kind. Scooby did my Monroe back when I was 16 and did a great job then and still very nice! Currently working on a sleeve right now and everything is done by Jeff. Not even lying,he is the absolute best! He is so stinking kind/laid back and his art is always so clean. My fiancé has also started seeing him and the pieces he did on his calves were executed perfectly. He is definitely staying my tattoo guy! Also, he just recently done my other nostril piercing and his septum,both looking fantastic! Jeff knew exactly where the sweet spot was! Will be visiting again soon in the next few weeks for another tattoo. Super excited!

Took my little girl to get her ears pierced and Scooby did an amazing job. He was friendly, yet professional, and made her feel at ease. My sister-in-law and I had our noses pierced, and our piercer had almost 20 years of experience, was extremely quick and good at what he did, funny as hell, and also pretty cool to talk to. Most of my tattoos have been done here (including my first when I turned 18). Jeff is awesome and always does great work for a fair price. I’ve also had two piercings done by Scooby here. Very clean environment. I always send people asking for a good tattoo/piercing studio here because it’s great quality and the staff isn’t pretentious like some other shops I’ve been to.

I’ve been to Archangel a few times for piercings and just recently went for a tattoo. The environment is always clean and welcoming. Scooby has done my last few piercings and Mike did my most recent tattoo. I love the energy in this place compared to others I’ve been to in Nashville and Columbia. I’ll obviously be going back in the future.🙂

I called looking for a spacer to go into my daughters septum that way she could cheer. The gentleman that was on the phone was very rude and said that they were no good and was trying to sell me something more expensive than what I needed! Yes sir youre on Old Old Hickory Rd. I would never lie or try to make somebody look bad! The gentleman that I spoke with told me that they do not work they cause infections and that my daughter should be able to flip her horseshoe up into her nose. She could not do that because she had a little nose and yes he was trying to get me to buy something else at the store. Im not saying anything bad about the tattoos Ive never had one done out of there and I would never want anyone to think about my review that yall are bad Im just going by the experience I had on the phone about a piercing. As far as the other place Ink Gallery I know them theyve done a tattoo and theyve pierced mine my brothers and my daughter all I said about them was they had it but I had to wait until the piercer came in and she did not come in till after 3:00 and I needed it before then. I took my dudes name off. I dont have to discredit yall because Ive Just Seen A lot more reviews about you guys and trust me Im not the only one out there that had a bad experience!

I got a belly button piercing from Thomas, it was my second time doing it and best experience I ever had getting a piercing he was so fast, literally pain less somehow. Genuinely the best person to go to.

Scooby was awesome with piercing my nose but when I returned a week later he had nothing for me to chose from for the tattoo we discussed the week prior. He told me if he did what I was asking I could never tell anyone he did it. I couldnt have him putting work on me he would not be proud to own. It was crowded for the small area they have available with most everyone not wearing masks.

My first experience here and my visiting friends and I are extremely pleased. Thomas opened the shop promptly at noon. We had only been waiting a moment knowing what time they opened. He was very helpful and professional. Jeff arrived. Shortly later with a full schedule and got us in in an appropriate manner. We expected to have to wait longer. But he did a fantastic job when we came back. The place was very clean! The people were very professional! And it was all in all a great experienc. No complaints. Not a one!!!

Jeff did an amazing job. He has done 2 of my favorite tattoos. His movement is smooth with makes the pain of the tattoo more tolerable. Hes friendly and puts on nice chillwave music instead of just hours of death metal. He works fast. Ive never needed a touch up. The facility is nice. Its homey inside.

I absolutely love this place! Scooby was SOOO kind! I took my 11yr old daughter in for second sets of ear piercing for her birthday, and she was afraid bc her first ones were done when she was a baby and she thought it was going to be really painful. He was funny and made her smile and explained everything to her and calmed her down with such ease. What a kind man! If you have a small child and want EXCELLENT piercing , go here. Just bring your childs birth certificate and youre golden!

He cares about his clients and made sure to give in depth aftercare instructions, as well as a paper so you dont forget what you need to do to make sure you take care of your piercing while it heals & it doesnt get infected. I really appreciate his straight forward personality and how real of a person he is. That is hard to come by now days. He was very kind, patient & cared unlike other places I have been to. I have had pericerings done before other places and no other place showed the knowledge and professionalism he showed. I would deffinely recommend you come here for your piercings. Got one of my nostrils, my medusa, and my tongue pierced here. they were super informative on the aftercare and because of them, i never had any issues with any of the piercings! they made me feel super comfortable and were super clean and thorough. i recommend them to anybody who tells me they want a piercing but don’t know where to go. they’re great!

Will never go anywhere other than Archangel for my future tattoos. The shop is so neat and clean and I really love how small and intimate it is. I now have 3 pieces from Jeff including my half sleeve-in-progress. He is so great at listening to your suggestions/ideas and coming up with the perfect pieces. 100% would recommend.

Ive had 2 piercings one by Scoob and one by Jeff and 2 tattoos by Jeff. Awesome experience both times. My 17 yr old got her first piercing there today and as mom, I have to say Jeff did amazing with her. She got a little scared when it was time to actually do it and he handled it really well. Got it over and done with and didnt give her time to freak herself out even more. I wont go anywhere else!

After several attempts at other tattoo places, I finally went into Archangel after reading the reviews. I was met by a very welcoming staff, listened to for my ideas. They quickly set me up an appointment. I just had my tattoo done by Jeff and couldnt be happier. Excellent work, happy to have him tattoo me again. Will definitely go back for my future pieces.

Scooby (piercer) was absolutely amazing with my daughter (4) who was determined to get her ears pierced. This was a much better choice than one of the untrained, unlicensed people at a mall kiosk or Icing. Super clean and super sanitary. Plus he talked with my daughter in such a kind and calming way.

This place is great. The guys there are straight and to the point. They do great work and are probably running the most affordable place to get tattoos and piercings done in Middle Tennessee. I cant recommend them highly enough! Go there for your next piece, you wont be disappointed.

My experience at archangel custom ink was nothing short of perfect. I have some anxiety about tattoo shops because of past negative experiences but Archangel has put all of my worries at ease. Every artist I have interacted with at this shop has been courteous, welcoming, and considerate of my specific design ideas and requests. I could not recommend this place enough if you are looking for a shop full of professionalism, talent, and comfortable vibes. I also have to shout out Courtney French, she has done a great job on several of my tattoos and my daith piercing!

I will not go to any other place besides Archangel for any type of piercings. Everyone is so comforting and professional, and its a fun time that takes away from any pain. My daughter wanted to get her ears pierced for her 10th birthday, and I was somewhat skeptical of the kids jewelry stores that most people go to. After a LOT of research, I decided to take my daughter to the professionals. I called several very reputable tattoo artists and asked for recommendations and was directed to Scooby at Archangel Tattoo Studio. I had already read some of his reviews online so this just verified his reputation in my mind. Long story short, Scooby was awesome. He was very nice and explained what he was going to do in a gentle and clear way. He used needles, not guns, and everything was very sanitary (it took 20 minutes just to sanitize the earrings in the autoclave). My daughter shed no tears and was very excited to have her ears pierced. I was very excited to know it was done by someone who probably pierces more ears (etc...) in a week than the sales person at Claires pierces in a year. Very highly recommended.

I need two tattoos covered up and did A LOT of research on who was the best. This place kept coming up in my research. So I went and talked with them. Not only were they super nice but they worked with me on the design. Now I have two awesome tattoos and everyone says they cant even tell I had another tattoo. I LOVE THEM! They are very professional and down to earth. I refer everyone to them.

I walked in feeling nervous about getting my nose pierced. Scooby helped me feel at home and the staff were very welcoming. The pricing is reasonable. Everything was very clean and sterile. Scooby explained everything he was going to do and answered all my questions i had. As he was doing the piercing he told me exactly what he was about to do. On 4/20, I faced my fears and went and got my tragus pierced. I must say Scooby did an amazing job educating me on the piercing and assisting me in facing my fears. I was by far impressed with the way he handled a nervous and fearful customer.After having it a couple months, I noticed a bump appearing so I contacted the shop and spoke with Scooby. He asked me to come in and he examined the piercings and educated me on how to get rid of the bump. I’m so grateful that even after getting my piercings, I can contact them to assist me with the healing process.

Couldve had a better realism tattoo artist... But overall very nice guy and great service. Been here 3 times. Once for my black rose tattoo. 2x for my lip n tongue rings. The piercer guy is really nice and pretty funny. He helps keep you relaxed and gets it done quick.

WONDERFUL AND FRIENDLY STAFF ! now and days it’s hard to find a tattoo shop with staff that are like this . i didn’t even get my piercing done here and i called and needed help with a infected piecing and they answered all my questions with no problem and the next day my piercing was completely healed ! i was told if i needed anything else to come see them for them to look at it ! 5STAR ABSOLUTELY NOTHING BAD TO SAY !

Terry was my artist and he covered up my stupid martian tattoo with exactly the one I wanted. Im from Michigan and was only in town for a few days and he managed to fit me in the schedule and hook me up. I got a tattoo on my ankle. It needed to be touched up pretty soon. I have 4 other tattoos that didnt need any more work. I made several attempts to come back and get it retouched as they assured me they are offered for a year after. I was only met with excuses and ultimately had to get another tattoo shop to get it retouched it.

Scoot pierced my daughters ears and he was great and the price was reasonable. I’d recommend :)

I’d definetly try your luck elsewhere for peircings. Along with my own poor experience I’ve actually heard from multiple people who have been here and another peircing place that has had to fix the botched peircings. That these guys aren’t very reputable.
