Banter by Piercing Pagoda

Dont shop here- bought a fairly expensive necklace as a gift and the chain broke less than a month later. went back, I had the protection plan/warranty and had to then pay more for a different chain. No options of equal value were presented to me. Also had a very unprofessional/rude comment made to me and that is what prompted this review.

My daughter just had her ears pierce by Rae and she was fantastic! My daughter was crying and nervous and she did her best to calm her down and was very patient. We are very happy!

WONDERFUL!!! both my girls (8yo and 3 yo) got thier ears peirced with Mrs. Rae! 1st time in thier lives. Mrs. Rae was so sweet, kind, and gentle. Definitely recommend Banter and Mrs. Rae! Thanku! GOD bless.

If I could give zero stars I would. The staff was not helpful at all and a bit curt. We went to Claires and received top notch service. This place had 2 people working neither helpful. Claires had one person working and she worked the very busy store while caring for customers waiting for piercings with a smile.

Ms. Rae had a pleasant attitude and dedication to her work. So easy to shop with. Keep her!

We were helped by 2 workers and they were so sweet. My daughter loved the girl that gave her, her 2nd piercings. We will be back for more!

Overall this place has cute and affordable jewelry . One complaint would be to be staffed. I waited about 20 minutes to purchase jewelry since there was no one there. I asked the surrounding stores if there was a someone who worked here or if it was closed. She informed that the worker left and would be back soon. It took about 20 minutes for a staff to arrive which was almost close to closing. I understand that sometimes we need a break but it’s unprofessional to have a customer waiting for almost 20 minutes to purchase something by only having one staff working.

Both Cameron and Silvia had excellent customer service and were very patient as well as informative. I asked Cameron if both lobes could be pierced at the same time and he said yes then he quickly called his associate to help. Although my 2-year-old was not at all thrilled about the experience at the moment, she hasnt stopped talking about how pretty her earrings are. They did an awesome job and the placing of the piercings is perfect! I would recommend them to anyone in the area ☺️

If I could 0 stars I would. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE! I bought some earrings for my daughter when I put them on her the pearl fell off, so I went to get it exchange, again putting them on the second pair broke again!!! So I asked for my money back they only gave me 14 dollars when the earrings cost 50 on top of that they didn’t give me MY receipts back because the sales person said it was theirs ??? Bad customer service. They stole my money.

If I could give zero stars I would I bought a necklace for my daughter about a month ago. Sadly the necklace broke, luckily I bought the warranty. Only to find out they had given me a 20” chain but on the receipt it was listed as a 16”. Forgive me I don’t walk around with a ruler in my pocket. Come to find out the assistant manager Jennifer I think her name is, is the one who sold me the chain now I’m being told that it can’t be fixed. The chain has the pagoda stamp on the jewelry and I have no other purchases in the system. If the assistant manager would get off her phone long enough she’d know what she’s doing!!!!

Very bad. I went to get it done and they chose the smallest earring possible— story coming soon— and they would not talk while doing it. My earring went in my ear and I had to go to several hospitals to get it removed— not fun. Also was very dirty. They did not really clean their supplies after me and my sis was getting her ears pierced after me and they wiped it and then did hers. My ears were infected and hurt to tuch. Overall I would not recommend

They were low on products, the service is good. They replaced my moms necklace free of charge. I was greatful for that.

Not really sure if Piercing Pagoda is a wise choice for piercing. Went 3 times in a 15 months to have the same ear repierced because the earrings came out. The earrings are expensive so therefore each time youre paying $60-$80 for the repiercing & earrings. The last person stated it takes a year before your piercing is okay, seriously dont believe her. I feel if you are interested in piercing - search for a place that actually perform the service without any hiccups. I wasnt satisfied with the Manassas location.

I got my ears pierced here about 3 years ago, and my ears still havent healed completely! The place wasnt very sainitary and the people there were very impatient and rude towards me. I was very jumpy because I hate pain (but still wanted a second piercing) so they did the first ear okay, but for the second one she did it very quickly and at an angle (so now when I put in earring in for that peircing it has to go in a weird angle inside my earlobe). For almost two years after it would bleed very easily and was very painful to the touch for almost the entire first year. The cleaning solution they gave me, actually made it worse, once I stopped using it, my ears started to finally heal a tiny bit. I could go on forever about the pain and nusicance these peircings has been for the past few years, but the point is that this place isnt very porfessional or clean and youd be better off spending your money at a better place like Claires or a tattoo shop. (Also, piercing guns are very bad for cartilage piercings so if thats what youre looking for definetly go to a tattoo shop where they do piercings using needles)

There is a black lady who was very rude as soon as you approached the stand customer service 0 the ear piercing comes with a warranty you never going to use if you ask to remove they tell you it comes with it I know is a lie and they aslo charge for the solution i don’t need cause i have at home basically the $50 earrings comes to $75 after all that worse place I recommend clairs ear piercing
