Medusa Body Piercing

Went in on Labor Day this past week to get my left daith pierced hoping for it to help ease my migraines. Chloe, was very patient, kind, thorough in explaining everything in detail for me to understand, and gave me her best recommendations which I couldnt appreciate more. The young lady (Im sorry I forgot her name) who performed the piercing on me did an excellent job and her technique was fantastic. I did get my nose re-pierced 7+ years ago here - Ive always left a happy customer. I also needed to purchase some new studs for my cartilage piercings and they have a great selection of hypoallergenic jewelry. My boyfriend was also assisted by another employee and has been very happy with his hypoallergenic earrings since. I highly recommend Medusa to anyone who wants to get a piercing as they have fantastic customer service. I always suggest to make sure you do your research prior to walking in as every company has their own procedures, protocols, and guidelines they are required to follow which I highly respect. Thank you again to the entire staff at Medusa! Ill definitely be returning for my right daith piercing as soon as this one is healed up! 10/10 highly recommend!

I just got both of my earlobes pierced here, awesome experience! They were all so friendly and welcoming and answered all of my questions beforehand. Then, when the time came, they brought me into a private room and two of their piercers came in. I don’t remember their names, but they were awesome! Very understanding of my anxiety disorder and helped calm me throughout the whole thing. It really didn’t hurt bad at all, and they look beautiful! I’d recommend Medusa to anyone!

Horrible experience. Waited all day for two piercers to be on to get my daughters ears pierced just to be told they wont do both at once. Then they charged me 73 dollar for my piercing walked me out back and said oh we dont do that sorry. Not sure why they let me fill out all the paperwork I was clear about what I wanted. After being frustrated I was met only with attitude and refusal to then pierce my daughters ears also, because I said great lets get the screaming started. 0 out of 0 stars left screaming in the cashiers face, awesome waste of my time*thank you for your lengthy and incorrect response. There was a misunderstanding between your staff on what is being offered for piercings, vs what the person working out back would do. Thats no fault of mine. My frustration was quickly met with attitude, no helpful or calm alternatives were offered, she stated so pick somewhere else or ill do what you just said you didnt want pierce through your cheek And I didnt want that or anything else. In response to my frustration with the return and length of our visit at this point, she spitefully refused to pierce my daughters ears just because she can refuse whoever she wants. None of that was due to a misunderstanding on my part. It was poor customer service, it was clear we had a bad experience already and the appropriate response would have been to politely finish what I already paid for and let us leave, instead of escalating the situation by refusing just because she can

My friend needed 4 piercings in her ear because her holes had closed over. I looked up this place using google and chose it based on the reviews alone.Best decision I’ve ever made. Ever.The staff here- EVERY SINGLE ONE- were the MOST helpful service staff I have encountered ANYWHERE. Friendly, helpful, accommodating and kind.I really couldn’t say enough about how amazed I was. All the staff had amazing tattoos and were quick to make recommendations on female artists and even wrote down their artists IG pages for me.The piercings came out perfectly and the aftercare instructions were explained in detail.I would rate this shop ten stars if I could- the experience was THAT good.Also- TIP YOUR PIERCER - it’s a service.Special shout out to Mars and their incredibly generous spirit.And yes- Medusa is in a mall- but don’t let that worry you- they are all consummate professionals.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Incredible experience because of Chris!! My 3.5 year old decided it was time to get her ears pierced (I didn’t know if she would actually go through with it). After researching different places we settled on Medusa. We picked out earrings (with Chris’s help) and we were ready. As soon as it was time, my daughter started to change her mind and get scared. Chris was so encouraging and thoughtful… walked us through the process step by step and got down on her level to explain what would happen. We would have most likely not gone through with it if it weren’t for the amazing Chris! Thank you- we are so happy with our new earrings!!

They will make you pay and then have you wait 1.5 half. Then tell you an hour, and it’s still longer..Why wouldn’t you have someone pay right before the piercing or even after?They also don’t ask what size bottle for the cleaner, just gave me the large size in a bag without asking or letting you know the charges.It cost $71 to get my daughter ear lobes pierced.One girl at the counter clearly had no customer service experience.I’m rating one star because one of the piercers were very nice.Don’t go here it’s expensive, not customer service friendly, and I find it sketchy how they have you pay, how long you wait, and not being clear on prices and such.Don’t go here.

There is one piercer there that I liked and that really took their time, so that’s why I’m giving them a couple of stars because she did a good job on my septum.I got my daith done almost a month ago with a different piercer and have been on 2 rounds of antibiotics since. I ended up going to a different piercing shop because I thought something was off, and it turns out they pierced my daith completely wrong and i had to have it removed. I tipped her really well, so it stinks that this happened. I don’t think I will be back.

One of the piercers went home due to sickness, so my young daughter could not get her ears pierced. The young lady at the register apologized and gave me a coupon for $5 off. She asked if we could go to the store in Salem. She called and made sure there were two piercers and let them know we were on our way. I didn’t want to bring her to a place where they learn on teddy bears. I wanted a professional to pierce them.I have also had piercings done here. Everyone has always been so friendly and professional.I would absolutely recommend going here.

So i’ve been there before and it was a grate time BUT this time it was an hour and a half wait i waited then come to find out the girl never put me down to get it done. annoyed got there at 2:50ish had to wait till 4:00 for the piercer fine with that went back at 4:00 told it would be 40 minute wait fine with that went back at 4:30 ish waited till 5:28 my mom asked how much longer they realized one of them messed up. i do understand it was a busy day but i sat there and the girl knew who i was and saw me and said nothing and did nothing

Lovely workers… I just got my daith and my rook done and they were very patient. Only a 45 minute wait, so we got to shop around and come back right in time. Minimal choices for jewelry, but who is really that picky when it comes to the first piercing jewelry? Overall great place, and very clean which you don’t usually see here in NH. I’ve had 2 piercings done here now. I figured the first one was a fluke. The experience was great. Barely felt any I pain. But they put a straight bar through my daith and it fell out multiple times. I had to go to another piercer to get it swapped and it healed fine. I went back and got my conch done a few days ago. I’ve had severe pain in my ear and it’s super red. I went to my local piercer and he told me that the jewelry is cheap and that the piercing wasn’t placed properly. Not only that he said the post they put in was too short and my ear was going to swallow the ball on the back. I had to get the jewelry swapped again to a flat back. The experience at Medusa is nice. Very clean and welcoming. The staff is so nice and it’s painless. But the results aren’t worth it.. I’m sorry.

We waited outside their door before they opened and they saw us standing there and waited until 10 minutes later to tell us the peircer wouldn’t be there for andother hour. This was after the first time we went and they told us we couldn’t get a piercing because she didn’t have the ear for it. We went somewhere else and will never be going back here.

This is the place I trust to do my teens piercings. Its clean and has very knowledgeable, professional piercers. Great company. Im personally not interested in getting piercings, but if my teens are going to do it, I want it clean and safe. Medusa never disappoints.

I was looking for something I had no knowledge of and someone (I didnt catch their name) but they had short hair and had wicked cool goth boots on was wicked sweet and nice and helped me get what I was looking for, was in there for under 10 mins, great place!

I’ve come here a handful of times for different piercings, and i’ve always had an amazing experience. until yesterday. yesterday i came with my friend, both hoping to get piercings. we checked online tomake sure they were open, but when we got there at 4:30 they weren’t piercing anymore. we walked in to look at jewelry anyways and the 2 girls behind the counter instantly started giving us dirty looks, making me and my friend uncomfortable. my friend then went to the counter to ask for advice on a piercing she did herself, and the two employees instantly shifted from slightly rude to completely rude. they explained the they can’t give advice because they can’t be liable (which is understandable since she did it herself) and wouldn’t even look at me or my friend in the face. one of the girls was making faces at us and looking at her coworker while making faces too. it was so uncomfortable and the customer service was so unfriendly. i won’t be coming back anymore

I had been considering having my ears pierced for about a year and finally decided to do it last week. The experience was so easy and comfortable. The shop was well lit and super clean. The woman who registered me made sure I knew what was going to happen and also was detailed in describing aftercare. The piercer made it a quick and relatively painless procedure. I would very much recommend this shop.

The piercer is inexperienced. Went to get my second eyebrow and its completely butchered. Went with 3 other friends only 2 came out decent, my friends septum is crooked.

I got my vch piercing here and they restored 80% of my sexual sensation lost due to medication. staff is lovely. Clean very professional facility. 10/10 would recommend 10/10 will return

I cannot rate this establishment low enough. We got our 9 year olds ears done here last year and it was an amazing experience so we returned to do her second holes and it was awful. The people who work there now have horrible attitudes and terrible bed side manner (with the exception of 2). We went Saturday and didn’t have her birth certificate so we returned Sunday and showed the certificate and were told it was an hour wait and that they don’t make appointments. We called Monday to ask when they would have 2 piercers available and arrived 45 mins prior to that time and were told very rudely that they don’t have piercers for another 45 mins and do not take appointments. We returned at the time they stated and the 2 people we spoke to were both extremely rude and told us they can only accept the state issued birth certificate. Regulations are regulations but there’s no reason to be so rude. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced, don’t go here for piercings.

I always go to Medusa’s for piercings and the two girls I used to see regularly were fantastic. Today I saw a different piercer who kinda seemed annoyed and inconvenienced by me. I was booked as a measurement but I still needed a change out since I didn’t bring my own jewelry. I’ve never had an issue with that all being done at the same time. I’d get an opinion then the piercer would just get me whatever and I’d pay after, it’s been no issues. Today was super awkward the piercer and the girl who was scheduling seemed confused and was talking about taking another client between me just getting a piece of jewelry, I had already waited 20 minutes. The change out was quick and painless but I felt like I was being spoken to in a condescending tone.Probably won’t go back if that’s the only girl on now

Ive had several piercings done here (nostril, septum, lip, and naval) and have had a terrific experience every time. The staff is always friendly, and the piercers are very knowledgeable. Im always provided with a sheet describing in great detail what optimal care looks like, such as how often it needs to be cleaned, what to avoid, how long it takes to heal, etc. Even though theres been different piercers, I know I can come back here and expect the same experience every time. I think it goes without saying, but I will definitely be back in the future!

Although the staff were pretty nice, I had my gauges checked to see what size they are and the lady who sold me my gauges sold me the wrong size just after sizing my earrings. And obviously you can’t get a refund or try them on before you leave for good reason. I’m just dissatisfied because I really like the gauges but can’t even size up with the ones they sold me which are too big. I’ll show the size I had before (that I brought in to get checked) and the size they sold me.

I have come here previously and had an ok experience, but after this it’s safe to say I will never be coming back. I was given this conch piercing, and as it is not my first cartilage piercing, I am very careful about regularly cleaning my ear, not sleeping on it, everything. However, this was merely 4 days later, and the bar was so short that the back ball was nearly being covered by the skin on my ear, and my ear had nearly doubled in size. The pain was so severe from the pressure that I was almost constantly taking ibuprofen and needed to take medicine to help me sleep at night. None of this was my own doing, as I said, I am experienced in caring for cartilage piercings, I was even complemented on how well my year old rook piercing had healed.I ended up having to go to a different shop, no way I would trust this trash, and they put in a much longer bar, with a flat back so it could not get pulled into the skin, thoroughly cleaned the piercing, and I could not be happier. They even charged considerably less. I have had good experiences here in the past but DO NOT RISK IT. Something like this could happen to you too, go to a more professional place, I personally recommend Capital City Tattoo in Concord.

The staff is fantastic, and all my piercings form here have come out phenomenal.

Dont go here for piercings they literally tightened my snake bites so much I couldnt get them out not only that when I asked them over the phone to take them out they were so money hungry that they wanted to charge me $10 for there mistake, so I had to cut out the piercings myself it took me 1 hour and 15minutes. Also not the first time they didnt take there responsibility they gave me broken earings and made me pay full price for new ones and told me they cant exchange the earrings. Dont come here to this piercings store just go to a local tattoo/piercings shop for theres better results there. Check the photos for evidence this is a real review, plus the owner of the shop i met him he dosent care for his customers.

After calling to confirm service, age and hours and driving over an hour for my teenage daughter to get her belly button pierced at a well known Manchester tattoo and piercing shop, we were rudely turned away by them when we arrived. A women ran after us as we were leaving and told us about Medusa, I’m so glad we checked it out!Even though it was a Saturday afternoon and the shop was crowded, we were greeted by every employee we saw. Everyone was friendly and you professional and the shop has a very laid back vibe. 2 women explained the service and checked us in, let us know the wait time and went over aftercare. When it was my daughters turn, the piercer introduced herself, double checked the placement and jewelry choice, then did the piercing in a matter of minutes while she casually chatted with my daughter. Seriously a 10/10 experience! I’m so glad the random lady from Spiderbite chased us down to tell us about Medusa, and will make this our first stop next time the need arises! Definitely recommend!

My 5 y.o. wanted her ears pierced. Cristina was gentle, calming, professional and just wonderful. She explained each step and interacted with my daughter giving her the choices. It was a great experience.

Honestly I’ve been here several times to try to get a piercing. Been turned down 3/4 times and once was given 5$ off for the inconvenience. Theirs a couple lovely employees others are passive aggressive but overall mostly friendly environment. I went for snakebites and the piercer was pretty nice and professional and clean. She didn’t check for vains and definitely hit one. Even she said that it was the most blood she’s seen from said piercing. She then tried to put jewelry that was far to tight in it even tho she said it would acomadate swelling. It did not so I told her I didn’t even want it and got two other piercings. The jewelry she put in my ears where fine until I realized they Arnt even flat back and the bars Arnt even long enough and was pinching my skin. Unfortunately tho my whole lip is swollen and I have a huge bubble of bloood building up inside my lip. And the outside is bruised and it’s very swollen and sore even 7 hours later. Went to urgent care to make sure it was okay or normal and definitely is not. Nothing I can do cause of the waiver and what not but will not go back and would recommend else where.

I got my nose pierced 4 months ago at this location. I live in another town and drove over an hour to change my original piercing. I was extremely nervous to change the nose ring myself. I asked the employee who assisted me if she could. She told me no because Saturdays is their busy day. That would’ve been an extremely fine and valid response if 5 employees weren’t standing behind the cash register counter doing absolutely nothing. No, they were not busy. And, yes, there was absolutely no one in the store at the time. Unfortunately, I will never support this business again!

I went there months and months ago. Asked for two 18g labret flat backs. I trusted them. However I just got new flat backs and tapers in 18g and couldn’t get them through. Had to stretch my piercings back to 18g because the shop sold me 20g even after confirming a few times that they were 18g. So don’t go here for jewelry unless you want them to sell you what they think would be better for you, while lieing to your face in the process

My wife likes the piercing she has gotten...Buy I sit back and pay attention to there devious strategy, first you have to get the piercing in one particular size then the gradual downsizing which cost more and more intil you findly buy gold which was the intended plan all along,then after buying the gold belly ring,and putting the tip in her jar,she says I cant change out your belly intil its been there for 6 months,I was left with a gold belly ring non install,130 dollars,and 5 dollar tip and the install fee,all out the window...Now thats scandalous...

I dont usually leave reviews but I had such a great experience getting my helix piercing. Everyone was really friendly, the person who pierced my ear was professional and she had it done super fast. For anyone looking to get a piercing I would 100% recommend this place!Not painful at all, just an uncomfortable pinch for about 10 seconds. I got it done 3 days ago and it doesnt hurt and it hasnt swelled, but everyone heals different. ❤️

Everyone here was so nice. The piercer walked me through each step before and while she pierced my septum. Its healing really well and was pierced perfectly straight. I definitely recommend going here if you want a piercing, plus they have lots of jewelry options for after your piercing is healed after too.

I got my cheeks pierced at medusa in the Mall of NH, after waiting over a week for the swelling to go down (just in case the swelling was causing this, which it is not) it became glaringly obvious that they’re lopsided. The one in my right cheek is higher than the one in my left cheek, and the one on my left cheek was pierced straight through, but the one on my right cheek was pierced at an upward angle. Needless to say, I am very upset about this. The one on the right side sits way up above my top teeth by my gums inside of my mouth and the one on the left side sits basically at the bottom of my top teeth, so not only are they uneven on the outside, but they are also uneven on the inside. I don’t know why they wouldn’t have just taken a ruler and held it up to my face and put the two dots on that way rather than just playing a guessing game. My advice; do not go here, unless you are getting a simple piercing that is almost impossible to screw up the placement of, or if you are okay with looking ridiculous.

I went here for the very first time, and chose this place for the high ratings/reviews. Unfortunately I didn’t get any names of the girls at the shop but everyone I spoke with that day were all so friendly! All information given to me was knowledgeable & helpful. I was scared going in to get 2 to 3 piercings, and the piercer was so nice and talked me through everything. Yes it was painful but her calm voice made the pain tolerable. Thank you to everyone working on August 27!!

Came here twice to change nose piercing jewelry and were turned down both times. The first time they said they didn’t do jewelry changes 30 mins to an hour before close (we showed up about 55 mins prior to close) and the next time we went on a Saturday and they said they don’t do any jewelry changes on Saturday. Definitely won’t be doing business with them.

The jewelry changing service is inconsistent and subpar. On separate occasions, I was told two different things by two different techs in terms of sterility, jewelry options, and infection risk. I also noticed these techs had inflamed-looking piercings of their own. It’s hard to hear a lecture on infection risk from someone who has icky-looking piercings on their bodies. I will be going to Spider Bite next time.

Perfect septum piercing job! Healed fast, done quickly, done correctly. Cant ask for better. Im pretty sure they also did my eyebrow a long time ago and that is doing well too.

Love this place. Friendly staff, great prices, and I dont have a single complaint about their work. Their staff is also very knowledgeable & considerate as when ever I have any questions theyve always taken the time to talk things out with me. From my snake bites I got on mothers day in 2014 to my guages I got on my birthday in 2022, Ive always been a very happy with my experiences getting stabbed there.

Easy online appointment setup. Everything was beautifully clean and the staff were so sweet and helpful and very well taught and knowledgeable. The piercing itself was a nose and it was done quickly easily and professionally with all brand new and sterilized equipment. They were so well stocked it felt like a drs office! I needed my ears repierced. Medusa offers kind and thorough service with an amazing selection of (mostly glittery but not all) jewelry. The staff were professional and concerned; you could tell they had all discussed aftercare a thousand times but they still actually care. The aftercare products they sell are the sort recommended by the Association of Professional Piercers, at a reasonable price. I would come again.They also have a small but tasteful selection of rosaries, because no one else in the mall sells rosary beads, so why not?

It was a bit of a wait because they were incredibly busy, but I take that as a good sign. Brought my daughter here for her second piercing (the first was a poor experience with Claires) and each employee we dealt with was pleasant and respectful. Im a 40 year old guy with no piercings so I dont imagine its a place I will frequent. However if I ever decide to get my belly button pierced as part of my midlife crisis, this would be first pick.

All my piercing have been done here.. I have literally been going here for over 5/6 yearsKatie/Rachel have pierced me.. but Katie definitely understands me.. shes my favorite!! All the staff is polite well mannered. They are up on all the Covid-19 rules regulations and guidelines.. and follow them to the T!! They also have stylish jewelry that you can purchase not just for your piercings.

I will not be back. I purchased earring jewelry and paid $45. Got home and realized i received the wrong thing. I immediately called, and was told i could get A FULL REIMBURSEMENT of the jewelry i ASKED for. I show up explain the situation. I waited 25 minutes, for them to tell me the BEST they could do was 20% off. That and they didnt even have the jewelry i asked for. So not inly did the employee sell me the WRONG item, im not the one out $45. I will not be back and i would triple check EVERYTHING you buy.

I dont usually take the time to do reviews, but Medusa was absolutely fabulous! They pierced my daughters ears for her sixth birthday and they made her so comfortable with the procedure. I was totally impressed by all the staff and how friendly and patient they were with us despite the fact that the shop was extremely busy. The shop was very sanitary and they also honored our privacy with a private room for the procedure. I would highly recommend this business for piercings.

Yesterday I impulsively wanted my second ear piercing done. I had so many questions about the care and the process of it, and even though they were fairly busy yesterday the associates were extremely helpful. Theres a small woman with face tattoos who took the time to explain everything to me. She answered all my questions no matter how silly :)The woman who actually pierced my ears was so gentle! She talked me through it and made sure I was comfortable, liked the piercing placement, and I was cleaned up and good to go. I just loved the whole process!11/10 would recommend

The titanium piercing stud was cut and bent at a very, very long length and therefore constantly moved around in my nose or hung out of my nostril. This caused swelling and prevented healing that did not resolve until I replaced the stud 2 months earlier than they advised. I called and spoke to the Manager/Piercer about my experience. She was rude, completely dismissive and blamed me. 🤷‍♀️The studio is clean, but you will not get great customer service and definitely DO NOT leave with an excessively long nose stud. It will hamper your healing and this studio will not take responsibility.

Great experience getting my daughters ears pierced. Great care explanations. They reassured my daughter. Super professional yet kind. Very clean facility. Done quickly and correctly. She is one happy little girl.

Went in to try to change up a few of my old piercings with no knowledge about sizing or style and Mars was INCREDIBLY helpful. Had four piercings to change and she answered every question I had. Really great customer service and will be returning because of how delightful my experience was. Thank you Mars!!!!

This place will always be my go to for piercings. The staff is beyond welcoming and are always so sweet. I went in with two of my friends, one of which who was getting pierced as well. The staff did not hesitate to joke around with the three of us and was overall an amazing experience. My friend got her bridge pierced and I got my snakebites pierced, both pierced by Kate. If I could give Kate 10 stars I absolutely would. We were both very nervous and she did a great job at being so friendly and welcoming which definitely helped our nerves. She was super duper quick with the piercings and was so sweet to us the entire time. If you’re looking to get pierced in the NH area, I HIGHLY recommend coming here!!

They were great, long wait, they are popular, try to go during the day, during the week for less wait time.

I got my septum pierced here. It went fine she was really fast and didn’t hurt but since having it done it’s very noticeably pierced too low and not through the sweet spot. I got it done in October and I’ve kept it really well cleaned and kept up on the aftercare but it’s now may and it’s not healed. And not just not healed either; because of the placement the skin around will not heal and there’s an irritation bump that has formed that will not go away. I cannot tell if it’s because of the quality of the metal or the way it was pierced but it’s not pretty. I’ve been wanting to change the metal to see if it’s maybe just that but by the way it’s “healing” I’m worried if I take it out I can’t get it back in. For 65$ I was hoping the metal would be higher grade or I would have at least better placement ☹️ I feel because she did it so quickly she didn’t properly pierce.

Very nice store very organized and clean the ladies were very helpful but if I have to stand there and wait for the employees to get done chit chatting and teehee and haa haaing, to get help, then it doesnt impress me very well its not very good customer service thats the only thing and thats why i took away 2 stars...u have to sell your merchandise to your clientele which means paying attention being atentive especially at the mall when its busy hour...they were very helpful and very polite they just shouldnt make customers wait for them to get done chit-chatting to get help because it wasnt labeled what was titanium jewelry what was surgical steel...you know so I just needed a lot of help new to the certain kind of piercing so yeah other than that it was really clean and a great place to get body piercing jewelry i hope we will see if it works well! Some of the younger generations where not taught to pay attention and new england has horrible customer service i know bc im from new hampshire! We need to teach our children how to treat people in general and if they do great at customer service/hosting thats awesome.. but follow through with the sale until the end thats how you sell! U cannot just great someone and resume chatting with your buddy you work with just saying!

Great experience! My best friend and I are visiting from out of town and wanted matching piercings, but as we both have a few, we weren’t sure what to get. The wonderful staff made excellent suggestions on what would fit our ears (which they totally didn’t have to take the time to do) and we ended up getting something we hadn’t considered AND both doing something we’d wanted for a while! Our piercer was so knowledgeable and quick with the piercings, she was very kind and even changed some jewelry for us! Got my nose pierced here in March-ish. The girl at the front desk was helpful and super friendly. The piercer didnt really talk to me other than to ask what side I wanted the piercing on and if I wanted it repierced in the same spot or not. But the whole experience was great! I was even brought in a few mins before my appt and the piercing only took about 5-10 mins start to finish.

I got my septum done and I kinda turned into a wimp last minute while the piercer was doing the clamps. She was very patient with me and let me have my little wig out. Super nice, super efficient- not only with the piercer but from the staff out front who took the time to full explain things I had questions about. Would definitely go back

I have gone here more then once for piercings and each time was a lovely experience. It is very fast and they are very adaptive to your need. I became very lightheaded after getting my industrial bar and they let me lay down for as long as I needed. I plan to come here for all my piercing needs in the future!

Got my septum done here, the lady with a flower tattoo was amazing, very informative and honest about everything. There was no awkwardness or pain, she explained everything got me out in 10 minutes with a piercing. She applied just the right amount of pressure with the clamp and I didn’t feel any discomfort or pain. She also was patient enough to tolerate my nervousness. Cool place.

I came here to get a helix piercing and Keloid formed. I had to have surgery to remove it because it was irritating and ugly.

Got both nipples done here about an hour ago. Didn’t catch either of the ladies’ names but they were super sweet. The dark haired lady with the flower tattoos on one arm did my piercings. She said she’s been piercing for about 7 years. Took my husband and I back into a little room with a doctor’s office type of table. She marked me up and had me look to make sure they were how I wanted. Had my husband check to make sure. She happily re-marked where we thought one side was a little slanted. We did that about twice until we were happy with how they were marked. She was totally chill and great the whole time. The procedure was quick but she was still steady handed and confident the whole time. Put the clamps on perfectly before the actual piercing part. Not too tight, not too loose. They came out great and she was so sweet and patient. Answered all our questions and concerns. Both ladies gave us great tips and helpful care instructions. I was hesitant to get my nipples done here because of it being a place in a mall instead of a piercing shop but I definitely recommend it.

I am very impressed with this place. Book an appointment online to get some piercings and show up a little early to sign the paperwork. They were all very nice and professional. The piercer made me feel comfortable and answered all of my questions. Will definitely be going back for more. Oh and my piercings are beautiful 😍

I have now gotten my septum, navel, and nipples pierced here. Staff is always professional and deals with my awkward attempts at making smalltalk very graciously. All 3 piercers Ive interacted with have been efficient and clean. Also the jewelry you can buy in the store is awesome. During Covid times you must make an appointment by phone prior to getting pierced and you must wear a mask in the store. You are also limited to 10 people in the store at a time. I would definitely recommend Medusa to anyone looking to get a piercing.

I had wanted a piercing for 4 years up until I actually got it done, and I wish I had still waited & went somewhere completely different. I don’t remember who pierced me, but all’s I know is my navel piercing is VERY obviously crooked & definitely wasn’t worth the upwards of $70 (including after care). The original marking wasn’t where I wanted it, so I had her re draw the top dot & i guess she didn’t realize that moving one marking means you also need to move the other... the experience was definitely something i regret & i wouldn’t go back for any other piercing. i wasn’t going to leave a review, but everybody comments on how crooked it is & i’m just super unimpressed overall.

I got my nose pierced here within the last week and I’ve had nothing but severe pain and my whole right side was swollen and the nose jewelry was too big for my nose it wouldn’t stay down because it kept scrapping the other side of my nose… I had my nose pierced years ago and never had an issue like this. Go here if you want, but I won’t again!

Ive had two eyebrow piercings done here myself, and brought two of my kids for earlobes, and the older just got his eyebrow done, too. The staff have always been courteous and professional, and Christina has done all of the piercings. Shes been great -- no fuss, and very little pain. And pricing is very competitive -- our eyebrows were $20 less than a shop in Portsmouth that wouldnt even see my son until hes 15. Medusa is an extra drive for us, but I dont think Ill go anywhere else in the future.

My wife and I came in to get a few piercings done. I got both ears pierced and she got a nose piercing. We went in and were gone in less than 15 minutes. Our piercer was quick professional, courteous, and considerate. Im never going anywhere else to get my piercings done. My only issue was, I wasnt able to tip electronically, she deserved something and I never carry cash.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. DO NOT BUY JEWELRY FOR HERE!!!!! I spent $90.00 on a nose ring that broke twice within a matter of 2 hours and they refused to refund me my money and told me I could bring it back the the store AGAIN an they would shop it out to be fixed which who knows how long that would take and if my piercing would close by then. If I’m spending $90.00 on a nose ring it should be good quality and I shouldn’t have to be driving back an forth to the mall every other day to get my nose ring fixed. Emailing with the owner was a disaster super unprofessional in there emails. Horrible quality never pay good money for jewelry here.

Got my first piercing here on Sunday (nipple piercings). The staff was very helpful and friendly. And I cant remember the lady that did the actual piercing but she was great she marked where the piercing would go so I could see and then walked me through everything she did, which helped to relax me and made getting pierced a breeze, would highly recommend them.

The people are nice, I’ve got 2 piercings there no problem. But I got some nose jewelry and I told them my size and they said I was a smaller size without even sizing it or anything. They just looked at it. Now I have jewelry that is smaller than my piercing. Not a big deal but I wish they would’ve actually checked.

Got my 2nd lobe piercings done by Kaitlyn, she and the rest of the staff were very nice and helpful throughout the process. Clean and professional shop that adheres to covid precautions which is appreciated. I booked my appointment online the day before and paid a deposit, arrived a little early to fill out paperwork then was called back. They offer lobe piercing with needles or piercing gun if youre Trypanophobic. Id definitely recommend the needles for reasons too long to list. Only cost a couple bucks more than Claires etc and worth it for sure. Dont forget to tip your piercer!

I got my nose pierced here about 4 months ago the healing time was pretty good I had no infections. And when you go in to get a nose ring theyre pretty inexpensive there about 4 for $10 which is awesome if you think about it theyre either surgical steel or stainless silver because I have not had a problem sets I bought them

I got my 2 year old ears pierced here when she was 6 months! Never had problems with them even though there cleaning method was different then I was used to. Theyre still in her ears!🥰

I came in to buy jewelry for my labret and since it was only a month old asked for a piercers opinion on what size I should do. Was told I couldnt downsize possibly ever cause the size of my lips. Came back in two months later looking for the size I was told by the piercer and was told by two women that basically me thinking I was that size was crazy and were insisting on these shorter ones they had a bunch of that were noticably shorter. They seemed so confident about that that they convinced me to buy seven pieces of jewelry for that. I tried the ring they grabbed and they insisted it would fit even though I said it looks too small and I couldnt even close it in my mouth when trying it on at home. I tried the stud jewelry and it was small but I figured they were professionals they know more than me. In less than 24 hours my piercing was super irritated and when I went to switch it with my longer jewelry to give it a rest I realized not only had the back sunk in but I couldnt see it my piercing it had been swallowed by my lips. So after the painful experience of getting that out I now have seven pieces of jewelry that dont fit my face and a severely irritated mouth and cant use what I spent all that money on-_-

Ive had both sides of my navel pierced(one from Snakebite(nothing wrong) and had to let my body get used to the metal), but every piercing I got by Medusa, healed incredibly well. You can go back and make sure the piercing itself is healing correctly. The techs that pierce you are so gentle and amazing, Ive never went to another place to be pierced, I personally trust Medusa for my piercings. I just got my nose done and they give information about what happens when its healing and what to look out for

Ive had both my nose and helix pierced there previously and the service was fantastic and clean, my piercings have healed well and I appreciate them!However, both myself and my boyfriend have had some off visits where we ended up being sold something that didnt really work for our respective piercings (ex being suggested jelwery that doesnt fit or is borderline impossible to successfully put in etc) or getting some odd healing advice outside of their helpful pamphlets.If you go in to buy jewelry and youre not sure about something or how it works or the easier option if youre knew to changing your jewelry- ask whoevers helping you LOTs of questions to help your purchase be more successful. If you go in for a piercing, know that youre in good hands!

Got three piercings here, was given the wrong jewelry 2 times. when i got my navel done the lady almost pierced me in the wrong spot twice however i wont hold it against her since i believe she isn’t fluent in english. just got my ears done here and despite my extensive aftercare it hurts like heck now that it’s time to change the jewlery. overall not the worst but not the best

Terrible customer service! Went in on 12/6 for a new piece of jewelry and the item I wanted was out of stock...no big deal, the sales associate called another store and would have the item I wanted sent to the Mall of NH store - told me would be a day or two...great! Yeah - NOT so much, have not heard from them 5 days later and when I called on 12/11 spoke to some snippy sales associate who made it clear she had NO desire to help me find out what happened, instead of owning the follow up - she tells me I have to call back the next day - NOPE, NOT going to happen, if you dont want the sale, Im sure I can find some other place happy to help me

I felt rushed choosing a new dermals and the person helping me pointed out my options. I wasnt given any information on the type of metal or plating was used. I am going to have to return due to not having the knowledge either the piercer or person helping assist me has in better quality. I would rather pay more for quality metal then the plated metal currently on my face, causing irritation and pain.

They also have a site which is very helpful when looking for hours or piercing types. On the website they also offer pictures of people who they have pierced to give you an idea of what yours may look like. They walk you through the process when they are piercing you.

She sat me down put gloves on clamped and pierced I swear I was in and out in like 2 min way to quick and not accurate! Not sure what to do now one of the septum holes is litterally 2 inches higher than the other so my piercing is at an angle. I was wondering why she never marked it and didnt let me see it after! Very dissapointed! Less rushing and more accuracy is highly needed here

If you want to keep and value your ears, dont get them pearced here! I went to Medusa roughly 2 years ago and still today they have not healed completely. I have spent a lot of money on products to clean/disinfect them properly, I clean them daily with no positive results. I finally went to a reputable business, after the employee took a quick look at my ears she said whoever pierced my ears used a cheap quality metal earing. And I do remember paying a premium price! I purchased titanium earrings as recommended and in 1 day the difference is huge. Never again Medusa!

My experience was terrible, I went in to get a hoop. They gave me the wrong gauge for a nose piercing, the jewelry wasnt sterilized and the hoop didnt close all the way so it was cutting my nose. In result making my healing process longer and painful. Luckily precision piercing in Nashua was able to fix there mistake but I will never recommend this place or go back again. There jewelry may be cheaper but its not worth it.

I am not usually one to write bad reviews, because I’m the kind of person that can find light in every bad experience. But this is one experience that I am not going to keep under the lid because this about my body and health and well being.I’m one of those gals who has gotten a lot of piercings done. 2 on each earlobe (one pair of which is stretched to a 2g), an industrial piercing, snakebites on my lips, a nostril piercing, a genital piercing. I’ve experienced enough piercings to know what is a normal healing process.On a whim, I decided to get my belly button pierced, right? I was in the mall, decided, hey why not, and how can you mess up a belly button?So I got the piercing done, but immediately after it was done I looked at it I thought to myself, this seems kind of snug. There wasn’t any wiggle room for the jewelry. About 2 weeks later my top hole of the piercing is irritated (and yes, I was indeed doing proper aftercare) to a point where I’m scared it’s infected (luckily it wasn’t), and the top bead was starting to *sink* into the piercing hole and the skin started to heal around the top ball/gem because the barbell was too short.I went to a reputable piercer I normally go to and got it changed out for a larger post that would accommodate for swelling and hopefully it will heal better now. But lesson learned- I am never going to get my piercing done again at somewhere that isn’t a professional at a parlor and certainly not Medusa ever again. (Also. The girl that pierced me had no visible piercings of her own. NEVER TRUST A PIERCER WITH NO PIERCINGS). Why I didn’t just wait to go to my normal piercer, I have no idea, and I regret it now.Reason why I’m giving 2 stars rather than just 1? Well, the piercing process itself was done in a rather professional manner as it should be, everything was cleaned, a sterile, hollow needle was used, piercer used gloves, the piercing itself was quick and easy, all that jazz and whatnot, and the instructions on the aftercare were explained well… and the actual retail store itself doesn’t seem too bad although I haven’t shopped around enough. Just seems like the piercer didnt know what she was doing otherwise.

Got a piercing at the medusa in salem and all it did was keep falling out. I had to keep going back to get it put in paying more money everytime then I tried the Manchester medusa same thing. I can only go on the weekends cause I work and they both complained that they only put them back in on weekdays but they did take me

Been coming here for years and have gotten several piercings here before. I went in today to have my gauges sized, she told me half inch. The gauges I purchased were then a half inch and I left the store with them in and not even 5 steps out of the store and theyre falling out. I went back in and she said theres nothing she could do since they were in my ear. I then said but your employee told me to this was my size and its not, i just spent 15$ she then shrugged her shoulders and said she could give me a discount if I wanted to buy more... Never going back here again. As if it would have put them out of business to give me my money back... Well Ill be sure to spend my money elsewhere next time and put out a bad word for all my friends looking for jewelry, and piercings.

I absolutely love this shop. I didnt like the idea of going to a mall piercing shop,but my friend who has about 8 or so facial piercings got hers done here and convinced me. I have gotten my medusa, my lip,my septum,my cheeks,and recently my belly button pierced here with no problems.they make sure you know the risks and how to take care of your piercings. I bought jewelry from here and they helped me find exactly what i needed and the specific woman that helped me was so excited about my selection and was more than happy to help me even though i felt like a pain buying over 12 pieces of jewlery (i was making a matching set since i have 6 facial piercing,plus tunnels for my ears). Theres only one piercer that i dont quite like and try to avoid,because her lack of piercings makes me nervous.(i know that doesnt mean she isnt professional and knows what shes doing,but still) i love this shop and will only go here for my piercing needs.

First I wanna say I absolutely love this place, the piercers are awesome n fast ive never had a problem with any of my 12 piercings an I recommend going here if your considering a piercing with that said the jewelery here is not as good this is the 4th or 5th time ive purchased jewelery and it broke or wont stay clasped I spent over 300 last week an not 1 but 3 of the pieces of jewelery broke 2 balls broke on 2 different bars then my septum ring wont stay clasped Which I paid 20 for that one piece im upset and now due to the ball breaking my tongue had closed so no more snake eyes im more sad then anything...

Went with daughter to get septum done. It was quick and clean. Only reason for 3 star is because her piercing is not straight .

Destroyed my belly button piercing. Was crooked and off center. Took more tissue than the jewelry could handle so the top ball kept getting pulled into the hole. Terrible experience!
