Marcus is a phenomenal artist and extremely patient and understanding with newer tattoo clients! Marcus helped me realize my design I wanted to the fullest and helped me understand the tattoo process as a whole. I’m so thankful for him and his work as my tattoos are amazingly awesome! Equilibrium is an amazing place to get work done as the atmosphere is fantastic and welcoming to all people. 100% recommend equilibrium.

Ive never felt more comfortable in a tattoo shop! Marcus and everyone in the shop is incredibly friendly and accommodating and just want you to walk away with a great tattoo! Marcus works his butt off for his clients and it shows. Im in the middle of getting a large cover up and hes done a great job of explaining how the elements of the cover up work to conceal the old one keeping me involved in the process the whole time. 10/10 would recommend to anyone getting their first tattoo or if youve gotten a couple already.

Marcus is a great person and a great tattoo artist! He made me feel very welcoming and at ease because it was my very first tattoo! He answered all my questions and was very cool. Will be going back for more! Definitely recommend to anyone wanting a good, Quality tattoo artist!

BEST TATTOO SHOP IN TOWN!!! i could not recommend this place enough. both artists are incredibly friendly and marcus did an INCREDIBLE job on not only fixing two tattoos i previously had done (at another place), but also on the new tattoo that i decided to get. Truly the most TALENTED and friendliest people you will ever meet work right here in this shop. Any time i need a tattoo i know where to go (and you should go too!!!)

Marcus IS the best tattoo artist I have ever been to or seen lasting work that you will not regret. Hes truly the a great person and down to earth. I have known him for over a decade now. You will definitely get what you want from this ink master (my vote).

All my tattoos have been done by Marcus at Equilibrium. The professionalism and atmosphere can only be outshined by the sheer talent. Marcus can duplicate found designs, but also create beautiful custom art and lettering, his pointillism is probably my favorite of all. Everyone is so friendly. The whole experience is comfortable. And they provide great aftercare! They also support local artists by displaying art in their gallery. I will only go to Equilibrium for my tattoo art. Highly recommend!

Everyone here is fantastic. Marcus did a chest piece on a friend of mine and the moment I saw it, I knew I wanted him to do my sleeve. Its been a year and half in the making so far and Im still excited for every appointment. I travel 2 1/2 hours one way for this because its nice to have an artist that is excited to do the work as much as you are excited to have the art.

This tattoo experience has been nothing but phenomenal. Marcus is knowledge and very talented. I will be continuing all my work here.

Okay, I dont even know where to start with this. Ive been going to Marcus for a couple of years now and man, oh man, is he fantastic! Not only is he a PHENOMENAL artist, he is also a pretty great therapist 🤭 if Im being honest, the man knows way too much about me 😅 BUT back to the art, I go in with an idea and he brings that to life and does such an amazing job! We have done a full Disney sleeve, a cherry blossom tree that covers about 80% of my chest and half my neck(that is a coverup I might add), and the amount of compliments I get isnt almost insane to think about! Now we are starting a flower/garden sleeve, and let me tell you, I am not always easy to deal with, and he does a GREAT job 😅 I will ALWAYS recommend Marcus to everyone I meet!

I have been getting tattoos done by Marcus since I moved to KS in 2018. He is an amazing artist and truly listens to what you want. He gives advice and input on how to make your tattoo ideas better than you could ever imagine. Even after moving to DC, I still fly out to get tattooed by Marcus. Their new shop is huge and very cleanly. They also display local artists artwork, some of which you can purchase. I can’t say enough good things about Marcus and Equilibrium tattoo and I recommend anyone looking to get a tattoo to go to them!

From the moment I made the appointment all the way to the end of my appointment, the client service was amazing. I had an idea of what I wanted, and Marcus took it to the next level and made it 1000 times better. The environment is welcoming and friendly. Ive been wanting a tattoo from this place for a while, and now its the only place Ill go to in the future. They are fantastic!

By far my favorite tattoo shop! I’ve been getting a half sleeve done here for about 6 months now and it’s been a wonderful experience. The vibes are so friendly, the artists are extremely talented and fun to be around, and the atmosphere in general is just pleasant. I couldn’t be happier with the work I’ve gotten done and I will always recommend this place to people.

This is the absolute BEST place to get a tattoo. Everything about Equilibrium SCREAMS comforting, inviting, and inclusive. Such a beautiful shop with beautiful people working in it. The talent is UNREAL. 1000/10 would recommend! I encourage everyone to go in and meet these kind souls to see what theyre capable of! They will not disappoint. Not to mention the STUNNING artwork they have displayed in the shop from local artists. If youre looking for a place where you can be your truest most authentic self with no judgement this is the place to be!!!

Both artists at equilibrium are incredibly talented and fun to work with! Marcus, the shop owner is professional but still knows how to have fun with his clients! And Helen is incredibly endearing and a sweet human being! Both of their work is amazing and I would recommend both to anyone!

There is no other shop that I would allow to tattoo me. Marcus did a phenomenal job on a forearm sleeve about 18 months ago, providing a comfortable, safe, and inviting space during the 10 hours I spent with him. So when I had a vision in my head for a leg sleeve (do we call it a sleeve when it’s on a leg? lol) that represents my neurodivergence and complex PTSD, I knew that Equilibrium would be a safe place to share my story. Because I lack all creativity, after sharing my story with Marcus and sharing some images that resonate with me, I am allowing him complete artistic freedom in the piece. I trust his vision completely and have another 30 hours scheduled with him over the next 7 months.I’ve also been tattooed by Helen and she did a spectacular job on my little Lego man.If you are looking for a shop that is safe, especially for the LGBTQ community, and feels like home, but you want an exceptional tattoo, look no further.
