Great experience! I got my tattoo done by Cody. It turned out better than I ever could have expected. The artists do amazing work with color. Clean, professional, and inviting. It was my first tattoo and they kept me calm and Cody checked in on how I was holding up several times throughout the process. The tattoo was perfectly priced and they provide an after care kit with detailed instruction. Would recommend them to everyone I know!!

Marcus was awesome! I wanted to get a tat for my stepdaughter that had just died days before. He was booked out for a couple months but did me a solid And squeezed me in. He did a awesome job! I would definitely recommend him. Ill be back.

My brother, my gal, and myself have all gotten tattooed here and had great experiences. Honest prices, great work, awesome environment all around.

Absolutely awesome experience. I said I would never get a color tattoo but after seeing Codys work I gave it a shot. Marcus ended up doing mine and its one of the most beautiful tattoos I have ever seen. They were friendly, caring, and upfront about the cost. Plus the aftercare kit is above and beyond what other shops have done for me. Wont get tattooed anywhere else from here on out.

I went in there with my ideas for my first tattoos ( I got two, first tattoos) and they were very helpful with explaining the whole process to me because I had 0 idea what to expect.. Both my artist, and the guy who checked me in were super nice, helpful and cool/easy to talk to throughout the whole process. The tattoos came out how I expected, and wanted them to look. Everything was clean, and cozy which was a giant plus for me because some of the other tattoo shops I have looked into are gross, cramped, or both. I would recommend this shop to anyone because the whole experience was great, and I will be returning if I get more tattoos.P.S. If you want stickers they had a pretty big selection of small, medium, and large ones!

The tattoo I showed a picture of what I wanted looked nothing like the tattoo I got. This tattoo got infected and has now broken out into what looks to be like a multitude of small bumps. I have MANY tattoos and this has NEVER happened before.

Marcus did an EXCELLENT job on my tattoo today. The entire staff is so nice and welcoming. Didn’t feel any pressure to have things done a certain way. Marcus is very professional and personable. After my tattoo was done we scheduled an impromptu appointment later in the day for my wife to get her tattoo done. Marcus designed it exactly how she wanted. If google allowed more than a 5 star rating Mashup would definitely get it. Looking forward to my next one already.

I have been going to Mash Up Gallery for almost a year now working on my sleeve. This is the most welcoming tattoo shop I have ever been to. They are very reasonably price, staff is absolutely amazing, and Marcus has done an OUTSTANDING job on my sleeve.

So I just realized, Ive never posted my review 😅This is such a fantastic place to get tattooed, all of the staff are absolutely dope people to be around and are fantastic artists. Ive been getting my sleeve done by Marcus for the past like 8ish months and its never a dull moment and he is the absolute best artist Ive had the pleasure of bringing the art to life on my body. 12/10 recommend!

This is the second time I’ve gotten a tattoo from mash-up and I’ve always gone with Cody because he really takes his time on the pieces I want, as well as have a great attitude/service. I HIGHLY recommend anyone who wants a tattoo to go to mash-up and ask for him!!! You will not be disappointed at all!

I got my first tattoo from this shop and it was not only a comfortable and relaxing place to be but Marcus takes great pride in his work and will help to make the tattoo look as good as it possibly can. Love the shop, love the employees, and love the work. Absolutely will be back!

I went from just wanting one tatto to a whole sleeve plus another piece as I was so impressed!So I feel the need to add to my review, since I’ve been there several times and will continue to go. If your looking for a totally different experience, if you want to be treated the right way, if your looking for the best art work, if you need someone to work with you...this is definitely the place to go. All the other places you’ve been and the prices you’ve paid and the experiences you’ve had won’t touch this place! You’re missing out if you have stopped by!

I’ve been going to mashup for the last three years for tattoos. Freya did many of my tattoos while She was there and Marcus has done all my color tattoos. Always great energy when I go in there and they always help me create the best possible tattoo I can get.

Its been a couple years since I recieved my tattoo and everytime I look at it I remember how much I hate it. I shouldve known when I heard the main tattoo guy talking badly about the tattoo I wanted. I changed my idea last minute because I was under the impression the apprentice that was tattooing me would be shadowed by her mentor. But instead there were two chairs crammed in a room and the mentor was tattooing someone else a foot away from me who was complaining the whole time she was going to pass out... bad experience over all. So glad I got a simpler smaller tat that can hopefully be covered. next to my other tattoos it looks like it was done in a dark alley. Hopefully I will be getting it covered soon, only reason I thought Id write a review now. The whole experience itself was uncomfortable. Havent been back and never will. Glad people arent picky and seem to like their tats from here. To each their own.

They cleaned up my work and did incredible improvements. Highly recommend the entire team! Doesnt do piercings.

By far the best haircut I have ever received! I came in with a butchered haircut and Michael saved my hair! Great staff, awesome barber shop feel. I fully recommend this shop to anyone looking for a perfect fade.

Overall I wasn’t very impressed with Mashup Gallery. I had a tattoo appointment scheduled for noon, but they were unprepared, so we ended up not getting started until almost an hour after. They also had someone else scheduled for an appointment at 3, so instead of taking the time to do my tattoo correctly, Marcus rushed through it so that he could make his 3 o’clock appointment (no such urgency was given to my appointment) and in doing so, he made some mistakes and did some pretty poor lines and caused colors to run together. The tattoo turned out passable, but I’m going to have to get it touched up eventually. I would recommend looking at black mammoth or syndicate tattoo first before going to mashup gallery.

Great tattoo parlor. If you are in need of some ink therapy and dont go here, you are doing it wrong. I would never get a tattoo anywhere else. Super nice staff, great artists who genuinely care about their customers and their work.

Artist was friendly. Was clean and they give a care package. My tattoo ended up getting infected on one color and I was charged a total of 460 dollars. Would make sure to get quote before actually booking or could be overcharged. Not worth it

I went in yesterday to get a tattoo of Lucille (the bat), which is not easy to do. It took time and effort, but after it was all said and done, it turned out to be pretty damn good! Staff was friendly and helpful. Theyve just opened, but I would definitely recommend this place. Im sure I will be going back at some point.

This place is awesome! The vibe, the music, and the staff are in incredible. I came in with an idea and came out with an outstanding tattoo. The line work and details he can do is out of this world. I recommend coming here especially if it’s you’re first, don’t waste you’re time anywhere else!

The Mashup Gallery is a great place to get a tattoo. This was my first time being in a tatoo shop and getting a tatoo and the folks there made it a positive experience. They had great advise and suggestions and FreyaDid a wonderful job, describing what it would be like and creating a beautiful work of art. Total disappointment. We just got engaged and set an appointment. If you tell us over the phone you can get us in, I dont consider that a walk in. When we arrived, we were told she remembered us but she just had someone come in that she had to fit in instead. Id be surprised if this place stays open with that kind of poor customer service. Thanks to Syndicate Tattoo for being professional and taking good care of us.

I don’t know how there tattoos are. But if you’re planning on getting a haircut here I DON’T recommend it. I walked in with a friend to get a cut and the barber seem like he didn’t know how to cut hair. Threw out the haircut he was asking basic questions that barbers should know already. Like which direction does the individual want the machine to go when cutting the hair on top. Then he messed up my friend hairline. If I could go lower than 1 star I would. And then he charged him $25 for a basic haircut...

A little pricey but well worth it. Had a great experience getting my daughters hair cut and styled. Loved the atmosphere! Made me really want to come back. Id recommend all the people I know to go there.

Mashup is my favorite tattoo shop I have ever been to. I felt welcome, accepted, like my ideas were being heard, the aesthetic is perfect and I just love the atmosphere.

My husband came to get a haircut since he only gets Sundays off work. They did a great job! I believe Adrian cut his hair. Exactly how he wanted it!

The staff is amazing! The vibes, the space. Everything is great. Marcus did such a great job, looking forward to getting my sleeve finished by him.

As a life long Manhattanite, its not often that a business comes to town that seems like it has something new to offer. However, its a wonderful thing when that happens and thats just the case with Mash Up - the guys are kind and welcoming and the ink is top notch! Check em out!

I have been by multiple times during the posted business hours and have only been able to go in one time because they are either not there or have closed early. There has not once been a sign or anything posted saying they changed from the regular hours.
