This place is absolutely amazing!!!!! The parlor is inviting, every artist welcomes you in the building, the energy is amazing! And every clean place as well . Rey Figueroa has taken care of me plenty of times and man is he talented!! Clean work!! All of the pieces healed perfectly! If you don’t believe look at the picture. HE NEVER FAILS!! PS: if you are scared , anxious and don’t like pain, he is very soft handed and as well has will use numbing cream in very sensitive areas.

Rey and all the artist were great! He made the whole process easy and provided clear communication for setting up appointments and working with the schedule. This was my first tattoo and his work came out amazing! Definitely got me addicted to filling out my sleeve. Hit him up and you won’t be disappointed.

I had a second tattoo i was wanting to get and was looking at different shops and ratings. I found Royal Ink and set up an appointment with Rey the owner. I got my new tattoo and also had my first tattoo freshened up so they would both look new. Rey was a cool guy and did an amazing job on both of my tattoos. We talked the whole time and he did the tattoos quickly, for a fair price, and did great work. I would highly recommend Royal Ink and Rey to anyone looking for a tattoo.

Just got tatted here by tattoo artist Rey. He did a phenomenal job! I love his work and his honest opinion on whether the tattoo was going to look good or not. The shop is pretty clean. The prices are reasonable. I am definitely coming back for bigger pieces!

Had a great experience. First time going here definitely going back. At first not so welcoming there were only guys. I was a walk in no appointment made and after letting them know what I wanted an artist was assign to me. I was nervous but he made me very comfortable. The shop is very clean and organized. Decided I wanted a tattoo today. Definitely wasn’t my first, wasn’t sure if they could accommodate on short notice. I called, said they had a few artists available. I got there, wasn’t disappointed. I went with Antonny, he was absolutely fantastic. I came in knowing exactly what I wanted, he did it even better. I can’t say enough good things, not just about him but the shop as well. He was professional, timely, and affordable. The shop was clean and so welcoming. I highly suggest giving this place a shot. I know I will keep coming back. I have utilize this shop many times for my tattoo needs and have always had an amazing experience. I went to have some piercings done and had the pleasure of meeting Atlas. My anxiety level was through the roof but Atlas was amazing! He was very thorough, knowledgeable and patient. Recently got my first piercing at this shop and had a lovely experience. Atlas was very professional and walked me through taking care of my piercing and answered any questions I had with no hesitation which put me more at ease. Their area was very neat and clean. I’ve been going to this shop for about a year now and Hector has done three large black and gray pieces on my arms and leg. He has been amazing to work with and always pays attention to detail. He has designed all three pieces and is always honest and communicative about what ideas are realistic and what would look best. Highly recommend him to anyone but especially if you’re looking for really great black and gray work!

My friend and I wanted a small tattoo on our girls trip and did some research and found this shop online. Based on the reviews, we decided to give them a shot as they had few negative reviews. Upon arrival, we could tell that the men inside did not want to work with us because they did not get up from their work stations. Only one of them spoke to us and gave us a ridiculous price for the world smallest tattoo. We proceeded to walk out as we have been quoted cheaper at different tattoo shops in the area. Honestly, I’m not sure if it was because we were women or if he thought he could make a few bucks off of us. However, both my friend and I have bachelor’s degrees and aren’t going to be swindled for a 2x2 tattoo. My friend googled it and the average cost for a tattoo of that size is 30.00 to 60.00 dollars. He was trying to charge us a 100.00 dollars each. Please be careful and stay educated when going to this tattoo shop.

I could not be happier with my experience at Royal Ink. I sent a design to Hector (@Rektattoos) and he took example I provided to him and made it 1000% better. Kat was my artist and she was amazing! She’s very talented especially with color work and her flash pieces are amazing. All the other artists here are great as well and their piercer! I couldn’t be more happier with my end result! Highly recommend Kat and this place! Will definitely be returning.

My sisters and I went to get our noses pierced and enjoyed our visit with Atlas. My sister and I are very much opposites she is an extrovert and I am very much an introvert, his demeanor was very welcoming and attentive. Atlas thoroughly explained the before and after piercing care process, leaving nothing to our imaginations. After a few laughs, oohs and aahs we were done! I highly recommend his services as he produces quality work and provides a great customer experience.

My mom and I went for her first tattoo and one for myself. Kat was our artist and she was amazing! I got one that was line work and it turned out exactly how I wanted and the the lines are nice and crisp. Aside from the tattoo, Kat was great. She was very nice and explained everything to my mom as she was experiencing this for the first time. Definitely would go back!

It is the cleanest and nicest shop I have ever stepped foot in ( and I have been tattooed in at least 8 different shops). The artist are extremely knowledgeable and professional. Ray Figueroa was my artist and is the owner, and he has won a number of awards at several tattoo conventions( the awards are displayed in the shop). His grey wash is the best I have ever seen, and his color work is phenomenal as well. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone who wants a top notch tattoo. I wish I would have gone to him for the several sub par tattoos I have had done. The shop inside is as nice as the tattoos they provide. The portfolios of the other artist shows that they only let the best artists work in their shop. I can’t wait to get my next tattoo there. Ray has an extremely light hand, so the pain was considerably less then the other tattoos I have on the same area of my other arm. The price was really cheap considering the quality of work that I was given. From now on I will not let anyone but Ray touch my skin, I am so glad my friend told me to come check his shop out. If you want an exceptional tattoo for a really good price you need to look nowhere else. Tattoos are for life, so you don’t want to settle for less, so go get the best tattoo you will ever get at Royal Ink Studio

This is not a review of the studio in particular, as the studio was very clean and staff was friendly. But I got 2 tattoos from Blake back in December 2021 . After healing they both needed to be touched up , especially the words my grandfather wrote. After messaging Blake about touching them up , he informed me it would be $100 just to touch up the words .. which is how much I originally paid for the tattoo, mind you its 6 words not even 4 inches long. Its very disappointing when you go to an award winning artist and they care very little about the quality of the finished piece. I have multiple tattoos ranging from $100-$1400 from multiple studios and I have never once been charged for a touch up.

LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I received Philtrum piercing done by Atlas, they were kind, respectful and professional! They walked me through every step of the proses and checked in to make sure I was ok! The shop was clean and friendly! No complaints:)

Went on my birthday to get two tats. They were able to squeeze me in their schedule. Mike made sure I was satisfied with the quality of the art, and I wasn’t over charged! Wanted to get tattoos with a friend when she came to visit and found this amazing little place. We walked in and werent able to be seen just yet but they were very accommodating and we went back a few hours later and got my first tattoo in years. Crystal did an amazing job firstly free handing my design on my leg and then making sure I was comfortable with the whole process. I will definitely be going back for any future work. Multiple artists in the shop with different talents and I would recommend this place to anyone.

Went in a few days ago to get my first decently sized tattoo. I was referred to Rich by a friend and after looking at his work and coordinating over messenger he came up with a sketch that exceeded my expectations.He was a pleasure to work with as there was either good music or conversation the whole time and it helped the time pass quickly.The attention to detail and quality, as well the level of experience and passion are all evident In his work. Went in for a walk in (my mistake) and walked out $120 deep for a 1x1 inch tattoo (it had very minimal color but color nonetheless.) they never mentioned a shop minimum to me or i would’ve gone somewhere else for such a small tattoo. the lines on it are way too thick and they didn’t have the color blue i was looking for. i felt that my lack of knowledge about tattoos was absolutely taken advantage of.

This was my first tattoo, and I couldnt be happier with the outcome and experience. Crystal was down to earth, but also did a great job. She helped explained the different styles available. We gave her a sketch of what we were thinking and she took it and enhanced our design. She was very patient with us in the overall process; didnt push us into anything we didnt want, and made sure we were comfortable the whole time. Id highly recommend using her; I know I plan on going back to her for other pieces Ive been thinking about.

VICTOR was excellent at what he did and he talked to me the entire time. Made me very comfortable. He went over that the area I wanted the tattoo in wouldnt be a good spot due to how small my wrist is. Helped me pick an even better area out and let me pick the font. I absolutely loved it there and would go back again!

Amazing talent at this spot. Blake was awesome. He took care of me, my daughter and my mom. We all got matching legacy tattoos, but he really kept them as individual as we are.All of the artists there are great-- but Blakes work was exceptionally well for our needs.

Got my conch pierced; it was $40 including the jewelry. it didnt take long, didnt hurt at all. Good service, really nice guys, live vibe in the shop. They accepted my payment of cash & card, lol which was convenient. & my piercing is healing up nice. Its been 2 weeks since I got it & I have no complaints.

I went in yesterday for a cartilage piercing, Kim Sizemore did it perfectly. No pain, it was super quick and easy. Very professional and kind, and the space was very clean. I enjoyed it so much I went back today to see Kim for a belly button piercing which also went smoothly. Amazing experiences both times. These are probably the nicest people ever! The artists talked me through the process, debunked misconceptions about pre and post tattoo sessions, and gave me a break when I felt overwhelmed. This is my first tattoo and it definitely won’t be my last coming back here.

I was in Marietta for work training and on a whim I decided I wanted to finish my half sleeve. I looked at many websites and kept coming back to the Royal Ink website looking at artist Crystal’s work. I went by the shop talked to her and within a couple days she was tattooing me. She pays attention to detail and cares about her work. She is absolutely amazing that I drove back to Marietta to have another piece done by her and have her tattoo my husband. She is more than a fantastic tattooist, she a friend!!!!!

Kim did a phenomenal job adding an extra piercing to both lobes and also the helix/cartilage piercing. It was quick and almost painless. I was in and out within 10 mins or so and 8 of those were spent doing paperwork. She even offered to help me find good quality jewelry once these have healed. Awesome service. Can’t beat it.

Royal Ink is the only place to get tattooed at in the metro Atlanta area. Ramiro did my tattoo a couple of weeks ago and he did an amazing job. He was punctual and has a great artistic eye to add more creativity to any tattoo idea. The other artist at the shop were very friendly and helpful as well. Hands down would recommend this shop to anyone I know personally and I will be going back soon.

My sisters and i went to get matching tattoos and did not enjoy our experience with Blake at all. He was late and very cold to us but not towards other people he interacted with. When my sister made specific requests for the tattoo design she was brushed off multiple times and neither of our tattoos have the requests she wanted implemented even though Blake kept insisting that they were there. The problem is that with tattoos, specific requests are not open to interpretation by the artist. A lot of that could have been avoided if he had been on time so that he could sketch the changes on the iPad instead of insisting he free hand them when the time came. All in all our tattoos were absolutely beautiful but we did not enjoy the experience and will not be back. Get some customer service Blake it’ll take you farther in life 😘

3rd time Ive been there. Rey is my new and now only tattoo guy . Price is always great and the work is better. Shop is clean, they treat you good when youre there, not much else you can ask for. Ill be back soon for mor . Cant say anymore about how good this place and their work is.

She sketched and applied my ‘Taurus-Raging Bull’ and I am extremely satisfied with her work. Finally found a studio in Atlanta! The vibe of the studio is so chill and everyone is extremely talented. I got a hand tattoo from Kat and she was incredible to work with. I sent her a reference image and asked her to put her flare on it and she nailed it. I will be coming back to see her.

Its taken me a bit to be able to write this. I visited Atlanta from NC at the end of July. I already had it in my mind that I would be getting a tattoo on this trip and I kept searching for designs, because nothing felt right. The day before I left, my grandmother got very ill. I was told she would be fine, but by the time I made it to Atlanta, she had deteriorated quickly. My tattoo came to me as I was thinking about her, and it felt right. So I started searching the area for available shops. I had a gut feeling it just HAD to be done the next day instead of later that weekend as originally planned. The first place we went was booked. We ended up at Royal Ink and Crystal greeted us at the door. I told her what I wanted, and why, and showed her some photos inspirations and gave her a lousy attempt at explaining how I wanted it to be different. She sent me on my way with a promise that she would have something ready the next day. When she showed it to me, I was....touched. it was perfect. Everything I tried to explain horribly that I wanted, she had figured it out and then made it look even better. Before we started, I received a phone call updating me with my grandmas continued deterioration. Crystal stepped outside with me, she talked to me, she told me to relax, that we had time, she let me cry. She had compassion. On the table, halfway through the session, I got the news. Crystal took it like a champ. Let me have a breather, a cry. Moved some appointments back. Told me she WOULD make sure this tattoo was done today and beautiful for the funeral. I can honestly say, while this was technically the worst experience Ive had in a tattoo parlor, it was also the best. The tattoo itself is definitely the best piece of art on my body, and more than that, I just appreciate that they employ someone like Crystal who genuinely exhibits compassion, understanding, and humanity. Go see her, tip her, tell her I said hey and thank you a million times over.

I’ve had a few pieces done here at this studio and I’ll nevertheless go anywhere else. Rey’s black and white work is amazingly realistic and on point. I had Rich do a neotraditional portrait of my dog and he absolutely nailed it! I was super nervous it would look like a dog and not MY dog. But it’s above and beyond what i wanted. Will always recommend this place and this crew!

Our artist Flako was great!! Very light touch, very little pain. Even though it was a discount Friday the 13th tattoo special, he took his time and did amazing work. He was very personable, and he gave us candy!!!

6/8/19Came back for more!Came back to see Rich and the staff at Royal Ink for some cover up work on my foot. Foot tattoos are horrible, especially when they are large and packed full of dynamic black ink. That said, Rich made it as bearable as it could be.My appt was at 5pm. I texted Rich the day of to confirm. Just like the last time, it was a quick response to let me know we were still on for 5pm. I had drawn up the design and sent it to him. When I arrived, he explained to me that it needed to be altered just a little to get the most cover out of the coverup portion. A few quick edits and the stencil was on, and we were off to the races (kudos to Dana, Richs apprentice, for knocking that out super quick).Once the tattoo started, I remembered just why it had taken me so long to get the cover up. It is certainly not the worst tattoo pain, but it isnt the easiest place Ive gotten done either. Rich was sure to ask if I needed breaks, make sure I was doing okay, and, just like breakfast the last go round, got me some pizza to take my mind off of it -- thats right, breakfast AND dinner!He made sure to do the hard spots first to get them out of the way. Once they were done, we stopped for a break. The rest was done in one sitting. All and all, the whole process might have taken 2-3 hours (which is an eternity on the feet). But, it was done perfect, I didnt feel like I was dying, and the healing process has been a breeze.There are TONS of tattoo shops around. None of them have ever made me feel as welcomed at Royal Ink. Rich (and Dana) had consistently delivered exactly what I am after time and time again.5/5 will come back on the next go-round.4/13/18Rich, Rey and Hector are all some of the best artists I have met. I just got my sleeve finished by Rich a couple of days back -- he is patient, professional, clean with is work, and especially understanding. The shop is notably clean, and it was comfortable to spend an extended amount of time there during my session.These guys are tough to beat (price, quality, availability, cleanliness, etc.) -- I will be back to add more to my back soon!

Very sterile environment. Even with Covid took xtra precautions that impressed me. They literally only has one person at a time allowance in. Mask are worn. This was my first tattoo so naturally I was nervous. He made sure it was to my liking without rushing me. He stopped whenever I asked or needed. Very patient. And even when done whatever questions I asked he answered happily. His energy was everything and so appreciated! For my first experience it was top notch. Gloves worn etc. these are things of concern with Covid and they excelled. They are really good at what they do and it shows. He took extra time at the end to make sure all the lines where in place like a perfectionist would at their craft. Awards are everywhere, reflective of their talent. Did not take a horribly long time. Highly impressed.

Got a helix piercing with Kim. Studio was very clean and she was wonderful to work with. I was able to pay $10 to upgrade to a stud that was a little more blingy. I was a walk in and was in and out in well under half an hour. Highly recommend seeing her for piercings. Note, this establishment is cash only. There is a Shell with an atm very close - we actually walked over there after seeing the cash only sign on the door.

On first visit, talked to Rosy about a back mural that i had been planning. He was understanding and willing to listen. By the end of the convo he had said he was excited for the project. As am I!

Went here knowing exactly what I wanted, left upset and feeling like I had been played. Drove straight to another studio to ask them to fix the work I had just gotten done. Called for a specific artist, was told he didn’t work there but was assured someone else could do it. Once in the chair, the guy I had originally asked for showed up. The artist did not make a stencil but just wrote on me with a blue sharpie. I tried to ask him to make changes and he said “yeah I get your style” (to which I stupidly trusted). Left with a tattoo much bigger than I wanted and thin lines that are crooked and twice drawn over.

The entire staff is a group of genuinely good people. In addition they all do very good and clean work. I have went to Rey (IG: @tattoosbyrey) for the pieces that I have gotten done at the shop. He has been able to bring my ideas into reality and I will keep going back. I recommend to anyone!

Got some Roses and initials done by Hector. He did a fantastic job. I plan on getting all my work done by him. He did quality work at a great price. Very respectable and friendly highly recommended this place.

Man, where do I start? Royal Ink Studio, best shop, best artist, best vibes. Lived in Atlanta now for 8yrs and could not find a place where I felt comfortable getting some new ink. Royal Ink Studio has changed all of that, been back 3 times now since they have opened (half sleeve) and there will be more to follow. When it comes to pure art you may end up coming out of pocket BUT Royal Ink has the best prices, hands down. Rey Figueroa produces the type of art work you cant teach, true master pieces. Rey did a great job on my wrist tattoo with very fine lines, it was exactly what I wanted! The shop was very clean and accommodating when we walked in an hour and a half before closing.
