I love my piercings. I have always wanted additional piercings but I was nervous since I almost passed out at 13 getting them done at Clair’s. When I tell you Nicole 100% made the experience I mean it. Nicole talked me through every step of the way and while it smarted it was nowhere near as bad as I was expecting. I loved my first two piercings so much I went back for a 3rd already. The detail they provide in the aftercare was important too. Never would have thought to buy a travel pillow. Fantastic experience overall.

I got an industrial piercing from Agave. I was super nervous, but Jasper was excellent and was there with every step of the way and helped me breathe through the actual process of the piercing. They helped me pick out jewelry, was not familiar with that process. Super friendly staff, very professional, and kind. I would recommend them to anyone looking for fine jewelry piecing.

The BEST piercing studio you could go to! Jasper is very patient and knowledgeable and will talk you through everything you need to know when healing a piercing. Very clean and professional studio. Have been there twice to get my rook pierced and then my conch, and third lobes pierced. Couldnt recommend them enough!

What an awesome place, very clean and classy, we were impressed the second we walked through the door. My wife and I took our teenage daughter to get her nose pierced and we drove 2 1/2 hours each way to come to this shop, and absolutely no regrets. We saw Nicole, and she was awesome! Nicole is fantastic and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a piercing! She was respectful of my needs throughout the whole process, and checked in frequently to make sure all was going well. Do note, they carry very high quality jewelry, so I would suggest taking a peek at their site to see what you like and what it might run cost-wise. For my skin I needed something either titanium or solid gold, so on the higher end anyway. Its definitely worth it, but I know me of a few years ago I would have had some sticker shock. I suggest seeing what you like and saving up, because she is worth it 🥰

Great experience getting my nose pierced here! Nicole was awesome, she walked me through the entire process and was very professional and friendly. The shop is really cute, it is a bit expensive but worth it as the jewelry is high quality and the staff is very knowledgeable. From the moment we stepped into the shop, I was impressed with the level of attentiveness and willingness to personalize my experience. The product selection was amazing and the quality of products beyond anything I have seen before. I had originally made the reservation incorrectly and they quickly rescheduled me for later that day. I personally have 11 total piercings and it was time my kiddo wanted to go. The lady who greeted us was absolutely delightful 😊 She ended up doing a septum and Medusa on Austin. She was patient, excited, explanatory of everything, was realistic about a tongue piercing(mom here really appreciated it) and in the end...I wish she had done all my piercings!!! It came out awesome and most importantly...my kiddo was extremely happy.This place is beautiful, professional and extremely serious about sanitation. I’ve gotten two piercings here, brought my daughter here for her ear piercings when she turned 8, and one of my best friends from out of town to get pierced. Every visit is equally fantastic; the ambiance, the kind and knowledgeable staff, and variety of jewelry check every box! My most recent visit to the shop was no different.The biggest shout out to Jasper, in particular. I called about a piece I was interested in online, Jasper advised me to come in and check it out prior just to make sure it was the right fit. Lo and behold, I didn’t really love how it would have fit on my nose. Jasper took the time to show me a few others and I fell in love with something totally different. Their kindness and clear passion about connecting you with something you adore is such a welcome attribute in a world with lots of sharp edges 🖤

Nicole was very professional, helpful, and kind during my second lobe piercing. I was nervous but she made sure I was comfortable and knew what she was doing and why. I loved the whole experience!

I had 3 cartilage piercings done and it was a wonderful experience. The piercer was patient and I did not feel rushed as I was deciding on jewelry and exactly where I wanted the placement of my piercings in my ears. The piercer also explained everything as they were doing it which helped me feel calm. The studio was clean and made me feel relaxed.

Nichole was AMAZING. My mom and I came in to get our ears pierced. Im in my 40s and my mom in her 70s. She made us feel welcome and invited. The shop is clean ans super cute! The jewelry selection is a must see. Highly recommended!

Nicole was so amazing to work with! She was very patient with my 8 year old daughter who was nervous to get her lobes pierced for the first time. Nicole walked my daughter throughout the whole process and made her feel more comfortable. Very professional and clean space!

I lost part of my BVLA nose piercing in some tall grass and was desperate to get a new one right away! Nicole was so amazing! She got me in right away for a private appointment and helped me select the right size, gauge, metal, and threading style for my nostril piercing. She sanitized the piece I brought in and installed the new top and gave me some tips on what to do if I lose part of it again. All their jewelry is so stunning and top of the line. I have severe metal allergies to everything except gold and their jewelry is the only jewelry that gives me no reactions. I HIGHLY recommend everyone at this shop, 10/10 best piercing studio in all of southern Oregon. 💖

Just an update! As the team at Agave has grown, they are still the absolute best place to go for any piercing or jewelry purchases. They’ve added new kinds of jewelry, like infinity jewelry. If you haven’t seen it, definitely check it out. Everyone there is very friendly and professional, knowledgeable about their craft. They’re also the only APP piercing studio in the valley. Definitely worth the drive 💕Mariel is by far the best piercer I’ve ever met. She’s quick, kind, professional, organized, and incredibly sanitary. The jewelry selection is huge, with great quality for any budget. She spends time making sure the placement is just right and explains anything you want to know. I won’t go anywhere else.

I love this studio. I have been pierced several times here. I have custom pieces and pieces from the display case. I love them all. Jasper is awesome. She has handled new piercings, restylings, and replaced jewelry that was pulled out (no major damage). Every appointment was handled with care. Each step was explained and every question answered. I cannot say enough about our experience at Agave in Bloom. We had to do a repiercing for my 9 year old daughter and they made the whole experience so enjoyable, relaxing, informative and fun. Found out…we didn’t even need to do a full reserve because the holes hadn’t fully closed. Anyone else may have just gone ahead as planned. Not them…they wanted to make the process right. Nicole even gave us recommendations for where to go in Texas when we get back there to have her ears checked in three months. Oh, and the jewelry they carry…GORGEOUS!!!

I have been wanting an infinity/forever bracelet for a long time. I scheduled through the website where pricing and requirements were very easy to figure out. Everything was discussed and confirmed before the actual bracelet was applied. I wound up with a truly beautiful piece of jewelry that doesn’t get in the way when I’m working, but I also didn’t spend a fortune.The staff was helpful, kind, and very, very knowledgeable. The selection of jewelry for all sorts of piercings was better than anything I’ve seen in major cities, and the shop as a whole was absolutely spotless. Overall my experience was excellent. I’d be willing to travel back to Medford if I wanted to have piercings done.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Ive been to quite a few piercing shops in the valley and out. The level of professionalism at Agave in Bloom is unmatched. I got my septum done by Nicole and she was incredibly thorough in explaining all the steps and how the piercing was going to go and in the way she prepped me for the piercing itself. Unfortunately the piercing shifted or something happened that made the jewelry not sit completely straight by the end of the night. I contacted them and they got me in the next day to have Jasper check it out for me. Jasper was awesome in explaining how we could best move forward to achieve the look I wanted and we opted to take it out and repierce. After healing, I came back and Jasper and Nicole worked together to make sure the (not so normal) anatomy of my septum could be accommodated to accomplish the end result we all wanted. It turned out amazing. Overall my experience was nothing but positive and I will be back for sure.

This place is AMAZING! Not only do they have the best of the best jewelry, but their staff goes above and beyond. They are so patient, kind, professional, and respectful. Jasper was really knowledgeable and kind. They had wonderful recommendations for my jewelry and fitting the right kind of jewelry to my body. They also made me feel super comfortable and relaxed and overall was a great experience. It is expensive but I believe you get what you pay for and between the service, knowledge, and cleanliness you get way more than you pay for! Wonderful place. Its really unfortunate I have used two piercers at Agave In Bloom prior to today. Then when having a jewelry consult with the third one today she was so rude from the moment I walked in the door I ended up leaving within 10 minutes of being at the shop and not buying anything.

Love my new piercings I got a conch and it was quick and easy! I originally wanted an industrial bar but my piercer let me know my ear wouldnt work with that piercing. I really appreciated their honesty and they were able to help me pick out a different piercing. I will definitely be going back and letting them decide they are professional and knowledgeable. The high quality jewelry and atmosphere are great!

They answered all my questions, walked me through the process step by step, and created a safe/fun environment. We had such an amazing experience! My sweet 8 year old was ready to get her ears pierced and Mariel took such great care of her! She was so kind and gentle! Mariel and her team are professional, with clear communication and high levels of education in safe piercing practices. This is one of the cleanest piercing shops I’ve ever been in. I’ve been pierced by Mariel twice, and even took one of my children to get her ears pierced here. The atmosphere is calm and inviting, and the jewelry is unique and beautiful. Agave in Bloom’s jewelry selection is huge, with high quality artist pieces that will last a lifetime. They even have an in-house jewelry maker that can customize or fix pieces. I went to Agave in Bloom to have new holes put in my ears because my old piercings had grown together. Luckily, they are so knowledgeable and knew that my holes werent gone. They were able to quickly coax them open and give me new hoops to help train them to stay open.They were very patient explaining both how holes may pretend to be gone and also the cons of having replacement holes created.They are the BEST!!!

Jasper was wonderful, very gentle and patient and explained every step. The shop is definitely on the pricier side, but I have no complaints.

Agave in Bloom is hands down THE best place Ive gotten pierced. Their studio is bright, beautiful, and most importantly--clean! Making appointments at their studio is easily done online, just be sure to allot for enough time to get there and find parking since its a bit tucked away. I had a great experience over the past month getting my conch pierced and downsized once it healed. Huge thanks to Jasper for their patience with me in choosing the perfect jewelry, making the piercing process as calm and relaxing as it can be, and making really good suggestions for how my jewelry can be styled in the future. This is my first piercing in a long long time, but the piercer Matt Holmes did a wonderful job. He was enthusiastic and explained everything very clearly. The environment was incredibly clean and he sterilized the jewelry in front of me. Which as a bit of a germaphobe I appreciate.He really took his time helping me find the perfect placement on my nose for the piercing, and it looks even better than I could have hoped. The jewelry selection here is great. I found this cute little turquoise stud, which was cuter than anything I could find online.10 out of 10 would go again. This place knows there stuff, and that’s the kind of service you want when putting another hole in your head.

My 7 yr old and I had an amazing experience that allowed my daughter a learning opportunity about bodily agency. She ended up changing her mind and not getting her ears pierced. I could not be more impressed with the experience Agave in Bloom offers. Jasper pierced my daughter’s ears and was so respectful and thoughtful. My experience was about 2 years ago and it still haunts me to this day. I don’t mean to be dramatic but I felt so intimidated by this situation. The main issue with Agave in Bloom is the pricing. Not only does she require a non-refundable deposit when booking the appointment, but there are not cheap options for jewelry. I know it is meant to be high quality and infection resistant but there should still be some other reasonable options. This isnt what I had intended when going in and I felt absolutely terrible and awkward feeling forced into continuing on with the piercing after booking two weeks in advance and then looking over the jewelry options in person. I had initially trusted her with this process having gone to her in the past before she got her new location and changed her format of the business. The Rogue Valley is not known for its wealth especially among the on average young people who are typically the ones getting piercings! I’m glad my friend had arrived late and was able to get a refund on her deposit given the unhappy circumstances and knowledge I gave her. I think that this is a great place to go if you have the knowledge of its pricing and intentions of spending a lot for high quality jewelry.

Very rude and wasnt even willing to talk about the jewelry when i asked some questions about it if we didnt have an apt...the piercer didnt even say hi when we walked in the door and gave my sister a dirty look like she was put out someone even walked in the door. We had money to spend and they wont be getting our business, high reviews was why we stopped first, but i guess if you enjoy rude service, very abrasive personalities or snooty attitudes and wanting future service, its your place to be . One of the very few places around that you still apparently have to have an apt.

Mariel pierced my daughters ears it was amazing she was soo patient and good with her talking about Bluey and making her comfortable beforehand and my daughter didnt cry what a cute shop and great experience thank you so much!!!

I took my daughter for her first ear piercing today and we had the absolute best experience. Jasper was so attentive and patient with her and explained every step. We ended up only doing one today and they made sure to let my daughter know that it was absolutely okay and to still be proud of the one that was done. I visited the store looking for new jewelry for my philtrum piercing I’ve had for over 20 years. I chose a simple 14k yellow gold dot, it fits my face perfectly and is super comfortable on the inside of my lip. I think Jasper helped me? If I got the name wrong, my apologies but they were super helpful and knowledgeable. 10 out of 10 in all respects.

Mariel is the only person I will let stab me in the head multiple times and pay her for it. She has the Midas touch 🥰Ok, update….I saw Jasper and it was a very comforting session, very gentle and calming experience…as much as one can when being stabbed with needles…but I love the thoughtfulness and care given to every piercing. They are the only place I go for my high quality jewelry and piercing.

I have already sent an email to detail the worst experience in customer service and business model I have ever had to deal with.I have waited 3 months to write a review because I was so angry and disgusted.JASPER was the worst piercer I have ever met. She essentially talked my daughter out of getting her ears pierced for the first time. On video, I have Jasper telling me to stop talking to my daughter. I was encouraging her and Jasper made me feel like I dragged her into the shop by her hair. And to make the situation worse, my daughter went in on her 7th birthday and Jasper ruined it. My daughter said “ “sitting in the chair for so long made my tummy hurt”.

Such an amazing place, their jewelry and staff are top notch. My piercer, Nicole, helped me pick out what jewelry would fit best aesthetically and was incredibly patient! When I was starting to feel nervous about the process but was offered a hand to hold by Jasper and they were incredibly kind and affirming!

Matt was amazing! First off, I guess I didn’t finish the scheduling process so my appointment was never made, Matt was more than happy to squeeze my daughter’s piercing in in between appointments. He went above and beyond making sure she was comfortable and informed on what he was doing and how to take care of her piercing after. He really knows his stuff! I was so impressed by the service we received. Matt genuinely listened to my daughter and helped us figure out what jewelry would fit her best. The staff was very helpful in helping me distract my two year old in the process (but, definitely babysitter next time). They were so patient with him. Originally came to the shop to get my daughters ears pierced she was 4 at the time. Not only did Mariel make her feel safe and comfortable by playing we don’t talk about Bruno and frozen. She also talked her through the whole experience. She cried a little but still got both lobes done. The shop is beautiful and extremely clean. The vibes amazing. I ended up coming back for a piercing of my own and let me tell you I am a customer for life.

Me and a friend of mine had gone in to get their new infinity jewelry and it was a great experience. Unfortunately, due to malfunctioning of the machine, we had to come in for two appointments, but the finished product was amazing. It was a pricy purchase, but my anklet has held through full-force running and working out since the second appointment. After the first appointment my jewelry had broken almost immediately after (like I said, machine was burning through my friends chain after mine was welded, so there was malfunctions with the machine) and I had informed them and received a free fix and a refund on my friends welding fee because of the machines problems and having to come in for a second appointment. I had come in for a piercing a year ago and didn’t have the best experience with a guest piercer, but their new employees customer service and work has improved majorly. They apologized profusely for the machines problems and I completely understand learning to troubleshoot problems with something new. I was very happy with the end result and both of the employees that had provided the services.

My six-year-old daughter decided she was ready to get her first ear piercings. I didn’t know this business existed until it popped up on a search engine …. I am so GRATEFUL it did!!!Jasper was completely focused on listening to my daughter. Jasper told my daughter the moment we arrived that she is in the drivers seat of the experience and this was true for the entire appointment.I can’t recommend this business enough … I am referring family, friends…anyone else looking! I have been hesitant on where to get my nose pierced for a while now. I live in Roseburg. My tattoo artist is in Medford, who recommended this place to me. From changing a nose ring to custom jewelry to new piercings Agave has been the best. Staff is knowledgeable, professional, and care about their customers. We went here to get our daughter’s ears pierced, after many talks with her about how it works and what to expect. We weren’t told what the price was until after only one ear was actually pierced. My daughter got nervous about getting the second ear done and when I tried to have a conversation with my daughter, the piercer kept interrupting us and was actually convincing my daughter that she didn’t want to do it. I went to get my wife, so that she could talk with our daughter and the piercer kept injecting her opinions into the conversation between my daughter and wife. Also, while we were waiting, they rudely came out and told me that I had to move my vehicle down the street. Don’t recommend.

I have known Mariel over half my life, and there is no one else I would choose to pierce myself or my children. She does amazing work and is such a warm and inviting person.

Matt was absolutely WONDERFUL! My 12 year old was having her ears re-pierced after having problems with her initial piercing at age 6. We decided to go to a piercing shop rather than somewhere that uses a piercing gun after researching the subject & the issues we had before. Best decision ever! Great experience & Matt explained that her holes were still there & he just needed to follow them through! He explained everything & made my daughter feel very comfortable. I was amazed that everything happened exactly how he explained it. She is so happy & no issues. Would highly recommend!

Edit: I had to go back in to get a piercing checked out, and talking to them was very nice and it seemed like they definitely cared. if i could give more than five stars, i would.The piercers here were super professional and helped to ease mine and my friends nervousness. The jewelry is so pretty, and even has beautiful cheaply priced options. I felt comfortable and like my piercer genuinely cared about how I felt. If I ever get any more piercings, I will definitely be coming back

I started my journey with Agave in Bloom with hope that my piercings from a different place could be saved when I first went to Mariel my piercings from another place were basically botched and were so painful and angry, she basically nursed them back to health with months of messaging her pictures and trying many pieces of gorgeous jewelry to make them happy. A year later I can say they are happy/healed and I also got my nose pierced! Looking forward to many more holes placed in my head :)

Update on 5/2022: it’s healed perfectly! No complications or issues almost a year later:)Original 7/2021: I LOVE MARIEL!! I’ve never gotten anything else pierced before besides my ear lobes when I was 8 years old. I’m 25 years old now. I’ve had my helix peirced for roughly 6 weeks now and it has healed perfectly with no complications. Mariel was very sanitary and she pierced quick and nearly pain free. She also double checked with me that it was in the spot I wanted it before she pierced. On a pain scale of 1-10 I would say this was a 2.5. It really didn’t hurt, at least not for me. Mariel answered all my concerns and helped me feel relaxed (I was super anxious and worried about a lot of things). They gave me a packet to take home for after care, which was useful. I would definitely recommend!!! The jewelry itself is clean and looks of high quality. I love my little olive branch. This is such a professional, clean, fun and friendly shop that I am sending all my friends to them!!

I had my original nose piercing done by Agave when it was in a different building a few years ago. I had a fabulous experience then. She has the best selection of jewelry, is super clean and professional, and very gentle and kind.I managed to knock it out recently and couldn’t get it back in myself. She was able to get me in quickly, had the original jewelry I loved and had lost, and managed the replace it for me. This was all during the worst of Covid restrictions. I can’t say enough good things about this place!She also gave excellent directions to her new tucked away little studio. It’s so lovely!

From the very beginning you are treated as an old family friend just in for a visit. She makes things so warm and comfortable. Absolutely fantastic, first off the place is beautiful and the jewelry is gorgeous and there’s a wide selection, second I went there with my mom who was actually trying to talk me out of getting a belly button piercing and ended up getting one herself because of how great Matt was! I was looking at their BVLA jewelry on their online shop (amazing selection btw) and found exactly what I was looking for, except it wasnt in the gauge I wanted. I called the shop and spoke to a wonderful, kind, and very informative gal (Im so sorry I forgot her name!) that answered all of my questions and informed me that because the piece I wanted didnt come in the gauge I wanted, she would consult with their jeweler to see if it would be possible to add a piece (or whatever they do to change the size) to my desired size. The shop contacted me the very next morning letting me know they could do it. They truly work with you to make sure you get exactly what you want! Unparalleled customer service and they dont make you feel like a burden when youre interested in something thats more customized to your preference. I had consulted with other piercing shops that had the same piece of BVLA jewelry I wanted, inquiring about size changes and these other shops made me feel like I was putting them out and that it would be a hassle for them to help me get what I was looking for. Cannot express enough how happy I am after looking around for weeks, and Im so excited for my new jewelry to arrive!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SHOP!!

2 Daith piercings for migraines!!! I am so happy I found Mariel!!! I have been getting migraines for the past three years after being rear ended in a car accident. I had done the research and daith piercings had a 50/50 chance of working to help with migraine relief. Mariel warned me that it would take 8-10 months of complete healing and keeping it clean was important. My first piercing was done on my left ear in January 2019. She charged $35 for the actual piercing and then the cost of earring. Mariel helped me pick between a few different pieces by letting me hold them up to my ear to see how it looked. I chose a $200 half moon shape with a small diamond.Mariel talked me through it because I have never pierced my ears before or any body part for that matter! She warned that it would be painful. It feels like she hit a nerve, which is supposed to happen, hot lightening flash of pain and it was over. I had to take a couple of ibuprofen for swelling and pain. My ear bled for a minute before it stopped. I kept it clean by using piercing saline in the morning and warm water at night. My ear would sting in the warm water but it was my preferred method. While healing, the fluid will form a crust around the piercing site and the warm water dissolves the crust and rinses it away. Fingers are usually dirty and Mariel told me to try and not touch it. At night, I did lay on my left side on the pillow. It was not unbearable to me and it caught a few times, like, when I would slide my head against the pillow, but it would sting for a minute and then go away. I took maybe a total of 6 ibuprofen tablets in the first 6 weeks.By the beginning of March of 2019, I was ready to get my right ear pierced. Mariel does not recommend this but scheduled me right before my birthday April 1. The second piercing went the same as the first. Same hot flash of lightening for split second and it was over. I chose a more expensive piece this time with three small jewels, which makes it heavier than the moon earring. I can feel the earring sliding in my ear. I have to fix it all the time. I would have chosen a less heavy piece, if I could go back. I am writing this review in August but stopped having any pain whatsoever in June and have not had any problems with either piercing, or migraines, for that matter!!Mariel is wonderful!!! She truly loves her work and it showed when she helped ease my nervousness of getting my first piercing!! I am so glad I found her because I would like more piercings!!

Agave in Bloom, dont have much to go off. By appointment only.. they dont return messages or answe the phone. I did a drive by and could see two employees horsing around while the phone was ringing. Seems pretty unprofessional.Thanks for the response, I was in a black xterra in the parking lot looking directly into the window on the 8th. I was there for probably 20- minutes or so and was looking for other available places to purchase a gift card for jewelry.
