Just given the runaround. I tried to book a consultation by filling out the form that they have, someone reached out to me via email asking for font references & If I was flexible with the price and I responded sending a couple fonts and saying I was in-fact flexible with the price. They respond back saying “Awesome! I’d be happy to book you a consultation with our artist Abel” which they don’t do because I end up having to contact the artist myself with the same exact information I sent on their consultation form. He ends up showing me a few different designs n recommended moving the placement which I didn’t care for as I just really wanted this tattoo; it would have been my first dedicated to my late father. He asks when I would like to do it, and I answer asking if the date I provided would be ok and still haven’t received a response or price estimate til now. Shouldn’t be this difficult to get just a consultation.

Abel was so kind and helpful when giving me my tattoo. He was very gentle yet very detailed with the work we did. Thank you so much!!!

I had my 3rd tattoo done today by artist Abel. He responded quickly to messages I sent him about design ideas and spent a lot of time with me finalizing the design today. It’s perfect!! I am so happy and would recommend him to anyone looking to get amazing artistic tattoos! He’s my #1!!!

Leslie pierced one side of my nostril and has been SO helpful with helping my other nostril (done elsewhere) heal up after trauma. She’s very knowledgeable and you can tell she cares about you and your piercings! If you’re looking for a great piercer in the Medford area I highly recommend her!

My friend got her first tattoo from Abel. I was impressed with his fine line work and knew I wanted a tattoo from him. He made sure I was happy with the design, size and placement. He did a wonderful job! On top of a being a great tattoo artist, he is also super nice and easy to work with.

10/10 expirience! Got a walk in tattoo from Brandon in the Medford location and really had an awesome experience! The shop minimum is $100, individual minimums differ between 100-200$. I paid 180 + tip for this small color tattoo. Prices are a bit more expensive than smaller shops but very reasonable for Boston- and considering the quality and permanence of tattoos, felt fair. Shop was clean, staff were friendly and helpful, it was easy to ask for adjustments to design etc.. you have a choice between saniderm and saran, and all in all I had a great experience! Super happy with my results, healing has been smooth and now I have an awesome new peice of art, and a piece of memory on me forever!

Came in as a walk-in and ended up getting a tattoo from Abel. He was very patient& detailed, as well as super kind and friendly! He is extremely talented and I could not be happier with how my tattoo came out. He listened really well to design exactly what I wanted. I will definitely book with him again.

Jeudiel was absolutely fantastic to get a tattoo from. He was extremely communicative during the process, and made sure that the design was perfect before we began. His craftsmanship is unmatched, and he designed my tattoo better than I ever thought I would do based on the reference photos I sent. His work is absolutely insane, and I could not recommend him more if you are even thinking of a very detail-oriented tattoo. I am planning to book my future tattoos with him.

Piercer(leslie) messed up my navel piercing. She completely pierced the wrong part of my body, and it looked awful and never healed. she refused to sanitize my jewelry that i brought and it got infected. terrible experience will never come back here.

I got my ears pierced by Leslie this past weekend and could not be more pleased with the experience. She took the time to go thru what jewelry would look best and really put my mind at ease. I told her about a horrible experience I had elsewhere so I think she knew I was pretty nervous. She made sure to tell me each step she was doing and did not do anything until I felt ready. I’ve gotten work done by both Brian and Joe and have always been super satisfied. I am a repeat customer. Over the summer, I got my labret pierced by Brian and it looks excellent, and healed really well. He also re-did my septum for me. Recently, my partner and I went in for a piercing date with Joe. My partner got his right eyebrow and left cartilage pierced. I got my right conch pierced. We have both gotten many compliments on our piercings. Joe worked with us each for what we wanted and what our bodies could handle. We plan on going back for more piercings with BTC!

I’ve been a loyal customer since Brian and Joe were around but after the internal changes, the pricing system is no longer transparent and is completely inconsistent.I was booked with Kirsten to remove and reinsert jewelry for 7 piercings, expecting to pay the usual $15. Instead, I was charged $30 for the removal and $60 for the reinsert on the same day. Its weird getting charged different amounts for the same services. On top of that, my friend paid just $15 for the same service but for 10+ piercings with Leslie a couple of weeks back.I had contacted Leslie about the situation and she refunded me $30, and explained that Kristen was new and that they also had a price increase. Although I was still unsatisfied and confused, I moved on. A few weeks later, I find out that another friend was yet again charged only $15 for both the removal/reinsert of 10+ piercings which completely contradicts the conversation I had with Leslie and the new pricing she had explained.I’m frustrated with the unfair treatment and feel taken advantage of. It seems like when you buy jewelry from them, they charge much less for additional services than if you only come in for services alone. Although the piercers are kind and skilled, this makes them seem very unprofessional and inconsistent. Sadly, I will be avoiding this place :(

Good experience overall but beware if you have sensitive skin!!I went for a piercing on the flat part of my cartilage. Staff was lovely and the experience was smooth and easy but I paid extra to be pierced with a 14k gold earring because I have very sensitive skin and can not wear stainless steel jewelry. Turns out I paid $160 for a piece of BVLA jewelry that is only gold at the jewel end but still stainless steel through out the whole post, which is the part that actually is going through my ear and touching the whole wound. When you pick out your earring, only the jewel end is on display and they remove it from the display using pliers. I wish the professional that was piercing me had mentioned this to me but I guess they wanted me to pay extra for the gold earring.I got my ear pierced early March and it has been giving me such a hard time ever since. I figured it was because it was a tougher area on my ear and just took longer to heal but one day while rotating the earring, I accidentally unscrewed the labret and realized the post was steel. I understood why I’ve been in so much pain for the past 2 months - I’ve been having an allergic reaction this whole time. I ordered a gold plated labret off of Etsy for $12 and within 4 days, all the swelling went down and the 8mm post is already too big when before, my ear was almost swelling over the back of the earring post. I slept on my left side after 3 months last night lolIf you have sensitive skin like I do, bring your own gold earring. Maybe call and ask in advance what size would be best suited so you don’t leave paying over $200 for piercing, tip, and jewelry. 3 stars for quick & easy piercing and kind staff. Minus 2 for lying and ripping me off.

I went to the Boston Tattoo Company in Medford, MA for my first tattoo... and I absolutely love that place! I was pretty nervous, but everyone was super nice and very helpful. I was checked in right away, and then I handed my artist (Alec) my drawing. He got everything set up, and then the tattoo itself took barely 25 minutes. I drew the tattoo, but Alec really made it come alive! Plus, Alec was very sweet and very nice, and when I get another tattoo, I will definitely be going to him.I cant recommend this place enough. Got my first piercings from Leslie! It was a quick, easy and near painless experience. Her explanations helped me feel comfortable with the process and confident in how easy it will be to heal. Highly recommended and I will be going back!

My friend and I made online appointments for piercings and it was super easy to book. Our piercer made us comfortable, gave us time to pick out jewelry, and walked us through all the steps. Everything was clean and came in sterile packs. I got my conch done and my friend got a cartilage piercing. The piercings were done SO WELL. No pain and no infections later on. Our piercer was highly educated and I will go out of my way to come to this location for my next piercing.

This place is fantastic. I have been to several tattoo shops, in both MA and CA, and this is by far my favorite. Clean, professional, friendly. And the tattoo work is incredible. Tina has done 2 for me, and Nicky did a great one for my wife. You can not go wrong going here.

Tina was my artist and she made me super comfortable and has a very light touch with tattooing. I got a rib tattoo and I didnt feel a thing. Having good customer service is number 1 for me and she deserves 5 stars just for that. Also her work is amazing. I will be coming back also the owner and front desk were really nice and made me feel comfortable right away.

Joe was really nice and helpful. I did a septum and one earlobe piercing. The septum didn’t hurt much (although I don’t know how that compares), and the earlobe barely hurt at all. The shop seems nice and clean, and Joe seemed to do things in a sterile way. They have their various certifications on the wall, which I think is great. Obviously this is only one experience, but seemed great to me!

I cannot hype up Deanna enough. She has done every single one of my tattoos and blows me away every time. During my first tattoo she went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable and frequently checked in with me during the process to make sure I was doing okay. I actually dragged my boyfriend along for that first tattoo and he now has four pieces from her as well. For my most recent experience I came in on Friday trying to get a tattoo before Monday because I am deploying for a work trip for several months and wanted to sneak a tattoo in before I left. I booked a consult for Friday morning fully expecting not to be able to squeeze it in but wanting to try nonetheless. She managed my expectations and let me know that she was booked solid but if anything finished early or anyone cancelled she’d give me a call. I wanted a softball sized flower, just the line work so I was hoping I could be squeezed in. She made time for me Saturday night and went above and beyond my expectations. She did the flower as well as a bunch of petals and leaves to connect it to a precious piece she had done for me last year. She’s very accommodating with resizing and placement of stencils as well as adding and changing pieces on the spot. The tattoo is beautiful and we even had time to do some beautiful shading of the entire piece. While tattooing she is fairly fast without compromising quality and honestly a joy to chat with during the whole tattoo. I couldn’t ask for a better tattoo experience and will be continuing to book with her for the foreseeable future.

The studio is clean and sanitary, and all the artists there are welcoming and kind. I was pierced there and felt like I was given more than adequate time to choose jewelry and discuss options for piercings based on the shape of my ears and other existing piercings. Overall a wonderful experience and I will definitely be returning!

Absolutely love my tattoo! I wanted the perfect feather to memorialize my brother and my tattoo artist Jeudiel seemed to know exactly what I wanted. He was beyond professional and sweet, his art work beautiful! There was a bit of a wait, but definitely well worth the time. The staff girls were amazing as well. Have only had my tattoo for a few hours and have had many compliments. Thank you again Jeudiel and staff for making my day so special.

Great place! I was a newbie tattoo person and Nycki did a fantastic job of designing and applying my tattoo. Has been over a year and the color is still vibrant, and I absolutely love the design. Would definitely go back if I ever get another one.

I got my earlobes pierced here (second lobe piercing) and the piercer, Joe, was absolutely fantastic. Scheduling was a breeze on their website. They take pandemic precautions seriously, and it was by appointment only, which I really liked. The office manager was friendly, greeted me by name when I walked in, answered some questions I had, and gave me stickers :D Shes awesome!They had all their (many, many) licenses and training certificates hung on the wall. Joe was very patient while I picked out jewelry, showed that everything was freshly autoclaved, and answered the billion other questions I had. Honestly, I barely felt anything when he pierced my ears. Hes that good.The piercings healed great, and now I really want to go back so I can get other holes put in my body!

I got my tattoo done here by Deanna and 10/10 would recommend her and this place overall. The shop is clean and inviting. The people that work here are really nice and welcoming. Deanna is so talented and did such a good job getting the likeness of my dog in my tattoo, it was everything I asked for and more! Deanna is super nice, professional, and easy to talk to. She makes you feel very comfortable throughout the whole process. When the tattoo was done, Deanna asked me if she could invited in her coworkers to see it (which of course I said yes!) this big burly man walks in to see and after looking at it in the sweetest dad-like voice tells Deanna “I’m so proud of you!” For her work. If that doesn’t tell you the kind, supportive, good-vibes that fill this shop, I don’t know what does.The price was also reasonable given that this shop is in the city and you have to expect their shop minimum will be higher than somewhere out in the burbs where they wouldn’t have to pay Boston rent to keep the lights on! Overall I would highly recommend this location and Deanna as an artist!

Deanna is a gem! I got my first ever tattoo done by her in August, and she was very professional and very thorough for the duration of the process. She offered me a free color test because I had previously been told bright colors wouldnt work on my skin tone, and she was patient and responsive over email leading up to the appointment. I ended up going back and getting a second tattoo done by her and will definitely be back. Shes so pleasant and puts you at ease, and is also incredibly talented and serious about her craft.

Absolutely disgusting! Got charged $250 for a piecing that took 5 minutes to do. They should be embarrassed. Will never go there ever again. And also heard from other people who got tattoos done that it’s not sanitary when getting work done. So anyone thinking of getting tattoos there, all I can say is beware!

Customer service is severely lacking. I need some ink done, but will avoid this shop just based on the interactions alone. Did not make me feel comfortable.Ive been in and out of tattoo shops for the past 23 years, having friends that are artists and piercers. And you want a welcoming spot where people want to come back and refer you.

Swerls did my tattoo and he was amazing. He listened to what I wanted and then sketched it for me. I felt like I knew him personally... thats how great of a guy he was.

I honestly cant thank these people enough! Deanna gave me the most BEAUTIFUL sternum tattoo. Her linework is gorgeous, and she’s so sweet and pleasant. I had such an amazing experience tattooing with her. ☺I also wanted to thank the owner, Jay, for being so gracious and helpful when I ran into an issue. He’s definitely the type that goes above and beyond for his customers, and you can tell that he runs the shop well. Jeudiel did amazing work!I got a 4-hour portrait of my dog who died almost 2 years ago now. I sat with Jeudiel for about ten minutes for our free consult and I felt super comfortable. He asked about my dogs personality and helped me to choose the best photo. He is relatively new to tattooing (even though hes a very experienced artist) and is therefor slightly less expensive than others at the shop. However, you cant tell from his work that hes newish to the scene. Win win for me!

I would not go back here for a piercing - with their piercer Joe specifically. He seemed miserable at his job and was not helpful when (very basic & reasonable) questions were asked. Honestly his vibe is OFF & no one should have to trust someone like that for something as serious as a body modification.My friends went the day before and had Brian as their piercer, and it sounds like they had a completely different & pleasant experience. Unfortunately, they do not allow you to choose the piercer on their booking website.

Ive had 3 of my tattoos here, all by different artists. I honestly believe the last one is the one Im sticking with. Deanna Johnson did unbelievable work on my arm and in such good time. After my first session I left confident in the artwork and confident in the artist. She was super nice, completely professional, and outrageously talented. I cant thank her enough for her work, and I will absolutely be back just for her!

I went here to have a piercing upsized when a completely different shops negligence resulted in me almost losing a piercing. Despite not even offering the piercing itself, they still offered to take a look. Unfortunately they couldnt help because they didnt have the jewelry I needed they still offered ways I could resolve it and just the fact that they were willing to look at the piercing even though they dont offer that piercing was very very kind.

I was tattooed by Roz, and I couldnt be happier with the results! She was easy to talk to, super understanding when I had to reschedule at one point, and is WICKED TALENTED. I got custom ink and it ended up not only being gorgeous, but reasonably priced. The shop was professional and all the staff I interacted with were nice. The downstairs is very atmospheric, but then the tattoo parlor upstairs is as sterile as any good tattoo place should be. I would HIGHLY recommend getting work done here.

The BEST!! 100% sanitary and clean. Professionals that know their stuff. All very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Theyre all great there, but when it comes to tattoos, my opinion is that Roz is the best! She is an amazing artist and shes extremely friendly. It actually makes getting a tattoo enjoyable.

I got 3 piercings by Joe today (ear, forward helix). He was patient, professional, highly skilled, and good personality! This is definitely not the cheapest place because they only carry high quality jewelry, but you get what you pay for! I’m very happy, thank you so much! I 100% recommend.

Joe did a great job on my piercings (ear cartilage piercings). He was relaxing to be around, polite, and efficient. The piercings were done quickly and I had barely any pain. They have a great jewelry selection made of 14k gold which is important for me as I have metal allergies. I will definitely be going back for more piercings

Wonderful experience here! Although the hour was rather late, the entire staff was very kind, attentive, and welcoming. Akio was my piercer and what a knowledgeable gentleman! Very courteous and patient, gave thorough explanations for my many questions, and is incredibly skilled and very gentle. Much less physical discomfort than I had felt for previous piercings at other establishments, in the years passed. Perfectly pristine environment. Would highly recommend!

I would like to give a shout out to Manny at the Medford location! He is not only an amazing artist, he’s kind and gentle. I felt bad that the tattoo I wanted was one he had to redraw a few times until it was exactly how I wanted it to look. He didn’t mind at all. He was very patient and even stayed past store closing hours to finish due to my fault at asking him to change it a few times. His work is amazing and I have not only gone back to him twice for myself, I also recommended him to family and friends . If you want a well done tattoo, he’s the guy! I’ve been here before and they are all great but I must say that manny definitely has the personality you need when you’re experiencing pain. We talked the entire time (almost 2 hours) and it went by so quickly.

Ryan Buckley did a bang-up job, made my vision come to life and better than I ever imagined. Total delight to work with, made good suggestions but in a low pressure way, and I’m obsessed with the end result. Highly recommend working w him.

I went to get my nose piercing changed, booked an appointment and drove all the way out to the medford location (30 minutes away). I walked in and the piercer was sitting on his phone, he told me the appointment had been booked for tomorrow. I then asked if I could just buy the jewelry instead and he said he didnt have time although he appeared to be doing nothing when I walked in and there was only one other customer in the shop who was speaking to another artist. I left and came back the next day but when I arrived he said it was too early to change the piercing, although it had been 5 months. He was very belittling and blunt when I asked him further questions. He failed to mention that he wouldnt put in new jewelry when I had come in the day before and it wasnt mentioned on the website when I booked the appointment. I will definitely be finding another piercer and shop.

I went to Joe for a piercing and not only was he knowledgeable but he was extremely friendly, helpful, and patient. The shop was very clean and the staff were friendly. I definitely recommend coming here for a piercing. The jewelry is kind of pricey, but it is all handmade and great quality, so you pay for quality. Definitely recommend.

Had very high hopes for this place due to all the positive reviews. Came in this morning right when they opened at 12pm for their walk in small tattoo saturdays. Was the first person to put my name on the list and was told to wait in my car for them to text me. Waited in my car for 45 minutes so decided to walk inside to check in. Was asked if I wanted to put my name on the list again and informed that no I had already been waiting. Noticed my name was crossed off from the list though without receiving a call or text?? They then informed to sign all the release forms and send in my picture and assured me someone would be right with me. I waited another hour and watched others walk in after me and receive their tattoos and walked out before someone even came to sit with me. When the artist finally came out he mistakenly went to someone else which the receptionist told him after. He proceeded to say “well what are we going to do I’m done after this tattoo” to which the receptionist said “I just really need you to do this other tattoo instead” twenty minutes after that encounter the other receptionist told her that the artist was upset because he really wanted to do the other tattoo and again asked what they were going to do. Ended up walking out without getting the tattoo, completely unacceptable.

I went in to have better quality jewelry put in my daiths and conch, and also to get a helix piercing. He was quick, thorough and sterile. He helped ease my anxiety. The only thing was that, although quick, he was a bit harsh and rough. It hurt more that way, but he knew what he was doing and the pain was no more than a few seconds, which was also on an already irritated piercing (so of course its going to hurt). Thank you, Joe!

I had an easy time scheduling a consultation and setting up an appointment that fit my schedule. I had the honor and pleasure of working with Buck who is extremely professional, funny, and thoughtful. I Like but not love the tattoo it could of been better if the artist will listen what I wanted but instead he rushed. I email him before and no response that should have been a doubt, but still gave him the benefit of the doubt and went on after the fact . Yet he was 30 min late to the appointment and he did not perform the art I wanted , the tattoo was supposed to be between my breast and was done a little upper and not the way i wanted. I believed he rushed because he had a bigger job next than mine. Nevertheless I did emailed him about some concerns and he never replied. Manuel Espinales left me with no answer before and after the tattoo . I’m disappointed for the charges I was 150 for something that could be done for 50 . Very dissatisfied.

Deanna has done three of my tattoos so far. Shes been so professional and sweet every time! I was so scared to get a tattoo before coming to the Boston tattoo company, but Deanna made it quick, easy, and fun! Ill definitely be back for more.

I don’t know why they make you make appointments They made me wait almost an hour. I think there should be better communication between the customers and artists. They’re great at art and tattoos and do an AMAZING job but the Ubers there aren’t cheap and u just wish they were more punctual.

I’ve been here a number of times, for both piercings and tattoos. I love it here. Akio is an AMAZING piercer; so quiet and kind and knowledgeable, and with him I’ve experienced the least discomfort of all the piercings I’ve ever had. The tattoo artists are top-notch as well. I cannot recommend BTC highly enough.

Went to the Medford location as a walk-in for standard lobe piercings for my middle schooler because... mall stores are a horrible idea. So glad we did; Aiko is wonderful with younger folks and my daughter had a great experience with him. I highly recommend this route over Claires or the like for anyone who wants a safe, clean, and professional job done. My daughter is thrilled and left with complete instructions and a big smile.

Got a norse binding rune on my wrist. My first tattoo! Manny Pinales did an amazing job, he made me feel comfortable, was quick and an excellent conversationalist. I could not ask for a better tattoo artist as he is extremely skilled at his craft. Cant wait for the next one.

Great experience! We went to get tattoo for my wifes birthday. Manuel Pinales Aka Manny was our artist. He was really chill, humble, and with a positive vibes which made the experience more enjoyable for first timer like us. Lol

Went in for a walk-in helix piercing today, which Akio did for me. Akio made me feel comfortable and at ease, and was very helpful with aftercare instructions. The prices seem reasonable, and Im very happy with my piercing. Will definitely be recommending! Thanks!

Charged me $170 for two nose piercings just for them to be uneven they looked so bad I had to take them out wasted almost $200. Don’t recommend and the piercer was rude.

The shop might seem small at first but the actual magic happens on the second floor. Clean facilities, friendly and amazingly talented artists.Olivia and Manny 2 of the most gracious people you will meet!10/10 recommend

I’ve had 1 little tattoo and a half sleeve done by Manny and both came out awesome. He always listened to what I wanted and was super professional. Will definitely be back to get more tattoos by him in the future!

Lady here was not helpful at all came in twice to just look at piercings and was denied help both times, the second time was I told to come back in 40 minutes just to come all the way back and could not be helped once again because they were “swamped” but literally there was only one other person LOL. I get that you have to make appointments but why waste someone’s time like that. And the fact that this happened twice shows the type of person she is. Will be taking my business elsewhere.

They dont answer any questions and are rude. A simple basic tattoo question I ask all tattoo parlors that can answer but these people would not and were rude about it. They just want a sale. Im good. Hire better quality staff. Your work is no better than anywhere else so dont act better than others. Also overcharges. I was told a small .5 inch tat would be 150 and no othee info can be givin unless I waste my time driving there to ask the same question LOL. Keep ur tats.

The piercer was professional and kept everything clean and sterile. My only recommendation is to change the written instructions to state: return after 4-6 weeks for a shorter post, refrain from changing jewelry to different material until 6 months. I dont remember the details of the verbal instructions at the time of the piercing, but the paper makes it seem as though you cant change anything out until the 6 month mark. When I went in after the 6 months to get a smaller post, I was told I should have had it swapped at 4-6 weeks. Who knows if having the shorter post in earlier would have made a difference (likely it was just me sleeping on it and/or the way the piercing was going to behave no matter what) but the piercing ended up migrating back into the old spot (this was a repiercing).

Do not do $50 tattoo Small Saturday. I thought it sounded too good to be true but I called and asked and they said it was $50 and then after the tattoo they said it would be $120 and the $50 is only a deposit. Tattoos turned out alright but very misleading

My friend went here for a small tattoo; her tattoo was a mess lol. However, as I sat to wait for her rude guy Mike to finish up I watched his co-worker do a beautiful tatt on a guy. Coloring and art was amazing. Also the guy Mike who did my friend tatto was so rude that I told my friend ask for someone else but she didnt and just like Insaid her tatt is a mess. Place was clean which is a plus but I would would only allow Ravv to tatt me. His personality is great and happy but his work is magnificent

Consultation went well. The front desk staff were nice and friendly. Tried to follow up with my artists numerous times as my appointment neared as I never received a design and was severely disappointed. Ended up cancelling and asking for my deposit back.

BTC is one of the best companies around. I have gotten 7 tattoos from Deanna, one from a guest artist and a piercing from Brian. Ive always had great experiences and recommend BTC to everyone.

Too expensive. They charge per earring not by pair and they didn’t tell me prices until after I filled out the release and picked out earrings. Was 115 for my second ear lobe piercings. Should’ve went to Claire’s.

Walked in, talked to Andy, give him an idea, was done in 15 minutes. These guys are awesome, personable, and no nonsense all at the same time in a perfect balance. Was really happy with the result and left thinking about my next visit for whenever I’m back in Boston.

Got my first piercing in over 15 years and glad I went to BTC. Kio was patient with me (I was pretty nervous about piercing my nostril) and explained everything calmly. He was so quick and the piercing itself barely hurt. Thanks, Kio!

This shop doesnt look too spacious from outside but just like Narnia, there is a hidden wonderland once you enter those doors. Downstairs looks like its been pulled out of a catalog for what a waiting room/lobby should look like with animals mounted and magazines, it just screams art.As to the artists, I got to see some of the amazing work being made and Ill tell you, these guys are professionals. Boston is my home and now so is Boston Tattoo Company. Go see East.

These guys know what they are doing. Really good work. They were fast and they were really good at tattooing something I personally designed myself. Relaxing music on a really good place, whit a really welcoming and helpful staff.

The McDonalds of tattoos. Artist was unprepared even after I was requested by website to email what I wanted. My conferemce was held standing up in a cold crowded lobby where he acted like I was bothering him. Wanted a deposit without showing me any work even after I emailed it to him a week before.....not impressed.

Honestly, this place is awesome. It is right down the street from me. I had a couple tats done here by various artist. Never saw the same twice. But last September, on a whim I decided I wanted a specific tattoo. I called looking for someone who would be able to handle my walk in. I was put in touch with Deanna for the piece and there was no looking back from there. She drew up exactly what I had in mind after only a brief conversation. I felt so at ease with her and really just a genuine connection that I have never had with an artist before and I had quite a few before coming here for this piece. After the first piece by her, I was back literally the NEXT WEEK, for a second piece off her Friday the 13th flash sheet. By this point, I have about a half dozen tattoos by Deanna over the course of about exactly one year. I will never go to another artist. She is awesome, clean, friendly, and makes you laugh. She has a light hand and she makes the pain so much more tolerable!!! (I have ditch [elbow and armpitish] tats by her with barley a flinch). Her art style is incredible, right up my alley and she never ceases to produce amazing artwork for my pieces. Her lines are crisp and her shading is on point. Awesomely, well rounded artist!!! She has even given my mom a couple tattoos as well. I would highly, highly recommend her, her work, and the shop in itself. Very clean and friendly!!!

I have had Jimmy do a Bruins logo for me. Had a guest artist Christine Barnum do an inherit the stars sleeve and at Boston Tattoo she finished up the megaman tattoo. The artists here are top notch, and you will be 100% satisfied. Go get some ink ...

My tattoo artist was Olivia Hartranft and the art work the she did on my back it was so touching and very beautiful she did a great job she made me feel very comfortable and she was so awesome.. I recommend people to go to the place..

I went to this shop for a piercing.I got there around 8:10,to inquire more about the piercing I was going to get.When I was trying to explain to the guy the type of piercing I wanted,before I could fully say what I wanted,his response was “if you’re going get any piercing,you have to hurry,I have to get out of here”.Mind you,this place closes at 9:00pm.The customer service at this place is horrible,it was quite embarrassing.
