Iron Clad Tattoos

Been getting tattooed by Mikey for a few years now. Absolutely love him, this shop, and the work he does on me. All the other staff I have interacted with have been super nice as well. Everything he has done has healed beautifully and the lines/shading look perfect. VERY fair pricing. The shop looks awesome with all the artists displaying their work. Cant wait to come work on the sleeve more tomorrow! I wont go to anyone but him!

Ive known Chris for many years and have been to his shop since it started. Chris has been tattooing for a long time and is great at what he does and is super talented. Jesse is my main artist at the shop and he is very precise and detailed and takes time on his pieces which shows his talent and love for what he does. You cant go wrong with any of the artist at this shop.

Had an absolutely wonderful experience!! Natalie is so talented! and shes so gentle too! literally cannot wait to go back 💛

This studio has everything you look for in a tattoo shop. Every artist is extremely talented, friendly, and creative. Ive had all my work done by Mikey Lane and am hoping to get eyebrows done by Amanda Jacklin in this coming year. He is extremely professional, communicative, and adaptable to help you compose your tattoo in the best way possible. I would recommend any cool chill people here, if youre a jerk just leave my buds alone. Place is extremely clean, music is always loud & great, and everyone is super supportive of each others work.

The shop is very clean! I got my first bigger and customized tattoo here with Mikey. I had a lot of questions and he was very nice and patient with me. It turned out so beautifully, I love it so much! I would recommend coming here!

Grant has done just about all my work and I have been coming to him since he has started tattooing. His work continues to get better and better. Cant wait to have him finish my sleeve and start the other. Best shop around. All the artists are super talented and have very diverse skill set so no matter what you are looking for, they have you covered.

Me and my sister got tattoos done by Jesse at Iron Clad and he did a great job. He was really patient with us while making the template exactly how we wanted it and made any adjustments for us to make sure it was just right. It was my sisters first tattoo and he made sure she was comfortable and ok throughout the session. Everything was really clean and all the staff was friendly. I would highly recommend going here!

Great place. Clean and professional. These guys are real artists. Jeff has been doing my tattoos for several years. Always very patient and willing to give me exactly what Im looking for in a design. Kaitlin did an ABSOLUTELY amazing job on my tattoo. It was a large shoulder coverup piece, and I loved working with her. Her eye for detail is fantastic, and she put a lot of imagination into the design of my new tattoo. She made me feel comfortable, was great at communication, and was simply a pleasure to work with. I’ll feel confident showing my newly-reworked tattoo off now! I highly recommend her.

Dude these guys are always quality! Got s tattoo a month ago, fairly priced. They were cool about squeezing me in! Super tight lines, clean and gently touch! Heard Grant is very good as well! Shop was clean d staff was super chill and friendly!

Jeff is the best tattoo artist I have ever had. I have had many tattoos over the years and Jeffs lines and shading are fantastic. His colors are vibrant.

Ive been going to Iron Clad for close to 3 years (both locations), and am always tattooed by Chris. He is AMAZING! Not only is his work amazing, but he is a great guy, and a joy to be tattooed by. Each artist Ive encountered at the shop has been very friendly, professional, and all of them put out quality work!

One of the best cleanest and most professional shops in the extended cleveland area. Great artist great piercers. Grant hooked me up with a tattoo a few years ago(I mean 7) the color has stayed and it still looks like the day we put it on. Also came up with a great design when all I told him was I want something awesome. Highly recommend you go see them if you are looking for something above and beyond

I have had over 40 hours of tattooing done by Jeremy aka Rudy over the last year. Hes a awesome artist and does great work. Hes always been professional and has killed every tattoo he has done for me! The shop is dope and every one is very talented and professional.Great Place!

THE best shop around!! I have been going to Chris for years and Iron Clad is the only place I will get my ink! Almost finished with my sleeve and then I am starting my back piece. They all are VERY professional, beautiful clean shop, and very fair pricing. I was quoted almost double for my sleeve. They all are kick ass people who VOLUNTEER their talent to many different organizations including children and vets. I may live almost an hour away, but they are worth the drive and more!

Hands down the best tattoo shop in the Cleveland area. I’ve gone to 6 different tattoo shops in the past 8 years and this one is by far the best. Kaitlin can take any picture you give her and make it 10 times better. I highly recommend booking an appointment at this shop with her!

I get my work done by Kaitlin. She is amazing. She always does a great job. She can do anything from traditional to realism. We are working on a sleeve for myself. She is the best tattoo artist I have found in the Cleveland area. I would recommend her to anyone!

I got my first tattoo here at Iron Clad Tattoo by Chris Prater (shop owner). Everything went smooth from start to finish even from the first time we talked on the designs and I just trusted him and did not disappoint at all. The Dragon piece he made is just epic. Shop wise its VERY CLEAN people are nice and the ambiance all around is just welcoming. If you are looking for a place to get your tattoo check this shop out and you will not be disappointed they have great tattoo artist. Give it a shot and Thank me later!!! Grant Taylor is a true tattoo artist. He has done work on myself, my daughter, my son and to many friends to mention. The shop is clean, beautiful and has the most incredible team!!! I went here for my first tattoo, and could not have had a better experience! I set up my appointment with Grant back in May to start a DBZ based piece, and his work completely exceeded my expectations. The entire experience was phenomenal. All the artist were very fun and professional and made the time fly by. Once the tattoo was done he gave me very detailed instructions on how to care for it during the healing process, and even responded to Instagram messages after hours when I was curious if I was follow the instructions right. couldnt have be more satisfied with the work, and cant wait to go back to finish it!

I highly recommend this tattoo parlor, especially Jeff who just did my first tattoo. I was very nervous of how much it was going to hurt but Jeff was extremely patient and talked me through everything. I have worked in healthcare and to be honest, this place was more sterile and clean than a hospital. Jeff drew up my tattoo super fast and I was only in the chair for 5 minutes. Everyone there was super nice and patient. I recommend this place to anyone visiting the area or for first-time tattooies.

Got matching tats with my daughter on my 57th birthday. Fast, clean and good. Jeff Stoerkel did a fantastic job and relatively the least painful tattoo Ive gotten. Would recommend.

I came in to get a recommendation for an artist that would enjoy doing/do a good job of reproducing a picture I brought in. My fiance called first to inquire if the shop was open and the man answering the phone was short with him when he asked the hours. Despite that, we stopped by because we checked out their Facebook and liked their work. The red haired man that greeted us was rude. He acted bored and uninterested when we asked for his recommendation of an artist. He showed me a portfolio that i reviewed and declined and i asked to look a bit more at Grants since I heard by word of mouth that he is a great artist and is very professional. When I mentioned I liked grants work because he could replicate the intricate lines like in my picture, the man nastily informed me that the lines in my picture arent intricate, theyre just wings. I blew up the image to show him there were many detailed lines that needed drawn but he dismissed what I said. This brief encounter was enough to turn me off to the entire place. I was ready to put down a deposit that day, but with front desk staff that rude, no thanks. Im sorry I made the drive out there.

After visiting other shops for work over the years I have finally found a shop that I wont leave. Helpful staff, world class art and a clean sterile environment. From the design process through the finished product I was highly impressed with Chris and Iron Clad.

Scam artists...Grant told me to come in, so he can look at my sleeve in progress and he will pencil me in for completion.2 months out is my appointment for 7/29.Grant said he would NOT do the portrait on my elbow that was already outlined. I asked about covering it up. Grant said that he does NOT do coverups.Let me pencil you in and need to pay upfront $50 for a no show appointment. Ok...I paid cash!I found an excellent tattoo artist right away and is very available for tattooing times. He has completed my sleeve and no longer need the 7/29 appointment with Grant.I texted Grant a few days ago and told him I wanted to cancel my appointment and asked about my $50.He said there is no gift certificate and that it is only for Grants work and for me to reschedule. I dont want to reschedule. I want proof that I paid the money so I can use later on or give to a friend. He said I do not get my money back and if I wasnt going to use the service that I shouldnt have wasted his time..........TIME????? What time???? 5 mins???He looked and couldnt do the two things I asked him to do. He said lets pencil you in at least and youll have time to decide what you want. He drew up nothing...he did no service to me, but to wright my name on a calendar.Ultimate scam artist...do not go there!!!!!

I had seen some great work come out of this shop and told my sister she should get her work done there. Well the tattoo came out ...OK, but the guy Rudy wasnt very professional. He made a comment about my physical handicap that I didnt appreciate. I gave him the benefit of the doubt, maybe he didnt realise it was inappropriate. He is kind of a sarcastic/ smartass individual. However during a break in the session he tried to persuade my sister to go smoke with him (pot) in his car, she declined. My sister also told me during the session he gave my sister his number. She felt really uncomfortable that he kept calling her a pretty little thing. Like I said, decent work if your OK with the unprofessionalism.

Amanda did amazing work on a memorial tattoo for my daughter Amanda..Me and my niece really loved her work and personality and will definitely be returning !!

Jeff Stoerkel is the best. His attention to the smallest detail and his desire to make his art perfect on your body is unmatched.

Chris did a very bad tattoo on my friend and majorly over charged her. Definitely would not recommend coming here. Or if you do, do not go to Chris.

Amazing shop. Ive gotten half my sleeve done in two sessions. Artists are intricate and the music is always great. Chris is amazing, definitely recommend him. Booking are normally months out, but I promise the work is worth it.
