I just took my teen daughter to this place which was already recommended. The place was clean and well organized. Our ear piercer was Cynthia. She was AMA ING! Being an apprehensive parent, I felt very comfortable with the process. Cynthia was very patient in explaining all the details of the process and addressing all of my many questions. I highly recommend this place and Cynthia. It was a very positive experience for both my daughter and I. Thank you Cynthia!!

Went in a couple of days ago to get my helix pierced with Ana. She was really patient and sweet this was my first piercing I’ve ever gotten and I was nervous for it I’m glad I came here . she asked what was my budget and overall plans for the future with other ear piercings she took her time to listen and suggested pieces and ideas that fit within the photo inspo I gave her, the piercing itself was painless and quick and just overall clean! She offered a drink and a lollipop afterwards since I felt a little lightheaded but I’m happy I can know my piercer can take care of me if I’m not doing too well Thank you Ana for making my first piercing experience a good one I definitely will come back to get more done by her

Our experience here was very good. Leo helped me and my partner out with some flash tattoos. He was very accommodating and kind. He went above and beyond to make sure we got what we came for. We can definitely recommend the shop and would highly recommend working with Leo.

I visited during the March madness sale for the $25 dollar piercings. Was told I couldn’t get my piercing. Not because of my anatomy, but because the piercer didn’t feel comfortable piercing there because of the placement of one of my other piercings. I wanted a conch piercing, but the piercer felt the mid helix I already had would touch and irritate the new conch piercing. I honestly didn’t understand why they couldn’t pierce it because my old piercing has a bar that’s short and the new piercing would have a longer bar. So I didn’t understand how they would touch (it’s literally a faux snug). I was upset that I made a blank trip to the shop, but I ended up going to another shop where one of their former piercers are and they were able to do my piercing with no problem and it’s healing well. All in all, the services are usually good here and I would still visit, but only for a jewelry change.🚨Update🚨: The owner is missing the point of my review. YOUR trained piercer that I was talking to lacked conflict resolution skills! She told me I couldn’t get the piercing because the jewelry I already had in my mid helix which was a labret would touch the new conch piercing I wanted. There was nothing wrong with my anatomy the issue was the jewelry. When I went to a different tattoo shop where YOUR FORMER trained employee now works, she pointed out the same issue with the jewelry. However, she was able to come up with a resolution and said “If I change the labret in my mid helix to a hoop, I would be able to get the conch piercing because the jewelry won’t be touching”. She didn’t just do the piercing because she didn’t care or just wanted my money. THEY WERE TRAINED UNDER YOU GUYS so they know how to conduct a thorough check before piercing. The moral of my review was that when it comes to conflict resolution skills, some of your piercers lack it and just send customers away without giving other options or alternatives. I went to the other shop and she noticed and understood what the issue was with my jewelry, but she was able to resolve the issue by telling me to put a hoop in my mid helix and the piercings won’t touch each other. So I put in a hoop and went back to them to get the piercing. She was right and now it’s healing very well and not touching at all. You all might want to start incorporating that skill in your training.

Colby is an awesome piercer. I came to her to re-pierce my nose and earlobe and so far they are healing up nicely. I was expecting discomfort but she is super gentle! The shop carries quality jewelry and had a lot of options to choose from. I also appreciated Colby’s advice - I wanted to get more piercings and she recommended to wait a bit longer for the others to heal. That to me shows that she is knowledgeable and actually cares about her clients. I’ve had 2 not so great experiences at other piercing shops, but I think I’ve found my place.

First of all... I do not understand why this place is getting these rave reviews.. maybe these reviews are written by friends or family.. before I go any further I want to stress that this has nothing to do with the tattoo artist that we were about to deal with yesterday since he was gracious and obviously a very talented young cat.. I really hope that the person that owns this establishment gets to read this since this is really aimed for him or her.. the lack of professionalism that this place has has to be witnessed in order to be believed.. if I owned that place I would want to know what goes on there.. to get to the point my wife and I walked in there yesterday for her to get a tattoo we. there was this one guy laying on the couch taking the whole couch with his feet taking the entire couch as if it was his house.. totally uncaring about other customers that might have wanted to sit there and apparently this guy is in charge of the music..not really sure what hes function there is.. I really dont know what he does there he is definitely not the owner.. Since By the way he looks he cant afford to buy a pack of chewing gum ..much less a tattoo shop.. in any case after listening to Alice and chains for like about 30 minutes we asked if he could change the music to any kind of other rock and roll.. (we are both musicians)...not music haters.... without even looking at us he just said that that is what he likes to play and thats just the way it was my wife and her usual sweet diplomatic self asked him again... without even looking at her he totally refused.. now..I dont know if things are different with this place but usually the customer is who you need to appease not some guy who is arrogant and and causing the customers to walk out.. ...totaly lacking people skills...I feel really bad for the guy that was about to do the tattoo for my wife since we literally walked out when we were doing the paperwork.. but the fact remains that this place lost 2 customers and potential returning customers... as good as this place might be there are plenty of other places that are great as well.. in fact we walked out and went directly to another shop.. and the work that they did on her was fantastic.. this again has nothing to do with the people that are doing the tattoos or the piercing.. this has to do with the lack of professionalism towards clients from this particularcharacter... if by any chance the owner gets to read this.. he /she should really inquire about this matter.. and it might be in his/her best interest to get rid of that guy since he cost you money.. and teach the people there better people skills...

First off 10/10 experience... we went about 1 hour before they closed and they were still very kind and took us. We went in for 2 tattoos and 1 piercing... 3 people total. Ozzy was my artist and the entire time from idea to drawing he worked side by side with me not rushing at any point. The tattoo experience went very well and VERY quickly and was priced well. I had one other friend get her nose pierced with Felix and he was very kind and patient as it was her first time. Felix also did the tattoo on my other friend and was cracking jokes throughtout to ease any tension or anxiety the jokes come free. All in all 10/10 experience will DEFINITELY be coming back. Thanks again!!

It was my first tattoo here😲 and Ray was really nice😊 and descriptive with the healing process😌. During my session she frequently asked if I was ok, and my whole first impression was absolutely amazing.🤩 I would go here again if I had more money 😅

Very happy with the service and kind staff at Lou’s. Whatever you do, do it at S beach location. Great OG vibe and Edson is your man for fine line work. Gentle and minimal discomfort. Michelle the owner is as sweet as they come.

Kat and Colby are my absolute favorite piercings!!!! I’ve been pierced by Colby for about a year and a half, and the quality between both her and Kat is phenomenal. They’re so fun to talk to and create a very comfortable environment. They constantly are open to any questions you may have and are very methodical in their piercings. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

My first tattoo, I had always felt afraid of tattooing, I thought it was painful, I went for a recommendation to this place and the attention and professional recommendations were great. My tattoo artist explained the process, He designed a better image than the one I had on paper, it took me no more than 40 minutes to complete the process and I am very happy with my tattoo and it did not hurt at all.

Colby and Kat are the best piercers ever! I have a huge fear of needles and they always are very gentle and understanding whenever I’m getting pierced :) The tattoo artist, Alan, is awesome as well! Super great conversation and a sick fine-line floral tattoo!

I got my tragus piercing done here by a lovely professional named Kat! They made me feel so comfortable and checked in with me multiple times throughout the process. I heard a tragus could hurt a lot, but they helped me to calm down. I had a little break before they pushed the jewelry in, but by that point I was fine :) My last experience at another shop wasn’t so great, so I really appreciated the attention to service. I recommend all my friends to get their piercings done here, but specifically by Kat!

I have been to Lou’s a few times for my labret piercing mainly to help screw it back in since I’m a little squeamish. I’ve gone about 3 times for this and each time it falls out the next day and I would either lose the jewelry or need to screw it back in myself. I wouldn’t have a problem with this if they didn’t charge $10 each time. Besides this situation the piercers have been nice and helpful with my piercings.

Colby Cameron was really great. I had an old torn and surgically repaired ear lobe that I wanted to get pierced again. She was very attentive and concerned to make sure that what she did would be properly done. Im very pleased and will go back for her to check the progress as it heals.

Back in October 2019 I got a tattoo here on my hand and I never got around to leaving a review but I thought Id take the chance now. It turned out a little bit bigger than I wanted it to and then the artist charged me more for getting it on my hand, $120, and said anywhere else on my body would be $60. I couldnt recommend anyone to go here and I will never even go back for them to touch it up. Do your research a little bit more and find a shop that practices business a little bit better than this.Edit: The issue wasnt touching up, I fully expected any tattoo to push out ink as it heals. The issue is the fact that the little hand tattoo cost $120 when the artist would have charged $60 everywhere else. I stand by my review and what I said. Id rather be tattooed somewhere else and you should as well ☺️

I called around and sent messages to a few shops which had tattoos and piercings on their social media pages; a few never responded, others said sorry we only do tattoos. So when I found and read some articles about Tattoos by Lou, I didnt have my hopes up very high. But I kept reading more on their site and different reviews so have them a ring on the phone. When I called, I spoke to Kat who had a nice, friendly and bubbly attitude. She confirmed, yes we provide that service, and Im the piercer on site. I ran around for the day celebrating my birthday and planned that this would be my last stop. We walked in a couple of hours before closing. The place was clean, staff was well ... a tattoo & piercing vibe.. nothing rude, but each spot is different, they were laid back and were finishing up with another client. Kat introduced herself, and remembered my call from earlier She was knowledgeable, took her time and explained the entire process to put me at ease. She answered my questions clearly and was open to my inquiries. She pulled out her phone to show me her IG and portfolio of piercings... In short she is a great asset to the location, and helped me add to my collection of body art. Id definitely recommend her and the location if this is the level of service all of the workers provide. Not so quick cuz I had plenty of questions, but informative, clean, and professional...

Been coming here for 2 years and Ozzy has done all 4 of my tattoos. Each one has come out amazing and healed great! Very clean, everyone is very professional and kind. I got my nose pierced here & the Kass! Honestly she’s the sweetest, most attentive & pays such great attention to detail. she told me “be picky. tell me what you want”. I was looking to get my first tattoo and I needed to find an artist that was really good with line work. I was in no hurry and I did tons of research to find an artist that I could trust and execute the tattoo. That artist was Ozzy. I met with Ozzy and he was really friendly and genuinely excited to do the tattoo. He listened to my concerns and made me feel comfortable. The tattoo took about three hours to do and wasnt as bad as I had thought it would be. We took a few breaks and Ozzy asked me several times how I was doing and conversated the whole time which made the time go by faster. I was very happy with how the tattoo turned out and will be going back to Ozzy for my next tattoo. I highly recommend Ozzy if youre looking to get an amazing tattoo.

Back in April I walked in looking for a tragus piercing. Colby was the piercer there and helped me with everything. They were incredibly kind and patient with me and walked me through the entire process. I was pretty nervous since I do not handle pain too well, but Colby talked me through the entire thing and it was great. Everyone there is so kind and have a great vibe. 10/10 recommend.

The young lady was sweet, but my advice to her is to stop asking people if theyre nervous? That has a tendency to make people nervous. I especially wasnt nervous, I was just replacing my jewelry. But she asked me at least 3 times, I was just scrolling on my phone. So again, I know she had no ill intention, but maybe she needs a little training on customer service techniques.

Alexa did my wifes nose piercing and was GREAT!She was patient and knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. The process was super smooth and the results have been great.

Leo Lombardo did an amazing job on both my forearms. Absolutely beautiful, detailed, and painless. He has such a wonderful personality that instantly sets you at ease. I cannot recommend him enough. I would give a million starts if possible.

Took forever just to get a piercing and staff was highly unprofessional. She messed up on my piercing and made me go through the pain again to correct her mistake. The piercing after care wipes they give after are cheap and smell awful and leave my skin burning/tingling. Extremely overpriced as well, over $60 for a basic piercing during a sale. Please do yourself a favor and choose a different place.

Great shop. Been coming here for decades. Everyone that works there is great. Briga who works there has been tattooing me lately and she always exceeds my expectations. I had multiple family members who wanted memorial tattoos. I sent them to Briga and she took care of all of us and everyone was very happy with her work. Shop is always clean and I see a lot of people come here get tattoos or piercings and leave happy.

I was a walk in and was a client of Brigas, she is an excellent and professional in her craft. Not only did she make the experience as painless as possible, but she also managed to put me at ease during the entire process... which is saying something given I have quite an aversion to needles and pain. her demeanor and portfolio assured me that i wont go to anyone else from now on.the entire establishment itself is quite welcoming and the staff in general are approachable and warm. I felt so at ease from the moment I stepped in, I almost forgot I was there seeking to get inked.

This is my first time at TBL and it was AWESOME! Colby was so sweet and knowledgeable about the eyebrow piercing I got. She made me feel super comfy. Definitely recommend this place :D

Not sure what all the bad reviews are about on here, like why they are there. Guess everyone has different preferences and experiences but I’ll say this, I’ve been to Lous twice to buy jewelry and this was my first time getting pierced with them. The staff is NOT rude and unfriendly in any way, I went with my husband and was told to return by the piercer in training so I left and came back at the time I was told. Very friendly and what a good experience, I was pierced without any issues. Very clean sterile shop, Jayden (hope I spelled your name right) was very sweet and took care of me. She did an awesome job and I’m happy with my stud piercing! Sadly I’m moving up north soon but I wish I would of come here sooner for my other piercings. I’d definitely come back here! Thanks!

Worst place ever. Called day before for the appointment. Was reassured I can get a piercing here. Waisted my time to drive there just to hear a half of my age person is not feeling comfortable to do her job. Never recommend it to anyone. I came here for a belly piercing and the young lady at the counter made me pull my shirt up in the front of the shop to tell me I couldnt get it because I had a weird belly button, it wouldnt heal proper. I believe she was just trying to politely tell me I was too fat. So that had me in my feelings. But if it werent for her I would have never found Inkaholik! Yes she had to modify the piercing for my body, but she was encouraging and did it. That angels name is Andrea and I highly recommend you go to her instead. Thank you.To their response, great generic response. But Ive never had my belly pierced before. So try another excuse for the unprofessional service I received. There is no scar tissue. Just admit you guys made a bad call. The business will get more respect that way. Just my opinion

I’ve gotten two tattoos here and a piercing as well and every single time I go in I am treated exactly the same. They have never failed me. Everyone is friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. The first tattoo I got done in this location was by Ozzy and the second was with G. Both artists took the time to explain and suggest what would look best to bring my vision to life. They didn’t just copy and paste what I wanted which I can really appreciate since some artists in other shops don’t take the time to actually talk to you. I am so happy with everything I’ve gotten in this location. I already put down a deposit for my next piece with G and I’m super excited. Great location, talented artists, and good prices.

First time on this shop to buy a nose piercing and the first time I see a Tatto studio with the best actitud and the best availability to help customers. I do not know what’s the deal but in every tattoo on my experience they are rude and have a really bad actitud . But this time it was a great experience a girl that I forget her name was super sweet . They are super clean and profesional super recommended. Definitely going back.

So I took my daughter to have an industrial piercing and willow examine her ear. She was was quite informative and gave my daughter her best advise base on her expertise. she gave my daughter ideas how to fix her first out of place previous piercing. We went to Tattoos by Lou to get my 6 year old niece her first ear piercings. We were obviously not the typical client they are used to (LOL). However, everyone in the shop was very kind and very sweet to my niece who was understandably very scared. She walked out of there with her new earrings very happy and excited. Thank you so much for the great service, the cleanliness of the shop and most of all for the wonderful customer service.

My friend and I spontaneously wanted to get a tattoo. When we walked in it was a little busy but the staff was so friendly and we were greeted right away. G ended up being the tattoo artist that worked with us and I’m so happy it was her. She listened to me and really applied what I was looking for in the sketch she made. I changed my mind a lot and she was so patient. She also gave me her profesional opinion on what she thought would look best. TBL will always be a 5-star establishment in my book but because I ended up with what culminated in 1-star service...3-stars is the average. I waited to write this review in hopes that I wouldnt have to speak negatively about my #2 favorite place in Miami. Theres nowhere else I wouldve considered getting a tattoo in the entire state of Florida and now I gotta look elsewhere.The artist I chose to do my piece wont finish it,despite the fact that I paid hard earned money for a solid tattoo. Not much fell off while it healed but I was still supposed to go back after 3 weeks and get it touched up. That didnt happen...and it would be quite uncouth of me to share the details as to why...even though its tempting.So instead, I get to walk around with some faded lines and a couple gaps on what wouldve been a pretty awesome piece. And I get an even awesom-er reminder EVERYTIME I look down at this permanent design etched into my arm...like the post-it note that never stops giving.

Kassandra was excellent. Got my tragus pierced and I felt no pain. She made the transition flawless. In love with my piercing.

I got piercing here on my ear and follow all the directions.The cost was 150 and i bought the after care to make sure it wouldn’t get infected and now i have a terrible bump that won’t go away.

Clean shop with friendly staff. Fox tattooed me. He’s extremely talented with a big heart. He executed exactly what I wanted while putting his own spin on it. The lady that did my ear piercings I believe her name is Willow, was very nice, and funny. I got three ear piercing. I got one Tragus, and two Upper Lobe. I am glad I come here. Very sterile, and clean.

I used to love this shop. Had great tattoo artists. The quality of this shop has gone down hill. I came to this shop 20 years ago to get a piercing, and come back thought the years to get other work done. This last time I went, Fox did my tattoo. Hes a cool guy, but I do not recommend him for work. He did a VERY simple tattoo. To say it was poor work, it was an understatement. I dont know if he was high, but he looked out of it. My fault for going through with it. When I saw him come in to work I should have left

Ive gotten tatted here 3 times, all by Fox and hes the man. Professional, clean, and timely. Hes also super down-to-earth, and willing to workshop ideas, and help you come up with the best tattoo idea/placement possible. I have both lettering and bigger work from him, and both came out so crisp. Come here and be happy for life (and ask for Fox!)

Really good experience, for a helix piercing it was not that painful and my piercer (Willow) was very calming and supportive through the process. The piercing ended up being exactly where I wanted it and looks great!

I went to Tattoos by Lou to get a second ear piercing and a tragus piercing and was serviced by Katie. She is not only super nice and friendly, she makes easy conversation and made the whole processes very simple for me. She talked me through the entire process, start to finish. Ive gotten my tragus pierced before and this time it hurt FAR less than the first time. She was gentle and made me feel relaxed. I would highly recommend going to her if your looking for a great piercing experience.

I got a belly piercing at Tattoos by Lou. The process of filling out the paperwork was fast and simple. They provided me with the aftercare spray. Which came to my satisfaction that I didn’t have to worry about finding the spray during this pandemic. At the end of the day I had received my belly piercing. One of the gems fell out, I noticed them and they replaced free.

Would 100% recommend, Colby pierced me and she did amazing. I was comfortable and they were super patient, super clean and professional. Plan on going back there very soon.

I did my belly piercing and helix with Jaden. It was my first time here by the way. She was really nice and polite. She provided me all the information I needed and answered my questions clearly. Planning on coming back to get more ear piercings ･ᴗ･

First of all when we walked in the staff was very rude to us saying it was a two hour wait when the place was not that full. After coming back two hours later The artist Fox was very passive aggressive towards the tattoo I wanted to get and kept making comments like “trust what?”. Last time I checked a professional tattoo artist should not be judging someone’s choice of tattoo. Regardless after waiting for hours a group of his friends show up and he leaves for 20 minutes while we’re just standing there clueless. After that we got a bad vibe from the place and decided to leave because he was careless and rude towards me and my friends. I don’t recommend coming here unless u want to be treated worthless and pay for overpriced tattoos.

Alondra pierced my helix and she was so incredibly sweet and patient. She’s the BEST. She answered my million questions without even the tiniest bit of frustration. This shop also offers numbing cream for anyone like me who has zero pain tolerance. I barely felt a thing

I had a great experience with my nostril piercing and there was different various of jewelry to choose of. They told me how I should take care of my piercing with saline solution. Ive went to different shops before but this is the greatest one so far. Thank you.

I went in needing some help changing a piercings ring and G Glitter was so helpful. No judgements no anxiety. She was very helpful and professional and she even clicked with me on a level where shell be doing my next tattoo which is a memorial tattoo. I just got home from trying to get a tattoo fixed. My 21y/o brother in law did a USA flag with We the People of the United States on my right forearm. I supplied all new equipment for him (New machine, needles, ink, sterile gloves, chux, etc...)He did it in Colombia where he lives and is trying to build his business. The kid did a great job on a Libra scale sign in my right upper deltoid area. But needs experience with the flag tattoo. I asked for a consultation and the artist, I will not mention any names, tries to tell this 30+ year Registered Nurse/Nurse Practitioner of Emergency Departments that he will not touch because it looks infected. Now, there is NO, I mean NO redness, swelling, pus, itching, pain, fever, joint pain, simply dry skin. The tattoo is about 1 1/2 weeks old. I totally would have respected his decision artistically, to not want to touch the tat and try and fix; but to tell me its infected. Im going to be professional and simply say, medicine is not his business. I respect his decision as an artist, but he is dead WRONG on the tat being infected. Not even dermatitis, baby rash. This is a NEGATIVE STAR RATING!!!!! I have had tats done a Lous South Beach before by Chief, and received all the respect in the world. I am very disappointed on how I was treated. Dry skin mister artist, no the difference between and infection and dry skin. Be honest with your clients, and tell them you prefer not to attempt to fix or touch on an Artistic basis. I dont want to give a bad rap, but the customer service and BS was not cool. I am very surprised. He picked on the wrong medical person to try and say something is infected. Sorry bud, I know my business well. That is why I would have simply respected his Artistic Decision not to touch the tat.

I am so disappointed.I got my nose pierced in January by Gator. He did a wonderful job with my piercing, very clean and careful. However he never told me the guage he pierced me with. Yes I didnt think to ask but this was my first time getting a body peircing.This was why when I went to visit today to get my jewelry changed I thought maybe that meant they have a standard size they pierce with and they would know that when I want to change to a hoop so they would use that same size. The woman peircing me(i didnt catch her name honestly she had black hair) was not as careful as Gator. She dropped my jewelry on the floor several times and barely santized it, she struggled to get the original smaller size I wanted in my nose, that went into my nose hole much easier, because she could not find the hole inside my nose. Instead to make it easier for her, she used a larger size which hurt and stuck out TERRIBLY and made me bleed. I wanted to changed my stud because it moved and made me look like I had a silver booger in my nose, NOW i looked like a i had a shower curtain ring in my nose. I was really concerned about it snagging on something and my nose was red and irritated because of a simple jewelry change. 20 minutes later I was in another piercing shop getting it fixed. They told me that it looks like she GAUGED my nose larger with the wrong size jewelry bc she didnt know what they had pierced me with. They advised me that I was probably pierced with an 18 guage which is on the smaller side. I ended up right back where i started and just put my original nose stud in. A true exercise in futility. What was supposed to be a 30 minute errand turned into a 2 hour ordeal. Thanks.

I went for a quote on a simple tattoo with no shading or color and the size of my palm... $200!!! Also, I went with my girlfriend and the girl told her that her tattoo (also very simple and is supposed to be the one of a quarter) had to be bigger. I feel like they just wanted to suck the most money from us. Never getting tatted here.

I went this weekend trying to get my ears pierced and the front desk clerk was not having it when I was asking questions she just told some basic stuff the earrings when I was going to ask something else she was like I need to help other customers and to top it off for just a regular ears pierced when ask the price 150 would never go there again

Called when I was 10 minutes away and the woman who answered said to come and then when I arrived she was extremely dismissive and denied certain requests. None of the ideas were big they were extremely small and simplistic and I even agreed to pay their high prices. The shop was supposed to be open for another 3 hours when I got there yet she acted like our business was a CHORE. Ending up leaving.

The guy in the front was friendly but the tattoo artist was a straight di*k. Im paying you to do the tattoo so why you want me to look for the font online so you can copy and paste. No bro. Do your job. I went to another shop they got the image photoshop it to straighten it out and remade it so I can get exactly what I want There is no skills in copying a outline from a font website and having the customer spend a ton of time looking for a font online.
